  • This paper presents the FEM anlysis results performed to assess the applicability of Horizontal Jet Grout Roofing, and of ground improvement methods for tunneling in soft ground. Horizontal Jet Grount Roofing Method is applicable to ensure the stability of tunnel face in non-cemeted alluvial strata under high ground water pressure. For applying this method, to ensure the reliability, the Horizontel Jet Grout Roofing should be double lined with pre-grouting to reduce the water inflow during the jet grouting.

  • The ground resistance of middle scale ground pole was measured by using the 'fall of potential method' suggested by IEEE However, the measured resistance value was lower than the minimum value required To solve this problem. ground pole was set to be used commonly. In this research. ground resistance was measured using the newly suggested method and the results were analyzed to see if they satisfied the domestic regulation The results of this research will be applied to the management works as well as the establishment of new plan.

  • GSHP(Ground Source Heat Pump) has been extensively disseminated due to the recent increasing demand over new and renewable energy. In this study, the operating performance of rain water and ground source heat pump system (RW-GSHP) was compared with GSHP during the heating test. Leaving load temperature(LLT) was $50^{\circ}C$, $53^{\circ}C$, $56^{\circ}C$, respectively and rain water tank temperature(RWT) was $13^{\circ}C$, $15^{\circ}C$, $17^{\circ}C$ in this heating test. The experiment was focused on comparison of the system operating performance depending on leaving load temperature (LLT) and rain water tank temperature (RWT). The results showed that rain water and ground source heat pump system (RW-GSHP) was higher heating performance and COPh than those of GSHP.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 뉴질랜드의 Christchurch 지역의 2011년 2월 22일의 지진규모(Mw) 6.2 지진발생 후 얻어진 데이터를 이용하여 지진에 의한 지하 상수도관 시스템의 성능에 주안점을 두고 연구를 수행하였다. 이 논문은 액상화로 인하여 발생된 영구지반변형지역과 서로 다른 재질의 상수도관에 따라 1 km 당 손상갯수로 산정되는 손상율을 액상화 지역에서의 지진발생 전후에 얻어진 높은 해상도의 라이다데이터로부터 계산된 부등침하와 횡방향 지반변형률의 관계를 통하여 산정하였다. 본 연구에서는 영구지반변형에 따른 매설된 상수도관의 지진성능을 요약하여 설명하였으며 연구결과 연성이 매우 큰 폴리에틸렌 상수도관이 매우 우수한 지진성능을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있다.

제대천 유역 답지대의 물수지 (Water Balance on Paddy Fields in Jedae Cheon Basin)

  • To investigate the status of irrigation water use and the degree of repeated use of irrigation water, observations for water balance analysis were made during the irrigation periods in 1986 and 1987 crop year. The total area of studied site is 1,441 ha. The site is a major portion of Jedaecheon basin which is located in Bubuk-myeon, Miryang-gun, Gyeongnam Province. The studied area was subdivided into six small blocks. The water balance analysis for these subdivided blocks were carried out considering characteristics of each block. Obtained results are as follow: 1.In mountainous sloppy paddy area(less than 7% slope), the surface inflow was 5A mm/day in average that is one third of the surface inflow into plain paddy area ; 16.7 mm/day. 2.The surface inflows at the vegetative stage and the ripening stage were 15.5 mm/day and 10.4 mm/day, respectively. Those figures were larger than the actual consumptive use at respective same stages ; 13.3 mm/day and 9.2 mm/day, respectively. Whereas, the surface inflow at generative stage was 12.5 mm/day which was less than 14.0 mm/day ; the actual consumptive use. 3.The range of the variation of water storage term was 1 mm/day. This means that there were no change in depth of ponded water on paddy fields. The relationship between the variation of water storage(AS) and the variation of ground water table(H) could be expressed as follow: : AS=0.14H+0.26 4.The ground water inflow: into the transition region ; paddy fields which are located continuously from the mountainous area to the plain area, was larger than the out flow from this region, in general. Rowever, in the plain region where the ground water utilization was predominant, the ground water outflow from this region was larger than inflow: to this region. The relationship between the ground water flow(G2- G1) and the consumptive use in large paddy area(D1-D2) could be expressed as follow: (G2-G1) =0.95(D1-D2) -3.79

지온탐사에 의한 저수지 제방의 누수 조사 (Delineation of water seepage in a reservoir embankment from ground temperature measurements)

  • The water leakage of reservoir embankment usually occurs through water vein, which gives little influence on the embankment in a normal state. However, the embankment can be destroyed when the water level of reservoir increases with heavy rain in summer. Investigating the water vein and its path is therefore very important from the viewpoint of disater prevention and embankment protection. This paper presents survey results of one-meter-depth ground temperature and multi-point temperature logging in an embankment in Japan to delineate water veins and permeable formations. Four water veins have been predicted in the embankment by comparing measured one-meter-depth ground temperatures with the background ones which have no effect of water vein. The multi-point temperature logging was carried out in the borehole drilled at one of the predicted water veins. Depth and thickness of the permeable formation in the borehole can be determined from temperature restoration ratios with elapsed time. From these results we can find that the water leakage of reservoir embankment mainly occurs in sandy soil formation in the embankment.

지하수-터널 수리상호작용에 따른 터널의 장기거동 연구 (A study on the long-term behavior due to the hydraulic interaction between ground water and tunnel)

  • The interaction between ground water and structure is complicated behavior which cannot be easily investigated In the laboratory and monitored in the fields. In this study numerical simulation of the interactive behavior was performed using sophisticated coupled-finite element method. Hydraulic behavior of structure is modeled using solid elements with finite Permeability. Recovery of ground water table in the long-term is considered by controlling hydraulic boundary conditions. The results showed that the interaction effect is significant. Particularly non-symmetry in the lining permeability resulted in highly unbalanced pore water pressure which may cause detrimental effects on inner linings of tunnels acting as drains.

  • 본 논문은 지하수 관정의 안전성 평가를 위한 시스템을 구현하였다. 지하수의 수질은 지상오염 원인의 영향을 받으므로 수질 성분의 측정으로 영향의 원인과 그 정도를 파악할 수 있다. 본 논문은 지하수 관정과 영향을 주는 지리-객체의 공간관계성을 지리정보시스템의 포함(contain) 연산자와 거리(distance) 연산자를 사용하여 평가하는 방법을 제안하였다. 연구대상은 전라북도 군산 지역으로서 주로 제4기 충적층에 있는 75개의 지하수 관정의 성분 측정값을 제안한 방법으로 비교 평가한 결과를 ZEUS 2000 지리정보시스템에 저장, 표현할 수 있게 하고 ZEUS/SQLX, ZEUS/COM 그리고 Visual Basic 6.0 프로그래밍 언어를 이용하여 검색, 연구 분석 할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 구현하였다. 연구의 결과 지하수 관정과 다른 지리-객체들의 공간관계성을 확인하였고 지리정보시스템을 이용한 효과적인 안정성 평가지수를 개발하였다. 더욱 많은 지역의 사례에 대한 비교 평가로 제안한 평가 모델을 검증하는 것을 향후 연구과제로 남긴다.

지하수 model에 관한 모형시험방법 (An Introduction to the Ground Water Model Test)

  • Ground water flow can be studied with model test. Model test of ground water works are necessary for economic and safe design of the works. Also influence of the ground water flow to the durability and safety of hydraulic structures can be studied with this model. a. Sand model ; Water flow through porous media is the principle of sand model. Darcy's formula is the basic equation, $q=k{\frac{dh}{ds}}^{\circ}. The effect of the ground water flow on the grain system itself is represented with this model only. b. Hele-Shaw model ; In this model use is made of the viscous flow analogy. Viscous fluid such as glycerine flowing through two parallel plates depends on Poiseuille law, $q=-c{\frac{dh}{ds}}$. The analogue can be used vertically and horizontally. c. Heat model ; This is based on the analogy of the Fourier's law for heat conduction and Darcy's law for ground water flow. Especially unsteady problem can be studied with this model. A difficulty of the construction of this model is the isolation, which has to prevent losses of the heat. d. Electirc model ; Ohm's law for electric current is analogous to Darcy's law. Resistance material such as metal foil, graphite block, water with salt added, gelatine with salt added, ete. is connected to electric sources and resistor, and equi-voltage line is detected with galvanometer, $N_aCl$, $CuSo_4$, etc. are used as salt in the model. e. Membrane model ; This model is based on the facts that the deflection of a thin membrane obeys Laplace's equation if there is no load in the direction perpendicular to the membrane, and if the dellection is small.

서울지하철 터널내의 지하수 유입량에 대한 비교 연구 (A study on comparison of a ground water influx quantity in Seoul subway tunnel)

  • 서울지하철 5호선을 통과하고 있는 한강 및 중소 7개 하천 7.937 km구간의 터널 내부로 유입되는 지하수 유입량은 평균 $34,444\;m^3/day$로 터널 전구간 31.29 km로 유입되는 지하수량 $62,272\;m^3/day$의 55.3%를 차지하고 있으므로 하천구간에서 지하수 유입을 억제한다면 유지관리 비용을 크게 절감할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 하천구간으로 유입되는 지하수의 양을 설계기준과 비교한 결과 유입량이 $3.01\;m^3/min/km$로서 터널 설계기준 $3.0\;m^3/min/km$과 비슷한 수준으로 유입되고 있었으나, 터널평균 유입량 $1.38\;m^3/min/km$와 비교했을 때 하천구간에서는 2.18배의 지하수가 더 유입되고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
