Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the alopecia experience in adults and to explain the process of their experiences. Methods: Using a grounded theory methodology, 18 interviews were performed with fourteen men and four women, 34~57 years of age, suffering from alopecia. Data were analyzed using the constant comparative analysis method. Results: The core category emerged as "inescapable fetters". adults with alopecia engaged in three stages: embarrassment, seeking solution, and acceptance phase. Causal conditions were a vicious cycle of stress, biological factors and poor life style. Contextual conditions were recognition of irreversibleness, negative social awareness, and marriage. The central phenomenon of the adaptation process among the adults with alopecia was withdrawn life due to negative body image. Action/Interaction strategies included rely on medical treatment, efforts to take good care of hair, research for information treatment, efforts to cover up hair loss, and mind control. Intervening conditions were time cost, economic cost, support of surrounding people. Consequences was burden of unfinished lifetime homework. Conclusion: When caring for these adults, it is important to identify needs, allow patients to express what they want at that moment and support them in maintaining a daily life.
Before the commercialization of polymeric membranes applicable for industrial application, the homework remains for the high-performance polymers to overcome the practical challenge: long-term stability for prolonged service time. Polymers of intrinsic microporosity (PIMs), exhibiting exceptionally high fractional free volume and high permeability, are susceptible to physical aging where the extra volume created by the inefficient ladder-type packing will lead them from the volumetric equilibrium and reduce the free volume/permeability over time. Here, we will re-examine the physical aging of polymers of intrinsic microporosity, and discuss some of the most prominent attempts to mitigate physical aging in PIMs.

The study aimed to provide a proposed conception of technical solutions to address the educational loss in mathematics in the fifth grade of primary school, and the study adopted the descriptive approach. male and female teachers, and to achieve the study objective, the researcher built a tool for the study, a "questionnaire", in which he used the comprehensive inventory method, and the results of the study showed: identifying the learning outcomes that represent an educational loss, and identifying the learning outcomes that are considered essential in teaching and learning mathematics for the fifth grade of primary school. In the event that it is not achieved by students, it is considered an educational loss that may affect the future of students' education and learning. Because it is a basis for later experiences in mathematics in other classes, and the study also found the effectiveness of the proposed visualization of technical solutions provided to address the educational loss in mathematics for the fifth grade: (short electronic tests, YouTube channel, homework, educational platform, electronic worksheets, and communication channels).
This paper describes practical research on the improvement of teaching and learning process by integrating Web Bulletin Board (WBB) and mobile phone. This paper addresses three topics; A) the interactive lecture with topics-based discussions using the Web Bulletin Board (WBB) as a tool for assisting discussion, B) the introduction of peer evaluation among students to develop their problem-solving and cognitive skills, C) the use of mobile phones for promoting interactive lectures, keeping class attendance, conducting assignments, and providing notices for the next class. Results indicated the following research-findings: (1) WBB plays a role in facilitating positive participation in classes. (2) In contrast to the scenario of the traditional mode of instruction (without the usage of WBB), students were able to deepen their understanding of the theme by accessing the WBB before and after classes. (3) Peer evaluation highly promoted students' motivation to learn, and was effective in cultivating meta-cognition through modeling. (4) Mobile phone was identified as a highly effective tool for keeping class attendance, realizing interactive classes by generating discussions, and managing assignments and homework.

In this paper, I analyzed the cause that girl' ICT literacy score was hiegher than boy's score in middle school after 2010. KERIS had sampled 1% of whole middle school students and measured their ICT level. Therefore, I analyzed the correlation by gender between ICT literacy score and the using habit of ICT based on that result. As a result, the girl's score was higher than the boy's score in field of creating or editing documents, searching information for homework and study, accessing to on-line dictionary for study and enjoying SNS. Also, that difference between girl and boy had little correlation with ICT literacy score. Therefore, I proposed educational method for ICT literacy learning based on the difference of habit to use ICT between boys and girls.
Purpose: An emerging trend in Asian higher education is English-medium instruction (EMI), which uses English as the primary instructional language. EMI prepares domestic students for international leadership; however, students report difficulty in learning, and educators have raised questions concerning the effectiveness of EMI. The flipped learning model (FLM), in which lecture and homework activities for a course are reversed, was applied to an English-medium course offered by a college of nursing in Korea. The aims of this study were to: 1) revise an existing English-medium nursing course using the FLM; 2) explore students' learning experiences and their acceptance of the FLM; and 3) identify key factors in the success of FLM. Methods: We used a descriptive, cross-sectional, mixed-methods design and the participants were students at one nursing school in Korea. A series of course development meetings with faculties from the nursing school and the center for teaching and learning were used to develop the course format and content. We conducted course evaluations using the Flipped Course Evaluation Questionnaire with open-ended questions and focus group interviews. Results: Students (N=75) in a 15-week nursing course responded to a survey after completing the course. Among them, seven students participated in one of two focus groups. Overall, students accepted and favored the flipped learning strategy, and indicated that the method enhanced lecture content and their understanding of it. Factors associated with effective instruction included structured monitoring systems and motivational environments. Conclusion: The FLM requires sufficient preparation to facilitate student motivation and maximize learning outcomes.
We had a full scale of literature survey and case survey of mathematics Flipped Learning class models. The purpose of this study is to design and adopt a Flipped Learning 'Linear Algebra' class model that fis our need. We applied our new model to 30 students at S University. Then we analyzed the activities and performance of students in this course. Our Flipped Learning 'Linear Algebra' teaching model is followed in 3 stages : The first stage involved the students viewing an online lecture as homework and participating free question-answer by themselves on Q&A before class, the second stage involved in-class learning which researcher solved the students' Q&A and highlighted the main ideas through the Point-Lecture, the third stage involved the students participating more advanced topic by themselves on Q&A and researcher (or peers) finalizing students' Q&A. According to the survey, the teaching model made a certain contribution not only to increase students' participation and interest, but also to improve their communication skill and self-directed learning skill in all classes and online. We used the Purposive Sampling from the obtained data. For the research's validity and reliability, we used the Content Validity and the Alternate-Form Method. We found several meaningful output from this analysis.
This study investigated the integrated effects of family, school, internet, and mass culture factors on the identity formation of adolescents. Specifically, the purposes of this study were to categorize adolescents into groups by what they do during the time except the life in school and to investigate differences among the groups regarding the identity information(body image, self-esteem, self-identity) and the influences of environmental factors on identity formation of adolescent. The study distributed questionnaires to middle and high school adolescents of five representative cities in South Korea. The total respondents were 2240(960 from Seoul/Kyongki, and 320 each from Taegu, Pusan, Kwangju, and Taejon). The response rate was 98.7%. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, and multiple regression. The results showed that Korean adolescents were segmented into five groups : TV preference group, computer preference group, friends and family involvement group, homework and study preference group, and study institute involvement group). The five groups were significantly different in regard to body image pursuit, self-esteem, and self-identity. The body image pursuit, self-esteem, and self-identity of adolescents were significantly different in regard to each environmental factors, in each adolescent group.
This article is to provide information on school contexts for learning and instruction of mathematics based on the results and data of TIMSS 1999. It is organized around two major topics: teacher and students achievement, instruction and students achievement In this article the following summarizes the major findings. First, about $50\%$ of Korean eight-grade students were taught mathematics by teachers in their 30s, and this was higher than the international average. Most of teachers in Korea had certification of teachers majors in mathematics. Korean teachers reported relatively low confidence to teach mathematics compared to other counties. And Korean students taught by teachers who believes they were well prepared attained low achievement scores in contrast to international result. Second, korean teachers spent about $50\%$ of their formally scheduled school time teaching their subject, but is was below the international average. They spent much more time on administrative duties and other related activities than other countries. Korean students reported that most of their class time were spent lecture style presentations by teacher. Also they reported that teachers showed them how to do mathematics. The percentages of Korean students were placed on the low level of index of emphasis on mathematics reasoning and problem-solving. The students taught by teachers who emphasized reasoning and problem-solving showed low achievement scores in contrast with result of the previous literatures. Korean teachers didn't seem to emphasize homework and assessments. Internationally, teachers frequently used teacher-made objective tests and projects or practical exercises, but Korean teachers die less in most of categories. Based on the above findings, this article presents implications about teacher education, reduction of administrative working in teachers tasks, using everyday life topics, as learning materials, specialization instruction methods for each subject matter. This article is a kind of descriptive and factual in nature, but some attempt has been made to contextualize these results focused on teachers and instruction.
