딥러닝 객체 인식과 증강현실 기술을 적용한 개인 이동장치 HMD용 어플리케이션 설계 (Design of HMD Application for Personal Mobility Equipment using Deep Learning Object Recognition and Augmented Realism Techniques)

  • 최근 전동 킥보드, 전동휠, 전기 자전거 등 개인형 이동수단(Personal Mobility)의 보급이 늘면서 관련 인명 교통사고가 급증하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개인형 이동수단의 사용위험 및 사고 감소를 목적으로, 딥러닝 객체탐지 기술을 적용하여 다양한 위험요소를 증강현실 기술을 기반으로 한 HMD(Helmet mounted display)에 표시하는 '딥러닝 객체 인식과 증강현실을 적용한 개인 이동장치를 위한 HMD(Helmet Mounted Display) 어플리케이션'을 설계한다. 제시하는 방법은 실시간으로 수집된 전방의 실시간 영상 정보를 객체 탐지 알고리즘을 통해 위험요소 및 안전한 주행을 보조하는 객체를 감지하고 증강현실을 적용해 사용자에게 적절한 운전 보조장치 및 기능을 제공한다.

전뇌 방사선치료 시 치료방법에 따른 두피선량평가 (Scalp Dose Evaluation According Radiation Therapy Technique of Whole Brain Radiation Therapy)

  • 목 적: 뇌전이 환자에게 시행하는 고전적인 헬멧(Helmet field)형태의 대향2문방사선조사는 환자두피에 과 선량을 일으키며 이는 탈모의 원인이 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 환자두피를 보호하기 위한 두피보호 형태(Scalp-shielding shape)의 대향 2문 조사와 토모 치료법을 고전적 방사선치료법과 비교하여 보다 효과적인 탈모 예방의 두피선량을 정량적으로 분석하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 두피선량은 RANDO 팬톰을 사용하여 열형광선량계를 전두엽의 중심선에 따라서 5개를 위치시킨 후, 세 가지 치료방법(HELMET, MLC, TOMO)으로 피부선량을 측정하였고, 전산화치료계획장치(Pinnacle3, Philips Medical System, USA), 6MV X선(Clinac 6EX, VARIAN, USA)을 이용하여 방사선치료계획을 수립한 후, DVH로 선량분포변화와 두피선량을 비교 분석하였다. 결 과: 열형광선량계를 사용하여 두피의 표면선량을 측정한 결과 기존의 HELMET field 치료방법과 비교했을 때 MLC technique에서는 각 포인트 지점에서 평균 87.44% 두피선량이 감소하는 것으로 측정되었으며 TOMO에서는 평균 88.03% 두피 선량이 감소하는 것으로 측정되었다. 또한 세 가지 치료방법의 두피내의 과다선량 영역(Hotspot)의 존재정도를 평가하기 위해 선량체적히스토그램(Dose volume histogram, DVH)을 사용하여 처방선량의 95%, 100%, 105%가 받는 용적의 백분율(Percentage of volume: V95, V100, V105)을 계산한 결과 MLC technique과 TOMO plan에서 과다선량 없이 Dose coverage가 우수함을 보여주었다. 결 론: 전뇌 방사선치료를 받는 환자에게 탈모현상을 줄여주는 것은 환자의 삶의 질을 높여주는 측면에서 중요하다. 이에 본 실험결과를 바탕으로 두피보호 형태(Scalp-shielding shape)의 대향 2문 조사와 토모 치료법을 사용하여 환자의 두피를 보호함으로써 환자의 탈모현상을 줄여주는 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

  • Safety management is the most important factor in the construction industry. If the construction company don't control the risk, it causes the accident which give the company fatal loss. According to the Korea industrial safety analysis reports, the 25.72% of the disasters are from the construction industry, and the 13.6% construction disasters are caused by not properly using the safety gears. Therefore, this study is to investigate the Wearing Safety Gear by Occupational Classification and the Satisfaction in the Construction Field. The results are ; Carpenters are dissatisfied with the safety shoes and belt, re-bar workers are dissatisfied with the safety helmet and shoes, Concrete workers are dissatisfied with the safety helmet and goggles.

  • 실시간 렌더링 시스템에서 시야를 변경하는 속도가 증가할수록 FPS(Frame Per Second)가 감소하는 문제가 발생한다. 이에 따라 시야 변경이 증가할수록 감소하는 FPS를 향상하기 위한 렌더링 최적화 기술이 요구되며, 본 논문에서는 동적 LOD(Level of Detail)와 컬링 기술을 적용하여 실시간 렌더링 과정에서 렌더링 데이터를 감소함으로써 저하되는 FPS를 증가시키기 위한 렌더링 최적화 기법과 HMD(Helmet Mounted Display)의 움직임에 따라 변경된 시야각을 적용한 OSG(Open Scene Graph) 기반 실시간 렌더링 시스템을 제시한다.

Diagnosis and treatment of positional plagiocephaly

  • Positional plagiocephaly is increasing in infants. Positional plagiocephaly is an asymmetric deformation of skull due to various reasons; first birth, assisted labor, multiple pregnancy, prematurity, congenital muscular torticollis and position of head. Positional plagiocephaly can mostly be diagnosed clinically and by physical examinations. The simplest way to assess the severity of plagiocephaly is to use a diagonal caliper during physical examination, which measures the difference between the diagonal lengths on each side of the head. Plagiocephaly can be treated surgically or conservatively. Positional plagiocephaly, which is not accompanied by craniosynostosis, is treated conservatively. Conservative treatments involve a variety of treatments, such as change of positions, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and helmet therapy. Systematic approaches to clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment of positional plagiocephaly can be necessary and the age-appropriate treatment is recommended for patients with positional plagiocephaly.

  • In this paper, various tow parameters such as equivalent tow thickness, amplitude of longitudinal tow and tow intervals were investigated and compared with each other by using microscopic observation to find out the exact deformation patterns between both directions of the fabric structure (Longitudinal and Transverse Directions). Specimens for the observation were taken from draped helmet which is made of fabric composite (Five Harness Satin Weave). From the observation results, it was found that there are different deformation pattern between tow directions and effect of geometric condition on the deformation of the fabric materials during draping process was verified.

안전모의 충격전달에 관한 이론적 고찰 (A theoretical study on the shock-absorbing characteristic of safety helmet)

  • The need for the protection of workers in many industrial workstations has long been recognized, and many type of protective equipment have been devised. In many protective equipment designs, this study set limits to the safety helmet. The direct closed head impact problem was idealized as a linear-damped spring model. This study concerns what properties of helment should afford optimal protection in a direct closed head impact problem. The solution to the problem was achieved through analytic method and numerical computation. The answer was found in terms of 4 parameters : 1) rigidity of shell, 2) viscosity of shell, 3)rigidity of harness, 4) viscosity of harness. The choices are as follows 1) to reduce the rigidity value of harness as small as possible 2) to increase the viscosity value of harness as large as possible. 3) to select the rigidity value of shell sufficient for preventing a breakage.

3D Overhead Modeling Using Depth Sensor

  • Purpose This paper was purposed to suggest the method to produce the supportive helmet (head correction) for the infants who are suffering from plagiocephaly and to evaluate the level of transformation through 3D model. Method Either of CT or X-ray restored images has been used in making the supportive helmet (Head correction) in general, but these methods of measuring have problems in cost and safety. 3D surface measurement technology was suggested to solve such matters. Results It was to design the transformed model of the head within 0.7cm in average by scanning the surface of head and performing 3D restoration with marching cube and the changing rate of the head was compared in numerical data with 3D model. Conclusion The suggested methods displayed the better performance than the conventional method in respect of the speed and cost.

The Factors Affecting Bicycle Riding Under the Influence in Korean Adults: The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey

  • This study was conducted to identify the impact factors of bicycle driving under the influence (DUI) among Korean adults. The participants were 1,297 Korean adults. The prevalence of bicycle DUI was 11.7% of Korea adults. The factors affecting bicycle DUI were gender, education level, frequency of drinking, one-time drinking, vehicle DUI. To prevent bicycle DUI, we would need to facilitate appropriate drinking habits, provide treatments for disorders related to alcohol use, and change the social perception of bicycle DUI. Also, we should promote the establishment of the culture of bicycle helmet use, the establishment of a system that imposes fine to non-helmet-using riders, and education and publicity on the national level to recognize that bicycle DUI and DUI are mutually related.
