봉상접지전극의 접지임피던스의 주파수의존성의 분석 (Analysis of the Frequency Dependent Characteristics of Ground Impedance of a Ground Rod)

  • This paper presents a systematic approach of measurement, modeling and analysis of grounding system impedance in the field of lightning protection system and intelligent power equipments. The measurement and analysis system of ground impedance is based on a computer aided technique. The magnitude and phase of ground impedance were determined by the novel measurement and analysis using the revised fall-of-potential method. The ground impedances of the ground rod of 50 m long are considerably dependent on the frequency. The ground impedance is mainly resistive in the frequency range of 3-20 kHz. At higher frequencies, the reactive components of the ground impedances are no longer negligible and the inductance of the ground rod was found to be the core factor deciding the ground impedance. Although the steady-state ground resistance of the ground rod of 50 m was less than that of the ground rod of 10 m, the ground impedances of the ground rod of 50 m over the frequency range of more than 60 kHz were much greater than those of the ground rod of 10 m. Furthermore, the equivalent circuit model based on the measured data was proposed. and the calculated results were in approximately agreement with the measured data.

축소 모의된 22.9 kV-Y 배전선로의 유도 전압에 대한 신뢰성 검증 (Verification of Reliability by the Induced Voltage of a Downscaled and Simulated 22.9kV-Y Distribution Line)

  • The purpose of this paper is to measure the induced voltage of the downscaled and simulated overhead ground wire of a 22.9kV-Y distribution line. This study performed a test of the downscaled and simulated distribution line according to whether it is grounded or not and the value of the ground resistance. In order to verify the reliability of the data measured by the test, the data was analyzed using the Minitab 17 program. It was found that the induced voltage of the downscaled and simulated distribution line is influenced by the value of the ground resistance. It was also found that the ground resistance obtained at a certain point is closely related to whether electric poles are grounded or not. The analysis results of the measured test data with a statistical method showed that the Anderson Darling (AD) was analyzed to be the smallest as 0.188 when the ground resistance of the electric poles had been maintained at $10{\Omega}$. In addition, the P value analyzed to be 0.894 which is in the proximity of the theoretical value of 1 and verified the reliability of the test data. It could be seen that the data measured by the downscaled simulation test forms a linear graph. It is thought that if a distribution line is installed in the same manner as the downscaled, simulated distribution line, the mean induced voltage will be reduced and reliability will be increased.

  • 본 연구에서는 유한 요소 해석을 바탕으로 연약 지반의 콘크리트 직사각형 피라미드 기초의 접지 하중과 접지 면적을 고려하여 불충분 한 설계 능력을 보완하고 하중에 의한 침하의 영향을 연구하였다. 이 연구의 결과로, 사각 피라미드 기초가 일반 기초보다 18% 더 효과적이라는 결과가 나왔는데, 이는 압밀침하에 체적의 변화에 따라 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있으며 과잉간극수압이 소산 하는 시간에 비해 비교적 짧은 시간에 일어나는 하중의 변화로 발생한 것으로 해석되었다. 해석 시 지층의 경계조건에 따라 압밀층은 상단과 하단 중간에 이루어져 있고, 압밀이 진행 되는 시간에 비해 짧은 시간에 하중이 가해져 하중이 완전히 작용하기 전에는 압밀이 전혀 발생하지 않는 것으로 해석되었다.

Experimental Research on Impulse Breakdown Characteristics of Soil

  • The electrical breakdown characteristics of different types of soil samples have been measured. It is shown that the threshold soil breakdown strength is affected by many factors, such as types of soil, grain size, and soil compaction. The breakdown process in the test soil samples appears to be due to air ionization in the voids between the soil particles. The results have been compared with the relevant experimental results of other researchers.

  • There are ground facility of maintenance in house electric facility of infra maintenance electric home appliances having used multifariousness in house, that use electric energy of common source for equipment. The body of building such as the reinforced concrete construction is structurally united, and the electric resistance is also small. It is possible that those foundations have contacted the ground at large surface area and that it substitutes the building construction body for the earth electrode. This is called "the structure earthing". This method has been defined at electrical facilities technical standards and KS in our country, and it has been used in various quarters practically. However, in our country, there is no example of using the foundation of the house as substitution earth electrode practically, and the means of the evaluation as electrode has not been established either. Then, in this paper, basic research for utilizing foundation of the house as substitution earth electrode is carried out.

  • This paper describes the characteristics analysis of power-optical fiber composite cable on underground transmission lines. The effects on grounding, air gap and contact resistance are variously analysed using EMTP in normal operating condition. From these results, in this paper, the scheme for protecting the electrically abnormal phenomena will be established on power-optical fiber composite cable of underground transmission lines.

  • To obtain a low ground resistance in high resistivity soil or in insufficient place such as downtown, long vertical ground rods are often used. However, if the lightning current or fault current with high frequency flows into the grounding system, the ground impedance is significantly increased. This paper presents how the impulse current works on the long vertical ground rods with a different length. As a result, it can be estimated what the waveform is composed of and how the GPR is affected by the rate of current change.

  • This paper analyses the transient phenomena against single line to ground fault and lightning surge between Korea and Japan on underground power cable systems. For analysis, find proper earthing resistance of neutral grounding system adopted in Japan. This paper is expected to contribute the establishment of proper protection methods against transients on underground power cable systems.

  • This paper was analyzed fundamental about electrical characteristic of concrete to practical use base of building as Substitution Ground Electrode and Artificial Ground Electrode. 1) Gravel or Sand has a function that makes increase Resistivity of Concrete and Cement has a function that makes decrease Resistivity of Concrete. 2) Moisture Increase Work is so hard because of dry of Block but the Resistivity was decreased when the moisture of Concrete Block was gradually increased. 3) According to the measurement result of moltar and concrete block, ratio relation of Resistance and Resistivity of each block was thirty-fold difference.

  • This paper analyzes operation sensitivity of a relay, a blind spot of differential protection relaying, and how to protect the blind spot in protective relying of $3{\Phi}$ Y-Delta transformer consisting of three $1{\Phi}$ transformers which Korean pumped storage power plants have been using. Each different protective relayings must be adopted because there are differences between $3{\Phi}$ trans-former and $3{\Phi}$ transformer consisting of three $1{\Phi}$ trans formers. Also, in the system using high resistance grounding for fault current restriction of delta side, protection for delta side faults have to be considered properly.
