Microorganisms growing on Dried-Persimmon have heed isolated ana identified. Fluorescent substance were extracted from a putrefactive Dried-Persimmon after invaded Toxigenic Fungi, and compared with Aflatoxin by Thin layer chromatography and u. v. absorption spectra. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1) Fungal invasion was frequently appeared at the beginning of storage, and after then Bacteria invasion was followed. 2) Several Genera of microorganisms (Aspergillus sp., Escherichia sp., Mucor sp., Alternaria sp., Penicillium sp. ) were observed in Dried-persimmon during storage. Aspergillus sp., one of all Genus was predominant. 3) Two strains (Aspergillus flavus Group, Penicillium citrimum Series) of 6 Fungi had Fluorescent substance, which was presumed Aflatoxin-like substance. 4) The Rf value of T. L. C. ana λ max of u. v. absorption spectra showed the same value as the standard of Aflatoxin. It is suppose that the Fluorescent substance in Dried-Persimmon is a Aflatoxin-like substance.
With increases in the amount of spare time by many and with increased social interest in health, the sportswear market is steadily growing. Thus, sportswear companies are putting more effort into developing their websites for differentiation strategies. It is possible to deliver effective images with the use of proper colors in websites. This study aimed to analyze the colors of websites of sportswear brands' and to compare their characteristics. Thirty-seven brands were chosen and classified into three groups: active sportswear, outdoor wear and golf wear. 168 color samples in total as main colors, sub-colors and accent colors were collected from the first screen of each websites. The colors were analyzed by Musell's 10 hues and by the 12 tone classifications of PCCS. The results indicated that white is the color most often used as the main color and sub-color on these websites. There were differences among the colors of the three groups. Both active sportswear and outdoor wear have a similar tendency in terms of their use of colors and tones, while golf wear is different from these two groups. Active sportswear websites and outdoor wear websites frequently used red and vivid, bright tones for their accent colors. In comparison, Green Yellow and light grayish tones were most commonly used as accent colors in golf wear websites.

Grapevine downy mildew, caused by Plasmopara viticola, significantly damages vineyards and is one of the most devastating diseases affecting cultivated grapes worldwide. In this study, we characterized the phenotypic and molecular traits of 11 P. viticola isolates from four grape-growing regions in South Korea. Additionally, we investigated the diversity of pathogenicity among these isolates and conducted an assay to evaluate the response of grape cultivars to P. viticola infection. Lemon-shaped sporangia were identified in the collected isolates, which released zoospores into the suspension at room temperature. Within a few hours of inoculation, the zoospores developed germ tubes. We tested 11 P. viticola isolates for pathogenicity in 845 grape cultivars to screen for grape host resistance to downy mildew infection. Among the tested isolates, JN-9 showed the highest virulence. Grape cultivars displayed varying phenotypic reactions to P. viticola infection: approximately 7% were highly susceptible, 41% were susceptible, 20% were moderately susceptible, 8% were resistant, and 24% exhibited extreme resistance. Phylogenetic analysis based on four genomic regions (internal transcribed spacer 1 [ITS1], actin, beta-tubulin, and cytochrome c oxidase II) revealed a close evolutionary relationship among all the Korean isolates, forming a single monophyletic lineage. Notably, these isolates showed greater similarity to European isolates than to American isolates. This comprehensive study contributes to a deeper understanding of the identity and behavior of P. viticola, which is crucial for developing effective resistance strategies against this pathogen in grape cultivars cultivated in South Korea.

Along with the development of network transmission technology, the IPTV market is growing in fast pace. Additionally the UHD resolution broadcasting system along with user experience (UX) that provides better service to user has attracted attention recently since there are not enough research has been done with differentiated the UX that can enhance the UX yet. Therefore we proposed a low complexity syntax level image stitching implementation technique that run with multi-view services, which makes possibility to view multiple channel or video contents on the screen at the same time. Simulation results have demonstrated the liability and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm by showing that capability of generating more than 80 frames per second by stitching four Full-HD size videos into UHD frame.
It was conducted to investigate the effect of rice downy mildew (RDM) infection to plant growth and yield components in water seeding stage, and to screen of varietal resistance to downy mildew. Being infected by rice downy mildew, chlorotic spot appeared in the leaf and leaf length was shortened. As the infected rice was growing, internode was not elongated properly and was deformed, and then panicle was not arised or mal-formed. Plant height of infected rice was shortened at all growth stage, and while the number of tillers of infected rice was more decreased than that of healthy plant before maximum tillering stage, and that of infected rice was more increased after heading stage. While the number of internode of infected tiller was much increased than that of healthy tiller internode length of infected tiller was shorter. As the rice infected by RDM severely, the number of panicles per square meter and ripening of rice was more decreased and yield of rice was extremely much decreased. As result of the varietal resistance screening with rice seedling, Geyh-wabyeo and Donjinbyeo were resistant varieties to downy mildew.
Herbal remedies are enjoying a growing popularity in the world. But, we still pay few attention to the potential hepatotoxicity of herbal remedies, and there are only a few reports about that. We recently experienced a case of drug induced hepatitis caused by ingestion of Dyctamnus dasycarpus, one of herbs used for dermatologic disorders. The patient, a 38 year old woman, was admitted due to jaundice after ingestion of some herbal mixture containing Dyctamnus dasycarpus to treat her atopic dermatitis for 4 months. Other possible causes of liver injury were excluded by laboratory test and imaging studies, and we could find a report on similar cases caused by ingestion of Dyctamnus dasycarpus. During conservative treatment, elevated liver enzyme and total bilirubin level slowly returned to normal value. This case stresses the need to warn the potential hepatotoxicity of Dyctamnus dasycarpus, especially for a long time ingestion. So we suggest the necessity of toxicology screen at regular intervals during long time ingestion of herbal medicine, and further evaluation of the safety and toxicity of Dyctamnus dasycarpus.
This study was conducted to provide data necessary for reducing the condensation on greenhouse covering in winter season. The variation of VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and condensation flux was analyzed in experimental tomato greenhouse. VPD values in experimental plastic greenhouse were greater than 0.2 kPa of disease prevention threshold, and lower than 0.5 kPa of threshold for dehumidification. The surface temperature of inside covering was slightly higher than the average temperature of outside and above curtain, and changed according to outside temperature. The humidity above curtain was nearly 100% and good condition for condensation. The humidity below curtain was 75~90% and comparatively stable condition for growing. The condensation flux value in experimental greenhouse corresponded with result of Seginer and Kantz (1986).
Discussion on OTT regulation has become fiercer, as OTT services' impacts on the global and domestic media market have been exponentially growing. In South Korea, it is argued that, on the basis of the similarity between television program and OTT's video content, OTT needs to be regulated in order to protect fair competition and to control sociocultural effects. In many of the discussions, developed countries' cases have been used for supporting OTT regulation. In this paper, we first analyzed the global OTT market trends based on our own categorization of OTT services. then we assessed the validity of the application of the foreign cases in the current OTT regulation debates in Korea. We proposed six OTT types (aggregation, mediation, mediation-aggregation, multi-screen, outlet, and outlet-linear) simultaneously considering service operator' origin, business model, content format, and content delivery. These services have been consistently evolving, and the OTT market has been increasingly competitive especially around content differentiation. Regulators must be wary of hastily introducing competition regulation to the dynamically innovating OTT market. The foreign cases, including the US, EU, the UK, and Japan, hardly seem to be appropriate bases for strengthening OTT regulation. Rather, they were focused more on promoting competition in the domestic media market and enriching the content ecosystem. Therefore, we need to consider revision of the outdated media regulation frameworks instead of fitting OTT under them, and to recognize the priority of securing practical jurisdiction on global service providers before capturing local players into the conventional regulation systems.
With the development of related technologies, Location-Based Services (LBS) are growing fast and being used in many ways. Past LBS studies have focused on adoption of LBS because of the fact that LBS users have privacy concerns regarding revealing their location information. Meanwhile, the number of LBS users and revenues from LBS are growing rapidly because users can get some benefits by revealing their location information. Little research has been done on how LBS affects consumers' information search behavior in product purchase. The purpose of this paper is examining the effect of LBS information filtering on buyers' uncertainty and their information search behavior. When consumers purchase a product, they try to reduce uncertainty by searching information. Generally, there are two types of uncertainties - knowledge uncertainty and choice uncertainty. Knowledge uncertainty refers to the lack of information on what kinds of alternatives are available in the market and/or their important attributes. Therefore, consumers having knowledge uncertainty will have difficulties in identifying what alternatives exist in the market to fulfil their needs. Choice uncertainty refers to the lack of information about consumers' own preferences and which alternative will fit in their needs. Therefore, consumers with choice uncertainty have difficulties selecting best product among available alternatives.. According to economics of information theory, consumers narrow the scope of information search when knowledge uncertainty is high. It is because consumers' information search cost is high when their knowledge uncertainty is high. If people do not know available alternatives and their attributes, it takes time and cognitive efforts for them to acquire information about available alternatives. Therefore, they will reduce search breadth. For people with high knowledge uncertainty, the information about products and their attributes is new and of high value for them. Therefore, they will conduct searches more in-depth because they have incentive to acquire more information. When people have high choice uncertainty, people tend to search information about more alternatives. It is because increased search breadth will improve their chances to find better alternative for them. On the other hand, since human's cognitive capacity is limited, the increased search breadth (more alternatives) will reduce the depth of information search for each alternative. Consumers with high choice uncertainty will spend less time and effort for each alternative because considering more alternatives will increase their utility. LBS provides users with the capability to screen alternatives based on the distance from them, which reduces information search costs. Therefore, it is expected that LBS will help users consider more alternatives even when they have high knowledge uncertainty. LBS provides distance information, which helps users choose alternatives appropriate for them. Therefore, users will perceive lower choice uncertainty when they use LBS. In order to test the hypotheses, we selected 80 students and assigned them to one of the two experiment groups. One group was asked to use LBS to search surrounding restaurants and the other group was asked to not use LBS to search nearby restaurants. The experimental tasks and measures items were validated in a pilot experiment. The final measurement items are shown in Appendix A. Each subject was asked to read one of the two scenarios - with or without LBS - and use a smartphone application to pick a restaurant. All behaviors on smartphone were recorded using a recording application. Search breadth was measured by the number of restaurants clicked by each subject. Search depths was measured by two metrics - the average number of sub-level pages each subject visited and the average time spent on each restaurant. The hypotheses were tested using SPSS and PLS. The results show that knowledge uncertainty reduces search breadth (H1a). However, there was no significant correlation between knowledge uncertainty and search depth (H1b). Choice uncertainty significantly reduces search depth (H2b), but no significant relationship was found between choice uncertainty and search breadth (H2a). LBS information filtering significantly reduces the buyers' choice uncertainty (H4) and reduces the negative relationship between knowledge uncertainty and search breadth (H3). This research provides some important implications for service providers. Service providers should use different strategies based on their service properties. For those service providers who are not well-known to consumers (high knowledge uncertainty) should encourage their customers to use LBS. This is because LBS would increase buyers' consideration sets when the knowledge uncertainty is high. Therefore, less known services have chances to be included in consumers' consideration sets with LBS. On the other hand, LBS information filtering decrease choice uncertainty and the near service providers are more likely to be selected than without LBS. Hence, service providers should analyze geographically approximate competitors' strength and try to reduce the gap so that they can have chances to be included in the consideration set.
Character images for the background screen of cell phones are one of the fast growing sectors of the mobile content market. However, character image buyers currently experience tremendous difficulties in searching for desired images due to the awkward image search process. Content-based image retrieval (CBIR) widely used for image retrieval could be a good candidate as a solution to this problem, but it needs to overcome the limitation of the mobile Internet environment where an initial query set (IQS) cannot be easily provided as in the PC-based environment. We propose a new approach, IQS-AutoGen, which automatically generates an initial query set for CBIR on the mobile Internet. The approach applies the collaborative filtering (CF), a well-known recommendation technique, to the CBIR process by using users' preference information collected during the relevance feedback process of CBIR. The results of the experiment using a PC-based prototype system show that the proposed approach successfully satisfies the initial query requirement of CBIR in the mobile Internet environment, thereby outperforming the current image search process on the mobile Internet.
