The cause of software crisis is that software quality and productivity can not meet the requirement of software market. In order to resolve the software crisis, there are many approaches to be proposed. Software reuse is one of the high potential approaches to improve software quality and productivity. Some high-tech countries (like USA, Japan) have proposed and studied the topics of software reuse in 1970 and got several results. In software development procedure, the products of detailed design and implement phases are simple, definite and suitable for reuse. In this paper, the necessary documents of reusable software component will be proposed, and how to select and evaluate the software components with high reuse potential and high quality will be discussed and recommended.
This experiment was carried out to investigate the high-frequency gluing characteristics of poly vinyl acetate emulsion adhesive(PVAc) on MDF edge-glued boards. The edge-glued boards were glued lengthwise with butt, scarf, or finger joint. The wastes of MDF boards were reused as board materials. The obtained results are summarized as follows; the bending strength of edge-glued MDF increased slightly with the HF heating time, but the economically desirable heating time was 6 minutes. The bending and tensile strength of edge-glued MDF were high with scarf, finger and butt joint, in order. The strength of finger jointed MDF showed 80% of scarf jointed MDF. The effects of location of finger joints on the bending strength of edge-glued MDF were larger than those of the numbers of finger joints. The bending strength of edge-glued MDF with one joint on the middle position showed 40% decrease in comparison with non-jointed MDF.

MCM technology languished troughout most of the 1990's due to high costs resulting from low yields and issues with known god die. During the last five years of the decade new developments in chip scale packages and high density, build up multi-layer printed wiring boards created new opportunities to design and produce ultra miniaturized modules using conventional surface mount manufacturing capabilities. Focus on the miniaturization of substrate based packages such as ball grid arrays (BGAs) resulted in chip scale packages (CSPs) offering many of the benefits of flip chip along with the handling, testing, manufacturing and reliability capabilities of packaged deviced. New developments in the PWB industry sought to reduce the size, weight, thickness and cost of high density interconnect (HDI) substrates. Shrinking geometries of vias and new constructions significantly increased the interconnect density available for MCM-L applications. This paper describes the most promising CSP and HDI technologies for portable products, high performance computing and dense multi-chip modules.

Purpose - The aim of this work is to study the reorientation that the export industrial sectors in Costa Rica have experienced during the last 20 years. Research design, data, methodology - The study employs the Cluster Analysis with the export data (20 years of cut-off period) from Costa Rica to the U.S-market. To make the predictions, the technique of the time series was used, with official data (from 2001 to 2010) from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Results - The Cluster Analysis, show how the economic sectors of traditional products exports of Costa Rica have progressively become in exporters of non-traditional products, meanwhile, the time series confirms that this trend will continue, at least during the next five years. Conclusions - The industry of traditional products exports of Costa Rica (dressmaking, vegetables, coffee, mate, species, etc.) will progressively become in exporters of non- traditional products with a high-tech component (i.e., mechanical equipment and devices, electronic devices and medical equipment),as a consequence of the Chinese (Costa Rica's main competitor) economy's presence in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OCDE). This fact has enabled the potential improvement of Costa Rica's international competitiveness in the U.S. market.
Handling the manufacured goods is the most cost-consuming task in material handling system in wooden furniture industries. Fully automated warehouse for cartoned goods of a furniture manufacturing company was analized to provide plant engineers and managers with some important informations on the utility and profitability of the automated storage and retrieval system(AS/RS). Process-oriented simulation modeling tech-niques were used to describe the system and to propose some alternatives to promote the efficiency of AS/RS. Simulation report could be inter-preted as follows: 1. Warehouse for the furniture goods must be designed in accordance with reliable material handling program and constructed with suitable equipments depending on the specification of packed products. 2. An excess of palletized products induced the indigestion and the inefficiency of AS/RS of the furniture industry and put this high-costly system into the shade. 3. Overcrowded AS/RS of the furniture factories could regain its material handling function by cutting down the deposit of products into the automated warehouse. For this purpose, reducing the regular output and direct delivering the outside products to the destination should be considered as the definite counterplan. And additional operation of conventional handy warehouse was also expected to improve the efficiency of main AS/RS.

This article provides a survey of wet (aqueous) methods for recovery, separation, and purification of uranium from fission products in carbonate solutions during the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel and methods for removal of radionuclides from alkaline radioactive waste. The main methods such as selective direct precipitation, ion exchange, and solvent extraction are considered. These methods were compared and evaluated for reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel in carbonate media according to novel alternative non-acidic methods and for treatment processes of alkaline radioactive waste.

Application of nanotechnology can be used to tailor made cementitious composites owing to small dimension and physical behaviour of resulting hydration products. Because of high aspect ratio and extremely high strength, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are perfect reinforcing materials. Hence, there is a great prospect to use CNTs in developing new generation cementitious materials. In the present paper, a parametric study has been conducted on cementitious composites reinforced by two types of multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) designated as Type I CNT (10-20 nm outer dia.) and Type II CNT (30-50 nm outer dia.) with various concentrations ranging from 0.1% to 0.5% by weight of cement. To evaluate important properties such as flexural strength, strain to failure, elastic modulus and modulus of toughness of the CNT admixed specimens at different curing periods, flexural bending tests were performed. Results show that composites with Type II CNTs gave more strength as compared to Type I CNTs. The highest increase in strength (flexural and compressive) is of the order of 22% and 33%, respectively, compared to control samples. Modulus of toughness at 28 days showed highest improvement of 265% for Type II 0.3% CNT composites. It is obvious that an optimum percentage of CNT could exists for composites to achieve suitable reinforcement behaviour and desired strength properties. Based on the parametric study, a tentative optimum CNT concentration (0.3% by weight of cement) has been proposed. Scanning electron microscope image shows perfect crack bridging mechanism; several of the CNTs were shown to act as crack arrestors across fine cracks along with some CNTs breakage.
Bacillus subtilis natto producing high level of a fibrinolytic enzyme was selected and Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$ was manufactured by fermentation and purification. It was performed the evaluation of the antithrombotic effect of Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$ (20,000 FU/g) with rat blood plasma. The maximum aggregation (inhibition ratio) was 71% (0%), 69% (2.8%), 62% (12.7%), 16% (77.5%) and 9% (87.3%), respectively, in the order of 0, 5, 10, 50 and 100 mg/mL of Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$ solutions. Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$ had antithrombotic effect, which was associated with the suppression of collagen-induced platelet aggregation. Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$ in the topic of the FDP (fibrinogen degradation products) in blood coagulation tests showed a significant increasing trend. And based on the daily record of meal 39 people of ITT (what ?) group consisted with 19 people of NP (what ?) group and 20 people of PN (what ?) group except four people, two people who took vitamin K affecting the experiment and two people who took alcohol, finding to be taken Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$ showed an increase in the FDP value after four weeks. In addition, FDP value of 41 people of ITT group except two people having metabolic syndrome was increased by Ultra Nattokinase$^{(R)}$.
With the introduction of high-tech industries, these days textile products used as advanced materials of semiconductor, transport and medical fields. It was concerned with environmental problem in textile industry lately. So the problem is receiving careful study for high effectiveness and high efficiency of filter media made by nonwoven fabric to get rid of a pollutant. PET filter media produced from conventional methods can not precisely filtrate small particles, because conventional PET filter media has too large pore size. (omitted)
Single households currently account for 26.5% of all households and their number is expected to continue to rise, reaching 34.5% by 2035. An analysis of the consumption trends and needs of single households shows that they are rising as a new consumer group with a focus on investment on the individual and favouring: small but high-tech products: efficient use of limited resources: safety and peace of mind: self-improvement and leisure. Products which meet such demands are having an impact on the growth of home-furnishing market. An analysis of companies in Korea's home-furnishing market, with examples like the lifestyle company IKEA, shows a variety of brands such as SPA brand, furniture specialist, distributor and character products. And yet most are OEM products which lack differentiated product lines and compete with similar display and distribution structure. We needs the Single household consumption tendency of home-furnishing market and differentiation strategy through product analysis. In order to increase the value of companies in the home-furnishing market, in addition to differentiated design, product competitiveness must aspire to higher customer satisfaction with easy assembly, innovation in logistics, innovative sales methods such as virtual-reality simulation for products and space, individually-tailored furniture for the needs of single household and products which combine smart technology. For home-grown home-furnishing brands to have competitiveness, they must leverage on the strengths of the industry, offering differentiated and competitive products in a wider range of areas with convergence functions as well as differentiation in consumer interface and application of advancing technology; in-depth product research is called for.
