The review summarizes the published data on the widely applied electron-beam, laser-beam, as well as resistance upset, projection, and spot welding of zirconium alloys for nuclear applications. It provides the results of their analysis to identify common patterns in this area. Great attention has been paid to the quality requirements, the edge preparation, up-to-date equipment, process parameters, as well as post-weld treatment and processing. Also, quality control and weld repair methods have been mentioned. Finally, conclusions have been drawn about a significant gap between the capabilities of advanced welding equipment to control the microstructure and, accordingly, the properties of welded joints of the zirconium alloys and existing algorithms that enable to realize them in the nuclear industry. Considering the ever-increasing demands on the high-burnup accident tolerant nuclear fuel assemblies, great efforts should be focused on the improving the welding procedures by implementing predefined heat input cycles. However, a lot of research is required, since the number of possible combinations of the zirconium alloys, designs and dimensions of the joints dramatically exceeds the quantity of published results on the effect of the welding parameters on the properties of the welds.
In this study, a graphite block is fabricated using artificial graphite processing byproduct and phenolic resin as raw materials. Mechanical and electrical property changes are confirmed due to the preforming method. After fabricating preforms at 50, 100, and 150 MPa, CIP molding at 150 MPa is followed by heat treatment to prepare a graphite block. 150UP-CIP shows a 12.9% reduction in porosity compared with the 150 MPa preform. As the porosity is decreased, the bulk density, flexural strength, and shore hardness are increased by 14.9%, 102.4%, and 13.7%, respectively; and the deviation of density and electrical resistivity are decreased by 51.9% and 34.1%, respectively. Therefore, as the preforming pressure increases, the porosity decreases, and the electrical and mechanical properties improve.
To achieve high transport current without degradation under magnetic field, it is essential to artificially generate the pinning sites at which moving magnetic flux can be pinned. In this work, $ZrO_2$ nanodots were formed on the substrate surface using electro-spray deposition method. On top of the nanodots, the extended and effective pinning centers can be created. The positively charged Zr precursor solution was sprayed out from the needle using the corona discharge phenomena. Then, the sprayed precursor was deposited onto the negatively charged substrate surface followed by the heat treatment under the controlled atmosphere. Using the electrostatic force among the charged particles of precursor, evenly distributed and nano-sized dots were formed on the substrate surface. The size and density of the nanodots were studied by Atomic Force Microscopy. Also discussed are the effect of the deposition time and solution concentration on the size and density of the nanodot and processing variables in electro-spray method for the effective flux pinning centers in the superconducting films.

Spinnable pitches and carbon fibers were successfully prepared from petroleum or coal pyrolysis residues. After pyrolysis fuel oil (PFO), slurry oil, and coal tar were simply filtered to eliminate the solid impurities, the characteristics of the raw materials were evaluated by elemental analysis, 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer (MALDI-TOF-MS), and so on. Spinnable pitches were prepared for melt-spinning carbon fiber through a simple distillation under strong nitrogen flow, and further vacuum distillation to obtain a high softening point. Carbon fibers were produced from the above pitches by single-hole melt spinning and additional heat treatment, for oxidization and carbonization. Even though spinnable pitches and carbon fibers were processed under the same conditions, the melt-spinning and properties of the carbon fiber were different depending on the raw materials. A fine carbon fiber could not be prepared from slurry oil, and the different diameter carbon fibers were produced from the PFO and coal tar pitch. These results seem to be closely correlated with the initial characteristics of the raw materials, under this simple processing condition.

Ozonic use of sterilization and heat treatment of raw material to extend the conservation period of food recently is increased by hard vegetable or microorganism sterilization purpose of fruit. If ozone can create as is easy comparatively because do air or oxygen by raw material and schedule period passes, there is advantage that do not leave the second contaminant because being gotten restored by oxygen. Also, because the effect is big to decolorization beside sterilization effect about microorganism, deodorization, disjointing of venomousness hazardous substance, food save, indoor air purge, good hand processing, hydrospace agricultural chemicals processing etc. the use extent is wide. This research ran parallel a sterilization experiment of E.coli colitis germs by ozone that manufacture ozonizer that use doped diamond maund electrode (BDD) by boron and searched special quality electrochemistry enemy of the ozonizer and is created. E.coli. After cultivate E.coli colitis germs during 37C 1 day is LB ship, after do ozonation, was sterilized more than 90% by ozone as result that examine sterilizing power by substance microscope and could confirm excellency of diamond electrode.

Viral safety is a prerequisite for manufacturing clinical albumin and immunoglobulins from human plasma pools. This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of cold ethanol fractionation and pasteurization (60$\^{C}$ heat treatment for 10h) for the removal/inactivation of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) during the manufacturing of albumin and immunoglobulins. Samples from the relevant stages of the production process were spiked with HIV-1, and the amount of virus in each fraction was quantified by the 50% tissue culture infectious dose(TCID(sub)50). Both fraction IV fractionation and pasteurization steps during albumin processing were robust and effective in inactivating HIV-1, titers of which were reduced from an initial 8.5 log(sub)10 TCID(sub)50 to undetectable levels. The log reduction factors achieved were $\geq$ 4.5 and $\geq$ 6.5, respectively. In addition, fraction III fractionation and pasteurization during immunoglobulins processing were robust and effective in eliminating HIV-1. HIV-1 titers were reduced from an initial 7.3 log(sub)10 TCID(sub)50 to undetectable levels. The log reduction factors achieved in this case were $\geq$ 4.9 and $\geq$ 5.3, respectively. These results indicate that the process investigated for the production of albumin and immunoglobulins have sufficient HIV-1 reducing capacity to achieve a high margin of safety.
Fabrication of ${\beta}-FeSi_2$ was attempted by making use of the combined process of mechanical alloying (MA) and spark plasma sintering (SPS). MA was performed under the Ar gas atmosphere using mixed powders of pure iron and silicon having the mole fraction of 1:2. SPS process was performed at 800-85$0^{\circ}C$ with the applied pressure of 50MPa and the holding time was ranging from 0 to 30min. The mechanically alloyed powder by cyclic operation of rotor for 15hrs consisted of $\varepsilon$-FeSi and Si phases. When this mechanically alloyed powder was sintered by SPS process above 85$0^{\circ}C$, $\varepsilon$-FeSi and ${\alpha}-Fe_2Si_5$ phase were formed. Bulk product sintered at 82$0^{\circ}C$ for 30min consisted of ${beta}-FeSi_2$ phase with a small fraction of $\varepsilon$-FeSi and the density of sintered specimen was 75.3% theoretical density. It was considered that the MA/SPS combined process was effective for the preparation of ${\beta}-FeSi_2$ without heat treatment process after sintering.
Transforming growth factor-$\beta$ (IGF-$\beta$)s are multifunctional small polypeptides synthesized in most cell types. TGF-$\beta$ exerts pivotal effects on both bone formation and resorption. In addition, increasing lines of evidence implicate TGF-$\beta$ as a potential coupling factor between these two processes during bone remodeling. In the present study, the expression form and the activation mechanism of latent-TGF-$\beta$ were investigated using specific antibodies for each isoform. TGF-$\beta$s were observed to be synthesized and accumulated in a large amount in cultured osteoblastic cells. The estimated molecular weights of intracellular TGF-$\beta$2 and -$\beta$3 were 49 and 55 kDa, respectively. Based on proteolytic digestion study and immunofluorescence observation, these precursor forms seemed to be accumulated in distinct intracellular compartments. To examine whether the internal pool of TGF-$\beta$ was possiblely regulated by external signals, their biological activites were examined in a conditioned media of this cell. Although the intact conditioned media did not contain detectable TGF-$\beta$ activity, heat-treatment or acid-activation of the conditioned media revealed significant TGF-$\beta$ activity. Furthermore, in the presence of estrogen, this activity was dramatically diminished. It is known that activation of latent TGF-$\beta$ can be achieved by different chemical and enzymatic treatments, or by incubation with certain cell types. This extracellular activation was suggested as a key step in the regulation of TGF-$\beta$ activity. In addition to these extracellular activation, this study suggests that the synthesis and intracellular processing are important regulation steps for TGF-$\beta$ action. In addition, this regulation Is specific for TGF-$\beta$ type 2, because the change was not observed in TGF-$\beta$3 in osteoblastic cell line.
Lead-free piezoelectric materials have been actively studied to substitute for conventional PZT based solid solution, $Pb(Zr_xTi_{1-x}O_3)$, which occurs unavoidable PbO during the sintering process. Among them, Bismuth Sodium Titanate, $Na_{0.5}Bi_{0.5}TiO_3$ (abbreviated as NBT) based solid solution is attracted for the one of excellent candidates which shows the strong ferroelectricity, Curie temperature (Tc), remnant polarization (Pr) and coercive field (Ec). Especially, the solid solution of rhombohedral phase NBT with tetragonal perovskite phase has a rhombohedral - tetragonal morphotropic phase boundary. Modified NBT with tetragonal perovskite at the region of MPB can be applied for high frequency ultrasonic application because of not only its low permittivity, high electrocoupling factor and high mechanical strength, but also effective piezoelectric activity by poling. In this study, solid state ceramic processing of NBT and modified NBT, $(Na_{0.5}Bi_{0.5})_{0.93}Ba_{0.7}TiO_3$ (abbreviated as NBT-7BT), at the region of MPB using 7 % $BaTiO_3$ as a tetragonal perovskite was introduced and the structure between NBT and NBT-7BT were analyzed using rietveld refinement. Also, the ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of NBT-7BT such as permittivity, piezoelectric constant, polarization hysteresis and strain hysteresis loop were compared with those of pure NBT.
