The best feature of Hotels is they have 24 business hours providing various services. But Interior designers can't change space to answer every demands, it's mood can be changed by lighting design. Especially guest rooms have complex functions like space with habitability and office use. Well planed lighting design in guest rooms is an essential element to help creating interior space in designer's intention with cozy feeling. Here this study is purposed to present a desirable lighting environment satisfying future-oriented function and design throughout the latest examples' analysis of guest room carrying out various functions in hotels.

With the change of the times, the hotel industry of modern city also becomes diversified. Especially the appearance of boutique hotels gives customers a new understanding of hotels. Boutique hotels are different from ordinary hotels which only provide accommodation. It provides customers with different experiences and innovation space of life style. Therefore, the appearance of boutique hotels could be considered as the mature performance of hotel industry. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to discuss the design features of guest rooms of boutique hotels. The methodologies of this research are to investigate the concept and characteristics of boutique hotels, to grasp the direction of the guest room design and to come to the conclusion using the method of case study. The scope of this research is based on the hotel design characteristics mentioned in preliminary studies of Korea and China (after 2010). The guest room design characteristics of boutique hotels are classified. The scope of the selected examples is the 20 boutique hotels opened in recent 5 years (newly opened or re-opened) since 2010, in which there are 2 Korean cases and 18 foreign cases. Chapter 4 classifies the guest room design characteristics of boutique hotels into four characteristics of hybrid, experiential, regional and environmental by literature review.

Themed hotels is a new form of hotel development that is rising at home and abroad. In the hospitality industry has a leading position. And The design of the themed hotel is different from tradition as hotel as it more innovative. People are attracted to themed hotel for its' unique interior design especially the guest room. For the sake of promoting the themed hotel's running better, guest room design characteristics can't be neglected. Therefore, this paper will analyze the characteristics of the guest's room design in the themed hotel. This paper initially narrates the concept, features and current situation, and then makes an analysis about the types of theme hotels in combination with examples. Secondly, through the thesis analysis of prior research, key words, hybridity, interactions, symbolic, diversity and regionalism about features of rooms in theme hotel are given. Finally, examples about theme hotels at home and abroad opened after 2005 are taken as the center, through which features of rooms in each theme hotel are analyzed. By the analysis of conclusion, basic current situation of rooms in theme hotels is given. The findings of this research will provide a reference to design the guest's room of the themed hotel.

It has been true that major investment among local business hotels were placed in furniture design character as there are increasing number of international events hosted by Korea. The study, under these circumstances, as a study In advance to see the design feature and trend of local business hotel's guest room furniture, has done interview with guest room manager, photographing of rooms, actual survey for analysing guest room plane surface, etc., researcher directly visiting 15 hotels that have special first grade businessmen only floor in Seoul. In addition, a survey has been done to know if each hotel room and furniture has particular image, from this survey the design feature of local business hotel's guest room has been analysed, and the result is as following. The result shows that similar pattern is applied in furniture placement of each guest room but for the furniture type and design concept, some try to re-design of wooden furniture available in Lee dynasty and others adopt European style like France and United Kingdom for the realization of semi-classic image. Typical material and color is red oak and maple.

3차원 금속착체 포접화합물 $Cd(pn)Ni(CN)_4{\cdot}0.5NO_2C_6H_5$(pn: 1,2-diaminopropane=propylenediamine)은 사방정계 공간군 $Pn2_1$a로, a=13.868(5), b=26.591(4), c=7.840(1)${\AA}$, V=2891(1)${\AA}^3$, Z=4이며, 28000개의 독립적인 회절반점에 대한 R값은 0.054이다. 이 포접화합물의 host구조는 가지 달린 지방족 guest 분자를 포접한 포접화합물의 host 구조(T-type)와 같다. Nitrobenzene guest 분자는 T-type의 nodal형 턴넬속에 안정하게 포접되는데, 이는 node 위치체 pn-amino group이 놓이고, antinode 위치에 부피가 큰 방향조 고리가 놓이며, 이들 사이에 극성인 nitro group이 있기 때문이다. 턴넬형의 포접골간을 갖는 금속착체 $Cd(pn)Ni(CN)_4$의 host 구조가 가지 달린 방향족 guest 분자를 포접하고 있다.

본 연구에서는 게스트 분자(guest molecule)의 특성이 고분자/베타-사이클로덱스트린(beta-cyclodextrin) 포접화합물(inclusion compound)로 이루어진 고분자 필름의 구조 및 물성에 미치는 영향에 대해서 고찰하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 사용된 게스트 분자는 미백 효과를 지니는 것으로 알려진 3가지로 하이드로퀴논(hydroquinone, HQ), 알부틴(arbutin, AB), 그리고 트랜액사믹 애시드(tranexamic acid, TA)이다. 먼저, 베타-사이클로덱스트린과 게스트 분자 간의 포접화합물의 성공적인 형성과 이를 포함하는 고분자 필름의 제조여부를 라만(Raman) 분광학으로 확인하였다. 포접화합물을 포함하는 고분자 필름의 구조 및 물성은 엑스선 회절법(X-ray diffraction)과 주사열용량법 및 열중량추적법 같은 열분석법으로 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 트랜액사믹 애시드의 영향이 다른 분자의 영향과 비교하여 상당히 상이하였음을 관찰할 수 있었다. 이러한 경향은 간단한 분자 시뮬레이션 기법으로 재검증하였다. 본 연구는 포접화합물을 형성하는 게스트 분자들의 상이한 영향에 대한 체계적인 접근을 통한 실험적 검증의 사례로 향후 관련 연구에 중요한 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구에서는 $G_2$[naphthalene disulfonate] 숙주 분자(host molecule)의 선택적 내포현상을 이용하여 구조적 이성질체인 1,2-dibromobenzene과 1,3-dibromobenzene을 분리하였다. 혼합 이성질체 용액에서 $X_{1,3-DBB}=0.3$ 이상 일 때, 숙주 분자는 1,3-dibromobenzene 손님 분자(guest molecule)에 대해 내포 선택도가 높았으나, $X_{1,3-DBB}=0.2$ 이하의 용액에서는 1,2-dibromobenzene 손님 분자에 대한 내포 선택도가 높았다. 이것은 용액의 조성에 따라 특정 이성질체가 숙주 분자 구조의 주형 역할을 하여 해당 분자에 대한 손님 분자로서의 내포 선택도를 결정하기 때문이다. 이러한 숙주 분자 구조에 대한 손님 분자의 주형 역할은 순수 이성질체 용액 및 혼합 이성질체 용액에서 생성된 내포 화합물의 X-ray 회절 분석 결과로부터 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, 열시차분석(DSC)에서 (1,3-dibromobenzene)-내포 화합물이(1,2-dibromobenzene)-내포 화합물 보다 안정하여 손님 분자를 숙주 분자로부터 유리시키는 더 많은 에너지를 요구하였다. 이러한 열적 안정성은 $G_2$[naphthalene disulfonate] 숙주 분자가 더 넓은 농도 범위에서 1,3- dibromobenzene에 대해 선택도를 갖는 것과 부합하는 결과이다. 본 연구에서는 숙주 분자의 선택도와 내포 화합물의 열적 안정성과의 관련성을 도출해 냈으며, 열적 안정도 평가가 숙주분자의 선택적 내포 현상을 예측할 수 있는 수단으로 적용될 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

The study aims to investigate problems underlying in an old local house in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do and hence improve performance and remodel the house. Based on a survey regarding current conditions of the house and several case studies on other successful renovation projects, this study suggests new renovation concepts for the old house into a guest house. The study analyzes the current state of Iksan in which the location is faced with population decline - especially among the young - and the lack of community facilities and infrastructure, and finally the unfavorable situation in the residential environment. the case study involves four successful renovated guest house projects: three renovated old single houses in Seoul and Jeonju, and a renovated old Japanese housing complex in Kunsan. The renovating concepts for the local old house is as follows: renovating for performance improvement (i.e. lighting, ventilation, heating, plumbing, insulation, structure, and water proofing), utilizing the local house to a guest house for a growing number of tourists, adding new guest rooms, installing convenient facilities in order to provide better living environments for the visitors, and improving community and street landscapes.

As a new strategy for the optimization of a chiral catalyst, the catalytic activity of the host-guest complexes of chiral bisphosphine bearing imidazolidinone was investigated in Rh-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of enamide. Marginal enhancement in enantioselectivity was observed and the nature of interaction between host-guest was experimentally elucidated.

Inclusion selectivity of a three-dimensional piperazine-ligated cyanocadmate host complex, $[Cd_x(CN)_{2x}\{HN(CH_2CH_2)_2NH\}_y]{\cdot}zG$, has been investigated for benzene (B), toluene (T), ethylbenzene (E), o- (O), m- (M), and p-xylene (P) isomers as the aromatic guest molecules. From the binary, ternary and quarternary guest mixtures of E and xylene isomer (X), the order of inclusion selectivity in the host complex is O>E>P>M. From the binary to quinary BTX mixtures, the order of preference in the complex is seen to be B>T>O${\gg}$P>M.
