The purpose of this study is to analyze sexual images in the 21th century men's fashion, including phenomenal formative changes and characteristics. Theoretical framework was developed based on literature reviews. Photo images were collected from collections presented in 2001 to 2008 on the internet sites. By focusing on sexual image. men's fashion design was analyzed. Since 21th century, men have expressed their own fashion sense and sexual image quite freely. Men's fashion has expanded its scope into region which are not exclusively of men's traditional fashion identity realm. The result of this study is as follows: First, Noble Dandyism is common among noble dandies whose desired image is luxurious, soft, and sophisticated. Second, Bisexual Caportism is another appealing 'Youth is beautiful' trend of our modern age. Beyond age and gender, modern people pay a special attention to the Caports look which aims to project an image of healthiness, dynamism, youth, and pure balanced beauty combined with fashion. Third, Macho Narcissism enjoys showing and exposing well-trained and beautiful bodies, compared to the old masculine image which was more known for expressing an authoritative and dominant strength. Fourth, Homme Fatale Vampicism seeks to accentuate deconstructed femininity and bare legs, matted make-up, long and curly hair, especially aims to emphasize sexual charms, which naturally makes its image more fascinating.

This study aimed to examine emo fashion, a very recent music-related fashion trend spreading fast amongst youths, and understand emo ideas and methods of expression for a greater understanding of contemporary youth sub-cultures and fashion trends. Documentary research, positive research and in-depth interviews were used throughout the study. 4 Korean emo bands and 4 U.S. emo bands were selected based on music chart rankings, and a total of 37 photographs from the bands' Internet websites were selected, and their clothes shown in the photographs were examined. 5 Korean emo band musicians were subjects of in-depth interviews, and they were asked about their emo culture, music, fashion, ideas and styles, and photographs were taken of the subjects and evaluated, too. Lastly, Korean and U.S. emo kids were studied through photographs, and comparatively analyzed. Both Korean and U.S. emo musicians wore slim silhouettes, skinny jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, black, studded belts and plastic-framed glasses. Korean fashion expressed a less depressive atmosphere with color and other details compared to the United States, and did not prefer dark black eye make-up, which United States emo style appeared to express frequently. Korean musicians' emo fashion was closer to other youth fashions, whereas U.S. emo fashion included more formal styles such as ruffled shirts and pin-striped vests. Korean emo kids wore clothes not much different from most Korean youths, but U.S. emo kids wore a lot of eye make-up and black t-shirts with graphic or skull prints, and had more geometrical hair styles, as if cut at home. The reasons for such differences were found to be a longer emo music and culture history in the United States leading to more elaborate fashion expressions and a difference in the states of mind, such as Korea pursuing to express love, and the United States pursuing loneliness.

This was to confirm the Web-SFAS and street Fashion trend 2005. Korea women's street fashion in 2005 S/S was analyzed by using the Web-SFAS(Street Fashion Analysis System) that was developed and completed in the earlier research. Total 270 women who were sensitive to the fashion were surveyed around in 5 nationwide cities and 9 commercial zones. The analysis results of the questionnaire and image survey in 2005 S/S for each commercial zone is shown as follows: 1. The sequence of care with most interest in producing fashionable shape is in the order of clothes>accessory>hair style>make up>shoes, and it was found that the proper reason for visiting the commercial zone is to meet with friends than shopping. 2. Most preferred item for tops were shirts and T-shirts, while for bottoms were blue jeans of denim material in various colors and designs. The color had the clear winner in white color with the pink or yellow line of colors preferred in all commercial zones. The blue jeans and skirt items were the most dominant with the preference on the blue color. The color and image were diversely favored with light, natural, modern, elegance and warm images. 3. The semi-formal image was preferred in women's street fashion, 2005 S/S in Apgujeong-dong, Hapseong-dong, Myeong-dong, Hongik University area, Dongseong-ro, and the active comfort casual image was preferred by womens in Seo-myeon, Nampo-dong and Sangnam-dong. However the retro image were represented in Daehak-ro specially. The tendency of street fashion for women had the difference of their own trends for each commercial zone, rather then the regional differences for each city with the conspicuous preference of color for the items.

본 연구에서는 현재 상용화되고 있는 피트니스 IT의 현황을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 피트니스 IT 전망과 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 최근의 웨어러블 스마트 시장은 스마트워치 시장과 피트니스 트래커 시장으로 재편되고 있다. 피트니스 IT 기술의 대표적인 단말기인 피트니스 트래커는 시계, 밴드, 의류, 안경, 렌즈 등의 다양한 형태로 출시 및 연구개발 되고 있지만, 현재까지는 시계나 밴드형태의 제품이 가장 많으며, 클립형태, 목걸이, 머리끈 등의 방식으로도 출시되고 있다. 또한 모바일 플랫폼 시장의 양대 축으로 불리 우는 애플과 구글도 피트니스 사업 선점을 위한 건강관련 플랫폼을 제공하고 있다. 피트니스 IT의 전망은 피트니스 관련 웨어러블 기기가 소형화, 경량화 되는 추세로 볼 때 지속적인 성장세를 보이고 있다. 지속적 성장과 활성화를 위해서는 피트니스 IT 디바이스와 다양한 앱, 서비스들이 결합되는 매쉬업(mash-up), 사용자 환경의 편리성 확보, 그리고 디자인 요소와 가격의 합리성이 위한 노력이 필요할 것으로 예측된다.

조선후기는 근대 서민 문예의 부흥기로서, 서민문예의 대두와 더불어 일어난 서민계층의 등장은 복식에 있어서의 대중 복식 문화를 부각시키면서 복식의 유행현상이 나타나게 되었다. 이 시기 모든 계층의 여성 복식에서 공통적으로 풍미한 유행사조는 과장된 치마허리 그리고 둔부를 volume감 있게 강조한 치마등을 통해 여체를 드러낸 선정적인 silhouette이 나타났다. 유교 규범에 의해 억제되고 절제된 여성들의 복식행동(clothing behavior)에서 이처럼 육체를 긍정한다는 것은 사회의 일정한 진보단계에 위치한다고 보겠다. 그것은 Eroticism자체는 영원한 인간의 본능에 의존하겠지만, 이 Eroticism을 통하여 어떤 사회적 질곡을 벗어나려고 하는데에 있어서는 그 Eroticism의 발로가 사회적 의의를 가지는 것이다. 그러므로 조선후기의 여성복식에서의 Erotic Mode는 여성들 자신의 것인 동시에 그 사회의 것이며, 그것은 가식적이고 표면적인 유교적 도덕관의 외피 속에 흐르고 있는 인간성의 폭로이고, 그것을 표현할 수 있다는 데에 서민문예의 진보성과 근대성이 있는 것이다.

This thesis aims to investigate the characteristics of the civil costume in Netherlands women and the way how the civil culture was reflected on these by analyzing the women's costume depicted in the works of the Johannes Vermeer regarded as the representative painter of Netherlands in 17th century. The method of study was to select 24 pieces of Vermeer's works among the 30 pieces, and were analyzed in detail. These were approved to be common civil costumes by researching the works of other painters in that era on the other hand. The result shows that the civil costume of Netherlands women from 1653 until 1675 was in the simple form of two pieces dress, and minimal decorations with simple hair style and headdress would take the constitution of the frugality, chastity and practicality as the mainstream, along with using the red, yellow and blue as the primary three colors on to the costumes. These characteristics might be ascribed to the Netherlands civil culture influenced by the Calvinism that emphasized the frugality and chastity, denouncing the luxury with supporting the religion and morality. This trend was also noted in the men's costume, giving evidence of the intimate relationship between the costume, religion and civil culture. This thesis might be a help to elucidate the relationship between the costume and cultural society, and be a affordable tools to study the contemporary costume.

Old age is often compared as climbing mountains which requires walking out of breath, yet with wider vision. And it is also likened to the estuary where the river flows slowly and broadly into the open sea. Socially, old age has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom and reflection, and elderly people often take the role of sage who leads the community. On the other hand, the dementia, gray hair and wrinkles of old age were sometimes perceived as the decline of intellect and vitality. Especially, in the digital age in which technology makes people more sensitive to physical artificiality, the evaluation of the old age becomes more complex and obscure. In other words, some elderly people can not escape from Confucious convention of the elders first, which causes the denouncement by younger generations. On the other hand, some elderly people are becoming more adaptable to the trend of young people, emerging as the new elderly people. The anti-aging movement, early adaptation of IT, bioengineering regimen also strong for the advanced age. However, as the new elderly people are active in many fields of society, they also face intergenerational conflicts in some areas where remains the overlap between young people and them due to the limited openings in economy and culture. This study is a transdisciplinary research which can be called old age humanities. First of all, this paper looks at the aspects of lifestyles and intergeneration conflicts in old age in four Korean and Western literary works about the old people, and also searches how to improve the quality of the later life of old people, Overall, this paper aims to explore the way the old people can achieve the full life with the help of intergenerational dependency through building aging humanities and new communities for old people.

본 연구의 목적은 화장품 소비자들의 성향을 파악하고, 소비성향 요인을 중심으로 제품선택속성과 정보탐색행동에 어떠한 영향을 주는지에 대하여 영향관계를 알아보고자 한다. 이를 통해 화장품 시장의 차별화된 마케팅 전략수립 방안을 찾음으로서 기업 경영에 필요한 실무적 시사점을 제안하고 화장품 산업에서 마케팅 방향을 설정하는데 유용한 정보를 제공하고자 하는 것에 의의를 두고 있다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 각 변수의 요인을 추출한 결과 쇼핑성향은 유행추구 성향, 쾌락 추구 성향, 과시 추구 성향, 경제 추구 성향으로 도출되었고, 제품선택속성은 브랜드 요인, 서비스 요인, 마케팅 요인, 품질 요인으로 도출되었으며 정보탐색행동은 구매 전 탐색, 지속적 탐색으로 도출되었다. 변수 간 영향관계를 알아보기 위해 선행연구를 근거로 3개의 가설을 설정하였다. 검증한 결과 첫째, 소비성향은 제품선택속성에 부분적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소비성향은 정보탐색행동에 부분적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 제품선택속성은 정보탐색행동에 부분적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

유전 자원에 대한 접근 및 이용에 따른 이익의 공정한 공유를 표방하는 나고야 의정서가 발효되면서, 최근 국내 천연자원을 이용한 바이오 소재 및 제품 개발 연구에 많은 지원이 이뤄지고 있다. 국내 화장품 연구 및 개발 동향은 기존의 합성 화합물 중심에서 벗어나 안전성이 확보된 천연 바이오 소재 중심으로 변화하고 있다. 또한 기능성화장품의 범위가 기존에 크게 미백, 주름개선, 자외선 차단 3가지에서 염모, 탈모 완화, 여드름 완화, 아토피성 피부의 보습 등으로 세분화 및 추가됨으로써 화장품 연구 개발의 범위가 확대되었다. 이러한 기능성 화장품 범위 확대, 화장품 소재에 대한 안전성 규제 강화, 동물실험 금지 등 화장품 연구 환경 변화로 인해 다양한 천연물 기반의 생물학적 활성을 갖는 유효 성분들이 기능성 화장품 소재로 연구되는 사례가 점차 증가하고 있다. 충북은 바이오산업을 지역 특화산업으로 선정하여 바이오산업 육성을 위한 중부권의 오송생명과학단지/오창과학산업단지와 북부권 제천 바이오벨리 조성, 충주기업도시 등을 통해 바이오 제약 및 화장품 기업 유치 와 바이오 산업클러스터를 완성해 가고 있다. 이와 더불어 오송생명과학단지 내에 위치한 오송화장품임상연구지원센터는 충북 지역 중소 화장품 기업들의 글로벌 시장 진출 및 동남아 수출 지원을 위해 임상시험, 효능평가, 해외 인증, 해외시장 박람회 등의 지원을 중점적으로 수행하고 있다. 이러한 하드웨어 인프라 조성과 함께 충북의 천연 소재를 이용한 다양한 국책 연구 개발 사업을 추진하여 충북 특화자원인 황기, 오미자 뿐 아니라 두충, 익지인, 소목 등을 이용한 화장품 소재 개발 연구를 수행하고 있다. 충북지역 기업체 및 연구기관을 중심으로 천연물의 지표 및 유효 물질 원료 확보와 이를 활용한 기능성 화장품 제품화가 본격적으로 추진되고 있어 향후 충북 천연물 산업은 화장품 산업을 중심으로 더욱 성장해 나갈 것으로 기대된다.

People in the end of life and their families suffer in their physical disease and other aspects as a whole person. They need hospice care to palliate their total suffering in physical, emotional, social and also spiritual aspect through professional hospice team. To care their whole personal needs, hospice team must be a multi-discipline team which consists of medical doctors, nurses, social workers, pastors and volunteers. Recently those who die in hospice palliative care unit have trend to increase more than in home year by year. So it is necessary to develop the nursing intervention program to be performed by multi-discipline team approach for in-patient of hospice palliative care unit. The purposes of this study were to develop of wholistic hospice nursing intervention program for inpatient of hospice palliative care unit. The subjects of study were collected from 30 patients those who were over 18 years old and admitted in hospice palliative care unit of S hospital in P city with agreement in hospice palliative care in their terminal disease. The period of data collection was from December 15, 2003 to March 15, 2004. The result were as follows : 1. The result of Wholistic Hospice Nursing Program's development was as follow : A Wholistic Hospice Nursing Program was developed by me in this study is one of the service program for hospice palliative care unit. It was named as ‘Rainbow Program’ to be approached easily by hospice patients. The purposes of it are to improve the quality of life of the terminal patients with their dignity, to help them live in abundant and meaningful in their lives, to care them in peaceful in dying process with understanding them in whole personal, and also to palliate the grief and suffering of the bereaved. It was provided by hospice professionals(nurses, medical doctors, social worker, pastors, art therapists) and volunteers those who were educated in hospice for multi-diciplinary team approach to collaborate with each role play I 20-30 minuters of each through visiting their rooms individually and a place of hospice palliative care unit of S hospital in P city. The subjects of it were the terminal patients those who admitted hospice palliative care unit and their familes. with agreement in hospice palliative care in their terminal disease. The characteristics of it were multi-disciplinary team approach, whole personal care, individual care and total care according to their needs in their condition. The contents of it were pain control, symptom control, counseling patient, counseling family, hair cutting, hair shampooing, bed bath, recreation, taking a walk, event of culture(screen, recital, festival of praises, exhibition and so on), pastoral counseling, ritual service in bed, praying, service in bed, sing a worship praise, listening to the music, sharing remembrance of life, individual visiting music service(sing and praying), meditation Bible, art therapies(dance and drawing), social worker's counselling, confessing and sharing love and thanksgiving. The experimental group subjects participated in Wholistic Hospice Nursing Program which takes 120 minutes per session, total 10 sessions(total 1,200 minutes) altogether. In conclusion, this Wholistic Hospice Nursing Intervention can be used actively for whole personal well-being of the patients in hospice palliative in hospice palliative care unit and also applied in hospice practice as an useful model of multi-disciplinary team approach by hospice professionals.
