  • Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-code division multiplexing access(OFDM-CDMA) systems without guard interval can enhance the bandwidth performance more efficiently than the systems with guard interval. In this paper, a new technique for an OFDM-CDMA system without guard interval, which can eliminate inter-symbol interference(ISI) and inter-channel interference(ICI), is presented. The proposed algorithm is a new demodulation technique, based on the Pseudo-Decorrelator, and it is named PD algorithm. Simulation results show that the PD algorithm can combat ISI and ICI efficiently for an OFDM-CDMA system without guard interval. The BER performance of the PD algorithm is much better than that of a conventional OFDM-CDMA system without guard interval.

  • All of the people or objects which are contacted during the activity of guard are added to range of objects. guard has to notice decision, question proposal, observation, accomplish to be happened them at the same time recognizing the steps as soon as possible. Before a lot of information of client are shown, guard expert has to search observation of materialization, extension of reservation, notification of business and causes of danger through personal interviews. Rapid communication system has to be assumed and effective caution, protection and shelter and following prevention are cooperated as well as has to care about safe of guard object by a protective wall. And also has to get out of the ground, keep the large shape when moves, prevent the trials of attack from the assassinators after takeing control over weapons.

  • The K+ and Na+ contents in the guard cells of Agave which had a characteristic of CAM plant were measured by using "Rolling technique". That results were correspond with the change of the stomatal aperture width. That is to say, stomatal movement of Agave is due to the change of K+and Na+ concentration in the guard cells. As Agave which was used in this experiment showed two peaks of which one was at 3 hour and the other was at 24 hour in stomatal aperture width, it was seemed that Agave had both characteristics of CAM and $C_3$pattern.

  • An OFDM system may be a good candidate for a next-generation wireless communication system which requires high-speed and high-rate data transmission. In OFDM systems, guard intervals are inserted to mitigate the effects of ISI (Inter-Symbol Interference). But guard interval insertion degrades the system performance from the standpoint of data rate and bandwidth efficiency. In this paper, a new method to improve the performance of an OFDM system without guard interval. First, PIC (Parallel Interference Cancellation) scheme which can reduce ISI by subtracting the estimated multi-path components from the received signal will be considered. And the proposed system with Pseudo-Decorrelator estimates transmitted signals by using the inverse matrix of cross-correlation matrix relating to interference components. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated through computer simulations and compared with that of the PIC system and an OFDM system without guard interval.

  • This study establishes structure pattern about private security guard major under graduate students career preparation conduct and reality adaptability wishes to deduce high theoretical pattern. Then, I wish to verify causality of variables included in pattern. This study established private security guard major of 3 university by population to Seoul, Gyeonggi Province in 2012. Using purposive sampling method, 130 samples were drawn and were used for the final analysis. Validity and reliability of questionnaire verified to be through confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis. Validity of questionnaire came out to be over exogenous variable value .664, endogenous variable value .787. In this study, utilizes AMOS 18.0 and SPSS WIN 18.0 programs for reliability analysis and took advantage of technique of covariance structure analysis. The conclusion is following : First, private security guard major self-clearness shortage exerts contradictory influence on career decision efficacy. Second, private security guard major self-clearness shortage does not affect on career preparation behavior. Third, problem about private security guard major age exerts contradictory influence on career decision efficacy. Fourth, problem about private security guard major age does not affect on career preparation behavior. Fifth, physical inferiority complex of a private security guard major does not affect in career decision efficacy. Sixth, physical inferiority complex of a private security guard major does not affect on career preparation behavior. Seventh, private security guard major course decision efficacy affects on career preparation behavior.

  • This paper proposes downlink blocking model and approximation equation using lower bound approximation in order to determine the proper guard band between cdma2000 1X and WCDMA in handover areas. The frequency sharing conditions obtained by the model and approximation equation on blocking probability proposed in the paper, are co-site of base station and guard band higher than 1 MHz. Also, the proposed equation is in the form of Q-function. It is an analytical solution overcoming the drawback of recalculation, belonged to Monte-Carlo technique.

  • The ship's maneuverability is the important factor to avoid ship's collisions. The ship's maneuverability is usually measured in a deep water, and the turning ability is decreased and the course stability is improved in a shallow water. The variation of the turning ability could cause the risk of collision. In this paper, we proposes application technique of Variable Safe-Guard Ring to consider the shallow water effect and to be simple to estimate the grade of collision risk simultaneously. Through the mathematical simulation, the availability of new method was varified. Therefore this method is expected enough to support a maneuver for collision avoidance.

  • The structures for road safety are guard rails that protect the cars and passengers. If an accident occurs on the roads after a long period of installation, it may escalate into a major disaster. In order to repair many guard rails, the existing repair method of replacing them with new ones requires enormous financial resources. To solve this problem, the G-SAVE method was developed to repair the guard rail without replacing them. This method removes the rust on the surface of the guard rail and then performs ambient-dip galvanizing coating on it without replacing the new ones. No studies or reports have yet been made on the risk assessment of harmful substances, vehicles for these entire processes. Therefore, this paper focuses on risk assessment using the PHA (Preliminary Hazard Analysis) technique and conducts risk assessment for concept design stage of the coating vehicles.

  • The orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) technique is well known to be robust against the frequency-selective fading in wireless channels. It is due to the exploitation of a guard interval that is inserted at beginning of each OFDM symbol. Based or the conventional OFDM and a polyphase filtered orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PF-OFDM) technique, we developed an adaptive beamforming algorithm for antenna arrays. The proposed algorithm would lead to an efficient use of channel, since it is possible to eliminate a guard interval and also easily suppress interchannel interference at the same time. In this paper, a series of computer simulations have been provided to show the performance of the proposed system.
