Tooth eruption disturbance is seen commonly in mixed dentition or early permanent dentition. During this period of time, children experience the growth and development of craniofacial skeleton and dentition, so the impaction and eruption disturbance of permanent teeth make many problems in oral and maxillofacial areas. Eruption guidance of impacted tooth is not simple because many factors related to impaction are considered. Several factors such as etiology, tooth development stage, location of impacted teeth or eruption pathway, patient cooperation, etc. need to be taken into consideration in deciding the management of the impacted tooth. In the present study, it was assessed the etiology and impaction status of impacted tooth through various cases, and try to explain the treatment method to guide eruption by surgical exposure.

The purpose of this study was closely to explore the guidance experiences of senior elementary teachers who have had over 30 years of teaching experiences in elementary school based on interpretive(or hermeneutic) inquiry. The entry research question was 'What are the guidance experiences of senior elementary teachers like?' Seven senior elementary teachers working for O elementary School in G city participated in this study voluntarily. Each participant was interviewed twice in a consecutive manner. 14 periods of interview were completed all together and each period took about 40-60 minutes. In conclusion, this study conceptualized the guidance experiences of the senior elementary teachers(participants) as follows: First, the concepts of guidance held by the participants were conceptualized as 1) supporting and caring activity helping students to lead joyful school life, 2) assisting activity helping students to grow on good basic life habits, 3) character building activity helping students to lead integrative growth. Second, the fields and contents of guidance held by the participants were conceptualized as basic life habits, manners, and health & safety. Interestingly, these concepts were evolved in connection with their personal, practical teaching experiences rather than in-service teacher education. Third, the guidance methods frequently used by the participants were co-work with parents, exemplary storytelling, counselling, and praise. The participants applied these methods differently according to the grade, individual difference, and school curriculum policy to some degree. Fourth, the participants have experienced a lot of struggles with students, teachers, and parents in doing their guidance practices throughout the whole teaching career. Their guidance experiences commonly shifted from more teacher-centered or authoritative to more student-centered or relational way as their teaching years accumulated. Interestingly, all the participants more or less lived as lifelong learners to create their own right space as senior teachers in today's competitive and challenging landscape. This study strongly suggests that responsible teacher education can playa great role of enabling senior teachers to cope with guidance issues successfully. Compared with the speedy social change, the teacher education in Korea had been so authoritative, provider-based, subject-based until recently and it have not met the needs and wants of the elementary teachers in field. This trend has significantly hindered them from catching up with the needs of the speedy social change in terms of contemporary guidance issues. This study is limited in that the data is solely collected based on interview. So, an observational research is strongly suggested in order to uncover the situated understanding of the guidance experiences of elementary senior teachers.

This study aims to explore how professors at community colleges are experiencing career guidance for their students, uncovering key components related to causes, phenomena, contexts, coping strategies, etc., and deriving a paradigm model to structurally. To achieve this objective, focus group interviews were conducted with a total of 23 community college professors, and the results were analyzed using the grounded theory method (Strauss & Corbin, 1998). The analysis yielded 17 categories and 31 subcategories. The central phenomenon in the career guidance of community college professors was categorized into two groups: the distress experience in career guidance and attitude changes toward interactions with students..Three categories of causal conditions contributing to the occurrence of the central phenomenon were identified: professors' lack of expertise in career guidance, students' scope and needs for career guidance, and students' low interest and expectations. Additionally, four contextual conditions corresponding to special situations or circumstances that contributed to the central phenomenon were identified: increasing demand for career guidance, excessive burden and time constraints for career guidance, lack of communication about career guidance at the institutional level, and limitations within the career guidance support system. Furthermore, the study uncovered patterns of action-interaction, mediating conditions, and outcomes. This study is expected to contribute to a better understanding of the actual experiences of college professors in the career guidance process, and to stimulate consideration of the types of support required for effective career guidance for college professors in the future.

Background: To explored the value of 3D C-arm CT (CACT) guidance system in performing radiofrequency ablation (RFA) following transarterial chemoembolizationon (TACE) for hepatocellular carcinomas. Materials and Methods: RFA of hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) were performed on 15 patients (21 lesions) with the assistance of CACT guidance system. Technical success, procedure time, complications and patient radiation exposure were investigated. The puncture performance level was evaluated on a five-point scale (5-1: excellent-poor). Complete ablation rate was evaluated after two months follow-up using enhanced CT scans. Results: The technical success rate of RFA procedure under CACT navigation system was 100 %. Mean total procedure time was $24.24{\pm}6.53min$, resulting in a mean effective exposure dose of $15.4{\pm}5.1mSv$. The mean puncture performance level rated for CACT guided RFA procedure was $4.87{\pm}0.35$. Complete ablation (CA) was achieved in 20 (95.2%) of the treated 21 tumors after the first RFA session. None of patients developed intra-procedural complications. Conclusions: 3D CACT guidance system enables reliable and efficient needle positioning by providing real-time intraoperative guidance for performing RFA on HCCs.

The purpose of this study was to develop teaching-learning method for reading guidance librarians in Korean Library and Information Science. Even though it was an increase of needs for reading guidance librarians in libraries, reading education courses provided by LIS in Korea lacked. Also, most reading education courses of LIS stressed knowledge-oriented education than the practice of reading program design or reading experience. So this study developed the teaching-learning method of the self-directed learning for the activities of post-reading portfolio, management of reading program for motivation, and the team-projected learning for the design of reading program.

Objective : This study aimed to evaluate the clinical feasibility of the combination of ultrasound and nerve stimulator guidance in transforaminal epidural steroid injections (TESIs) to manage lumbosacral chronic radicular pain. Methods : Using the combination of nerve stimulator and ultrasound guidance, TESIs were performed in 125 segments of 78 patients who presented with chronic lumbar radicular pain. Demographic characteristics and surgical outcomes were recorded on admission, pre-procedural and post-procedural for 1-week, 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month follow-ups. The result was measured using the Numeric rating scale (NRS) and Oswestry disability index (ODI). Results : Patients who received TESIs showed significant improvements on two evaluation tools (NRS, ODI), compared to that before procedure (p<0.001). No significant complications were observed for 6 months' follow-up. Conclusion : The result suggests that a combination of ultrasound and nerve stimulator guidance in transforaminal epidural injections is safe, reliable and effective for short-term management of lumbar disc herniation. It is a promising technique and has shown good results in providing intermediate pain relief.

The objectives of this study were to explore the difficulties of high school mathematics teachers while guiding students and to examine whether the perception of difficulties varied by gender, position, and work experience. This study randomly chose 36 mathematics teachers as participants and they were living in six cities or provinces in South Korea. The results showed that teachers experienced difficulties while guiding students, in student evaluation and teaching and learning methods, in the order of magnitude. There was no statistical difference by gender, position, and work experience. Unlike the results of previous studies suggesting that mathematics content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge would help students guide students, the results of this study revealed that they had relatively little impact on student guidance.

Objectives: This video has been produced to provide better awareness for our patients about radiotherapy treatment for anxiety and stress. This video will give inexperienced patients a better understanding of the processes and expectations of the radiotherapy. We have produced a radiotherapy guidance video regarding work flow and a method of radiotherapy to relieve anxiety and stress. It also improves patients satisfaction and understanding of radiotherapy to provide a high-quality health care for radiotherapy patients with indirect experience. Methods: We have evaluated the effectiveness of the video compared to our existing verbal method. See below for the evaluation criteria; 1) Patients satisfaction rate of guidance 2) a comparison of understanding of radiotherapy 3) a comparison of a time of education for patients 4) a researching of an incidence rate of radiotherapy. Results: When compared to the verbal explanation the patients had a increased level of understanding of the radiotherapy treatment. The time to educate patient was decreased and the level of incidents during the treatment was decreased due to the patient having a better understanding of the whole process. Conclusion : In conclusion, the audiovisual education increased the understanding of radiotherapy for patients compared to verbal education. The video also helped patients to cooperate in treatment room so we can provide premium radiotherapy treatment. By reducing the treatment time and education processa we improved the patients overall experience.

Korean uses a dual numeral system consisting of native and Chinese words. This dual numerical system is customarily selected in real life, mixed with two methods, or irregularly transformed. Therefore, the burden on both students and teachers is increased in the learning guidance process of numeral. This study recognized the need to improve the difficulty of learning guidance due to the dual numeral system. To this end, the context in which the numeral system method is selected, various modified cases, and related guidance contents of the current curriculum and textbooks were analyzed and organized. As a result of the analysis, there were characteristics of the selection and deformation of the numeral system method, which appears according to the actual situation using numerical. However, the criteria for characteristics were ambiguous and there were no specific guidance guidelines in the curriculum and textbooks. In this case, since the role of the teacher is more important, the teacher should be aware of the detailed characteristics of the actual situation related to the dual numeral system and let the student understand through experience and practice on various aspects of the use of the dual numeral system.
