지하수 정보관리체계 고찰 및 Web-GIS 기반의 국가지하수정보지도 구축 모형 (Building of Integrated Web-GIS System for National Groundwater Data Management)

  • 본 연구는 국내 지하수 자료의 효율적 이용 관리를 위한 수량수질 정보의 통합관리 시스템인 "국가지하수정보지도" 구축을 위한 업무분석과 세부 설계를 실시하고 천안 및 대구지역에 시범 적용함으로써 그 효용성을 검토하고자 하였다. 본 시스템에는 지하수와 관련된 관측, 조사, 지구화학(이온분석 결과), 시설, 수질검사 및 도면 자료 등을 데이터베이스로 포함하고 있으며, 전국의 약 130만개 관정에 대한 상세정보를 기본 데이터로 활용한다. Web 환경의 GIS 시스템인 "국가지하수 정보지도"에서는 자료의 검색뿐 아니라 시계열분석, 공간분석, 지층단면작성 등의 분석 기능이 포함되어 있어 지방자치단체 공무원뿐 아니라 현장 기술자에게도 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 앞으로 본 시스템을 지하수에 대한 표준 모델로 발전시키고 단계적으로 확장해 나감으로써 전국의 지하수 관리를 보다 체계적으로 수행 가능하게 될 것이다.

국내 지하수 통합관리 선진화 전략 (The Strategy for the Advancement of Groundwater Management in Korea)

  • To respond to rapidly changing water circumstances such as climate change, drought, etc., the korean government (MOE) established four advanced strategies for integrated groundwater management. The first strategy is watershed-based management of groundwater. The second strategy is total quantity management of groundwater including improvement of groundwater preservation area policy and procedure of investigation for groundwater influence area, additional construction of groundwater dam, installation of large-scale public wells, extention of spilled groundwater use. The third strategy is prevention of groundwater contamination including expansion of monitoring wells, introducing declaration of groundwater contamination. The last strategy is advancement of groundwater information management including integrated management of data, setting up a big-data based open platform. The above-mentioned four strategies will be reflected in the 4th National Groundwater Management Plan to secure implementation power, and it is expected to laid the foundation for advanced and rational groundwater management system.

  • To carry out systematic groundwater assessment, exploration and management and to use these for protection of optimal groundwater yield, a data analysis and management system is required. Thus, the object of this research was to develop and apply software that integrates GIS and groundwater modeling: GISGAM (GIS for groundwater analysis and management system). The GIS program ArcView and the groundwater-modeling program MODFLOW were used for the GISGAM. The program components consist of a pre-processor, a processor, and a post-processor for groundwater modeling. In addition, GIS functions such as input, manipulation, analysis and output of data were embedded into the program. In applying the program to pilot area, topography, geology, soil, land use and well databases, and a groundwater flow model were constructed for the study area. This case study revealed the advantage and convenience of groundwater modeling using GIS capabilities. By integrating GIS and the groundwater model, the impact of changing values of hydrogeological constants on model results could be more easily evaluated.

계층분석법(AHP)과 GIS를 이용한 고양시 일대의 지하수오염 관리우선순위 평가 (Priority Assessment for Groundwater Contamination Management Using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and GIS Approach)

  • In this study, priority for groundwater contamination management was assessed based on regional vulnerability in Goyang-si area, Gyonggi-do, Korea using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and geographic information system (GIS). We proposed a concept for regional vulnerability to groundwater contamination with using socio-environmental vulnerability factors, which can be classified into three properties including regional hydrogeological property, contamination property, and groundwater use property. This concept is applied to Goyang-si area. For AHP analysis, an expertise-targeted survey was conducted. Based on the survey, a total of 10 factors (criteria) and corresponding weights for regional vulnerability assessment were determined. The result shows that regional contamination property is the most weighted factor among the three property groups (hydrogeological property: contamination property: groundwater use property = 0.3: 0.4: 0.3). Then, database layers for those factors were constructed, and regional vulnerability to groundwater contamination was assessed by weighted superposition using GIS. Results show that estimated regional vulnerability score is ranged from 22.7 to 94.5. Central and western areas of Goyang-si which have groundwater tables at shallow depths and are mainly occupied by industrial and residential areas are estimated to be relatively highly vulnerable to groundwater contamination. Based on assessed regional vulnerability, we classified areas into 4 categories. Category 1 areas, which are ranked at the top 25% of vulnerability score, take about 2.8% area in Goyang-si and give a high priority for groundwater contamination management. The results can provide useful information when the groundwater management authority decide which areas should be inspected with a high priority for efficient contamination management.

GIS를 이용한 서울시 지하수 오염분석 연구 (Groundwater Pollution Analysis Using GIS)

  • 지하수는 한번 오염되면 원상복구가 어렵고 피해가 장기적으로 나타날 수 있으므로 그 관리가 아주 중요하다. 지하수 오염관리를 위해서는 오염 현황파악과 공간적 확산예측이 필수적이며, 이를 위해서는 GIS를 이용한 체계적인 분석이 필요하다. 따라서 지하수의 과학적 관리를 위해서는 다양한 지하수 자료들의 체계적인 데이터베이스구축이 필수적이며, 이를 기반으로 지하수관리정보시스템에서 오염현황이 분석된후 지하수업무와 직접 연계, 활용되어야 한다. 금번연구는 이러한 배경속에서 서울시 지하수관리를 위해 구축된 지하수관리 통합시스템의 전문분석 서브시스템을 이용하여 중구 일부지역을 대상으로 질산성질소(NO3N)의 오염확산을 분석한후 축척 1/5,000 오염확산예측도가 작성되었다. ´96년 서울시에서는 기초조사시 1/25,000 수문지질도를 작성하였으나 이 자료로는 지역적 지하수 오염관리가 어려우며, 금번연구를 통하여 작성된 대축적 분석도면들의 활용이 기대된다. 본 연구를 위해서 사용된 GIS시스템은 Arc/Infor, Are/View이며, 지하수분석을 위해서는 MODFLOW, MT3D가 이용되었다.

  • GIS is linked with Numerical Model(PM5) for the effective conservation and management of groundwater resources. All the relevant system was systematically constructed to analyze the field status by means of precise understanding of the surface and subsurface environment and by accumulating large amounts data and attribute data into developed system. The necessity of integrated management of the groundwater information was demonstrated and the general direction of the construction of groundwater management system was suggested. The proposed system will guide a method for the rational decisions of groundwater development via the establishment of the appropriate database management and accurate prediction of future change.

  • We have developed the computer system with MOCT which is called "The Integrated National Groundwater Information system" since 1995 and now begin to supply the database and related informations for ground water by internet homepage. The integrated system is composed of four sub systems which are "Groundwater Information System", "DUREBAK", "Hydrogeologic Map Management System" and "Groundwater World Homepage". The local government offices use the "DUREBAK" program to manage the well development and maintenance. About 1,000,000 wells are managed in "DUREBAK" program and they submit the well database to MOCT every year. And now everyone can obtain the well data and other informations through internet homepage. We have set the standard process of data acquisition and management for ground water last four years.s of data acquisition and management for ground water last four years.

갑천 유역의 지하수 이용 특성 분석 (Analysis of Groundwater Use in Kap-cheon Basin)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 갑천 유역의 물순환 분석 시스템 구축 및 효과적인 지하수 관리에 활용하기 위하여 지하수 이용량을 분석하고 그 특성을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 지하수이용실태조사 자료를 토대로 관정개수와 이용량의 누적밀도에 의해 형성되는 관계를 분석하고, 유역을 대표할 수 있는 총 이용량 및 관정 개소수를 파악하였다. 추출된 관정의 이용량 세부정보들에 따라 이용량의 공간적 분포 특성을 파악하고, 유역별 함양량과 지하수 이용량을 비교함으로써 갑천 유역의 지하수자원 관리의 적정성을 평가하였다. 평가결과에 따르면, 약 25%의 관정이 전 지하수 이용량의 90%를 대표하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대전 도심지 소유역의 지하수 이용량은 유역 유출 모형에서 평가된 해당 유역의 지하수 함양량보다 1.4배$\sim$11.1배 상회하고 있으며, 주요 하천 유역별로는 대전천 및 유등천이 갑천 유역의 함양량 대비 이용량 비율이 1.9배$\sim$2.3배 높아 이들 지역의 지하수 적정관리가 시급한 실정으로 평가되었다. 본 연구 결과들은 향후 갑천 유역의 지하수 이용량에 따른 지하수 유동 체계, 하천 유출량 그리고 물순환 변화에 대한 분석에 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • Global climate changes affect the local hydrologic cycle, and subsequently, require changes in water resource management strategies of Korea. Variations in precipitation and urbanization have adverse effects on the reasonable and efficient utilization of groundwater resources. Groundwater management strategies of Korea have been implemented based on the evaluation of "sustainable yield", which is calculated from the amount of annual recharge. However, this sustainable yield has no consideration of natural discharge and dynamic equilibrium of the groundwater system. Therefore, for the effective groundwater management strategies of the following decades, we need representative and reliable observations, and have to develop methods for the systematic analysis and interpretations of the data to draw valid information in linkage of natural and societal environmental changes.

제주도 지하수위 관측지점별 적정 확률분포형의 결정 (Determination of Proper Probability Distribution for Groundwater Monitoring Stations in Jeju Island)

  • Comprehensive statistical analysis for the 127 groundwater monitoring stations in Jeju Island during 2005~2015 was carried out for the re-establishment of management groundwater level. Three probability distribution functions such as normal distibution, GEV (General Extreme Value) distribution, and Gumbel distribution were applied and the maximum likelihood method was used for parameter estimation of each distribution. AIC (Akaike information criterion) was calculated based on the estimated parameters to determine the proper probability distribution for all 127 stations. The results showed that normal distribution and Gumble distribution were found in 11 stations. Whereas GEV distribution were found in 105 stations, which covered most of groundwater monitoring stations. Therefore, confidence levels should be established in accord with the proper probability distribution when groundwater level management is determined.
