Populus alba X glandulosa의 생장과 토양인자화의 관계 (The Soil Factors Affecting the Growth of Populus alba X glandulosa)

  • P. alba x glandulosa의 생장은 산록부에서는 양호하나 산정부로 올라갈수록 생장이 떨어지는 원인을 구명코자 생장과 토양 인자간의 상관관계를 조사하였다. 1. 각조림지는 연평균생장량으로 산정부는 수고 0.7m 인데 비하여 산록부는 1.29m 로서 184$\%$나 생장이 빠르고 직경생장에도 218$\%$나 빠르다. 또한 산록부에서 산정까지의 사거리가 길수록 산복까지 생장이 비슷하여 생장의 감소율이 완만하고 사거리가 짧을수록 생장의 감소율이 급격하여 산록부에만 생장이 좋고 그위는 불량하다. 2. 토양함수율과 수고 및 직경과의 상관계수는 각각 r=0.76, r=0.71로서 높은 상관관계를 나타내고 또한 토심과 수고(r=0.65) 및 직경(r=0.79)과도 높은 상관관계를 나타내며 경사도와 생장은 부의 상관을 나타내고 있다. 이와같이 이들 세인자가 생장에 가장 영향을 많이 주는 것으로 생각되며 대체로 산록부는 토심이 깊고 경사가 완만하여 토양수분이 높았다. 3. 유기질과 전질소도 수고 및 직경생장과 각각 상관관계가 있으며 5$\%$의 유의성이 있었고 산록부에 유기질과 전질소의 함량이 높았다. 4. 가리와 수고생장고, 칼슘 및 토양산도는 직격생장과 각각 상관관계가 있으며 이들 요인들은 생장에 어느정도 영향을 주는 것으로 사료되며 5. 그러나 유효인산, 마그네슘, 망강은 생장과 상관관계가 없었다.

창포(Acorus calamus L. )뿌리 건조분말의 식품학적 성분 (II)지방산, 유기산, 무기질, 비타민 C, 총페놀 및 사포닌 (Food Nutritional Compositions in Dried Powder of Root of Acorns calamus L. (II) Fatty Acids, Organic Acids, Minerals, Vitamin C, Total Phenolics and Saponin)

  • 창포의 뿌리를 주근(main root)과 측근(lateral root)으로 분리하여 3$0^{\circ}C$ 열풍건조분말의 주된 포화지방산으로는 caprylic acid, pentadecanoic acid, stearic acid 및 heneicosanoic acid 등 10종이 확인되었고, 이들은 각각 주근과 측근의 경우 caprylic acid가 28.35%, 31.44%이었고, 불포화지방산으로는 linoleic acid, palmitoleic acid 및 linolenic acid 등 6종이 확인되었고 이들 중 가장 높은 함유량을 보인 linoleic acid가 주근에 25.55%, 측근에 23.43%가 함유되어 있었다. 주요 유기산으로는 주근과 측근에 succinic acid, malic acid 및 citric acid 등으로 구성되어 있었고, 특히 succinic acid가 주근과 측근에서 각각 2,790 mg%, 2,630 mg%로 높은 함량을 함유하고 있었다. 무기질로는 K, Ca, p, Mg, Na, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu 등 9종을 함유하고 있었으며, 창포뿌리의 주된 무기질로 확인된 K의 함량은 측근에 454 mg%로 주근의 194 mg% 보다 매우 높은 함량을 나타내었다. Ascorbic acid 함량은 주근과 측근에 각각 113.8 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g, 125.1 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g을 함유하고 있었고, 총페놀성 물질 함량은 주근에 463 mg%, 측근에 474 mg%로 매우 높은 수준이었으며 조사포닌의 함량은 주근에 2.51%, 측근에 3.39%로 높은 함량을 보였다.

충남지역 중학생의 채소 섭취실태와 식습관에 관한 연구 (A Study on Vegetable Intakes and Dietary Habits of Middle School Students in Chungnam)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for nutritional education for juveniles' desirable vegetable intake by analyzing their vegetable intake, dietary habit and nutrient intakes according to gender of middle school students in Chungnam. The average age of the subjects was 15.0, height was 162.5 cm, weight was 53.5 kg and their average BMI was $20.1kg/m^2$. The frequency of eating supper in girls was lower than that in boys. Many respondents answered that a meal-time was 10~20 minutes. Without gender difference, more than 90% respondents thought that vegetables were good for health. As for the preference of vegetable, subjects responded, "I am in the middle", "I like them", "I dislike them", "I like them very much", and "I dislike them very much" in order, without gender difference. The frequent eaten leaf vegetable was Chinese cabbage, the frequent eaten fruit vegetable was cucumber, and the frequent eaten root vegetable was radish. The favorite leaf vegetable was lettuce, the favorite fruit vegetable was corn, and the favorite root vegetable was sweet potato. The preference degrees of taro and ginger were very low. The reasons why they liked a vegetable were that it was delicious and they ate it at home often. In addition, the reason why they disliked vegetables was that they are untasty in flavor or texture and it showed that many students had a prejudice that vegetables were untasty. The intakes of plant protein, dietary fiber, ash and INQs of dietary fiber, calcium, vitamin C, folate, vitamin E in the group with high preference of vegetables were significantly higher than those of low preference group. The study results indicate that intake frequency and preference of root vegetables in juveniles are low and the major reasons of these results are taste and eating experience of vegetables. In addition, the intake amounts of dietary fiber and folate are poor in the subjects with low preference of vegetables. Therefore, families and schools should make efforts that juveniles can recognize the importance of vegetable intake and select various vegetables properly through the development of cooking methods and systematic nutrition education.

천연수액으로 제조한 간장의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Kanjang(Soy Sauce) Fermentation with Bamboo Sap, Xylem Sap and Gorosoe)

  • 우리나라에서 수액으로 채취하는 수종인 대나무, 참다래 나무, 고로쇠나무의 수액을 이용하여 메주에 천일염과 죽염을 섞어 재래식 제조방법으로 3개월 발효 숙성시킨 후 간장의 품질특성을 비교 분석하였다. pH는 천일염으로 제조한 참다래수액 간장이 높았으며, 색도는 일반물로 제조한 간장보다 수액으로 제조한 간장의 색도(명도)가 높았고, 식염과 아미노태질소 함량은 참다래수액 간장이 높게 나타났다. 수액종류에 따른 간장의 유기산 조성은 malic acid가 대부분이었고, 무기물은 대나무수액에 천일염으로 제조한 간장이 일반물로 제조한 간장에 비해 칼슘함량이 4배정도 높았다. 수액간장의 총 아미노산함량은 일반물로 제조한 간장에 비해 참다래수액간장이 2배, 고로쇠수액간장이 1.4배로 높았고, alanine과 glutamic acid 함량이 가장 많았다. 또한 수액으로 제조한 간장의 항산화능을 살펴보면 천일염으로 제조한 대나무수액에 천일염으로 제조한 간장이 우수하였고, 관능검사 결과 고로쇠수액에 천일염으로 제조한 간장의 기호도가 높게 나타났다.

여수 및 제주지역 자생 양하의 영양성분 분석비교 (Comparison of Nutritional Constituents of Native Yangha (Zingiber mioga) in Yeosu and Cheju area)

  • 여수지역과 제주지역에서 자생하고 있는 양하를 2004년 9월에 구입하여 일반성분, 무기질 함량 및 구성 아미노산함량을 측정하고, 휘발성 성분을 측정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 양하의 일반성분에서 병균 수분함량은 94.85%, 조단백 함량은 0.62%, 조 지방 함량은 0.24%, 당질함량은 3.30% 회분 함량은 0.92%, 섬유소 함량은 0.74%로 나타났으며, 전체적으로 제주지역이 여수지역에 비하여 약간 높게 나타났으나 수분은 제주지역이, 회분은 여수지역이 유의적으로 높게 나타났으며 그 외 성분은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 무기질 함량에서 양하의 평균 칼슘 함량은 100g당 40.57mg 마그네슘의 평균 함량은 55.60mg/100g, 나트륨의 함량은 26.14mg/100g, 칼륨의 함량은 598.58mg/100g, 철분 함량은 4.14mg/100g, 구리의 평균 함량은 0.26mg/100g, 망간의 평균 함량은 0.26mg/100g으로 나타났다. 무기질 역시 제주지역이 여수지역에 비하여 높게 나타났으며 특히 유의성을 나타낸 것은 마그네슘, 나트륨, 철분이었다. 구성 아미노산 함량은 serine, leucine을 제외하고는 제주지역이 여수지역에 비하여 약간 높게 나타났으며, 평균적으로 양하의 아미노산 중 glutamic acid가 가장 높았고, 다음으로 aspartic acid. valine 순이었다. 총 아미노산의 평균 함량은 645.19mg으로 여수지역이 616.48mg, 제주지역이 673.90mg으로 나타났다.

임상화학검사실에서 회수율 실험의 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study of the Recovery Experiment in Clinical Chemistry)

  • The purpose of the recovery experiment in clinical chemistry is performed to estimate proportional systematic error. We must know all measurements have some error margin in measuring analytical performance. Proportional systematic error is the type of error whose magnitude increases as the concentration of analyte increases. This error is often caused by a substance in the sample matrix that reacts with the sought for analyte and therefore competes with the analytical reagent. Recovery experiments, therefore, are used rather selectively and do not have a high priority when another analytical method is available for comparison purposes. They may still be useful to help understand the nature of any bias revealed in the comparison of kit experiments. Recovery should be expressed as a percentage because the experimental objective is to estimate proportional systematic error, which is a percentage type of error. Good recovery is 100.0%. The difference between 100 and the observed recovery(in percent) is the proportional systematic error. We calculated the amount of analyte added by multiplying the concentration of the analyte added solution by the dilution factor(mL standard)/(mL standard + mL specimen) and took the difference between the sample with addition and the sample with dilution. When making judgments on method performance, the observed that the errors should be compared to the defined allowable error. The average recovery needs to be converted to proportional error(100%/Recovery) and then compared to an analytical quality requirement expressed in percent. The results of recovery experiments were total protein(101.4%), albumin(97.4%), total bilirubin(104%), alkaline phosphatase(89.1%), aspartate aminotransferase(102.8), alanine aminotransferase(103.2), gamma glutamyl transpeptidase(97.6%), creatine kinase(105.4%), lactate dehydrogenase(95.9%), creatinine(103.1%), blood urea nitrogen(102.9%), uric acid(106.4%), total cholesterol(108.5), triglycerides(89.6%), glucose(93%), amylase(109.8), calcium(102.8), inorganic phosphorus(106.3%). We then compared the observed error to the amount of error allowable for the test. There were no items beyond the CLIA criterion for acceptable performance.

한국 일부 청소년의 건강기능식품용 비타민·무기질 보충제 섭취 실태 및 관련 요인 조사 (A Survey on the Consumption of Vitamin and Mineral Supplements as Health Functional Foods and Related Factors by Korean Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the consumption prevalence of vitamin and mineral supplements as health functional foods (VM-HFF) and to examine the factors associated with VM-HFF consumption behaviors in adolescents. A total of 1,407 adolescents attending middle or high schools from various cities and rural communities in Korea participated in this study. The prevalence of VM-HFF consumption was 41.7%, with boys showing a higher consumption than girls (p<0.01). VM-HFF consumption was higher in families with higher socioeconomic status and for families with parents that exhibited higher concerns about their child's health, growth, and nutritional intake (p<0.001). Most consumers of VM-HFF consumed HFFs 'when healthy' (50.1%), and acquired nutritional information from 'their families & relatives' (50.9%). Most consumers responded that VM-HFF was 'a little effective' (54.3%), followed by 'no obvious effects' (37.1%), and 'very effective' (7.4%). The effectiveness of consuming VM-HFF was mainly for 'fatigue recovery' (39.0%) and 'health improvement' (28.2%). Most consumers purchased HFFs at 'pharmacies & oriental medicine clinics' (53.8%) and at 'health functional food stores' (18.8%). Most consumers 'occasionally' (51.1%) or 'seldom' (27.3%) checked nutrition facts when purchasing, with 58.9% of consumers understanding the nutritional label for 'the most part', but only 8.7% of them understanding it 'very well'. Among the VM-HFF, consumers preferred calcium- and vitamin C-supplements. Consumers' mini-dietary assessment scores were higher than those of non-consumers. The results above showed that VM-HFF consumption was widely spread among adolescents, but few consumers checked and understood the nutrition label when they purchased VM-HFF, and were highly dependent on the advice and information from non-professional nutritionists, such as families & relatives. Therefore, it is necessary to educate adolescents to help them read nutrition labels and select the proper VM-HFF.

슬래그 혼입량이 슬러리형 급결제를 활용한 숏크리트 몰탈의 물성에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Slag Replacement on the Properties of Shotcrete Using a Slurry-Type Set Accelerator)

  • 숏크리트의 필수 구성요소 중 하나인 급결제는 높은 pH환경에서 거동하는 경우가 많고 이를 억제하기 위해 개발된 시멘트 광물계 분말형 급결제 또한 작업시 다량의 분진 발생으로 인하여, 여러 환경적 문제를 일으키고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 슬러리형의 급결제를 도입하고, 기본적인 물성 파악을 위해 숏크리트 배합에 혼화재로서 자주 활용되는 슬래그의 혼입에 따른 숏크리트 재료의 응결 및 경화특성, 강도 특성 및 염화물 이온 침투 저항성을 평가하였다. 슬래그의 혼입에 따른 응결 경화의 촉진 및 1일 압축강도의 발현은 $C_{12}A_7$과 황산칼슘의 수화반응에서 생성된 에트링가이트상의 양과 관련이 있는 것으로 보이며, 3일 강도 이후의 물성은 일반적인 규산3칼슘의 수화반응과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 염화물 이온침투 저항성의 경우, 슬래그의 혼입량이 증가하면 훨씬 개선되는 것으로 나타나, 향후 이러한 배합에 대한 내염해성의 정밀한 평가가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

가토 신동맥 평활근에서 Barium의 수축작용 (Contractile Action of Barium in the Rabbit Renal Artery)

  • The contractile action of barium $(Ba^{2+})$ was investigated in the arterial strip of rabbit renal artery. The helical strip of isolated renal artery was immersed in the Tris-buffered Tyrode's solution equilibrated with 100% $O_2$ at $37^{\circ}C$ and its isometric tension was measured. $Ba^{2+}-induced$ contraction of arterial strip was dose-dependent and its maximal tension corresponded to $92.1{\pm}4.5%$ of tension by $K^+(100\;mM)$. $Ba^{2+}-induced$ contraction did not show the tachyphylactic phenomenon in the normal Tyrode's solution. $Ba^{2+}$ induced the tonic contraction in the $Ca^{2+}-free$ tyrode's solution and that was increased by the extracellula addition of $Ca^{2+}$. During the repeated exposure of the same dose of $Ba^{2+}\;(10\;mM)$ in the $Ca^{2+}-free$ Tyrode's solution, $Ba^{2+}-induced$ contraction was progressively decreased. Even though the intracellular NE-and caffeine-sensitive $Ca^{2+}$ was depleted, $Ba^{2+}$ induced the tonic contraction. After the pretreatment of lanthnum or verapamil, $Ba^{2+}$ did not induce contraction. $Ba^{2+}-induced$contraction was suppressed by extracellular $K^+$ in the normal Tyrode's solution and that was dependent on $K^+$ concentration. Suppressive effect of $K^+\;(14\;mM)$ on the $Ba^{2+}-induced$ contraction was also dependent on the intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration. From the above resuts, it is suggested that $Ba^{2+}$ activate indirectly the contractile process by promoting the mobilization of intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ and the influx of extracellular $Ca^{2+}$. It is also suggested that action of $Ba^{2+}$ on the $Ca^{2+}-activated$ $K^+$ channel can result in the depolarization of cell membrane in the rabbit renal artery.

원자력 발전소 주변지역 거주민의 가구소득별 영양섭취 (Nutrient Intakes Differences of the People Living Near the Nuclear Plant by the Household Income Level)

  • This study was conducted to measure and evaluate the food and nutrient intakes of the people living near the nuclear plant and to investigate the relationship between the household income level and the food and nutrient intake patterns. A total of 552 cases (263 males and 289 females) were surveyed during the period from April 1 to December 21 of 2005. Dietary intake was measured by means of the 24-hour recall method. The data were analyzed using SPSS Windows (ver. 14.0). The household income level of the subjects was classified into two groups : Low income group (LIG; $\leq$2,000,000 won) and high income group (HIG; > 2,000,000). The subjects at large had less energy and nutrient intakes than did the population in town and village who participated in the 2005 National Health and Nutrition Survey. The intake of calcium, zinc, vitamin A, riboflavin, vitamin $B_6$, vitamin C, and folic acid was less than the Estimated Average Requirement in case of $50{\sim}95%$ of the subjects. The LIG consumed less beans, vegetables, fruits, meats, and beverages than did the HIG in male, while the LIG consumed less eggs and beverages than did the HIG in female. The LIG consumed less nutrients than did the HIG in male, except for carbohydrate, while the LIG consumed less nutrients including zinc, vitamin A, riboflavin, vitamin B6, vitamin C, folic acid than did the HIG in female. In addition, the LIG had higher percentage energy consumption from carbohydrate. These results suggest that higher food and nutrient intake is associated with higher income.
