급탕 2단열교환방식 지역난방 열사용시설의 급탕부하 분배에 관한 연구 (Distribution of Hot Tap Water Load for District Heating Substation with Hot Tap Water 2-Stage Heat Exchanger)

  • According to the standards for district heating substation established by Korea District Heating Corporation, water heating supply systems at over 150 Mcal/h capacity must employ the 2-stage heat exchanger that improves the system efficiency by reusing the heat included in the return water of district heating system already used for space heating. In this paper, the operating characteristics of the system in accordance with the load distribution of two heat exchangers for pre-heating and re-heating cold city water are investigated. The results including mass flow rate, return temperature etc. help to manage district heating system economically.

수직밀폐형 지중열교환기의 회로 과도해석 상사모델 개발 (Development of an Electric Circuit Transient Analogy Model in a Vertical Closed Loop Ground Heat Exchanger)

  • Several numerical or analytical models have been proposed to analyze the thermal response of vertical ground heat exchangers (GHEX). However, most models are valid only after several hours of operation since they neglect the heat capacity of the borehole. Recently, the short time response of the GHEX became important in system simulation to improve efficiency. In this paper, a simple new method to evaluate the short time response of the GHEX by using an analogy model of electric circuit transient analysis was presented. The new transient heat exchanger model adopting the concept of thermal capacitance of the borehole as well as the steady-state thermal resistance showed the transient thermal resistance of the borehole. The model was validated by in-situ thermal response test and then compared with the DST model of the TRNSYS program.

온실용 축열 연소기형 이산화탄소 발생기의 배기 및 열회수 특성 (Emission and heat recovery characteristics of heat recovery and combustor-type CO2 generator for greenhouses)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of after-treatment equipment and thermal storage devices for a heat recovery and combustor-type $CO_2$ generator fuelled a kerosene. To reduce the levels of harmful exhaust gases produced by a $CO_2$ generator, a catalyzed particulate filter(CPF) has been selected as an after-treatment device, by considering back pressure and exhaust gas temperature. The CO conversions of the catalyzed SiC filter(full plugging) were 92%, and the concentration of PM(particulate matter) was near ambient. A thermal recovery device was used to recover 13% of the heat energy from the exhaust gas through heat exchangers installed on the exhaust line of the $CO_2$ generator. 69% of the moisture within the exhaust gases was removed by condensing water, in order to minimize excessive humidity within the greenhouse.

온실내 잉여에너지 이용을 위한 지중 열교환 시스템의 상추 재배 효과 (Effect of Air-earth Heat Exchange System on Growth of Leafy Lettuce in Greenhouse)

  • Earth to air heat exchangers made by iron, aluminium, copper and poly-ethylene pipe for single greenhouse heating were experimented and blowers. Earth to air heat exchanger was installed by pipelines in earth tube at 70cm depths and air blower was the heating capacity 3kW/h, As the result, Temperature difference due to temperature history of the inlet and outlet air on the various type in earth tube in greenhouse showed that air temperature at the various type in earth tube, comparison tube were make no difference respectively. Under the experimental condition, heat fluxes and heating load were showed 6,800Kcal/h, 19,699kcal/h generally yield of Lactuca Sativa cultured during days of sowing 90day in greenhouse using copper pipe was 170% incleased.

  • An experimental study of the absorption process of water vapor into a lithium bromide solution was performed. For the purpose of developing high performance absorption chiller/hater utilizing lithium bromide solution as working fluid, it is important to improve the performance of absorber with the larger heat transfer area of the four heat exchangers. The experimental apparatus was composed of a plate type absorber which could increase the heat exchange area per unit volume to investigate more detail characteristics instead of the conventional type, that is, horizontal tube bundle type. The size of plate absorbers were made for 0.4m$\times$0.6m and the design objective of a refrigeration capacity was 1RT. In this experiment, three kinds of plate absorbers namely flat plate, dimple plate and groove plate were used. The obtained results were less than the design objective values, that is, the refrigeration capacity was about 0.3 ~0.4RT and the overall heat transfer coefficient was 500~600 kcal/$m^2$h$^{\circ}C$ at the standard conditions.

  • Optimal design of shell and tube heat exchanger system with the working fluids which may condense outside the tubes has been carried out under specified inlet and outlet conditions. Independent variables such as number of parallel series, tube diameter, distribution pitch, tube side pressure loss, baffle cut and shell side pressure loss as well as dependent variables such as shell diameter, number of tubes, number of serial series and number of baffles were all characterized according to the standard. Exhaustive search method was used to construct a computer program together with the calculation of heat transfer rate by LMTD method. stress analysis of maj or parts was made to examine their dimensions satisfying heat transfer and pressure loss requirements. Cost estimation based on the installation, operation and maintenance was also made, A few representative variables, heat transfer area, shell diameter and pressure loss, were used to express cost function, finally giving the optimal selection of all tentative solutions.

  • In this study, a comparative analysis between an electric heat pump cooling system and a hybrid desiccant cooling system is conducted. Desiccant cooling is a thermal driven system with potentially lower electric power consumption than electric heat pump. Hybrid desiccant cooling system simulation includes components such as a desiccant rotor, direct and indirect evaporative coolers, heat exchangers, fans, and a heat pump system. Using dynamic simulations by climate conditions, house cooling temperatures and power consumption for both systems are analyzed for 16 days period in the summer season under climate scenarios for the year 2100 prediction. The results reveal that the hybrid desiccant cooling system exhibits a 5-18% reduction in electric consumption compared to the heat pump system.

  • 본 연구에서는 이 사이클 주위에 열전달이 추가된 열기관에 대하여 최대출력 조건 등을 구하고, 내부의 사이클이 각각 타노 사이클 및 브레이튼 사이클인 경우의 결과와 비교하여, 내적가역 최대출력 사이클들의 특성을 밝히고자 한다.

  • 현장 열응답 시험을 통해 지중 유효 열전도도를 산출하여 각 보어홀의 성능을 비교하기 위해 강원도 원주 현장에 6개의 보어홀을 시험 시공하였다. 6개의 보어홀은 그라우트 종류와 첨가재 종류, 지중열교환기 파이프 단면에 따른 영향을 검토하도록 시공되었다. 그라우트 재료는 벤토나이트와 시멘트를 사용하였으며 첨가재는 천연규사와 흑연, 파이프 단면은 기존 U-tube 파이프 단면과 유입과 유출 파이프 사이에 파이프를 추가로 삽입한 새로운 3공형 파이프 단면을 적용하였다. 현장 열응답 시험으로 산정한 지중 유효 열전도도 결과는 시멘트 그라우트로 시공한 보어홀의 경우가 벤토나이트 그라우트로 시공한 경우에 비해 전열 성능이 향상됨을 보였으며 흑연을 추가로 사용한 경우가 천연규사만 사용한 경우보다 높은 효율을 보였다. 또한, 유입과 유출 파이프 사이에 물을 채워 부분적 단열 구간을 형성한 새로운 3공형 파이프 단면의 경우가 기존 U-tube 파이프 단면에 비해 높은 효율을 보였다. 가상 건물에 대한 지중열교환기 설계를 수행하여 지중열교환기 시공비를 비교한 결과, 시멘트 그라우트에 첨가재로 천연규사와 흑연을 함께 사용한 경우가 벤토나이트 그라우트에 첨가재로 천연규사를 사용한 기존의 시공방법 보다 낮은 시공비로 설계가 가능하였다. 마지막으로 본 현장 열응답 시험결과를 바탕으로 일련의 경제성 분석을 통하여 새로이 제시된 첨가제와 3공형 파이프 단면의 적용성을 평가하였다.

형상변수에 따른 나선형 원형핀-튜브 열교환기의 공기측 열전달 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Air-Side Heat Transfer Characteristics of a Spirally-Coiled Circular Fin-Tube Heat Exchanger According to Geometric Parameters)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 무착상 조건에서 나선형 원형핀-튜브 열교환기의 형상변수에 따른 열전달특성을 고찰하고 평판 사각핀-튜브 열교환기와 열전달성능을 비교하는 것이다. 나선형 원형핀-튜브 열교환기는 Lfoot 길이 2.7 mm 에서 열전달계수가 최대로 나타났으며, 공기측 열전달계수는 튜브열수가 2 열에서 5 열로 증가하면서 평균 10% 감소하였고 핀피치가 5 mm 에서 10 mm 로 증가하면서 평균 17.5% 증가하였다. 모든 풍량조건에서 나선형 원형핀-튜브 열교환기의 튜브피치 30 mm 가 35 mm 보다 열전달량이 평균 5.1% 높게 나타났고 튜브두께 0.5 mm 가 0.7 mm 보다 열전달량이 평균 4.1% 높게 나타났다. 나선형 원형핀-튜브 열교환기의 열전달계수가 평판 사각핀-튜브 열교환기에 비하여 평균 24.3% 정도 높게 나타났다.
