음주환경과 음주문화·행태에 따른 음주 중재 프로그램 개발 (Study of the Drinking Environment, Drinking Culture and Behavior for the Development of an Alcohol Intervention Program)

  • Objectives: This study aims to identify the drinking environment and drinking culture in an area with high drinking rates in order to provide the basis for the development of a drinking intervention program. Methods: Forty-six local experts and residents participated in focus group interviews that mainly asked questions about the drinking environment in the community, the culture and behavior of drinking, and the community efforts to reduce the drinking rates. The interviews of four groups were transcribed and analyzed. Results: Drinking environments and cultures were categorized into the following five themes: high physical accessibility to drinking, type of housing and long duration of stay in the same region, drinking-friendly culture and daily life events, various reasons and patterns of drinking, and lack of health (education) programs. Conclusions: Community efforts are required to make the residents aware of how the local environment is related to the high drinking rates in their community. Further, the study underlines the need for the community to make efforts to create an environment where drinking rates are low, and foster a diverse leisure culture.

넙치 자어 사육에 있어서 먹이 종류에 따라 고밀도로 배양한 rotifer의 먹이효율 (Dietary value of rotifer fed on the different diets in high density culture for flounder larvae, Paralichthys olivaceus)

  • 본 연구는 먹이종류에 따라 고밀도로 배양한 rotifer를 넙치 자어에게 공급하였을 때 이들의 먹이효율을 조사하였다. Rotifer 고밀도 배양의 실험구 먹이는 18 시간 동안 담수산 Chlorella를 공급한 후 6시간 유지효모 및 $Marine\;{\alpha}$를 공급한 것과 24시간 동안 담수산 농축 Chlorella 및 해수산 농축 Chlorella를 공급한 것으로 하였다. 배양수조는 $2l$를 이용하였고 수온 $28{\circ}C$를 유지하였다. $Marine {\alpha}$와 해수산 농축 Chlorella를 공급한 실험구의 n-3 HUFA 함량이 유지효모와 담수산 농축 Chlorella를 공급한 실험구보다 높게 나타났다. 따라서 $Marine\;{\alpha}$와 해수산 농축 Chlorella를 공급한 실험구가 유지효모와 담수산 농축 Chlorella를 공급한 실험구보다 넙치 자어의 성장과 생존률이 높게 나타났다. 또한 $Marine\;{\alpha}$로 배양된 rotifer를 섭취한 넙치 자어 자체의 지방산 중 n-3 HUFA비율이 다른 먹이보다 높게 나타났지만 안정적 배양은 이루어지지 않았다. 따라서 본 실험을 통해서 rotifer 고밀도 배양시 안정적인 rotifer 성장과 rotifer의 질적 개선을 위해서는 24시간 해수산 농축 Chlorella를 공급하는 것이 효율적이며 이들을 넙치 자어에게 공급하였을 때 가장 적절한 먹이일 것으로 판단된다.

복지국가 발달의 문화적 분석 (Cultural Analysis of Welfare State Development)

  • 복지국가로의 발달과정은 주로 산업화이론과 정치자원론으로 설명되어 왔다. 그러나 본고는 복지국가로의 발달과정을 비교문화 역사적 관점에서 분석하였다. 문화정향은 인류학자 Mary Douglas가 분류한 운명주의 문화, 계층주의 문화, 개인주의 문화, 평등주의 문화를 원용하였다. 비교대상국가는 영국, 미국, 독일, 일본, 스웨덴이다. 영국과 미국이 산업화 후기단계에 비교적 늦게 사회보장제도를 도입하고 복지국가 위기의 영향을 많이 받은 것은 이들 국가들의 강한 개인주의 문화에서 비롯된 것으로 보며, 독일과 일본이 산업화 초기단계에 비교적 일찍 사회보장제도를 도입하고 조합주의적이면서 보수적인 사회보장체계를 유지하는 것은 계층주의 문화의 영향으로 본다. 또한 스웨덴이 산업화가 진행되기 전에 사회보장제도를 도입하고 복지선진국으로 발전한 것은 평등주의 문화가 지배적이기 때문이다.

에탄올 발효방법에 따른 음식물류 폐기물의 바이오에탄올 생산성 비교 (Comparison of Bio-ethanol Productivity Using Food Wastes by Various Culture Modes)

  • In order to improve bio-ethanol productivity by various cultivation methods in this paper, the culture modes using food wastes, such as batch culture, high-cell-density fermentation, SSF (simultaneous saccharification and fermentation) by fill & draw, continuous culture by fill & draw were performed and their productivities were compared. SSFs by fill & draw were performed by continuous decompression using 1 L evaporator system, and by 10 L bioreactor without decompression. In addition, the continuous cultures by fill & draw mode using SFW (saccharafied food wastes) medium were performed by changes of 40% culture broth with intervals of 12 h (0.03 $h^{-1}$), 6 h (0.07 $h^{-1}$), 3 h (0.13 $h^{-1}$). Consequently, productivities of bio-ethanol were 2.52 g/L-h and 1.30 g/L-h in batch culture and high- cell-density fermentation, respectively. The productivities of SSF by fill & draw showed 2.24 g/L-h and 2.03 g/L-h in continuous decompression with 1 L evaporator and 10 L bioreactor without decompression, respectively. Also, the productivities in continuous culture by fill & draw modes showed 2.02 g/L-h, 4.07 g/L-h and 6.25 g/L-h by medium change with intervals of 12 h, 6 h, and 3 h, respectively. In conclusion, the highest ethanol productivity was obtained in the continuous culture mode by fill & draw with dilution rate of 0.13 $h^{-1}$.

부유망식과 수하식 양성방법에 따른 참굴(Crassostrea gigas)의 영양상태 (Evaluation of Nutrients during Rack and Bag Culture or Suspended Culture of Pacific Oyster Crassostrea gigas)

  • The mineral contents, and free amino acid, and fatty acid composition of rack and bag or suspended cultured oysters Crassostrea gigas were compared. The moisture content did not change much from 82.8% to 86.3% in the different culture methods. The glycogen level was low 4.7% during rack and bag culture but high 7.2% during suspended culture. The sodium level was the highest during suspended culture, while copper and zinc level were highest during rack and bag culture. The taurine level was 1,385-1,375 mg/100 g in oyster cultured using the rack and bag method, but that in the market sample was lowest at 1,015.8 mg/100 g. Hydroxyproline, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, and alanine were detected at high levels in the experimental oysters. The polyunsaturated fatty acid content was similar among samples. The docosahexaenoic acid level was 14% with rack and bag culture and 12% with suspended culture, whereas the eicosapentaenoic acid level was 15% with rack and bag culture and 20% with suspended culture. The atherogenic index (AI), thrombogenicity index (TI), and hypocholesterolemic/ hypercholesterolemic (h/H) ratio were important factors in the nutritional evaluation. The AI and TI values were 0.5-0.2, and the h/H ratio were 2.0 and 2.4 with the rack and bag and suspended culture, respectively.

음식문화거리조성 성공 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Successful Factors in Building Food Culture Streets)

  • Food Culture is formed in a unique culture heritage in some areas harmonized with social factors mixed with geographical conditions, natural environment, culture and religion. The more the life skill develops highly, the more people focus on improvement of the life skill in order to realize a delightful and convenient life, and plan an increase of production. Recently food-service companies have changed very quickly with economic environment. Such change will be continued and its speed will be more faster than now. Many food-service companies will disappear for weak competition, if they don’t manage adequately in such a case. Therefore, food-service companies have to search for an efficient, unique and creative management strategy. In such a viewpoint, Kyunggi-do designated five local cities as a model of Food Culture Streets greeting Welcoming Year of Kyunggi-do in 2005. The purpose of this study is to serve the healthy food to visitors visiting the Food Culture Streets and to do public relations about the excellence of their traditional food. In addition, this study includes improving tastes and qualities of food through education about cooking skills, management strategies and the best service with unique and creative menu development. Accordingly, we need to analyze the factors continuously on the business of food culture streets, and intend to use them as a database for high quality education and activity of food service industry in the future.

고추의 소포자 배양 시 전처리 배지, 새 배지의 첨가, 및 배양 용기의 크기가 배의 생산에 미치는 영향 (Influence of pretreatment medium, fresh medium addition, and culture plate size on the production of embryos in isolated microspore culture of hot pepper (Capsicum annuum L.))

  • The influences of pretreatment medium, the addition of fresh medium, and the size of culture plate on the production of embryos were investigated in isolated microspore culture of hot pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). Among the media used for heat shock pretreatment ($32{\pm}1{^{\circ}C}$), high frequency embryo production was obtained when the sucrosestarvation medium A was used. On the other hand, neither 0.37 M mannitol solution nor NLNS medium supplemented with sucrose was not efficient for embryo production. The addition of culture medium to pretreatment media considerably decreased the embryo production even though embryo development proceeded further. The embryo production was not improved by the addition of fresh medium after 2 or 3 weeks from starting culture. Increase in the size of the culture plate from $3.5{\times}1.0$ cm to $6.0{\times}1.5$ cm improved embryo quality. These results will provide valuable information for developing an efficient microspore culture system of hot pepper for high frequency embryo production.

  • The totality of language learning comprises three integrated components: linguistic, cultural, and attitudinal (Wilkes, 1983).Positively sensitizing students to cultural phenomena is urgent and crucial. A positive attitude toward L2 culture is a factor in language learning that leads to cross cultural understanding. This research examined, through a survey analysis, how three groups of students (one high school group and two university student groups) viewed the role of their foreign culture (i.e., American and British cultures) in achieving cultural understanding. The focus was upon how EFL learners approach the target language culture as well as their own culture.

  • Hypertrophy and the alteration of renal cell growth have been reported as early abnormality in diabetic nephropathy. However, the effects ot high PKCglucose and its action mechanism in renal proximal tubular cell (PTC) have not been elucidated. High glucose condition increases diacyl glycerol (DAG) and activates protein kinase C (PKC) in renal tubular cells. The PKC activates mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK), such as extracellular regulated kinase (ERK) and p38 MAPK. (omitted)

민간경비원의 조직문화와 직무특성 및 직무지속의지의 관계 (Relationship between Organizational Culture and Job Characteristic and Job Continuance among Private Security Guards)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 민간경비원의 조직문화와 직무특성 및 직무지속의지의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 2011년 9월 수도권소재(서울) 민간경비회사에서 재직하고 있는 민간경비원들을 모집단으로 설정한 후 유의표집법을 이용하여 최종분석에 이용된 사례 수는 총 280명이다. 분석방법은 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 .665이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 조직문화는 직무특성에 영향을 미친다. 근무기간이 길수록 직무중요성과 피드백은 높다. 개발합의적문화가 형성될수록 직무중요성, 자율성은 높다. 합리적문화가 형성될수록 직무중요성, 자율성, 피드백은 높다. 위계적문화가 형성될수록 직무중요성, 피드백은 높아진 반면, 자율성은 감소한다. 둘째, 민간경비원의 조직문화는 직무지속의지에 영향을 미친다. 남성 집단에서 직무기대는 높다. 연령이 높을수록 위기지각이 감소한다. 학력이 높을수록 직무만족, 위축, 대안기대는 증가한다. 월수입이 많을수록 직무만족, 위축, 직무기대, 대안기대, 위기지각은 증가한다. 개발합의적문화가 형성될수록 직무만족, 고의적불성실, 직무기대, 대안 기대, 위기지각은 높다. 합리적문화가 형성될수록 직무기대는 증가한 반면, 고의적불성실은 감소한다. 위계적문화가 형성될수록 직무만족, 고의적불성실, 직무기대, 위기지각은 높다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 직무특성은 직무지속의지에 영향을 미친다. 학력이 높을수록 직무만족, 직무기대, 대안기대는 증가한다. 근무기간이 길수록 직무만족, 직무기대, 대안기대, 위기지각이 감소한다. 월수입이 많을수록 직무만족, 직무기대, 대안기대, 위기지각이 증가한다. 직무중요성을 높게 인식할수록 직무만족, 직무기대는 증가한다. 자율성을 높게 인식할수록 직무만족, 위축, 고의적불성실, 직무기대, 대안기대는 증가한다. 피드백이 원활히 이루어질수록 고의적불성실은 감소한다.
