Various materials including conductive, dielectric, and semi-conductive materials, constitute suitable candidates for printed electronics. Metal nanoparticles (e.g. Ag, Cu, Ni, Au) are typically used in conductive ink. However, easily oxidized metals, such as Cu, must be processed at low temperatures and as such, photonic sintering has gained significant attention as a new low-temperature processing method. This method is based on the principle of selective heating of a strongly absorbent film, without light-source-induced damage to the transparent substrate. However, Cu nanoparticles used in inks are susceptible to the growth of a native copper-oxide layer on their surface. Copper-oxide-nanoparticle ink subjected to a reduction mechanism has therefore been introduced in an attempt to achieve long-term stability and reliability. In this work, a flash-light sintering process was used for the reduction of an inkjet-printed Cu(II)O thin film to a Cu film. Using a photographic lighting instrument, the intensity of the light (or intense pulse light) was controlled by the charged power (Ws). The resulting changes in the structure, as well as the optical and electrical properties of the light-irradiated Cu(II)O films, were investigated. A Cu thin film was obtained from Cu(II)O via photo-thermal reduction at 2500 Ws. More importantly, at one shot of 3000 Ws, a low sheet resistance value ($0.2527{\Omega}/sq.$) and a high resistivity (${\sim}5.05-6.32{\times}10^{-8}{\Omega}m$), which was ~3.0-3.8 times that of bulk Cu was achieved for the ~200-250-nm-thick film.

Nano seed incorporated in micro-sized 4BS (Tetrabasic lead Sulfate) seed was applied to the positive electrode active material and compared with Nano 4BS seed (NS). The dispersion of NS decreased due to the aggregation phenomenon, while the nano seed incorporated in micro-sized 4BS seed (INS) could confirm excellent dispersion. As the content of INS increased, the particle size of the active material became small and constant, which was confirmed through SEM and particle size analysis. The specific surface area for the reaction was increased and the high-rate discharge and lifetime characteristics were improved. In order to confirm the variation in particle size distribution in the plate manufacturing process, internal resistance and voltage were measured for 200 AGM lead-acid batteries, and it was confirmed that batteries quality variation decreased.

In this study, amino acid salt absorbents were applied to remove and capture high concentrations of CO2 in liquor factories and regeneration performance was confirmed. In order to evaluate the effective treatment of the desorption process, two methods(Hot plate and Steam) were compared at the laboratory scale. As a result, hot plate and Steam. Hot plate methods regeneration efficiency was about 10% and Steam methods was about 60%. The Steam-Tower condition was evaluated by installing a 100㎥/min flow rate scrubber absorption system in the liquor factory. As a result, it was established that the absorbent flow rate was below 4L/min and the steam temperature was above 160℃. Finally regeneration performance was confirmed as 85.5%.
This study was conducted to develop n convenient and efficient granular type absorbent with high CEC from powdery zeolite, which is a waste produced while crushing the natural zeolite of Korea to get a particular particle size. The change of mineralogical characteristics during hydrothermal alternation of natural zeolite to Na-P zeolite in alkaline solution at various reaction times was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and total elemental analysis. The columnar aggregate of Na-P Zeolite was produced by calcinating the natural zeolite-charcoal extrudates of about 3 mm diameter. In 24 hours reaction, clinoptillonite, mordenite and feldspar in natural zeolite were disappeared by 3 N NaOH treatment, while Na-P Zeolite with spherical granular structure was newly detected by XRD. As increasing reaction time, Si/Al ratio in remaining solution was deceased. The CEC of the synthesized material increased more than 2 times compared with that of natural zeolite, although the diameter of Na-P zeolite were rather increased.

To enhance the performance of SEWGS system by holding the WGS catalyst in a SEWGS reactor using bed inserts, effect of bed insert geometry on CO conversion of WGS catalyst was measured and investigated. Small scale fluidized bed reactor was used as experimental apparatus and tablet shaped WGS catalyst and sand particle were used as bed materials. The cylinder type and the spring type bed inserts were used to hold the WGS catalysts. The CO conversion of WGS catalyst with the change of steam/CO ratio was determined based on the exit gas analysis. Moreover, gas flow direction was confirmed by bed pressure drop measurement for each case. The measured CO conversion using the bed inserts showed high value comparable to previous results even though at low catalyst content. Most of input gas flowed through the bed center side when we charged tablet type catalyst into the cylinder type bed insert and this can cause low $CO_2$ capture efficiency because the possibility of contact between input gas and $CO_2$ absorbent is low in this case. However, the spring type bed insert showed good reactivity and good distribution of gas, and therefore, the spring type bed insert was selected as the best bed insert for SEWGS process.

This paper reports on the results of weathering test, tracking test and salt-fog test of various kinds of cycloaliphatic epoxy systems. UV irradiation dramatically induced the loss of surface hydrophobicity due to the chain scission attack at the surface under UV irradiation. It could be seen that samples containing an UV absorbent/antioxidant and a silicone oil additive have a good performance in weathering test, while ATH(alumina tri-hydrate) filled ones have high resistance against tracking failure than others. Under salt fog chamber test, specimens mixed with silicone oil are able to suppress leakage current development. It was thought that silicone oil mixed into cycloaliphatic epoxy system could lead to lower the surface energy and to retain hydrophobic properties for a long time, which are desirable for outdoor use.
The high viscosity of a LiCl(lithium chloride) solution as an absorbent in a solar energy regenerator causes a channeling phenomenon on the solar powered absorber plate surface when the solution is trickling down for regenerating itself. As this channeling phenomenon affects badly the heat and mass transfer, it is pertinent that this phenomenon be studied. Since regenerating performance of the solar energy regenerator depends on how the solution uniformly flows on the plate surface, an experiment on the structure of the plate surface for a model regenerator was conducted. Various shapes and structures of the plat surface down which the LiCl solution trickled were tested, and it was found that a tiered surface showed the highest water evaporation rate leaving more potential energy concentrating LiCl on the plate. It was also observed that the water evaporation rate depended largely on the pitch and height of the disturbing rods. In addition, the wider the contact area is and the longer the solution's flow time, the better the solar energy regenerator's performance.
This study was designed to collect a precise information concerning to the preference and evaluations after usage of pregnant Korean woman for the maternity wear bysurvey and wear tests. Through the survey, 212 respondents were asked to answer what type of maternity wear they prefer and what requirements for maternity wear design are important. According to the results of survey, the mostly preferred maternity wear items were pants and one-piece dress. Korean customers for maternity wear usually pay more for the one-piece dress than other items and they also usually put on medium price pants and low-price blouse. Concerning to the purchase criteria, it may be said that design and movability, fit factors are the buying decision criteria of great weight for Korean pregnant women. Special function most desired was thermal insulation, followed by buffer action, electromagnetic shield and quickly water-absorbent and dry property. Preferred maternity wear design details were flat collar, slightly fitted waist and empire style, gather skirt, rubber band waist. Wear test was performed for two kinds of blouse (BL) and one-piece dress (OP), and threekinds of pants (PT), which have different design details respectively. According to the wear test for ready-to-wear maternity garments, the garment which considers well the characteristics of Korean pregnant women body shape earned much higher score no matter of brands or prices. Generally, high-priced national brands received an excellent evaluation in design aspect, but not satisfied with comfort to move.
Unburned hydrocarbon (UBHC) emissions from gasoline engines remain a primary engineering research and development concern due to stricter emission regulations. Gasoline engines produce more UBHC emissions during cold start and warm-up than during any other stage of operation, because of insufficient fuel-air mixing, particularly in view of the additional fuel enrichment used for early starting. Impingement of fuel droplets on the cylinder wall is a major source of UBHC and a concern for oil dilution. This paper describes an experimental study that was carried out to investigate the distribution and 'footprint' of fuel droplets impinging on the cylinder wall during the intake stroke under engine starting conditions. Injectors having different targeting and atomization characteristics were used in a 4-Valve engine with optical access to the intake port and combustion chamber. The spray and targeting performance were characterized using high-speed visualization and Phase Doppler Interferometry techniques. The fuel droplets impinging on the port, cylinder wall and piston top were characterized using a color imaging technique during simulated engine start-up from room temperature. Highly absorbent filter paper was placed around the circumference of the cylinder liner and on the piston top to collect fuel droplets during the intake strokes. A small amount of colored dye, which dissolves completely in gasoline, was used as the tracer. Color density on the paper, which is correlated with the amount of fuel deposited and its distribution on the cylinder wall, was measured using image analysis. The results show that by comparing the locations of the wetted footprints and their color intensities, the influence of fuel injection and engine conditions can be qualitatively and quantitatively examined. Fast FID measurements of UBHC were also performed on the engine for correlation to the mixture formation results.

A standing grinder with a vacuum dust collection, which works grinding a surface and collecting dust occurred simultaneously, is needed to clean the surface before painting, or to remove a weld bead burr in the industrial field. In recent it trends to be compact and potable with high grinding and dust collection power, and low noise. As increasing these grinding and dust collection power, the noise and weight of standing grinder occurs an important problem. To solve these problem, an efficient cyclone separator was designed and developed by Ansys-CFX analysis and experiments. A weight of the developed grinder part was 5.9kg, which can be easily handled on standing by workers. and a noise level of the developed prototype was measured 69.9 dB(A).
