Beef samples of loin eye area from New Zealand, USA and three quality grades of Hanwoo were analyzed using near infrared spectrophotometer with reference values from laboratory optical Chromameter to determine effective spectrum range and mathematical treatment for determination of color values. $R^2s$ of prediction models were not improved much by calibrating with whole light range (400~2500 nm) compared to using visible range (400~1100 nm). Standard errors of calibration and prediction were influenced by possible bias due to sampling non-homogeneous sample sources. However, partial differentiation in the first order was more stable against sampling biases than second derivatives of the spectra. Lightness value was little different among the five sample sources of beef. Beef samples from USA were brighter and more reddish than beefs of Hanwoo or from New Zealand (p<0.05). Yellowness of USA beef was the highest followed by beef from New Zealand, which was also higher than Hanwoo beefs of three quality grades (p<0.05).
This study analyzed the clothing color preferences of elementary students and the colors of clothes actually worn at school in terms of hue and tone. The sample consisted of 385 students enrolled at a public elementary school in Seoul. In this study, 120 color cards were used to guide the hue and tone. Descriptive statistics and chi-square analysis were used to analyze the data. The results were as follows. First, the most preferred clothing colors were achromatic, purple blue, red, and blue, while the most preferred tones were vivid, and pale. Second, the largest percentage of top colors worn at school were achromatic and vivid tones, while the largest percentage of bottom colors at school were achromatic and dark tones. Third, elementary boys preferred vivid and strong tones, while girls preferred pale and vivid tones. Fourth, students at higher grades preferred deeper and darker tones compared with students in lower grades.

Powder grades pre-alloyed with 1.5-3 wt% chromium can be successfully sintered at the conventional temperature $1120^{\circ}C$ although well-monitored sintering atmospheres are required to avoid oxidation. Mechanical properties of the Cr-alloyed PM grades are enhanced by a higher sintering temperature in the range $1120-1250^{\circ}C$, due to positive effects from pore rounding, increased density and more effective oxide reduction. Astaloy CrM (Fe-3 wt% Cr-0.5 wt% Mo) with 0.6 wt% graphite added obtains an ultimate tensile strength of 1470 MPa and an impact strength of 31 J at density $7.1\;g/cm^3$, after sintering at $1250^{\circ}C$ followed by cooling at $2.5^{\circ}C/s$ and tempering.

The purposes of this study are to find out differences of the causes of mathematics anxiety in elementary school students according to the Grades and sex, and to find out which causes have more influence on achievement of mathematics and how much it is. For this purposes, the problems of this study are defined as follows: First, are there any differences in the influences of each super-causes and sub-causes of mathematics anxiety according to the Grades? Second, are there any differences in the influences of each super-causes and sub-causes of mathematics anxiety according to the sex? Third, what relation do the super-causes of mathematics anxiety have to the achievement of mathematics? The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, mathematics anxiety is much more affected by the internal cause like the cause of student attitude than the external cause like the causes of circumstance and the cause of teacher. Second. mathematics anxiety is much more affected by a direct experience like the causes of a shortage of time and the causes of student interest than indirect experience like the causes of teacher's authority and the causes of the application of daily life. Third, the causes of circumstance and parent's attitude. its sub-cause, have greater influence on the female group than on the male group. Fourth, in the middle Gradess, the female group is more affected by the cause of student attitude and the cause of circumstance than the male group, but in the higher Grades. the differences disappear and those two become common causes of anxiety. Fifth, As the students go up to the next Grades in school, the cause of teacher, the characteristic of the curriculum and the cause of prejudice have more influence on the mathematics anxiety. Sixth, the causes of teacher, the causes of mathematical curriculum and the causes of student attitude among super-causes of mathematics anxiety have a negative effect on the achievement of mathematics. But the causes of circumstance have a positive effect on it. And also, the causes of mathematical curriculum among super-causes is much related to the causes of teacher and the causes of circumstance.
The purpose of this study was to diagnose nutritional status of vitamin A in female university students. Total of 59 female students in Korea National University of Education, Home Economics Education department were recruited for this study. Retinol and :t major carotenoids in serum($\beta$-carotene, u-carotene, lycopene and lutein) were analyzed by HPLC. The isocratic separation was performed in a $\mu$ Bondapak$^{TM}$$C_{18}$ stainless steel column with a solvent system of acetonitrile : methanol=85:15. The results of analysis were as follows: The average retinol concentration of 59 female students was 25.9$\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$. According to biochemical criteria for the assessment of vitamin A status, 18 of them belong to well-nourished and 6 students belong to adequate status. On the other hand, 8 students, 3 freshmen and 5 sophomore, were in critical vitamin A status. Retinol concentrations of junior and senior students were higher than those of freshmen and sophomore (P<0.001). The average concentrations of serum $\beta$-carotene, lycopene, and lutein were 1.9, 5.4, and 41.4$\mu\textrm{g}$/100$m\ell$, respectively. Serum $\beta$-carotene concentration of senior was significant. higher than those of freshman, sophomore and junior(p<0.001). Lycopene concentration of freshman was significant. lower than those of the other grades and that of senior was sig, higher than those of the other grades(p<0.05). Lutein concentrations of junior and senior were significant. higher than those of freshman and sophomore(p<0.001). The serum $\alpha$-carotene concentrations of the students were too low to analyze.e.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relations among the three factors: 1) characteristics of family, 2) nutrient intake status and 3) academic achievements. The subjects in this study were 7,698 boys and girls attending primary, middle and high schools in South Korea. The questionnaire was made and distributed to the student to answer the questions about family background and food intake status. Food intake frequency method was used to examine nutrient intake status. Academic achievement results of last semester were taken from students school records. Followings are the results of the study:1. Most of the mean nutrient intakes were above the Korean recommended dietary allowances. However, calcium, iron, and vitamin A intakes were below the Korean recommended dietary allowances. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the intake of these nutrients in these students to meet the RDA.2. Total amounts of food intake were decreasing in higher grades and food intake of boys was higher than that of girls. 3. Educational period of parents and economic status of family had grades influences on student's academic achievement and nutritional status. The students with parents of higher education and higher economic status had better academic achievement and balanced nutritional status. 4. When students were divided into three groups with respect to the percentage of recommended nutrient intake, the group with nutrient intake of 75-125% of RDA achieved better academic achievement than other groups. In conclusion, educational length and economic status of parents and optimal intake of nutrients (75-125% of RDA)by students significantly affected academic achievements of the students.
Vitamin contents of three grades of Korean laver high, medium and low were measured. They were cooked by different methods to examine changes in their vitamin content. Results of this experiment are as follows ; 1. Vitamin contained in loogr of laver amount to 13,200 I.U, for high grade, 16,100 for mediium grade, and 16,400 for low grade . The low -grade laver, which is interwoven with green laver, showed the highest vitamin content. 2. When laver was broiled sheet by sheet, its vitamin loss rate was 11% for high grade, 19% for medium grade, and 20% for low grade. Thus , the one with a higher vitamin content showed a higher vitamin loss rate. When two sheets of laver, which were put upon each other, were broiled, their vitamin loss rates were 2.3% for high grade, 1.73 % for medium grade, and 2.64% for low grade. Thus broiling laver at the unitof two to three sheets together is a way of decreasing the vitamin loss rate. 3. When laver was broiled with salt applied on its surface , its vitamin loss rate was 8.3% for high grade, 13% for medium grade, and 10.9% for low grade. When laver was broied at the unit of two sheets together after salt and sesame oil were added, its vitamin loss rate was 2.2% for high grade, 5.2% for medium grade, and 8.2% for low grade . The one with a higher vitamin content showed a higher vitamin loss rate. 4. When laver was mixed seasoned soysauce, its vitamin loss rate increased in process of time. In 48 hours after laver was mixed with seasoned soysauce , its vitamin loss rate read 24.2%, 27.1% and 35% respectively, for the three grades of laver. Thus the laver mixed with seasoned soysauce has to be used right after so cooked so as to obtained the highest possible vitamin content.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of self-regulation abilities on the relationships between parental attachment, peer attachment, teacher attachment and children's happiness in elementary school students in higher grades. The subjects of this study were selected from 4th-6th grade students residing in Dae-gu and Kyung-buk using questionnaires from May 1st to July 1st in 2014. The statistical analysis program(SPSS) was used for analyzing the collected data from the research in correlation analysis. To examine the mediating effects of self-regulation abilities on the relationship between parental attachment, peer attachment and teacher attachment and children's happiness, the Baron and Kenny(1986) model was used.. The results are as follows. First, in the case of father attachment, mother attachment, peer attachment, and teacher attachment, self-regulation abilities and children's happiness, as perceived by higher grade elementary school children positive correlations were observed. Second, in terms of relative effects of father attachment, mother attachment, peer attachment and teacher attachment on children's happiness, mother attachment was observed to have the most effect on children's happiness. Third, self-regulation abilities, as perceived by the children, mediated the effect of father attachment, mother attachment, peer attachment, and teacher attachment amongst higher grade elementary school students and the subsequent affect on children's happiness.
This study was conducted to provide information useful in developing a nursing curriculum. The sample consisted of 158 nursing students in Hanyang University and 34 faculty members who has taught them in their college & the practical area. Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire, which consisted of general characteristics of the students & their self-concept, teacher's perception of student's professional roles. The results are summarized as follows; 1. General characteristics of the students When the students applied for the university, they decided what they would specialized in. Because the motive of application for their major was simply based on their high school records, they were admitted to their university without previous knowledge of their major. The reason why they wanted to tranfer to another course after the admission was the same as above. The level of satisfaction of their major was the highest in Freshman, but in other grades the higher the;, grades were, the more they satisfied with their major and they had a better prospects about their speciality. 2. Self-concept in profermance for their major Self-concept in horne aspects was more positive perception than in social aspects & self control aspects. It resulted from tile fact that all students were females and the nursing uniqueness was based on the spirit of humanity & service. The students who had graduated from the high school in rural area wanted to tranfer to another course and taken counsel their personal problems with their parents had higher self-concept in horne aspects. As their grades were higher, the self-concept in social aspects bacame higher. The students who were satisfied with their major and took counsel their personal problems with their parents had more positive self - concept in social aspects. Self-concept in self control aspects was lower than other aspects. The students who didn't take counsel their problems with their parents, were burdened with their educational expenses and their curriculum had more negative self-concept in self control aspects. Therefore the university should be concerned about student's welfare and provide detailed orientation about their curriculum. 3. Teacher's perception about learner's professional role The role model of democratic group leader, role models for learners facilitator in a students' reach for knowledge and teaching based on soundly researched theory showed more positive perception than other factors. Their mean values were over 4. 32. The professionalism of allnurshing area, reinforcement with reinforcement for learning, nursing as part of the meaningful context of the whole showed nagative perception. Their mean values were below 3. 00. Therefore the nurse as a teacher should try to promote the locus of nursing profession and participate in their research actively.

This study was aimed to elucidate the changes in heart rate variability during treadmill exercise at various speeds and grades by spectral analysis. Thirty-three untrained male college students aged $20{\sim}26\;yr $were employed to exercise on a treadmill using 4 speeds (4.02, 5.47, 6.76 and 8.05 km/h) and 6 grades (0, 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20%). A fixed speed was selected for each session with the grade increased every 3 min. The electrocardiogram, respiration and the stepping activity were continuously recorded through an A/D converter system on the computer disk. Power spectra of heart rate variability (RRV) were obtained by use of a fast Fourier transform algorithm. The frequency domain was divided into 3 bands: $VLF\;(0{\sim}0.04\;Hz),\;LF\;(0.04 {\sim}0.15\;Hz)\;and\;HF\;(0.15{\sim}1.00\;Hz).$ Heart rate was $74.4{\pm}2.1\;beats/min$ at rest and showed a steady increase during treadmill exercise with increasing speed and grade up to $196.7{\pm}5.0\;beats/min.$ Total power of HRV was $35.0{\pm}6.7\;(beats/min)^{2}$ at rest and progressively decreased during exercise down to $1.9{\pm}0.3\;(beats/min)^{2}.$ The %VLF power of HRV was $34.5{\pm}3.7\; %$ at rest and showed no significant change during exercise except for a decrease observed at the highest intensity of exercise. The %LF power was $44.1{\pm}3.0\;%$ at rest and showed a progressive decrease down to $4.5{\pm}1.0\;%$ during those stages of exercise where heart rate was over 135 beats/min. The %HF power was $21.4{\pm}2.9\;%$ at rest and showed a progressive increase up to $87.1{\pm}6.7\;%$ during higher intensity exercise where heart rate was over 165 beats/min. Peak frequency of HF band was $0.200{\pm}0.018\;Hz$ at rest and was shifted to higher frequencies up to $0.909{\pm}0.048\;Hz$ at heart rates greater than 135 beats/min. Respiratory frequency was $18.0{\pm}1.5$ breaths/min at rest and significantly increased during exercise up to $53.0{\pm}3.7$ breaths/min. Stride frequency during treadmill exercise showed an increasing tendency with increasing speed from $55.6{\pm}0.9$ steps/min at 4.02 km/h to $81.2{\pm}0.6$ at 8.05 km/h. It was concluded that total power of HRV decreased progressively with increasing exercise intensity due to the withdrawal of parasympathetic activity. At higher exercise intensity, % LF power decreased and %HF power increased with its peak frequency shifted to higher values in a progressive mode with increasing speed and grade, reflecting a readjustment in the cardiovascular system and the increased respiration and its rate, respectively.
