The purposes of this study were to examine the needs in foodservice in the view of students and to determine the ways to improve the foodservice quality. A survey was undertaken from 381 high school students by using a self-completed questionnaire regarding the student' satisfaction on the foodservice. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS program for descriptive analysis, t-test, and analysis of variance. The students assessed the importance and performance of the meal service as 4.19 and 2.52 out of 5, respectively, which suggests that the school foodservice needs to be improved. The attributes identified in Quadrant A, which was labelled 'focus here' and supposed to incidate the areas of high importance but in low performance, were the availability of meals that the students like, variety of menu, taste of the food, sanitary quality of the food, sanitized utensil, and response to complanints. The results of Importance-Performance Analusis(lPA) indicated the areas that the attention of management should be given to improve the quality of foodservice.

Recently, possibility of low protein diet with high energy level for improvement of fish production has been proposed in several fish species, especially under restricted feeding rate, fish responded better on high energy diet than low energy diet McGoogan and Gatlin (1999) stressed another benefit of low protein diet with high energy for fish production, in terms of reduction of nitrogen waste from fish metabolism However, others reported no effect of high lipid in feed on performance of fish (Jover et al. 1999). This was probably because that energy availability o requirement for fish varied based on fish species, protein content or quality in feed, rearing water temperature condition and feeding ration. The operational availability of multispactal high-resolution satellite imagery, opens up new possibilities for updating forest stand map. Compared with information acquired by traditional methods (Panchromatic Aerial Photo), these data offer a number of advantages, In this study used 1m resolution and 4 band multispectral, which are capability to update forest map of kind of tree. Therefore, high-resolution satellite imagery is good method for updating forest map in the future.

This study deals with the application of high speed on-off valves to an electro-hydraulic servo indexing system incorporated electro-hydraulic servo valces. Comparing with the electro-hydraulic servo valve the high speed on-off valve has some merits. Which included low price robustness to the oil contamination and dircect control without D/A converter. The considered sys-tem of this study is controlled by pulse width modulation(PWM) of the control law which is pro-duced by a PID controller which is used broadly in industrial equipments. The dynamic character-istics corresponding to variations of system parameters such as inertia moment system gain and supply pressure are investigated by computer simulation and experiment. Consequently the availability of the application of high speed on-off valve to servo indexing system instead of electro-hydraulic servo valve is confirmed.

본 논문에서는 메모리 데이터 베이스를 사용하여 초고압 송전 설비의 제어 및 보호 장치의 데이터 이중화 기법에 대해 고찰 하고자 한다. 초고압 송전 설비는 항시 전력을 공급해야 하므로 제어 및 보호 장치의 이중화는 선택이 아닌 필수라 할 수 있겠다. 이중화 기법중에서 메모리 데이터 베이스를 이용한 고속 데이터 이중화 기법에 관해 고찰 하고자 한다. 메모리 데이터 베이스를 이용하는 방법 이외에도 여러 이중화 방법이 있으나 메모리 데이터 베이스를 이용하면 여러가지 장점을 지니고 있어 편리한 데이터 이중화 구현이 가능 하다.

Six different types of joining between two parallel high Tc super-conducting tapes were prepared and I-V characteristic curves were obtained at the atmosphere of liquid nitrogen. Resistances in joint parts were estimated from I-V curves. We selected the best jointing method among these six methods and its availability for fabricating HTS field coils is discussed.

시스템 엔지니어링은 시스템의 일생 주기동안 수행되며 고장정보체계(Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System)는 제작단계부터 수행되는 RAMS(Reliability, Availability,Manitani bility,safety)과업 중의 하나이다. 고장정보체계는 설계와 제작단계에서 생성된 고장원인을 제거하고 수정작업을 구현하기 위한 방법을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 한국형 고속열차를 대상으로 고장정보 분석 및 관리, 신뢰도 평가를 위해 구축한 고장정보체계와 그 활용사례를 제시한다.

인터넷의 사용자가 급증하면서 고가용성(High Availability)과 확장성(Scalability)를 지닌 고성능 인터넷 서버들이 요구되고 있다. 클러스터 시스템은 이러한 요구사항을 만족시킬 수 있는 시스템으로 실제 작업을 처리하는 서버(Server)와 시스템 외부에서 유입되는 사용자 요구를 시스템에 속한 서버 노드에 분배하는 디렉터 (Director)로 이루어져 있다. 디렉터는 사용자가 요구한 작업을 서버노드에 분배하는 로드밸런서(Load-Balancer)의 역할을 하게 되는데, 작업을 분배하는 방법으로는 Round-Robin, Least-Connection 등의 방법이 주로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 작업분배 방법 중 효과적인 방법을 비교 선택하기 위해 대기이론을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

고 가용성 솔루션으로 IBM에서 내놓은 것이 HACMP이다. 이 HACMP는 두대 이상의 SYSTEM을 하나의 "cluster"로 묶어서, 각 시스템이 감시하고 있다가 한 대에 장애가 발생하면, 다른 시스템이 장애가 발생한 System의 자원을 "takeover"하는 것이다. 이 논문에서 제시하고자 하는 내용은 HACMP를 구축하는데, 쓰이는 기법 중 Mode 3의 특징들과 쓰임을 명확히 알 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 지금현재 Mode 3 구축 기법을 이용해 HACMP를 사용중인 회사의 구축 후 장애 사례를 시스템, 네트워크 아답터, 네트워크 전체장애 별로 구분하여 나타내고 있다.체장애 별로 구분하여 나타내고 있다.

In spite of their high availability in the field of water resources, finite element models generally require large amount of input data in which the preparation of them consists of complicated procedures and time consuming works. In addition, in case of a
