洛東江 下流城 濫藻 Anabaena의 個體群 變動 및 毒性 硏究 (Population Dynamics and the Toxin of Anabaena in the Lower Naktong River)

  • Population dynamics of Anabaena and the anatoxin-a concentration were monitored with physicochemical parameters at 3 sites in the lower Naktong River from May to September in 2000. Total 4 species of Anabaena (A. flosaquae, A. smithii, A. ucrainica and A. mucosa) were identified with morphological characterisitcs. Anabaena flos-aquae was most abundant among the populations. The standing crop of Anabaena ranged from 10 to 11,220 cells · $ml^{-1}$ and biomass of Anabaena more 1,000 cells · $ml^{-1}$ was obseved once at St. Mulgeum and St. Seonam, twice at St. Hagueon out of total 9 samplings. There were not significant correlations between the standing crop of Anabaena and other physicochemical parameters such as temperature, nitrate, total nitrogen, phosphate, total phophorus and N/P ratios. The frequency of trichomes with akinetes was low and ranged from 0 to 4% in the total Anabaena population and A. smithii showed highest frequency of 2.8% among all species. The population at St. Seonam showed highest frequency of 1.4% among all sampling sties. The population in September showed the highest frequency of 3.0% among all sampling period. The frequency of trichomes with heterocysts was low and ranged from 1 to 87% inthe total Anabaena population and A. smithii showed highest frequency of 55.1% among all species. The population at St. Mulgeum showed highest frequency of 17.6% among all sampling sites. The population in August showed the highest frequency of 21.4% among all sampling period. The frequency of trichomes with akinetes and/or heterocysts was not related to all the physicochemical parameters of temperature, nitrate, total nitrogen, phosphate, total phosphorus and N/P ratios. The anatoxin-a concentations were determined in algal materials dominated by Microcystis and Anabaena from June though August by derivatization using 7-fluoro-4-nitro-2, 1,3-benzoxadiazole (NBD-F) and HPLC analysis with fluorimetric detection. All the concentrations were below the detection limit of 0.1 ㎍ · $l^{-1}$ in the present study.

만경강 지역 조류군집의 특성과 관리 방안 (Characteristics of Bird Community in Mangyeong River Area)

  • 본 연구는 1999년 8월부터 2000년 6월까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 만경강의 조류군집 특성과 관리방안을 파악하고자 조류군집과 서식환경을 조사하였다. 만경강에서는 조류의 서식환경으로 논이 차지하는 비율이 가장 높았으며, 수역, 갯벌, 관목지대, 주거지, 비닐하우스의 순으로 나타났다. 총 88종의 조류가 관찰되었고, 종수는 10월 58종으로 가장 많았으며, 개체수는 1월에 7.084개체로 가장 많았다. 만경강지역 조류군집의 특성은 잠수성 오리류의 종수가 적고, 상류와 하류의 지역별 서식환경의 차이에 따라 물새의 분포양상이 다르게 나타났다. 수면성 오리류는 삼례대교 상류지역에 주로 분포하였으며, 도요?물떼새류는 하류지역의 갯벌을 주로 이용하였다. 따라서 만경강에 다양한 조류를 서식하게 하기 위해서는 일부 지역에 수심이 1m이상 되는 지역을 인공적으로 조성하여 잠수성 오리류의 서식을 유도하고, 농경지로 이용되고 있는 하변지역을 관목식생지로 복원할 것을 제안한다.

  • 한강 중하류의 남조류 및 환경요인의 연간변화 (2000 ${\sim}$ 2003)를 파악하기 위하여, 2000년 4월부터 2003년 10월까지 4년간 성수대교에서 성산대교까지 총 5개 지점을 선정하여, 수계의 기초환경요인 및 식물플랑크톤 현존량 변화를 조사하였다. 조사기간 동안, 남조류의 현존량은 점차적으로 감소하여 장기간 강우가 가장 많았던 2003년에는 거의 관찰되지 않았으며, 총 식물플랑크톤 현존량에 대한 남조류의 기여도는 약 10%범위내였다. 이러한 현상은 매년 강우집중기 동안 팔당댐으로부터 많은 방류수가 유입됨으로서 수온감소는 물론 광량감소, 영양염류 희석 등에 의한 남조류의 성장이 제한된 것으로판단되며, 동일시기에 다른 조류 (녹조, 규조 등)의 높은 성장으로 엽록소 a와 식물플랑크톤 현존량이 뚜렷하게 증가하였다. 따라서 한강 하류의 고온기 동안 남조류 성장은 잦은 강우와 방류에 의해 제한을 받지만 규조나 녹조와 같은 다른 조류들의 높은 성장으로 대치되는 천이현상을 보였으며, 기후영향을 크게 받는 전형적인 하천생태계의 특성을 나타냈다.

경안천 현장실험조에서 식물체를 이용한 조류 증식억제 (Enclosure Experiments on the Effects of Various Plants on Algae)

  • 팔당호 지류인 경안천 만입부에서 현장실험조를 이용하여 조류증식 억제 효율을 조사하였다. Microcystis가 우점하고 평균 Chl a 농도가 30${\sim}$50 ${\mu}$g/l를 나타내는 경안천 만입부 현장실험조에서 습체식물 2.5 g/l 투여 결과, 은행잎, 잣잎, 솔잎 투여조는 초기부터 조류증식억제 효과를 보이면서 조류가 최고 성장기에 이를 때까지 높은 효과를 나타내었다. 수생식물중 애기마름 투여조가 다른 식물 투여조에 비해 가장 효과가 좋았다. 7일째에 조류증식 억제율은 솔잎 85%, 은행잎 80%, 잣잎 75%, 애기마름 78%, 줄 59% 창포 투여조 30%순이었고, 갈대 투여조는 효과가 없었다. 솔잎, 잣잎, 은행잎, 애기마름을 건조시켜 0.25 g/l와 1 g/l로 투여한 결과, 솔잎과 애기마름은 0.25 g/l에서 각각 53%, 90%로 좋은 효과를 나타낸 반면, 잣잎과 은행잎은 1 g/l 투여량에서 효과가 좋았다. 조류증식억제 효과 원인을 찾기 위해 식물체내 유기화합물을 분석해 본 결과 애기마름에서는 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-butanone과 2, 4-bis (1, 1-dimethylethyl)-phenol, p-CYMEN-8-0L이 검출되었고, 잣잎은 2, 4-bis (1, 1-dimethylethyl)-phenol이 검출되었다.

농어촌지역 미활용에너지의 부존량과 이용 가능량 분석 (A Study on Analysis of Reserves and Available Capacity of Unutilized Energy in Rural Community)

  • Alternative sources of energy take a higher interest in order to reduce the greenhouse gas under the Climate Change Convention, fossil fuel consumption, and lower social anxiety about nuclear power such as crisis involving the Fukushima plant, problem of obsolete equipment. The energy consumption of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in South Korea is 3,082,000toe by 2011, reliance on electrical energy(35%) and oil(57.2%) is very high with 92.2%. In this study, we examined reserves and available capacity of temperature difference energy for thermal discharge from plant, treated sewage, river water, dam, and agricultural reservoir in rural community. Reserves of unutilized energy are 455,735Tcal/yr in rural community, these accounts for 78% of total reserves 582,385Tcal/y. Thermal discharge from plant has the most reserves of unutilized energy in rural community, it is estimated that it has the reserves of 277,410Tcal/y. Available capacity of unutilized energy in rural community is total 134,147Tcal/y, thermal discharge from plant available for heating is the most 128,035Tcal/y, and it shows in the order of treated sewage 4,318Tcal/y, river water 1,653Tcal/y, and reservoir 141Tcal/y. Elevating temperature area of green house by 2012 is 21,208ha. The amount of energy required for heating the greenhouse a year is dbout 11,365Tcal/y with 8.5% of the total available capacity of unutilized energy.

바람길 조성을 위한 도시미기후 측정 분석 (A Study on the Micro-climate of the City to Construct Wind Ways)

  • The purpose of this study is to address the progress of the heat island phenomenon and the scheme to decrease in heat island phenomenon through analysis of micro-climates according to land use and make a plan to construct wind ways. The result is: 1) Analysis of temperature and humidity at 6 spots for 24 hours showed that heat island phenomenon was considerably intense around center road of Gwangju and can be mild through making lakes and green zones. 2) Analysis of the direction and velocity of the wind at 2 spots for 24 hours showed that the direction of the wind at the center of Gwangju was SSW(South-South-West) and average velocity of the it was $1.2{\sim}1.5\;m/s$. To make the inflow of the low-temperature air current from Mt. Mudeung into the city through Gwangju river, efficient management of Gwangju riverside parks should be considered for Gwangju river itself to be wind way. 3) Analysis of mobile temperature measurement on 3 courses for 24 hours showed that the low-temperature air current of Mt. Mudeung and a micro-climate of Gwangju river can lighten thermal storage phenomena of the city in that the temperature was lowest at Gwangju riverside. These outcome is from a day term measurement. So, to figure out accurate condition of heat island phenomenon in Gwangju City, it is needed to have long term measurements and accumulation of those information.

강우기 및 평수기의 팔당호 유기물 수지산정 (Organic Carbon Budget during Rainy and Dry Period in Paldang Reservoir)

  • 팔당호의 유기물 수지 산정을 위해 팔당호내 일차생산력을 측정하고 유입하천의 유입유기물량 및 방류유기물량을 측정하여 유기물부하에서 내부생성유기물의 기여도를 평가하였다. 식물플랑크톤에 의한 일차생산력은 지점과 시기에 따라 큰 차이를 보여 3회 조사결과 $101{\sim}2701\;mgC\;m^{-2}day{-1}$의 범위로 나타났으며, 체류시간이 길고, 수체내 클로로필 a농도가 높았던 6월에 모든 지점에서 높은 생산력을 보였다. 빈번한 강우로 체류시간이 짧고 조류현존량이 적었던 4월과 8월의 조사에서는 총 유기물유입량에서 내부생성유기물량은 약 7%를 차지하였고 이중 식물플랑크톤에 의한 내부생산기여도는 약 5%로 매우 낮았다. 그러나 조사일 전후로 강우가 없어 수체가 안정되었고 외부유입유기물량이 적었던 6월 조사에서는 식물플랑크톤에 의한 내부생산 기여도가 29.0%를 보였다.

한강수계 중권역별 오염물질 추세분석 및 달성도 평가를 통한 우선관리물질 선정 (Pollutants Classification based on Trend Analysis and Assessment of Water Pollutants Achievement in Subbasins of Han River Basin)

  • The objectives of this study were to analyze trends of water pollutants and to evaluate the achievement of water quality standards by subbasins in the Han River. The trends of 40 water pollutants at 232 water quality measurement points were analyzed. Chemical oxygen demand (COD), Total organic carbon (TOC), Total coliforms (TC), et cetera were found to be worsening trend. For evaluation of achievement, we evaluated water quality arithmetic mean with river environment standards and human health standards at representative points of the subbasin. Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), TOC, Total phosphorus (T-P), Fecal coliforms (FC), TC exceeded water quality standards, and water quality of human health standards was all satisfied. So, we prioritized pollutants. If pollutants exceed water quality standards or were worse, they were classified first pollutants. Although BOD and T-P are first pollutants because of water quality standards excess, they are continuously improved. Also, it is better to maintain current status because water quality management system of BOD and T-P is well prepared. Meanwhile, TOC, TC, and FC exceed water quality standards. Furthermore, they were worse gradually, but there is a lack of management systems such as water quality standards of the effluence facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement the system. The results of this study can be used as primary data for the establishment of water quality standards and selection of management pollutants.

상·하류 연계 모의를 통한 기후변화에 따른 농경지 침수면적 변화 분석 (Analysis of Inundation Area in the Agricultural Land under Climate Change through Coupled Modeling for Upstream and Downstream)

  • Extreme rainfall will become intense due to climate change, increasing inundation risk to agricultural land. Hydrological and hydraulic simulations for the entire watershed were conducted to analyze the impact of climate change. Rainfall data was collected based on past weather observation and SSP (Shared Socio-economic Pathway)5-8.5 climate change scenarios. Simulation for flood volume, reservoir operation, river level, and inundation of agricultural land was conducted through K-HAS (KRC Hydraulics & Hydrology Analysis System) and HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center - River Analysis System). Various scenarios were selected, encompassing different periods of rainfall data, including the observed period (1973-2022), near-term future (2021-2050), mid-term future (2051-2080), and long-term future (2081-2100), in addition to probabilistic precipitation events with return periods of 20 years and 100 years. The inundation area of the Aho-Buin district was visualized through GIS (Geographic Information System) based on the results of the flooding analysis. The probabilistic precipitation of climate change scenarios was calculated higher than that of past observations, which affected the increase in reservoir inflow, river level, inundation time, and inundation area. The inundation area and inundation time were higher in the 100-year frequency. Inundation risk was high in the order of long-term future, near-term future, mid-term future, and observed period. It was also shown that the Aho and Buin districts were vulnerable to inundation. These results are expected to be used as fundamental data for assessing the risk of flooding for agricultural land and downstream watersheds under climate change, guiding drainage improvement projects, and making flood risk maps.

산소수 주입-양수 기법을 통한 강변여과수 내 철/망간 저감 평가 (In Situ Iron-manganese Removal by an Oxygenated Water Injection-and-extraction Technique in a Riverbank Filtration System)

  • 최근 수자원확보 방안으로 강변여과수를 활용하는 방식이 적용되고 있으나 취수원의 철/망간 함량이 높아 다양한 문제가 야기되고 있다. 이에 경기도 평택시와 안성시에 위치한 안성천 강변여과수 개발 Test Bed에서 주입 산소수의 산소농도와 주입량을 변화시키면서 철/망간 지중제거의 효과 및 효율을 평가하였다. 철/망간의 제거시험은 3단계로 이루어지며 주입단계, 정지단계, 양수단계를 반복적으로 수행하였다. 현장시험 결과 Fe2+ 농도는 양수기간 동안 0.3 mg/L 이하를 유지하였으며 망간은 0.8 mg/L 이하로 농도가 저감되었다. 또한, 주입-양수시험을 반복할수록 철의 농도는 먹는물 수질기준(0.3 mg/L 이하)을 만족하는 양수량이 증가하였으며, 산소수 주입량의 최대 5배 이상 양수가 가능하였다. 망간의 경우 철과 동일한 기준까지 감소되지는 않았으나, 양수에 따라 농도가 저감되는 경향성을 보였다.
