An Impact Position Control of the Ink Droplet of Inkjet Printer

  • In this paper, a position control scheme of the ink droplet is presented for the high image quality and print speed inkjet printer. The proposed scheme estimates the impact position and compensates it by control of the fire strobe time based on the dynamic equations describing the moving trajectory of the ink droplet. Compared to the conventional fire strobe control which is based on the simple synchronization the fire strobe with the position signal of the inkjet nozzle, the proposed control scheme provides more accurate impact position control during the carrier is moving with accelerated or decelerated speed as well as constant speed. The availability of printing during the acceleration and deceleration states of the carrier moving enables the print speed up and the frame size down which means the cost down.

블랙박스 영상 분석을 통한 차량 충돌 속도 연산 알고리즘에 대한 융복합 연구 (An Estimating Algorithm of Vehicle Collision Speed Through Images of Blackbox)

  • 에어백이 작동되는 중고속 추돌 사고의 경우 에어백 작동 전후의 차량 데이터가 차량의 EDM(Event Driven Memory)에 저장되어 그 추돌 속도를 쉽게 알 수 있다. 하지만 에어백이 작동하지 않는 저속영역에서 추돌하는 경우 그 속도를 산정하기가 어렵다. 또한 저속이라 하더라도 추돌속도에 따라 운전자의 부상 정도가 크게 영향을 받기 때문에 그 속도의 산정이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 블랙박스에 저장된 영상 이미지를 분석하여 저속영역의 추돌속도를 연산하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 전기모터로 와이어로프를 이용하여 차량을 견인하는 방식으로 저속의 후방추돌 상황을 정확하게 재현하면서 다양한 차종과 속도에 대해 실험을 수행하였다. 이 때 블랙박스의 영상 이미지에서 두 차량의 거리가 좁아지는 비율과 전방 차량의 번호판 길이가 증가하는 비율이 동일함을 이용하여 추돌속도를 정밀하게 계산할 수 있다. 즉, 미리 측정된 초기거리와 블랙박스의 영상에서의 번호판의 길이를 초기조건으로 설정하여 본 연구의 계산 알고리즘을 적용하면 저속 추돌 속도를 정확하게 산정할 수 있다. 직선 추돌사고에는 본 연구의 결과가 그대로 적용되지만 각도를 두고 추돌하는 경우에는 별도의 고려가 필요하다.

  • 휴대폰 및 휴대기기의 낙하 충격에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있는 상황에서 솔더 볼 접합부의 낙하 충격특성은 패드의 종류와 리플로우 횟수에 영향을 받게 되어 이에 따른 신뢰성 평가가 요구된다. 이와 관련한 평 가법으로 일반적으로는 JEDEC에서 제정한 낙하충격 시험법을 사용하고 있으나 이 방법은 고 비용과 장시간이 소모되는 문제가 있어 본 연구에서는 낙하충격 특성을 간접적으로 평가하는 시험항목인 고속 전단시험을 실시하여 리플로우 횟수에 의해 성장하는 금속간 화합물 층과 OSP(Organic Solderability Preservative), ENIG(Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) 및 ENEPIG(Electroless Nickel Electroless Palladium Immersion Gold) 등 표면처리에 따른 고속 전단특성을 비교, 분석하였다. 그 결과 리플로우 횟수가 증가함에 따라 IMC 층의 성장으로 고속 전단강도와 충격 에너지 값은 점차 감소하였다. 리플로우 횟수가 1회일 때는 ENEPIG, ENIG, OSP 순으로 고속 전단강도와 충격 에너지 값이 높았고 8회일 때는 ENEPIG, OSP, ENIG 순으로 충격 에너지 값이 높게 측정되었다.

고속 충격을 받는 취성재 평판의 관통파괴 강도 (A Study on the Penetration Fracture Strength of Fragile Plates subjected to High Speed Impact)

  • In this study, comparison of theoretical solutions with experimental results is examined through fracture conditions for the case of float glasses subjected static loading. The range of fracture generation limits and critical penetration energies are solved according to the impactor mass under the high velocity, and analytical method of fracture strength and penetration strength are presented. Also, fracture patterns are investigated according to impact velocities. The results obtained from this study are as follows ; 1) Radial cracks are generated from the loading point regardless of plate thickness in the case of the plate subjected to the static loading. In the case of high-speed impact, dimensions of ring cracks become to smaller and length of radial cracks becomes shorter with the rapidity of impact velocity. 2) Kinetic change volume of collision after/before is constant regardless of velocities over the range of critical penetration velocity. 3) Although the same impact energy is working, the critical penetration energy is increased with the shorter of impactor mass. 4) Although the same impact energy is working, the penetration fracture of lighter Impactor mass is generated more than that of heavier impactor mass, and the impulse of lighter impacter mass appear more than that of heavier impactor mass. Therefore, the penetration fracture in the case of greater impulse is generated earlier regardless of the of the dimensions of Impact loading.

Pacing 적용을 통한 High-Speed TCP 프로토콜의 성능 개선 방안 (Performance Enhancement of High-Speed TCP Protocols using Pacing)

  • 지금의 high-speed TCP 프로토콜은 공정성과 TCP friendliness에 심각한 문제가 있으며, 이는 high-speed TCP의 도입에 있어 중요한 문제가 된다. 본 논문에서는 high-speed TCP의 버스터한 특성을 줄여 TCP friendliness와 공평성 향상시키는 방안으로 high-speed TCP에 pacing 적용을 제시하고 성능 분석을 수행하였다. Pacing은 TCP 송신원의 수정만으로 적용 가능하며 TCP 혼잡 제어 방식과는 독립적으로 동작하기 때문에 도입이 쉽다는 장점을 가진다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안된 방안은 high-speed TCP의 버스터한 특성을 효과적으로 줄이고 성능 저하 없이 기존의 high-speed TCP에 비해 향상된 TCP friendliness와 RTT에 따른 공정성을 제공함을 보였다.

강제 입수에 의한 슬래밍 현상에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Slamming Phenomenon by Forced Impact)

  • This paper presents the experimental results on slamming phenomenon. The air pressure cylinder was used to ensure repeatability of the impact. The results showed that the adopted experimental technique was excellent in terms of repeatability, compared to that of the free drop tests. The pressure time histories, magnitude of peak pressure and the behavior of jetspray were obtained. The flat specimen was tested for various incident angles. To estimate the incident speed of the specimen, a high-speed camera was used. The high-speed camera was also a useful tool in understanding the behavior.

착지 시 달리기 속도 증가가 충격 쇼크 흡수에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Increased Running Speed on the Magnitude of Impact Shock Attenuation during Ground Contact)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of increased running speed on the magnitude of impact shock attenuation in high frequency (9~20 Hz) at support phase on the treadmill running. Method: Twenty-four healthy male heel-toe runners participated in this study. Average age, height, mass, and preference running speed were 23.43±3.78 years, 176.44±3.38 cm, 71.05±9.04 kg, and 3.0±0.5 m/s, respectively. Three triaxial accelerometer (Noraxon, USA) were mounted to the tuberosity of tibia, PSIS (postero-superior iliac spine), and forehead to collect acceleration signals, respectively. Accelerations were collected for 20 strides at 1,000 Hz during treadmill (Bertec, USA) running at speed of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 m/s. Power Spectrum Density (PSD) of three acceleration signals was calculated to use in transfer function describing the gain and attenuation of impact shock between the tibia and PSIS, and forehead. One-way ANOVA were performed to compare magnitude of shock attenuation between and within running speeds. The alpha level for all statistical tests was .05. Results: No significant differences resulted for magnitude of the vertical and resultant impact shock attenuation between the tibia and PSIS, and forehead between running speeds. However, significant differences within running speed were found in magnitude of the vertical shock attenuation between tibia and PSIS, tibia and forehead at speed of 2.5, 3.0 m/s, respectively. Conclusion: In conclusion, it might be conjectured that muscles covering the knee and ankle joints and shoe's heel pad need to strengthen to keep the lower extremities from injuries by impact shock at relatively fast running speed that faster than preferred running speed.

고속철도교량의 동적안정성 평가연구 (An Evaluation Study on the Dynamic Stability of High Speed Railway Bridges)

  • In the design of high speed railway bridges is important a impact factor as a tool of assessing the dynamic capacitys of bridges. However, the impact factor(or dynamic amplification factor, DAF) of high speed railway bridges may essentially be changeable because the dynamic response is affected by the long train length(380 m), number of axles and high speed velocity(300 km/h)(Korea Train eXpress: KTX). Therefore, on this study will be examined the dynamic capacity and stability of the typical PSC Box Girder of high speed railway bridge. At first, the static/dynamic analysis is performed considering the axle load line of KTX based upon existing references. Additionally, the KTX moving load is transformed into the dynamic time series load for conducting various parameter studies like axle length, analytical time increment, velocity of KTX. The time history analysis is repeatedly performed to get maximum dynamic responce by varying axle load length, analytical time increment, velocity of KTX. The study shows that dynamic analysis has resonable results with optimal axle load length(0.6 m) and time increment(0.01 sec.) and maximum DAF and dynamic resonance happens at 270 km/h velocity of KTX.

  • The mechanical characteristics of AC4C Aluminum Casting Alloy were investigated by tensile test and impact test. Based on the tensile test' s result, we found that the yield strength of a high speed was about 10% higher than that of a low speed test and the maximum rupture strain mostly occurred in low speed tensile test. The impact energy of curved surface specimen was higher than that of plane surface specimen that can be measured in impact test.

  • High speed railroad noise is one of the main causes of environmental impact. An estimate of the relevant noise levels is usually required in order to evaluate the noise barrier and the anti-noise trailer. This paper introduce the test procedure and the estimate for HST noise. The aim of this is to measure, by means of a test, the level of acoustic pressure present during the passing of a KTX(Korea Train Express), in order to satisfy the contractual requirements and the noise criteria. A number of measurements are carried out in order to estimate noise impact by HST along test track.
