SPM 이안 선박의 조종영역에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Maneuvering Area of Ship in Moving at Single Point Mooring)

  • SPM, which is an abbreviation of Single Point Mooring, also called as SBM(Single Buoy Mooring), is a special buoy besides the quays of the harbor for mooring ships, and is normally a 3m wide cone or cylinder shaped steel drum fixed underwater so it won't move, and is used for mooring cargo-work at outer port by laid-up ships and large crude oil carrier. The work of VLCC SPM mainly is accomplished on the open sea. On the open sea as a result of meteorological condition and the ocean wave influence, When the weather condition is get bed, peremptorily moving to the safety place, because of the gale and the billow, almost happened frequently, the pilot is unable to go on board and the tug is also unable to be used Now because of the bad weather the VLCC SPM moving to the other safety place frequently happened in the ulsan port. the construction of new harbor, it constructed many break water around SPM. So that it is necessary to propose the new standard about how to maneuvering area actually. The standard for handling ranges of the SPM operations was tested and verified by a simulation.. So that it is necessary to propose the new standard about how to maneuvering area actually.

Impact Analysis on the Coastal Erosion and Accretion due to Relocation of the Breakwaters

  • Recently it was known that the problems of nearshore processes and damage of berth and counter facilities frequently had appeared at the small fishery port, such as Daebang near Samcheonpo city, Korea. Here we try to analyze the impact of the rearrangement of counter facilities and berth layout adopted for tranquility of its inner harbor. Because this harbor is being connected to Daebang channel, the rearrangement of the structures might affect to the current speed and direction and wave height, so do to the sea bottom undulation. Therefore, we made model test for the several layouts of the berth and breakwater in this area. Numerical model result shows that the bottom was eroded by 1m by tidal currents and the speed of flow did not shrink, even after the construction work was completed. The direction of the sand movement was downdrift. Although the model study gave reasonable description of beach processes and approach channel sedimentation mechanism, it is necessary to compare with the field history, including the records of waves, tides and bottom materials, etc. for better prediction.

항만공사에 이용되는 널말뚝의 내진설계 (Seismic Design of Sheet Pile Walls Used in Harbor Construction)

  • 본 연구에서는 항만공사에 이용되는 캔틸레버식 널말뚝 및 앵커로 지지된 널말뚝의 내진설계를 위한 해석방법의 제시가 이루어졌다. 제시된 해석방법은 침투에 의한 수압 및 유효수평응력의 변화를 고려하였으며, 또한 Mononobe-Okabe 토압이론 및 Westergaard, Matsuo-Ohara의 동수압 계산식이 적용되었다. 아울러 앵커로 지지된 널말뚝의 경우에 대해 안전율의 크기 선택에 관한 비교가 이루어졌으며, 또한 조밀한 모래지반의 경우에 대해, 준설저면의 경사각, 널말뚝 양쪽면의 수위차, 앵커의 위치, 벽마찰각 등이 근입깊이, 앵커하중 및 최대모멘트에 미치는 영향이 분석되었다. 이외에도 조밀한 모래지반에 설치되는 앵커로 지지된 널말뚝의 예비설계를 위한 표의 제시가 이루어졌으며, 본 연구 해석방법의 적용범위는 자유지지법의 경우로 한정된다.

광정횡월류위어의 월류량 산정식 개발 (Development of Discharge Formula for Broad Crested Side Weir)

  • 본 연구에서는 De Marchi 유량계수 개념을 이용하여 상대적으로 폭이 넓은 개수로에서 광정횡월류위어 유량계수에 대한 위어 상류단 프루드수($Fr_1$), 위어 높이(h), 위어 길이(L), 위어 폭(W), 본류 폭(B)의 영향 및 예언횡월류위어의 유량계수와 광정횡월류위어의 유량계수의 상관성을 실험적으로 확인하였다. 분석 결과 폭이 넓은 개수로 흐름 조건에서는 본류 흐름 조건의 영향이 약화되고 위어 자체의 기하학적 형상에 의한 영향이 강화되기 때문에 예연횡월류위어와 광정횡월류위어 유량계수의 상호연관성이 상대적으로 약화되는 것으로 나타났으며, 차원해석을 통하여 $Fr_1$, h/$y_1$, L/B, W/($y_1-h$) 등 4개의 변수가 영향이 큰 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 실험 결과를 바탕으로 회귀분석을 통하여 새로운 광정횡월류위어 유량계수 산정식을 제안하였다.

속초 연안의 장기 파랑관측 및 분석 (Long-term Wave Monitoring and Analysis Off the Coast of Sokcho)

  • 동해 중부에 위치한 속초항 연안에서 약 11년간 취득한 파랑자료를 스펙트럼법과 파별분석법을 사용하여 분석하고 대표적인 파랑 특성을 검토하였다. 유의파고는 동계에 크고 하계에 작으며, 첨두주기도 동계에 길고 하계에 짧은 특성을 나타내었다. 관측된 최대 유의파고는 8.95 m 였으며 동해선풍에 의하여 발생되었다. 유의파고와 첨두주기 모두 그 분포 형태를 Generalized Gamma 및 Generalized Extreme Value 분포함수보다는 Kernel 분포함수가 보다 잘 재현하였다. 한편, 인근 해역에서의 설계 및 시공에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 파고 자료를 월별 및 파고 구간별로 세분하고 누적출현율을 제시하였다.

조석환경변화를 고려한 목포항의 고극조위 산정 (Frequency Analysis of Extreme High Water Level at Mokpo Harbor Considering Tidal Environment Changes)

  • 영산강하구언과 영암 및 금호방조제 건설과 같은 대규모 간척사업에 따라 목포해역에는 조석확폭현상이 발생되어 저지대 침수를 야기한바 있다. 목포항에서의 조위자료를 검토해 보면 방조제 건설단계별로 평균만조위 뿐 아니라 고극조위가 \"jump\"된 현상을 볼 수 있다. 따라서 기존 설계조위를 전면적으로 재검토해야 할 필요성이 제기되어 왔다. 이때 빈도해석에 이용되는 자료는 현재상태인 금호방조제 건설이후의 자료에 국한되어야 한다. 그러나 고극조위 극치분석에 사용될 수 있는 자료는 아직까지 6년 정도에 불과하기 때문에 정상적인 빈도해석에는 문제가 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 수치모형을 이용해 과거자료를 현재자료로 변환시켜 적용하는 방안을 제안하였으며, 이에 따라 32년 간의 변환된 자료와 6년 간의 최근자료 등 총 38년 간의 풍부한 자료를 이용하여 정상적인 빈도해석이 가능하게 되었다. 가능하게 되었다.

Coastal Circulation and Bottom Change due to Ocean Resort Complex Development

  • On the basis of the potentials for the growth of local economy and the result of investigation of the ocean space development status, an ocean resort complex was proposed at the small harbor with a parallel beach in the east coast of Korea. As the development plan needs to reclaim the noticeable amount of coastal water area together with the applied shore facilities, it is necessary to analyze their impacts. Here, it was intended to analyze the coastal environment change such as water circulation and bottom change because of the development plan. A horizontal two-dimensional numerical model was applied to represent the combined impact of wind waves and tidal currents to sediment transport in that coastal region. Based on the result of 30 days tidal current simulations considering major four tidal components of $M_2$,$S_2$,$K_1$ and $O_1$ for the upper and lower boundaries and wind field data, bottom change was discussed. Flow velocities were not changed much at outer breakwater of Yangpo harbor. Bottom was eroded by maximum 1.7m after construction but some locations such as lee side of outer breakwater and some islets near the entrance shows isolated accretions. Although it needs more field observations for bottom change in the period of construction, the numerical calculation shows that there exist small impacts near the entrance area and coastal boundaries because of the development.

동해 파랑관측 자료를 활용한 포물선형 평형해안선 식의 타당성 조사 (Performance Test of Parabolic Type Equilibrium Shoreline Formula Using Wave Data Observed in East Sea)

  • The present study investigated the validity of an equilibrium shoreline empirical formula for real phenomena. Among three types of equilibrium shoreline formulas, Hsu's parabolic type static formula was employed, which is well-known and the most practical for shoreline estimation after coastal or harbor structure construction. The wave data observed at Maengbang beach and the CERC formula on longshore sediment transport were used in the present investigation. A comparison study was only conducted for the case of a shoreline change after the construction of a groyne. Reasonable agreement was seen between the observed wave data and the data obtained under a wave angle spreading function S = 3.5. However, significant changes were observed when S increased. Thus, careful application is required when using Hsu's formula.

ADS 최적화 프로그램을 이용한 사석 방파제의 경제성 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Economic Design of Rubble Mould Breakwaters Using ADS(Automated Design Synthesis) Optimization Program)

  • In this paper, the method of determining the economically-optimal design section of rubble mound breakwater, using ADS program, was studied to supplement the deterministic approach. First of all, the design waves are computed, according to the return periods, using the Weibull distribution from the data of waves at the location of the breakwater. In order to take an optimal section, according to the return periods, the ADS program was used. The restriction conditions and objective functions are decided from the references of the specifications and standard manuals for Coastal and Harbor Construction Work. Results from this study support the ADS program as an appropriate method for determining the economically-optimal section of rubble mound breakwater, comparing the construction costs and the initial and damage repair costs for its life time.

PBD의 유효등가경 평가에 관한 연구 (Study on Estimation of Equivalent Circle of Plastic Board Drain)

  • In order to design accurately plastic board drain (PBB) method, it is important to determine the equivalent circle of PBD. In this paper, a series of numerical analyses on soft ground improved by PBD were carried out, in order to investigate the resonable equivalent circle of PBD considering consolidation behavior of improved soft ground by PBD. The applicability of numerical analyses, in which an elasto-viscoplastic three-dimensional consolidation finite element method was applied, could be confirmed comparing with results of a series of model tests on consolidation behaviors of soft ground improved by PBD. And, through the results of the numerical analyses, consolidation behaviors of soft ground during consolidation was elucidated, together with the equivalent circle of PBD considering consolidation behaviors.
