  • This paper proposes a virtual and invisible private disk (VIPDISK) technology equipped with the secure storage devices. As a software based security technology, it can create hidden partitions on any data storage device which can not be identified by the windows OS, so the program running on it, does not have any evidence of the existence of the hidden storage space. Under inactive state, it maintains an unexposed secure partition which can only be activated with a matching combination of a unique digital key and a user password to open the decryption tool. In addition, VIPDISK can store data to secure storage device with real-time encryption, it is worry-free even in the case of lost or theft. Simulation results show that VIPDISK provides a much higher level of security compared to other existing schemes.

  • This study has been peformed to investigate storage space types of old-fashioned traditional dwelling units where older couples maintain their traditional farming lives. In this study it is observed that residents of the traditional farm-houses are exposed to higher level of environmental and emotional pressures. However it is also observed that the older residents are generally manifesting a consistent subculture of the old-timers without noticeable complaints. The usage and morphology of storage spaces are as follows: (1) Storage space in the ceiling are under control of old couple and used for seasonally varied farm products and household equipment. (3) All the households use longterm storage space under wooden floor; the hidden ground is used for keeping miscellaneous tools and fermented foods for years. Overall in this stud it is observed that traditional farm houses are well modified for physically and emotionally frail elderly residents.

  • GPS location information storage included in the HD black box is using a unique manner for each manufacturer does not have a specific standard. In this paper, in order to overcome the limitations of the storage space and thereby the image quality according to store GPS position information deteriorate to solve the problems that cause, we propose the location information concealment method included in the HDTV video content using a essential hidden region. HDTV video content is a Border Extender of 8 lines in the frame to the bottom of the compression will be required. This was inserted into the image of a gray scale used in block form in order to space the current position information is concealed to prevent image degradation. The proposed method was confirmed using real HD black box, there are more difficult to interpret the format of the ASCII code re-edit the location information when the compression effect disappears with the existing security zones added. Therefore, the proposed method is suitable for location-based services, such as Facebook or Youtube videos.

  • High-reliability prediction of dam inflow is necessary for efficient dam operation. Recently, studies were conducted to predict the inflow of dams using Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP). Existing studies used the Gradient Descent (GD)-based optimizer as the optimizer among MLP operators to find the optimal correlation between data. However, the GD-based optimizers have disadvantages in that the prediction performance is deteriorated due to the possibility of convergence to the local optimal value and the absence of storage space. This study improved the shortcomings of the GD-based optimizer by developing Adaptive moments combined with Improved Harmony Search (AdamIHS), which combines Adaptive moments among GD-based optimizers and Improved Harmony Search (IHS). In order to evaluate the learning and prediction performance of MLP using AdamIHS, Daecheong Dam inflow was learned and predicted and compared with the learning and prediction performance of MLP using GD-based optimizer. Comparing the learning results, the Mean Squared Error (MSE) of MLP, which is 5 hidden layers using AdamIHS, was the lowest at 11,577. Comparing the prediction results, the average MSE of MLP, which is one hidden layer using AdamIHS, was the lowest at 413,262. Using AdamIHS developed in this study, it will be possible to show improved prediction performance in various fields.
