Geotechnical characteristics and empirical geo-engineering relations of the South Pars Zone marls, Iran

  • This paper evaluates the geotechnical and geo-engineering properties of the South Pars Zone (SPZ) marls in Assalouyeh, Iran. These marly beds mostly belong to the Aghajari and Mishan formations which entail the gray, cream, black, green, dark red and pink types. Marls can be observed as rock (soft rock) or soil. Marlstone outcrops show a relatively rapid change to soils in the presence of weathering. To geotechnically characterise the marls, field and laboratory experiments such as particle-size distribution, hydrometer, Atterberg limits, uniaxial compression, laboratory direct-shear, durability and carbonate content tests have been performed on soil and rock samples to investigate the physico-mechanical properties and behaviour of the SPZ marls in order to establish empirical relations between the geo-engineering features of the marls. Based on the experiments conducted on marly soils, the USCS classes of the marls is CL to CH which has a LL ranging from 32 to 57% and PL ranging from 18 to 27%. Mineralogical analyses of the samples revealed that the major clay minerals of the marls belong to the smectite or illite groups with low to moderate swelling activities. The geomechanical investigations revealed that the SPZ marls are classified as argillaceous lime, calcareous marl and marlstone (based on the carbonate content) which show variations in the geomechanical properties (i.e., with a cohesion ranging from 97 to 320 kPa and a friction angle ranging from 16 to 35 degrees). The results of the durability tests revealed that the degradation potential showed a wide variation from none to fully disintegrated. According to the results of the experiments, the studied marls have been classified as calcareous marl, marlstone and argillaceous lime due to the variations in the carbonate and clay contents. The results have shown that an increase in the carbonate content leads to a decrease in the degradation potential and an increase in the density and strength parameters such as durability and compressive strength. A comparison of the empirical relationships obtained from the regression analyses with similar studies revealed that the results obtained herein are reasonably reliable.

2-라인 레이저를 사용한 3차원 형상 복원기술 개발 (Three-dimensional Geometrical Scanning System Using Two Line Lasers)

  • 본 연구는 2개의 라인 레이저를 이용하여 3차원 형상을 획득하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 532 nm와 630 nm 파장의 레이저를 이용하여 2-라인 레이저를 생성하고 이를 대상객체에 조사하여 반사되는 빛을 영상센서로 획득하는 것을 통해 3차원 점 데이터를 연산한다. 이를 위해 레이저와 카메라 간의 위치를 결정하고 각 레이저의 평면 방정식 계수를 추정하며 삼각법을 통해 이미지 공간의 라인을 3차원 공간의 점으로 변환한다. 제안하는 시스템은 2개의 라인 레이저와 데이터 정합을 위한 스태핑 모터 제어부와 영상을 획득하고 레이저의 라인을 추출하는 영상처리부, 그리고 추출된 라인으로부터 3차원 점 데이터를 처리하고 3D 모델을 생성하는 3D 모델링부로 나뉜다. 제안하는 방법은 기존 단일 레이저 스캐닝 방식과 비교하여 가려짐으로 인해 발생하는 데이터 소실문제를 해결할 수 있다.

EVALUATION FOR DAMAGED DEGREE OF VEGETATION BY FOREST FIRE USING LIDARAND DIGITALAERIAL PHOTOGRAPH

  • The LiDAR data structure has the potential for modeling in three dimensions because the LiDAR data can represent voxels with z value under certain defined conditions. Therefore, it is possible to classify the physical damaged degree of vegetation by forest fire as using the LiDAR data because the physical loss of canopy height and width by forest fire can be relative to an amount of points reached to the ground through the canopy of damaged forest. On the other hand, biological damage of vegetation by forest fire can be explained using the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) which show vegetation vitality. In this study, we graded the damaged degree of vegetation by forest fire in Yangyang-Gun of South Korea using the LiDAR data for physical grading and digital aerial photograph including Red, Green, Blue and Near Infra-Red bands for biological grading. The LiDAR data was classified into 2 classes, of which one was Serious Physical Damaged (SPD) and the other was Light Physical Damaged (LPD) area. The NDVI was also classified into 2 classes which are Serious Biological Damaged (SBD) and Light Biological Damaged (LBD) area respectively. With each 2 classes ofthe LiDAR data and NDVI, the damaged area by forest fire was graded into 4 degrees like damaged class 1,2,3 and 4 grade. As a result of this study, 1 graded area was the broadest and next was the 3 grade. With this result, we could know that the burned area by forest fire in Yangyang-Gun was damaged rather biologically because the NDVI in 1 and 3 grade appeared low value whereas the LiDAR data in 1 and 3 grade included light physical damage like the LPD.

사막형 결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 에미터 구조에 따른 온도 별 특성 변화 분석 (Analysis on Temperature Dependence of Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells with Different Emitter Types for Desert Environment)

  • Different power output of solar cells can be observed at high-temperature regions such as desert areas. In this study, performance dependence on operating temperature of crystalline silicon solar cells with different emitter types was analyzed. Based on the light current-voltage (LIV) measurement, temperature coefficients of short-circuit current density ($J_{SC}$), open-circuit voltage ($V_{OC}$), fill factor (FF) and power conversion efficiency were measured and compared for two groups of crystalline silicon solar cells with different emitter types. One group had homogeneously doped (conventional) emitter and another selectively doped (selective) emitter. Varying the operating temperature from 25 to 40, 60, and $80^{\circ}C$, LIV characteristics of the cells were measured and the properties of saturation current densities ($J_0$) were extracted from dark current-voltage (DIV) curve. From the DIV data, effect of temperature on the performance of the solar cells with different electrical structures for the emitter was analyzed. Increasing the temperature, both emitter structures showed a slight increase in $J_{SC}$ and a rapid degradation of $V_{OC}$. FF and power conversion efficiency also decreased with the increasing temperature. The degrees of $J_{SC}$ increase and $V_{OC}$ degradation for two groups were compared and explained. Also, FF change was explained by series and shunt resistances from the LIV data. It was concluded that the degradation of solar cells shows different values at different temperatures depending on the emitter type of solar cells.

랜덤포레스트를 이용한 대설피해액에 대한 범주형 예측 및 개선방안 검토 (Categorical Prediction and Improvement Plan of Snow Damage Estimation using Random Forest)

  • 최근 세계적인 기상이변으로 이례적인 대설과 한파의 발생 빈도가 증가하고 있다. 이로 인해 대설피해 저감에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 우리나라는 시군구 별 과거 피해이력이 적고, 피해 발생지역과 관측소 간의 거리가 멀어 정확한 피해예측이 어려운 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대설피해에 영향을 미친다고 생각되는 인자들의 데이터를 수집한 뒤 랜덤포레스트 모형의 설명변수로 설정하여 추정되는 대설피해액을 범주형태로 예측하고자 하였다. 또한 설명변수 중 취약성 분석을 통해 도출된 취약성 지수를 설명변수로 이용함으로써 지역적 특색과 특성을 반영하였다. 지금은 과거 피해 자료의 부족, 비닐하우스 설계 기준의 변화 등으로 인해 예측 정확도가 높지 않지만, 피해가 발생한 지역의 정확한 기상자료가 확보되고, 변수로 사용한 데이터의 업데이트가 진행된다면 본 연구 결과의 정확도 향상과 재난 발생 전 피해규모 및 범위에 대한 신속한 예측을 통해 대비차원의 재난관리 대처능력이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

함정용 방향타에서 발생하는 구름(cloud) 캐비테이션의 주파수 특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Frequency Characteristics of Cloud Cavitation on Naval Ship Rudder)

  • In this study, the amount and frequency characteristics of cloud cavitation formed on a navy ship rudder were investigated through cavitation image processing technique and cavitation noise analysis. A high-speed camera with high time resolution was used to observe the cavitation on a full-spade rudder. The deflection angle range of the full-spade rudder was set to 8 to 15 degrees so that cloud cavitation was generated on the rudder surface. For images taken at 104 fps (frame per second), reference values for detecting cavitation were defined and detected in Red, Green, Blue and Hue, Saturation, Lightness color spaces to quantitatively analyze the amount of cavitation. Intrinsic frequency characteristics of cloud cavitation were detected from the time series data of the amount of cavitation. The frequency characteristics of cloud cavitation obtained by using the image processing technique were found to be the same through the analysis of the noise signal measured by the hydrophone installed on the hull above the rudder, and its peak value was in the frequency band of 30~60Hz.

  • 绿色环保或者环境意识已经成为商业、政府机关, 以及消费者和世界关注的重要问题. 针对这一情况, 韩国政府宣布, 在本世纪初, "环保建设" 将被作为一种用以鼓励与环保相关的商业活动的方式. 不同层次的韩国服装业, 提出了不同的产品环保的绿色计划. 这些服装产品包括有机产品和回收的衣服. 要想使这些公司成功, 他们需要那些, 在做产品购买,使用, 处置时, 将绿色问题(如环境的可持续性发展)作为一个人判断的一个组成部分的顾客的信息. 这些消费者可以被看成是生态学的关注者. 过去的研究已经对消费者对于环保产品的购买意愿进行了检测. 此外, 还研究了影响生态保护者或绿色消费者的因素. 但是, 只是关注生态保护者在处置或者回收利用衣服上与采购绿色产品相比较是不够的. 服装处置行为有多种途径, 消费者可以用淘汰, 传承(例如: 把它送给一个年幼的弟弟), 赠与, 交换, 出售或者简单的把他扔掉等多种方式来暂时或者永久的摆脱闲置的衣服或贷款项目. 因此, 购买环保产品的行为应该结合服装处置的行为, 从而进一步了解消费者的消费行为与对环境的态度. 本项研究的目的在于提供韩国生态保护者从有利于生态学的角度出发来购买和处理衣服的生活方式的相关信息. 本研究的目标有: 1, 基于韩国对服装处置行为进行分类; 2, 调查人 们人口统计数据, 生活方式和服装消费价值观赏的差异; 3, 在环保的时尚物品的购买意愿和影响因素之间进行比较. 自填式的调查问卷是基于以往的研究设置出来的. 问卷包括10项处置衣服的条款, 22项可持续并且健康的生活方式的条款, 以及19项消费观念的条款. 根据利克特模板的五分量表设置. 此外, 购买两个时尚物品的意愿和每个物品属性的11项特征都是根据利克特模板的七分量表而来, 两种制成羊毛套衫的可以从PET识别代码的回收瓶子中创造出来的涤纶织物这两种套衫选自一个韩国和一个美国的户外运动服装的品牌. 我们对每一种产品的简介和颜色都进行了调查, 人口统计学(即性别, 年龄, 婚姻状况, 教育程度, 收入, 职业)也被包括在内. 在2009年5月份, 研究数据通过一个专业网站的调查机构进行采集, 最后有600份调查问卷可供分析, 这个调查的受访者年龄从20到49岁不等, 平均年龄为34岁. 百分之50的调查者为男性, 大约58%的受访者是已婚者, 其中62%的受访者有大学学位. 主要成分分析和因素最大方法差的方法用以识别衣服处理规模的潜在尺度. 共有三个因素生成(比如: 倒卖行为, 捐赠行为, 不回收利用行为). 基于他们处置衣服的方式对受访者进行了分类, 群类分析被使用, 最终得到了三个部分. 不同的消费者, 被分别贴上 "转售集团", "捐资团体" 以及 "不回收组织" 的标签加以分类, 其中98%是正确的分类. 从人口统计学角度来看, 这三个类别的人在性别, 婚姻状况, 职业和年龄上有显著的差异. 健康可持续的生活方式被缩减为以下5个因素: 自我满意度, 家庭定位, 健康问题, 环境问题和自愿的服务. 这是三个群体中健康可持续的生活方式的最显著的差异. 转售集团和捐赠组表现出在健康可持续的生活方式上的相同倾向, 同时, 不回收集团在生活方式方面呈现最低的平均值. 转售和捐赠团体自称享受和满意这种生活和消费方式, 并且能够利用空余的时间陪伴家人. 另外, 这两组的人关心健康和有机食品, 并试图保护能源和资源. 对服装消费的价值观产生主要影响的三个因素是: 个人价值, 社会价值和实用价值. 因素的方差测试表明转售集团和其他两组之间的因素差异最大. 转售集团相比其他价值更关注个人价值和社会价值. 相比之下, 非回收集团比捐赠集团更关注高层次的社会价值. 比较购买环保产品的意愿上, 转售集团表现出最高的购买A类产品的意愿. 另一方面, 捐赠集团则在小市场中表现出购买B类产品的最高意愿. 此外, 平均分数表明, 购买韩国的产品(B类产品)相比购买美国的产品(A类产品)更合韩国人的心意. 多元线性回归分析法确定了对环保产品的购买的意愿对制造业产品属性的影响. 产品的设计, 价格, 贡献, 对环境的保护, 价格, 兼容性是影响转售集团的显著因素, 另外, 以及对自身形象的影响是捐赠团体的重要因素. 对于非回收集团来说, 设计, 价格等因素是相同的, 自我的形象,对环保运动的贡献, 和环境保护也是很重要的. 而价格因素具有显著性的共通性. 对于B类产品来说, 设计, 合理的价格, 形象等因素是同等的重要, 但是不同的组对购买的特征和意愿有不同的倾向. 健康可持续的生活方式以及服装消费的意向对购买A类产品和B类产品的影响同样被我们所关注. 实际操作者的健康状况和个人价值都是影响购买意愿的重要因素; 然而, 在这三个群体中说服的力度都很低. 结果表明, 分类出来的每组处理服装的行为, 显示着不同服装产品的属性, 个人价值, 和实践者的特点, 这些都影响了他们的购买环保产品的意愿, 结果会使生态保护者提出并组织更合理的生态设计的战略决策.

  • This study is on perfume case that is one of a great number of ornaments which was designed by out ancestors. We had developed the tradition and the history of perfume case bag fan-weight etc. These have the same function as the present perfume. case. There were basket-shaped perfume cases which were the smellest one among the personal girdle ornaments in the silla era. The various patterned perfume case were made of gold metal coral platinum or green jadeite etc. In the single-crop trinkets a embroidered perfume bag with the gold and silver thread whose forms perfectly match their functions appeared during the Yi Dynasty. There was also a perfume bag which was one of the daily necessities. A precious "jul perfume" was carried by noble women. A fan-weight perfume bag was attached to the fan to emphasize the intrinsic beauty of utility and function. It is necessary to know the function of prefume case. As perfume case is weared on the clothes it was given more decorative effects as well as the function of medicinal amulet with a sweet smell. Therefore it is very important for us to study perfume case that has various function as an ornament. So The purpose of this study is to investigate the practical and decorative side of perfume case with the general examines of perfume finding how to practice use through our life. The results were as follows; 1. The first use of perfume is perfume through smoke which is for ceremony of religion It removes human body odor by degrees and spreads a sweet odor. Also the materials for making perfume of early age is aromatic plants which will be used flour-made flowers stems. As the materials for making perfume use is increasing today we can invent alcohol perfume today 2. Our country the custom of perfume-used is wide. Among them men's perfume-used was very special phenomenon. For example men were wearing perfume bag in the Silla era. Because perfume represented wealth and noble in those days. They shew off social position personality through perfume-used. 3. One of early religion ceremony article there was the perfume. And perfume case was means for containing perfume. Gradually the perfume case was used widly as increasing needs of perfume in human life. 4. In the middle period of 'Koryo' Dynasty perfume cases had a close relationship with clothes but after Mongolian has been attacked 'Koryo' there were changes in wearing clothes therefore the position of perfume cases were transfered to coat string that was the origin of decoration style that they began. That is to say the perfume case has been influenced the position of perfume case shapes with changing of fashion. 5. The perfume case has been made manifest various function as an ornament. Today the perfume case is not used with changing of costume by degrees, Accordingly I hope that the result of this study is an influened in devlopment of the perfume case design with matching the modern fashion.

생물소재를 이용한 황색포도상구균의 바이오필름 억제 연구 (Biomaterials Inhibiting Biofilm Formation of Staphylococcus aureus)

  • 바이오필름은 부유 미생물이 피부 표면에 부착되어 형성된 미생물 집락이며 형질적 생화학적 특성에서 부유상태와는 차이가 있다. 바이오필름으로 증식하는 미생물은 부유 상태의 미생물 보다 숙주의 방어나 항생제에 대한 저항성이 훨씬 높기 때문에 바이오필름이 형성되면 감염 상태를 치료하기 위해 더욱 많은 항생제를 사용해야 한다. 따라서 감염된 세균의 내성을 피하면서 치료를 하기 위해서는 단순히 세균을 사멸하는 것이 아니라 표적을 달리하는 새로운 전략이 필요하다. 이번 연구에서는 아토피 등 염증성 피부 질환의 원인균의 S. aureus의 바이오필름을 억제하는 기작에 초점을 맞추어 연구를 진행하였다. 이 연구의 목적은 S. aureus의 바이오필름의 형성을 억제하여 피부질환을 조절할수 있는 후보 물질을 찾는 데에 있다. 슬라이드글라스를 human placental 콜라겐으로 코팅고 시험 물질과 함께 배양하여 억제된 바이오필름의 양을 crystal violet 염색법으로 측정하여 정량적으로 측정하였다. 이 실험에서는 표준균인 S. aureus ATCC 6538 strain이 사용되었다. 실험 결과 편백다당체가 바이오필름의 형성을 강하게 억제하였으며 녹차다당체와 황촉규근은 오히려 바이오필름의 형성을 촉진하였다. 자일리톨은 1 %의 낮은 농도에서는 바이오필름을 촉진하나 그 이상의 높은 농도인 3 %와 5 %에서는 억제하여 농도 의존적인 결과를 보였다.

식이 요인이 SCE 빈도수로 본 흡연노인 임파구 DNA손상에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Dietary Factors on Lymphocyte DNA Damage in Smoking Elderly People in Korea)

  • 영양소의 섭취를 포함한 여러 식이성요인에 따라 일부 지역 남자 노인의 인체 임파구 SCE 빈도수가 어떤 영향을 받는지를 조사해 보고자하여 60세 이상의 노인 45명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 후 채혈하여 임파구 SCE 시험을 실시하였다. 조사 대상자의 식이성 요인이 SCE 빈도수에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 채혈 대상자를 흡연여부에 따라 흡연군(n=14), 담배를 피우다가 현재는 끊은 금연군(n=16), 비흡연군(n=15)으로 나눈 후 SCE 빈도수를 비교한 결과 흡연군의 SCE빈도수가 비흡연군에 비해 유의적으로 높았으며 노인의 나이가 많을수록 DNA 손상정도가 증가하였다. 대상 노인의 인구학적 요인 중 신장, 혹은 체중이 전 대상자군에서 SCE 빈도수와 각각 역의 상관관계를 보였으며 흡연군에서는 신장과 SCE빈도수가 역의 상관관계, 그리고 pack years로 본 흡연력과 SCE 빈도수가 정의 상관관계 를 보였다. 2. 전 대상자군에서는 24시간 회상법으로부터 구한 영양소의 섭취와 SCE빈도수 간에 상관관계가 없었으나 흡연군의 경우는 식이섬유질 섭취량, 금연군의 경우는 비타민 C 섭취량과 SCE 빈도수가 각각 정의 상관관계를 보였다. 그러나 비 흡연군에서는 지방, 인 혹은 비타민 A 섭취량과 SCE빈도수 간에 역의 상관관계를 보였다. 3. 흡연군에서 육어류 섭취빈도와 SCE빈도수 간에 정의 상관관계를 보였고, 비 흡연군에서 식 사균형도가 SCE 빈도수와 역의 상관관계를 보였다. 세 군을 모두 합한 전대상자군의 경우, 혈당수준과 SCE 빈도수 사이에 정의 상관관계가 나타났다. 금연군에서 감미료를 섭취하는 군의 SCE 빈도수가 섭취하지 않는 군보다 유의적으로 높았다. 나머지 식이성 요인들은 SCE 빈도수와 상관성을 보이지 않았다. 본 연구 결과는 앞으로 DNA손상도가 높은 노인 대상으로 이의 회복을 위하여 식이성 요인을 이용한 영양중재실험을 계획할 때, 혹은 노인 대상의 영양교육 시에 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
