IMU 및 가속도 센서를 이용한 안내견 하네스 행동 알림 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Behavior Notification System for Guide Dog Harness Using IMU and Accelerometer Sensor)

  • 본 논문에서는 시각장애인이 안내견과 함께 보행 중 환경적 요소와 상황에 따른 인지를 도와주기 위한 안내견 하네스 행동 알림 시스템을 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 안내견의 하네스 안장에 IMU(inertial measurement unit)모듈 및 가속도센서 다리벨트를 장착하였으며, 이로부터 출력되는 정보를 이용하여 안내견의 보폭추정과 자세판단을 수행하였다. 구현된 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 안내견이 인지하고 있는 자세를 오르막 계단 자세, 내리막 계단 자세, 오르막길, 내리막길 및 평지와 정지 상태로 나누웠으며 시각장애인의 안전을 위한 행동인 불복종명령 상태을 포함한 7가지의 행동에 대한 판별 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 안내견 행동 규칙 인식 성공률은 평균 92.78%로 나타났으며, 안내견 하네스 행동알림 시스템의 실제 적용 시 유용성을 확인하였다.

가미시마 야츠시로 신사(神島八代神社) 소장 재갈의 계보 (Lineage of Horse Bridle Kept in Yatsushiro Shrine in Kamishima)

  • 일본 이세만(伊勢灣) 바다의 가미시마(神島)에 있는 야츠시로(八代) 신사에는 거울을 중심으로 한 많은 중요문화재가 소장되어 있다. 그 중에 표비(??)가 포함되어 있는데, 통일신라시대 및 고려시대의 마구 계보와 연결되고 있음을 확신할 수 있다. 그와 유사한 사례를 포함하여 형식분류와 야츠시로 신사 소장 재갈의 위치 정립을 시행하였다. A형 재갈은 3형식으로 분류할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 야츠시로 신사 소장 재갈의 연대는 상대적으로 가장 늦은 단계의 형식에 속한다. 또한 이들 재갈을 제작하던 공방은 철기제작, 청동기제작, 단조 및 주조 기술을 보유하고 있던 공방이지만, 그 가운데 철기제작 기술과 형태를 우선하는 공방군으로 볼 수 있었다. 이들 재갈을 말에 장착했을 때, 외부에서 보이는 부분을 동합금으로 제작하고 함(銜) 및 입문(立聞)의 각부는 철 소재로 하는 등 청동기제작기술과 철기제작기술을 복합시켜 장식성과 실용성을 높이는 제작과정을 보이고 있다.

와이어링 PVC 테이프 내구 수명 예측 (Prediction Method of Useful Life of PVC Tape for Wiring Harness)

  • Phenomenon, such as hardening, cracking or breaking etc.. of PVC tape for wiring harness by aging were detected on driven automobile in field. Hardening or cracking of PVC tape were confirmed decline of elongation by surrounding stress. The accelerated heat aging test was carried out applying temperature most important factor of aging, and then deduced an equation of useful life using arrhenius model. Prediction method of useful life of PVC tape was developed using miner rule calculating damage value by thermal energy classified temperature by matching deduced equation of useful life and measured temperature value on driven automobile in field.

  • An approach to providing computational support with an expert shell is discussed with the scope of an industrial wire harness design, especially at a manufacturing stage. Key issues include the development of an architecture that supports a frequent design change among engineers associated with different parts of the wiring design process and the development of hierarchical representations that capture the different characteristics (e.g., connectivity, configuration) of the harnesses. The abstraction of design information results in features, while the abstraction of drawing elements leads to the definition of objects. These abstractions are essential for efficient transactions among people and computer tools in a domain that involves numerous interacting constraints. In this paper the strategy for the problem decomposition, the definition of features, and the ways in which features are shared by various operations and design changes, are discussed. We conclude with a discussion of some of the issues raised by the project and the steps underway to address them.

  • An approach to providing computational support for concurrent design is discussed in the context of an automobile wiring harness design problem. Key issues include the development of an architecture that supports collaboration among specialists, the development of hierarchical representations that capture different characteristics of the design, and decomposition of tasks to achieve a tradeoff between efficiency and robustness of the system. We present an architecture in which the main design tasks are supported by agents-asynchronous and semi-autonomous modules that automate routine design tasks and provide specialized interfaces for working on particular aspects of the design. The agent communication and coordination mechanisms permit members of an engineering team to work concurrently, at different levels of detail and of different versions of the design. The design is represented hierarchically, with detailed models maintained by the participating agents. In conjunction with the architecture and design representations, issues pertaining to the exchange of information among different views of the design, management of dependencies and constraints, and propagation of design changes are discussed.

  • Due to the introduction of the electronic control systems, agricultural machine is getting complicated with its special function. The complex electronics system increases difficulty of maintenances in the wiring harness system. The heavy wiring harness has some poor reliability and workability in the production line of manufacture also. So, in this study, some small local control modules are developed to complement the difficulties with the benefits of distributed control system. All of the local control modules are connected by using CAN communication. This system developed this study has the advantages of modification or alteration of wiring and local modules. All the sensors and actuators can be easily monitored and controlled by the main controller with the appropriate communication protocol made by in this study.

  • The terminal and core(wire conductor) in a Harness processing is connected by putting them in a applicator by virtue of a manual operation. A normal or abnormal condition of crimping connections is nearly determined by a skilled worker. In general, a skilled worker operates a press motor with a foot switch by pressing on foot and puts a wire conductor into a press with one hand. By doing so, sufficient efficiency is not obtained by a worker. In this paper, a basic study has done to make improve an efficiency by finding the normal arrangement out as to whether a terminal and wire conductor in Harness are placed on the right position or not with a quadrant plane photo position sensor.

  • 본 논문은 머쉰비전기반 자동검사를 위한 대상 이미지영상 검출에 관한 연구결과로서, 영상카메라에 의한 자동 비전검사의 과정에서 요구되는 시험대상물의 위치와 방향에 상관없이 검사대상의 영상을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 검사대상으로서 와이어 하네스 제조과정에서 실제 적용할 수 있는 기술과 방법을 개발하여 실제 시스템으로 구현한 결과를 제시한다.

An Autonomous Operational Service System for Machine Vision-based Inspection towards Smart Factory of Manufacturing Multi-wire Harnesses

  • In this study, we propose a technological system designed to provide machine vision-based automatic inspection and autonomous operation services for an entire process related to product inspection in wire harness manufacturing. The smart factory paradigm is a valuable and necessary goal, small companies may encounter steep barriers to entry. Therefore, the best approach is to develop towards this approach gradually in stages starting with the relatively simple improvement to manufacturing processes, such as replacing manual quality assurance stages with machine vision-based inspection. In this study, we consider design issues of a system based on the proposed technology and describe an experimental implementation. In addition, we evaluated the implementation of the proposed technology. The test results show that the adoption of the proposed machine vision-based automatic inspection and operation service system for multi-wire harness production may be considered justified, and the effectiveness of the proposed technology was verified.

  • This paper predicted the thermal conductivity of spun carbon/phenolic composites by the thermal resistance method. This method uses the analogy between the diffusion of heat and electrical charge. To verify the theoretical predictions, the thermal conductivity of spun carbon/phenolic composites was examined experimentally. The reported thermal conductivities of graphite/epoxy composite of a eight harness satin laminate was used of the comparison with the prediction values of the model and it was noticed that a good agreement has been found.
