IPMSM이 적용된 차세대 고속철도 견인시스템의 전류 및 속도 제어기 설계 (Design of the Current and Speed Controller for the IPMSM based High Speed Railway Traction System)

  • 본 논문에서는 차세대 고속철도에 적용하기 위한 IPMSM 견인시스템의 전류 및 속도제어기를 설계한다. 차세대 고속철도는 동력분산식 시스템으로 개발되며 고효율화를 위해 IPMSM 적용 견인전동기를 사용하였고 전동기 제어를 위해 벡터제어 기법을 사용한다. 이 때 벡터제어 루프내 제어기 이득 값은 IPMSM의 과도특성과 속도제어 능력에 영향을 미치기 때문에 알맞은 이득 설계가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 IPMSM 적용 차세대 고속철도용 견인전동기의 제어기를 설계하여 Matlab/Simulink 기반 모의시험 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 이용한 시험 결과를 분석하였다.

  • In oder to develope a train system for parcel service of high speed railway, which had been proposed for the operation of a high speed train, its conceptual design was build. Through this system, we are able to expect the fulfillment of customer needs for high speed rail market segments, and enhancement for cost-effective rail network operation of the mixed traffic on infrastructure cost-reduction in national logistics.

  • As the railway becomes higher, the reliable stability and riding comfort of higher railway are required. To improve the riding comfort of high-speed trains, it is very helpful to use active suspension system for railway. In Japan, the high-speed train, Shinkansen has adopted semi-active suspension system and now it is running in the main trunk. In this paper, the authors introduce several technical trends of vibration control methods of Japanese Shinkansen. And the installation of semi-active suspension to HSR 350x and the test result of test run on the Kyoung-Bu high speed ling are also explained. After development of HSR 350x, new R&D national project of high speed train is progressed by Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs. This project is the development of Electric Multiple Unit of high speed train with 400km/h of maximum test speed. These result would be helpful to progress next generation high speed project.

  • LTE-R(: Long Term Evolution-Railway)은 고속열차시스템 운영을 위한 필수 기술로서 LTE를 기반으로 한다. 고속열차 이동속도는 상용인 400[㎞/h] 급을 넘어 최근에는 600[km/h] 급으로 향하고 있다. 고속열차 시스템 통신기술로서 LTE-R은 열차의 이동속도에 적합한 끊김없는 통신을 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위한 LTE-R 핸드오버 기술로서 예측기반 핸드오버를 제시하고 그 성능을 분석한다. 본 논문은 NS(:Network SImulator)-3에 기반한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 사용하여 수행한다.

  • Recently, as the feasibility study shows that trans-Korea railway and trans-continental railway are advantageous, interest in high speed railway system is increasing. Because railway vehicle is environment-friendly and safe compared with airplane and ship, its market-sharing increases gradually. Korean High Speed Train has been developed by KRRI for last 7 years to satisfy the need. Korean High Speed Train (350km/h), composed of 2 power cars, 2 motorized car and 3 trailer cars, has been developed and is under trial test. To verify the design requirements for the functions and traction performances of the train, KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute) decided to evaluate traction performances of the train during trial test. For this purpose, torque, velocity, voltage and current must be measured. KRRI has developed a measurement system that can measure vast and various signals effectively. In this paper, we introduce traction performances of Korean High Speed Train. The traction measurement items are focused on the verification of motor block performances. Motor block consists of 2 motors. By this test, we verified traction performances of Korean High Speed Train

  • The opening of high speed railway upgraded our land transportation speed limit, causing lots of changes including living and culture and also paving the way for stepping up the railway technology. However, it is also true that we had a limit to adopt the existing railway system structured for 150km/h to the new structure requiring a higher speed of approximate 300km/h due to technological, based on the time and experience. More importantly, heading toward a step of operating such a high speed railway system, it has been practically and quickly proposed that the railway needs high speed railway engineering, maintenance technology of parts of the vehicles to have a stable maintenance foundation and localization of major parts. Therefore, this study was intended to research the actual displacement characteristics in runningg on an actual track for the purpose of developing the protective and maintenance technology of springs and dampers, which are core parts among suspension elements of a high speed railway vehicle. For this, it was researched the actual vehicle test and its interpretation centered on primary spring, which is used for the suspension system of a bogie, body-body dampers and body-bogie yaw damper. Also, to analyze the displacement characteristics of suspension system in the actual conditions of high speed railway vehicles, a vehicle‘s dynamic characteristics was analyzed and interpreted. At the same time, a tester for measuring the actual displacement of such suspension elements was designed and attached to actual vehicles, to measure the displacements that occur in running it on the Seoul-Busan line, one of major lines serviced by KTX. The displacement data gained from the test with actual vehicles was analyzed for its displacement distribution depending on the service sections and frequency, with which the valuable data necessary for any potential breakdown or maintenance in the future could be obtained.

  • To improve the riding comfort and to increase the speed of high-speed railway, it needs active suspension system for railway more and more. In Korea, Korean Train Express (KTX) was opened to commercial traffic 2years ago. Korea High-speed Railway (HSR 350x) is being developed and succeeded 350km/h test run. With the increase of the speed, the vibration control of the high-speed railway becomes important to meet high ride quality. In this paper, we suggest the install of lateral damper to HSR 350x. The result shows better ride quality.

  • 본 논문은 동력분산식 차세대고속열차가 최고속도 400km/h 이상으로 개발됨에 따라 차량의 최고속도 시험에 대비하여 호남고속철도 건설구간에서 인프라시스템 기술개발이 필요하여 국내에서는 유일하게 현재 호남고속철도 건설구간 중 28km 구간에서 400km/h급 고속철도 인프라를 구축하였다. 또한 계측장비의 설치 및 모니터링 시스템을 설치하여 선로의 지속적인 모니터링이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 이를 통해, 보다 포괄적이며 장기적인 관점에서 통합모니터링의 요구사항과 향후 연구방향을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • This paper proposes the Systematic Design Methodology of the Korean High Speed Train. High Speed Train does not operate in isolation and is a part of a rail system which is influenced through input and output effects from the environment and from the neighbouring system. To fullfil its overall desired function, such input and output relationships between the systems must be considered in the system boundary conditions. Therefore, the overall interrelationship of all these effects has to be carefully considered during the design process. Here proposed methodology may provide a guide line and criteria for the systematic problem solving method of that highly complex High Speed Train System.
