Load transfer experiments have been carried out to evaluate the performance of the anchorage and it has been stated that the specimens were manufactured and tested according to ETAG 013. On the other hand, the amount of spiral reinforcement and auxiliary reinforcement exceeded the amount specified in ETAG 013. In this study, the load transfer test method and the criteria specified in ETAG 013 were considered and the PT anchorage system was applied to manufacture specimens with high strength concrete and a high tensile prestressing strand. A load transfer test according to ETAG 013 was performed to evaluate the performance of the circular anchorage. As a result, it was confirmed that ETAG 013 is a very strict specification that does not satisfy the performance of an anchorage unless the specimens of an appropriate size and spiral reinforcement are used. To assess the stability of the specimens, increasing the size of the specimen by 15%, rather than increasing the amount of auxiliary reinforcement, is considered to be the correct method in accordance with ETAG 013.
It is sometimes said lately that the pH of the human gastric juice is significantly different among individuals. Thus, the dissolution behavior of coated solid dosage forms should preferably be independent of the pH of the test solution. With these points as a background, the effect of pH on the dissolution velocity of coated tablets was studied to compare that of Pharmacoat with other gastric soluble film coating materials. Three viscosity types of Pharmacoat have been available(3, 6 and 15cP) until now. the 6cP type has been considered to be the most suitable for a tablet coating amongst the three types. The 3 cP type with a low degree of polymerization, is capable of providing high concentration, but the film strength is so inferior that sometimes cracking of the film may occur. On the other hand, in the case of the 15cP type, high polymer concentration cannot be achieved because of the high dgree of polymerization, and thus it is uneconomical for coating. Now, there is a strong demand to reduce the coating time even when HPMC is used in the 6cP type in order to reduce the coating cost. In order to improve this problem, we have concentrated our attention on reducing the viscosity value of HPMC to an allowable lower limit from 6cP. As a result of this study, it was found that the reduction of the viscosity value to around 4.5cP enabled the use of a higher solution concentration and an incidental shorter coating time without giving any substantial adverse effects on the properties of coated preparations. These experiment results are presented in the later part of this presentation. Based on this study, we have added the viscosity type of 4.5cP as one of the Pharmacoat products as Pharmacoat-645.

Although the importance of research methodoogy in library and information science(LIS) has been widely recognized, LIS has been also criticized that current research methodology in the field maintains only the positivistic orientation. Researchers on the other hand, assert that US should be studied as a human study, a subjective approach based on a phenomenological perspective, since US has very much to do. with the 'human factor,' with subjectivity in the form of librarian, patron, and administrator. In this paper, a review of the published qualitative research in the field which try to generate theories from the subjects in their own everyday life situation, attempts to shed light on the implication of a new terrain of everyday life research to US. Theory of everyday life is generated by the subjects who are involved in the social relationship, using their own language. It is a theory which shows the logic of the real world in which the everyday man recognize, act and communicate. This includes the perceptions, feelings, and meanings members experience as well as the 'small world' they create in process. Everyday life research performed using qualitative research methods which have strength to investigate this micro-structure applied to the field of library and information science, may bring enrichment to the library and information science research.
Commercial Zr-based amorphous alloy was recycled and oxygen was introduced during the recycling process. The oxygen content can have a great effect on the glass forming ability and the mechanical properties of the alloy. Therefore, it was closely examined. The initial oxygen content in the raw material was 1,244 ppm. It was increased to 3,789 ppm in the alloy after ten recycling processes. As the recycling processes were repeated, the oxygen content increased. Specifically, after four recycling processes, it increased sharply as compared to that after three recycling processes. After ten recycling processes, the glass transition temperature (Tg) increased from 613 K to 634 K and the crystallization temperature (Tx) increased from 696 K to 706 K. On the other hand, the super-cooled liquid region (${\Delta}T=Tx-Tg$) decreased slightly from 83 K to 72 K while the reduced glass transition temperature (Trg = Tg/Tm) was 0.63, remaining constant even when the oxygen content was increased. These results indicated that the increased oxygen content deteriorated the glass forming ability. The bending strength as determined in a three-point bending test showed a sharp decrease from 3,055 to 2,062 MPa as the oxygen content was increased from 1,244 ppm to 3,789 ppm; the extension was also decreased from 3.02 to 1.74 mm. These findings meant that the alloy became brittle.
Objective: The purpose of this study is to apply exercise learning effect to various subjects through training effect and information accumulation based on verification of the effect on dumbbell curl exercises applied with virtual reality. Method: To analyze the effect on the dumbbell curl exercise in the virtual environment, a total of 20 persons with 10 males and 10 females who does not have orthopedics diseases were selected. The dumbbell weight of the subjects was set to a weight of 70% strength of 1RM. At this time, the virtual environment situation was set to four types; presence/absence of virtual environment, preferred colors, and unfavorable colors to perform dumbbell curl exercise. The anaysis of muscle activity was conducted by adhering four surface electrodes (Biceps Brachii, Triceps Brachii, Brachioradialis Muscle, Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus Muscle) on the right upper limbs. Independent sample t-test using SPSS (24.0) program was carried out to analyze average values and standard deviations for each variable depending on the presence/absence of virtual environments and changes in color (preferred colors, unfavorable colors) and the level of significance was set to a=.05. Results: In the eccentric contraction, males showed high muscle activity in the Biceps Brachii under virtual reality. On the other hand, females had high muscle activity in the Biceps Brachii in the absence of virtual reality. Also, in case of a change of colors in the virtual environment, females had the high muscle activity in the unfavorable color in the eccentric contraction. Conclusion: During the dumbbell curl exercise, results of different exercises present depending on gender. When males put VR on and performs a basic dumbbell curl exercise, the effect of Biceps presents Brachii for them while exercising in unfavorable colors. However, since it is the basic research data of muscle exercise using virtual reality, it is necessary to verify whether or not it is effective for myopachynsis through long-term training rather than unity.

Network externality can be defined as the effect that one user of a good or service has on the value of that product to other people. When a network externality is present, the value of a product or service is dependent on the number of others using it. There exist asymmetries in network externalities between the online and traditional offline marketing channels. Technological capabilities such as interactivity and real-time communications enable the creation of virtual communities. These user communities generate significant direct as well as indirect network externalities by creating added value through user ratings, reviews and feedback, which contributes to eliminate consumers' concern for buying products without the experience of 'touch and feel'. The offline channel offers much less scope for such community building, and consequently, almost no possibility for the creation of network externality. In this study, we analyze the effect of network externality on the competition between online and conventional offline marketing channels using game theory. To do this, we first set up a two-period game model to represent the competition between online and offline marketing channels under network externalities. Numerical analysis of the Nash equilibrium solutions of the game showed that the pricing strategies of online and offline channels heavily depend not only on the strength of network externality but on the relative efficiency of online channel. When the relative efficiency of online channel is high, the online channel can greatly benefit by the network externality. On the other hand, if the relative efficiency of online channel is low, the online channel may not benefit at all by the network externality.
This study aimed at offering basic data to develop a new use of sawdust and rice husk. Research investigated the variation of density, weight loss and dimensional decreasing rate by the percentage of resin impregnation and carbonization temperature of ceramics, which were formed by the percentage of resin impregnation of 40~80% and carbonization of $600{\sim}1200^{\circ}C$ with board impregnated with phenolic resin made from sawdust and rice husk. The results of this study were as follows:1) As the percentage of resin impregnation increased, the thickness shrinkage and weight loss were decreased; on the other hand, density and modulus of rupture increased. Meanwhile, the carbonization temperature at $1200^{\circ}C$ showed the highest values, as the density was $0.81g/cm^3$ and the bending strength was $77.9kgf/cm^2$ in the percentage of resin impregnation at 70%. 2) As the carbonization temperature grew higher the linear shrinkage, thickness shrinkage and weight loss increased while the density increased until the carbonization temperature of $1000^{\circ}C$; but then decreased slightly at $1200^{\circ}C$.

The purpose of this study was to examine changes in nutrient intake in patients at nutritional risk. We included 106 malnourished patients who were admitted to Severance Hospital from March to September 2014. The average age was $59.0{\pm}11.6$ years old and 59 patients were male (59.7%). The majority of diagnosis was cancer (94.3%). We evaluated patients' nutritional status by scored patient-generated subjective global assessment (PG-SGA), anthropometric measurement (height, weight, body composition by Bioelectrical impedance analysis), hand grip strength, biochemical and dietary assessment. The patients' daily intakes of energy and protein ($1,019.5{\pm}706.4kcal$, $40.4{\pm}27.7g$) during hospitalization were significantly lower than their usual intakes ($1,382.0{\pm}499.8kcal$, $54.4{\pm}25.1g$, P<0.001). Serum levels of albumin, cholesterol, and total lymphocytes were significantly reduced during hospital stay. The negatively influencing factors for reduced dietary intake were anorexia (42.5%), abdominal distention (14.2%), pain (13.2%), and others. The results of this study could be used to establish baseline data for developing new strategies for nutritional intervention in malnourished patients.
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term performance of various concrete composites in natural marine environment prevailing in the Gulf region. Durability assessment studies of such nature are usually carried out under aggressive environments that constitute seawater, chloride and sulfate laden soils and wind, and groundwater conditions. These studies are very vital for sustainable development of marine and off shore reinforced concrete structures of industrial design such as petroleum installations. First round of testing and evaluation, which is presented in this paper, were performed by standard tests under laboratory conditions. Laboratory results presented in this paper will be corroborated with test outcome of ongoing three years field exposure conditions. The field study will include different parameters of investigation for high performance concrete including corrosion inhibitors, type of reinforcement, natural and industrial pozzolanic additives, water to cement ratio, water type, cover thickness, curing conditions, and concrete coatings. Like the laboratory specimens, samples in the field will be monitored for corrosion induced deterioration signs and for any signs of failureover initial period ofthree years. In this paper, laboratory results pertaining to microsilica (SF), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), epoxy coated rebars and calcium nitrite corrosion inhibitor are very conclusive. Results affirmed that the supplementary cementing materials such as GGBS and SF significantly impacted and enhanced concrete resistivity to chloride ions penetration and hence decrease the corrosion activities on steel bars protected by such concretes. As for epoxy coated rebars applications under high chloride laden conditions, results showed great concern to integrity of the epoxy coating layer on the bar and its stability. On the other hand corrosion inhibiting admixtures such as calcium nitrite proved to be more effective when used in combination with the pozzolanic additives such as GGBS and microsilica.
Theories of international organization have explained the creation, maintenance, and decline of international organization. However, their explanations on changes of international organization have been much more different one another. For example, the theory of hegemonic stability argues that international organization can be created and maintained only by a hegemonic state and will be declined if the hegemonic state decline. On the other hand, the functional approach believes that the positive functions and effects that international organization provides motivate states to create and maintain the organization, while the game-theoretical approach explains international organization based on cost-benefit calculation of rational states. Thus, the empirical evaluation of the arguments of the theories of international organization and defining the major factors that determine international organization are necessary not only for the development of theories of international organization but also for making desirable policies toward international organization. For the purpose, this paper compares and contrasts the three major theories of international organization and applies the approaches to the case of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to test their arguments. Since the ICAO has been rarely examined by the theories of international organization, the case study could be desirable case to evaluate theories of international organization. In this sense, this paper attempts to define the major factors that determine the creation, maintenance, and decline of the ICAO. In particular, since the Korean government has changed its policy for air transport security system recently, it will investigate the role of ICAO on the policy change to define the limits and strength of ICAO. In conclusion, this paper will assess the relative explanatory power of each approach based on the analysis of the creation and changes of ICAO
