  • 내측 반월상 연골 뿌리 파열은 외상이나 퇴행성으로 생길 수 있으며, 이로 인해 반월상 연골의 돌출, 관절 연골의 손상, 골극의 생성, 내측 관절 간격의 협소를 유발 할 수 있다. 이는 중년이상의 나이에서 주로 발생하며, 외상을 동반하거나 외상없이 생길 수 있다. 본 저자는 13세 청소년에서 야구 경기 도중 발생한 내측 반월상 연골 후각부 뿌리 파열 1예를 경험하였고, 관절경하에 suture anchor를 이용한 직접적 봉합술을 시행하였기에 이를 보고하고자 한다.

  • 154kV insulator strings are frequently damaged by lightning strokes, overvoltage and contamination. And this insulator damage inflicts a loss on the power company. The purpose of this paper is to develop the arcing horn as a protective device of 154kV insulator strings against lightning flashover and overvoltages. So We have developed the arcing horn which is suitable for 154kV transmission line and estimated the performance of arcing horn by high current arcs and high voltage tests.

  • A horn antenna having dual-band and dualpolarization operation is proposed. To implement a small-sized structure providing circular polarizations in the Ka- and K-band, the antenna is designed by using the horn radiator on the basis of a conical helix which is exited by two ports for TX and RX in both ends. Through a design optimization process, a compactdual-band and dual-polarized horn antenna having high gain and high isolation performance was realized.

  • The two-dimensional turbulent flow around the horn-type rudder has been examined in the present study by using the commercial code FLUENT. The standard ${\kappa}-{\epsilon}$ model is used as a closure relationship. The geometry of horn rudder is based on the NACA 0020 airfoil. The simulations for various angle attack (${\alpha}$) and yaw angle(${\delta}$) are carried out. The effect of Reynolds number is also investigated in this study. The cavitation is more possible when the yaw angle is $6^{\circ}$ and it is more serious as Reynolds number increases.

  • This paper gives a description of an experimental study of the ultrasonic welding of metals. In ultrasonic metal welding, high frequency vibrations are combined with pressure to join two materials together quickly and securely, without producing significant amount of heat. Ultrasonic metal welder consists of Transducer, Booster, and horn that are designed very accurately to get the natural frequencies and vibration mode. In this study, The horn was designed and analyzed the natural frequency by the modal analysis and harmonic analysis. And using a fiber optic sensor, we measured the amplitude and analyzed the Fast Fourier Transformed result. Using the horn, Ultrasonic metal welding between Cu sheet and Cu sheet of 0.1mm thickness was accomplished under the optimal conditions of static pressure 0.15MPa, vibration amplitude 30% and welding time of 0.28s. This result can be used for ultrasonic metal welding in manufacturing industry.

  • Ultrasonic fine welding, cutting, cleaning, inspection and measurement is widely used in various fields over 20kHz. However, for High Frequency of 60kHz or more study areas is still insufficient, and the result is lacking. Therefore, this study used ultrasonic horn to the Bonding of Dissimilar Materials for effective design. Finite element analysis (FEA) is using the equations of motion to establish the model. The optimal design for the basic interpretation of vibration characteristics of the ultrasonic measures horn will examine the design.

과잉배란처치면양에 있어서 수술적방법에 의한 난회수법의 검토 (Studies on Flushing Ova from the Sheep Uterus)

  • A comparative study on the two techniques of uterine flushing in superovulated sheep was conducted. The first method was carried out by flushing of the horn through a Foley catheter inserted into the uterine horn (method I ). The second method involved flushing of the horn with the medium injected into uterine tip nea. the utero-tubal junction through a Foley catheter inserted into uterine horn(method II). Superovulation was carried out on day 8 of the estrous cycle by a FSH-PG method. Ova were flushed on 6 or 7 days after mating. The recovery rates in methods I and II were 68.0%(51/75) and 43.6%(17/39), respectively(p<0.05). It indicated that method I is effective technique for flushing of the sheep ova from the uterus.

  • The oral admistration of deer horn extract was proved to cause a considerable amelioration to the impairment of hepatic oxidative phosphorylation and to the decrease of ATP content in liver tissue induced by cholesterol ingestion. Deer horn extract was shown to accelerate considerably incorporation of $acetate-1-C^{14}$ into cholesterol in liver tissue and it tends to restore a decrease of GOT activity of liver tissue, caused by cholesterol administration. Histological examination showed that deer horn extract had a remakable preventive effect aginst fatty infiltration of organgs such as liver, heart, spleen, and adrenal gland of cholesterol given rabbits.

  • In this paper, the transducer instead of mechanical dynamic structure was used to generate ultrasonic wave and the horn-shape amplifier was utilized to solve the energy decaying problem of ultrasonic wave with propagating it through the media. The analyses of ultrasonic wave and a fluid for the selected structure of a cleaning head were carried out Based on simulator results, the distance between a horn and the substrate of 4 mm and the horn diameter of 10 mm were determined to maximize the energy of ultrasonic waves. The cool ins structure was also considered to reduce the heat from the transducer and the horn.
