반응-확산 하프토닝의 공간영역신호 분석 (Pair Correlation Analysis of Reaction-Diffusion Halftoning)

  • 영상 신호의 특정 파장대역에 대한 분석은 오래된 연구 분야다. 그러나 특정 파장대의 특성을 갖는 신호에 대한 분석이나 샘플의 생성에 관한 연구는 최근에도 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 특히 블루 노이즈 특성을 갖는 샘플링 방법에 관한 연구들이 다양하게 이루어지고 있으며 본 논문에서는 디지털 하프토닝 영상에 대한 신호를 분석한다. 하프토닝을 신호의 관점에서 해석한 것은 Ulichney에 의해 처음 이루어졌다. 하프토닝에 사용되는 픽셀간의 신호 특성을 블루 노이즈일 경우 보기에 좋은 결과를 낸다는 관점으로 접근하였다. Lau는 출력의존피드백을 오차확산법에 활용하여 그린 노이즈 특성을 보이는 하프토닝 방법을 개발하였다. Jho는 반응확산 모델을 이용하여 하프토닝 영상을 만들어 내는 방법을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 반응확산 하프토닝을 신호의 관점에서 분석하여 그린 노이즈를 나타냄을 보이고 기존의 그린 노이즈 하프토닝과 비교하고자 한다.

정서 단어 부정어가 정서가의 극성 전환 및 약화에 미치는 영향 (The effect of negated emotional words on polarity reversal and weakening value in valence)

  • 오피니언 마이닝과 정서 분석에 대한 기존 연구에서는 정서 단어에 부정어를 붙일 경우 긍정, 부정의 극성과 값이 뒤바뀐다고 가정하고 부정어를 처리하였다. 그러나 지금까지 정서 단어에 부정어가 발생했을 때 극성이 어느 정도 바뀌는지에 대한 정량적 연구는 없었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국어 정서 단어와 그 부정형에 대해서 정서가와 각성 차원을 측정하였다. 결과, 정서 단어에 부정형이 올 경우 정서가와 각성 차원의 중간 수준을 기준으로 극성을 뒤바꾸고 값은 약 30~50% 약화되었다. 이 결과를 오피니언 마이닝과 정서 분석 연구에서 부정어를 처리하는 기준으로 제시하였다.

한국 Chlorella에 대한 연구 (Studies on the chlorella in Korea)

  • According to the experiment on pure-isolation and the related contaminants of Chlorella, the phenomena of the ecological distributions of Chlorella in Korea have been manifested in several areas and also the aim that in going to do culture, biological and physiological study of Chlorella is carried out. Contaminants very oftenly occupied on the colony of the strains taken in order to fulfil pure-isolation of Chlorella, but in accordance with being piled up the minute research on this subject, I can obtain the desirable results as follows: 1. For the pure-isolation, the duration chose the time from May to September 1957 so that may easily isolate from contaminant water with utilizing the antibiotic substances. 2. To take long time, 36-48 hours until growth of nascent through the non-sporulated, it originates from the difference of the cultured media. In addition to the above mention, the mechanism of growth until nascent through the sporulated must not always require the ligh. However the supply of metabolic energy depend upon its nutritional conditions per phase. 3. The culture of Chlorella should be based on the lower culturing except adding especial conditions such as reagent concentration of media, artifical shake of media and other facts due to the natural conditions. And also these strains grew not only in distilled water but 2% NaCl solution without any abnormality in cell it self. I, therefore, guess it is possible to culture in sea-water under phasic environment. 4. In the experiment of ammonia detection, it is caused by the sampling surroundings to contain the minute quantity of ammonia in strain No. M 918; that is the place to be plenty of Carbohydrate on behalf of protein. 5. To compare the absorption curve of chlorophyll of higher plant with that of Chlorella, the absorption zone made mostly the Same ones each other but a little absorption grade dose not clearly appear. The colony which formed giant type grows with intensive colour and green band on surrounding of the colony and after that it was changed into all the green colour and developed up to end. 6. At first phase for a week, the development of Chlorella suspends the normal condition as in vivo but after a few days, the colour of chlorophyll gradually changed into blue-yellow which secrete the mucous substances on the agar media. The cell was flew out the contained substances itself on leaving the cell wall only, or the various micro-organism diffused on the outer-region of the cell.

고정화 효모를 이용한 맥주의 연속 숙성공정 개발 (Development of Continuous Beer Maturation Precess Using Immobilized Yeast)

  • 맥주의 숙성기간을 단축시키기 위해 네 종류의 고정화용 담체를 활용한 고정화 효모 반응기를 시험하였다. 전발효가 끝난 Green Beer (GB)를 효모를 제거하고 열처리할 경우 처 리온도가 높을수록 전구체인 $\alpha$-acetolactate의 diacety 1로의 전 환율이 낮고 전환속도도 빨라 $70^{\circ}C$이상의 온도에서는 4분이면 충분하였다 GB 중의 산소농도는 전구체에서 DA로의 변환율에 매우 큰 영향을 끼쳤는데 그 농도가 낮을수록 전환율이 낮았으며 0.1 ppm 이하의 농도에서는 거의 대부분의 전 구체가 DA이외의 물칠로 전환되었다. 열처리한 전발효 맥주 를 HAN, G-2, FLO, GDC 담체 column에 $\alpha$, 체류시간 80-150분으로 통과시킬 경우 diacety I 농도를 상품 맥주의 품질로 적합한 0.1 ppm이하로 떨어뜨릴 수 있어서 시험한 담체 모두 맥주 숙성용 효모고정화용 답체로의 실용화 가능 성이 있었다. 이 때 세라믹 담체 column의 경우 GDC 담체 column에 비해 미발효된 잔당의 발효에 의한 새로운 DA 전 구체의 생성이 많았다. 위와 같은 방법으로 생산한 맥주를 공장에서 기존의 방법으로 생산한 맥주와 맛을 비교한 결과 미세한 차이가 있으나 불쾌한 느낌을 주는 이취등은 발견되지 않아 고정화 효모 반응기에 의한 고속 숙성공정의 현장적 용 가능성이 높음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) have caused many microbiological incidents in the brewing industry, resulting in severe economic loss. Meanwhile, traditional culturing method for detecting LAB are time-consuming for brewers. The present review introduces LAB as spoilage microbes in daily life, with focus on LAB in the brewing industry, targeting at the spoilage mechanism of LAB in brewing industry including the special metabolisms, the exist of the viable but nonculturable (VBNC) state and the hop resistance. At the same time, this review compares the traditional and novel rapid detection methods for these microorganisms which may provide innovative control and detection strategies for preventing alcoholic beverage spoilage, such as improvement of microbiological quality control using advanced culture media or different isothermal amplification methods.

식재기반 복원을 위한 유기질계 토양개량재의 효용성 (Effects of Soil Organic Amendment as Plant Growing Media Component for Restoration of Planting Ground)

  • This study was aimed to determine effects of soil organic amendment as plant growing media component on restoration of planting ground. The changes of soil physical and chemical properties and germination and growth of kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.) were investigated. For treatments, soil was excavated at depth of 0-50 cm (referred as $S_1$) and at depth of 50-100 cm (referred as $S_2$). Then the half amount of $S_1$ soil was mixed with the soil organic amendment (coir dust 40% (v/v), bottom ash 25%, leaf mold 25%, vermiculite 5%, carbonized rice hull 5%) at a rate of 6% (v/v) (referred as $S_1CC$) and also the half amount of $S_2$ soil was mixed with the soil organic amendment at a rate of 6% (v/v) (referred as $S_2CC$) on pot in a 16 cm diameter and 14 cm height. The experiment was replicated 3 times with 3 pots per replication in randomized block design, and 100 seeds were planted per pot. In results, there was no significant difference in soil pH among the treatments with a slight decrease in soil hydraulic conductivity. However, in the $S_1CC$ treatment, positive increases in soil chemical properties, including electrical conductivity, organic matter, phosphoric acid, total nitrogen, exchangeable cation, and cation exchange capacity. Also, the germination rate, plant height, and number of leaves were higher in the $S_1CC$ treatment than those in other treatments. These results suggest that the addition of organic amendment to the soil at depth of 0-50 cm might be proper for restoring planting ground.

오이의 배발생 현탁 배양세포로부터 제초제 저항성 형질전환 식물체 생산 (Production of Herbicide-resistant Transgenic Plants from Embryogenic Suspension Cultures of Cucumber)

  • 제초제 저항성 오이 (Cucumis sativus L. cv Green angel)를 생산하기 위하여 배발생 현탁배양세포와 binary vector pGA-bar을 지닌 Agrobacterium tumefacians (LBA4404)를 공동배양하였다. 형질전환 벡터의 T-DNA부분에는 kanamycin에 저항성을 나타내는 neomycin phosphotrans ferase (npt II) 유전자와 phosphinothricin (PPT)에 저항성을 나타내는 phosphinothricin acetyltransferase (bar) 유전자를 지니고 있다. 48시간의 공동배양 후 배발생 캘러스는 20mg/L PPT가 함유된 성숙배지에서 배양하였다. 약 200개체의 형질전환 유식물체를 40mg/L PPT가 첨가된 호르몬이 없는 배지에서 생산하였다. 5개의 오이 형질전환 식물체의 염색체에 bar유전자가 도입되어 발현되는 것을 northern blot 분석을 통하여 확인하였다. 형질전환 오이 식물체가 토양에서 성숙되었다. 성숙한 오이 식물체는 PPT가 함유된 상업적 제초제 (Basta)를 일반적인 사용 농도 (3ml/L)처리시에도 저항성을 나타내며 생장하였다.

In Vitro Plant Regeneration from Stolen Node Explant in Eremochloa Ophiuroides (Munro) Hack

  • In vitro shoot regeneration and multiple shoot induction has been obtained from the stolen node explants in Eremochloa ophiuroides (Munro) Hack. The highest number of shoots ($10.66{\pm}0.21$) was observed from initial explants after one month culture duration on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium containing 6-benzyladenine (BA: 0.5 mg/l). First generation shoot was excised and sub-cultured on the same fresh media for further multiplication of shoots. An enhanced number of second round shoots ($15.33{\pm}0.21$) was obtained compared to the initial culture media containing BA (0.5 mg/l). The number of shoots/stolon node was higher among all the concentrations of BA than kinetin (KN). In vitro regenerated shoots were successfully rooted in the phytohormone free MS medium. Plantlets generated with roots were transferred to pots containing compound mixture of soil and kept in green house conditions. Acclimatized plants showed 100% survival rate with normal morphology in green house conditions. The present study demonstrates the effect of explant and different plant growth regulators towards in vitro response in E. ophiuroides. Moreover, the study reveals the effect of cytokinin on induction of shoot number per stolen node explant in E. ophiuroides.

Biological Control of Aphid Using Fungal Culture and Culture Filtrates of Beauveria bassiana

  • Aphids are one of the most destructive pests in crop production such as pepper, cucumber, and eggplants. The importance of entomopathogenic fungi as alternative pest control agents is increasing. Conidia of entomopathogenic fungi are influenced by environmental conditions, such as temperature and relative humidity, and cause slow and fluctuating mortality. These factors have prevented wider application and use of biocontrol agents. For investigation of means of mitigation of such problems, we conducted bioassays with 47 fungal culture filtrates in order to evaluate the potential of secondary metabolites produced by entomopathogenic fungi for use in aphid control. Among 47 culture filtrates cultured potato dextrose broth, filtrate of Beauveria bassiana Bb08 showed the highest mortality (78%) against green peach aphid three days after treatments. Filtrate of Bb08 cultured in Adamek's medium showed higher toxicity as 100% to third instar nymphs of the aphid compared with seven other filtrates cultured in different broths amended with colloidal chitin or oil. The culture filtrates and fungal cultures from media amended with colloidal chitin or oil had lower control efficacies than filtrates without these additives in three different media. These results indicate that the fungal culture fluid or culture filtrate of B. bassiana Bb08 cultured in Adamek's medium has potential for development as a mycopesticide for aphid control.

느타리버섯 푸른곰팡이병에 관여하는 Trichoderma 속균의 동정 및 검출을 위한 PCR 기반 DNA 마커 개발 (Development of PCR-based DNA markers for identification and detection of Trichoderma species associated with the green mold disease of oyster mushroom)

  • Trichoderma is known as pathogen caused serious green mold disease on commercial production. T. pleuroti and T. pleuroticola were common species in various mushroom media. Many strains of T. pleuroti, known as aggressive species causing major economic losses in Korea, showed benomyl resistance. Accurate identification and detection of Trichoderma species associated with oyster mushrooms is very important for disease control. We developed species-specific primers for T. pleuroticola, T. pleuroti, T. harzianum, and T. atroviride based on species-specific fragments isolated from amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis. PCR products corresponding to the predicted fragment of 500bp, 230bp, 180bp, and 410bp were amplified from T. pleuroticola, T. pleuroti, T. harzianum, and T. atroviride, respectively. Multiplex PCR assay using species-specific primers quickly and accurately identified and detected T. pleuroti from mushroom media in which various species co-exist. Our results can be useful for the effective control of mushroom disease.
