프리우스 III의 차량 출력 분석에 기초한 연비 예측 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fuel Economy Prediction Method Based on Vehicle Power Analysis of PRIUS III)

  • Both an optimal design of the engine operating strategy and fuel economy prediction technique for a HEV under the vehicle driving condition are very crucial for the development of vehicle fuel economy performance. Thus, in this study, engine operating characteristics of PRIUS III were analyzed with vehicle running conditions and the correlations between vehicle tractive power and fuel consumption were introduced. As a result, fuel economy performance of PRIUS III with various test modes were predicted and verified. Errors of predicted fuel economy were between -5% and -1%.

혁신제품 확산과정에 대한 저유량 모형 개발: 친환경 자동차를 대상으로 (Development of a Stock Flow Model on Diffusion Process of Innovative Goods: the Green Car Diffusion Case)

  • As global competition for green car, that is environmentally friendly car, is getting tougher, the governments and the related industries are putting their core efforts in its diffusion. However, the green car sales are disappointing so far. To overcome the gridlock, it is necessary to develop concrete analytical framework to understand the diffusion process. Based on causal loop analysis from the previous work, we have identified main variables and relationships of them in the diffusion process and developed a stock-flow diagram and mathematical formula for the main components. The model would be applied for further quantitative simulation on the diffusion process of green car and other innovative goods as well. Also, we have suggested constructive insights for the policy makers and for the related industries. First, it is important to increase consumers' willingness to consider through marketing and word of mouth to accelerate the diffusion process. Second, in the perspective of the industry, the market share of green car should be increased at the earliest possible stage and this could be done by enhancing each components of green car attractiveness(e.g. price, driving range, social infra). Third, companies should develop a balanced investment between consumer and technology sector through a flexible financial policy. Fourth, the government continuously has the role of investing in the related R&D and social infra building. We expect the green car diffusion model and related formula from the research can provide meaningful tools to analyze the diffusion process of other new and innovative goods based on its deep researched literature review.

친환경차 확산전략에 대한 시스템다이내믹스 접근과 인과지도 분석 (System Dynamics Approaches on Green Car Diffusion Strategies and the Causal Diagram Analysis)

  • The research is to identify important diffusion factors and their effects on green car diffusion process using system dynamics perspectives and a causal-loop analysis. Through a deep review on previous research, we have found the important factors of green car diffusion process. Price, driving range, network effect, recharge system, fuel cost had important facilitation on consumer attraction and green car diffusion. Based on the review, we have constructed a causal loop diagram explaining hybrid car diffusion process. We have found 3 important reinforcing loops in the causal loop diagram. Loop for learning & economies of scale(supply side), loop for network effect(consumer side), and loop for battery development(technology side) had most significant roles in the whole diffusion process. Through a deliberate analysis on the 3 causal loops, we have found meaningful results. First, there seems to exist a critical mass in the diffusion. Second, of the 3 loops, the battery technology had most significant role. Third, not consumer installed base but sales must be a standard to decide whether the critical mass is achieved or not. Based on these findings, several meaningful implications are suggested for the government and corporations related to the green car industries.

중국 소비자의 중용 가치관이 친환경 소비행동에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Zhongyong Values on Green Consumption Behavior of Chinese Consumers)

  • China has achieved remarkable economic growth through an extended period of rapid industrialization. However, adverse environmental issues have become more prevalent during this time of development. In particular, car exhaust emissions in the country have become one of the most substantial causes of environmental degradation in China. To combat these issues, the Chinese government is actively implementing green car policies to mitigate the negative environmental concerns. Likewise, Chinese consumers' interest in green cars has also increasing. Despite these changes in consumer perceptions, research on Chinese consumers' green consumption behavior is still in its infancy. Therefore, an empirical study was conducted to measure the relationship between zhongyong(中庸) values, new ecological paradigm(NEP), and green consumption behavior for 334 Chinese consumers. As a result, the study found that the three sub-dimensions of zhongyong(中庸) values(multi-dimensionality, flexibility and compatibility) and NEP had a significantly positive(+) effect on the purchase intention of green cars. It was also found that NEP positively mediates the effect of flexibility and harmony on purchase intention of green cars. This study is expected to provide academic outcomes on China, which is currently the world's fastest growing green car market, as well as providing practical strategic implications for establishing unique green marketing strategy for China.

친환경자동차의 인체 안전을 위한 전기적 연속성 측정 연구 (Study on the Electric Continuity Measurements of Green Car for Human Body Safety)

  • In this study, we analyzed and experimented about electric continuity for human body safety from green cars. And we compared power systems of HEV and examined about human body effect of current and time. We investigated internal and external standards and regulations for human body safety from high voltage electrical equipments. Indirect contact refers to contact between the human body and exposed conductive parts. According to UNECE R100, ISO 23273-3, ISO 6469-3 and Japanese Regulation Attachment 101, electric continuity between any two exposed conductive parts shall not exceed $0.1{\Omega}$. The value of electric continuity was measured below $0.1{\Omega}$ at the actual condition of green car. We expected that the results of these experiments can utilize to data for electrical safety of green car.

그린카용 인휠 모터의 냉각 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cooling Performance of In-wheel Motor for Green Car)

  • The in-wheel motor used in green car was designed and constructed for an electric direct-drive traction system. It is difficult to connect cooling water piping because the in-wheel motor is located within the wheel structure. In the air cooling structure for the in-wheel motor, a outer surface on the housing is provided with cooling grooves to increase the heat transfer area. In this study, we carried out the analysis on the fluid flow and thermal characteristics of the in-wheel motor under the effects of motor speed and heat generation. In order to check the problem of heat release, the analysis has been performed using conjugate heat transfer (conduction and convection). As a result, flow fields and temperature distribution inside the in-wheel motor were obtained for base speed condition (1250 rpm) and maximum speed condition (5000 rpm). Also, the thermo-flow characteristics analysis of in-wheel motor for vehicles was performed in consideration of ram air effect. Therefore, we checked the feasibility of the air cooling for the housing geometry having cooling grooves and investigated the cooling performance enhancement.

특허지표를 고려한 글로벌 자동차 기업의 그린 카 기술혁신 효율성 평가를 위한 ANP/DEA 통합모형 (Measuring the efficiency of technology innovation of the Global Green Car Companies by ANP/DEA Model)

  • 환경에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 글로벌 자동차 기업들은 그린 카(Green car) 기술 획득을 위한 치열한 경쟁을 하고 있다. 따라서 글로벌 자동차 기업들의 기술 경쟁력을 평가하고 그 동향을 분석하는 것은 중요한 의미가 있다. 그러나 특허성과 평가를 위한 기존의 연구에서는 다양한 특허지표 중 일부만을 활용하였으며, 특히 이들 지표들을 포괄적으로 고려한 종합적인 분석에는 미흡하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 특허 평가를 위한 요소들에 대한 중요도를 반영하여 전체적인 특허성과를 평가하는 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법에서는 네트워크 분석절차(Analytic Network Process)을 통해 특허지표들에 대한 상대적 중요도를 도출된 후, 이 정보를 활용한 가중치 범위 제한 자료포락분석(Data Envelopment Analysis-Assurance Region, DEA-AR)을 수행한다. 이때, DEA-AR모형의 투입요소로는 기업규모, 연구개발비, 직원 수를, 산출요소로는 특허 수, 특허 피인용 수, 특허 청구항 수를 고려하였다. 이 방법을 활용하여 글로벌 자동차기업의 기술혁신 효율성을 평가한 결과, 그린 카 시장의 동향과 추세를 파악할 수 있었다.

그린카 산업의 학제적 분석 방안에 관한 연구 (A Multidisciplinary Research Framework for Green Car Industry)

  • 전 세계적으로 기후변화와 저탄소 소비행태를 향한 움직임이 일어남에 따라 이에 대한 대처가 요구되고 있으며, 국제적인 유가상승은 그린카에 대한 소비자들의 니즈를 촉발시키고 있다. 본 논문은 그린카 산업 플랫폼 구축 정책과 기업전략을 도출하기 위한 선행연구로서 이를 위해 정책프레임 및 실증분석, 개념적/수리적 모델링, 시스템 다이내믹스, ABM 등의 다양한 방법론을 사용하여 다각적으로 접근, 통합하여 플랫폼 관점에서의 학제적 연구 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 그린카 사례 분석을 위한 산업플랫폼 분석 프레임워크를 도출하고, 필요한 구성 요소들을 제시하였으며 계량경제학 모형을 적용하여 그린 플랫폼(양면시장)에 관련된 기본 모델을 수립하였다. 또한 동태적인 관점에서의 분석을 위해 시스템 다이내믹스 모형을 그린카 환경에 접목하여, 특정 그린카 산업분석에 적용할 수 있는 시스템 다이내믹스 분석 모델을 수립하였다. 마지막으로 보다 미시적 관점에서 한국의 하이브리드 자동차 시장의 활성화 방안에 대하여 ABM을 이용하여 개별 소비자 관점에서 연구하였다. 이를 기반으로 현 한국시장에서 실행 중 혹은 실행 예정인 하이브리드 자동차 정책에 대한 분석 방안을 제시하였다.

경관 시뮬레이션을 통한 가로 녹시율 증진방안 및 목표수준 설정 - 서울시를 사례로 - (The Methods of Promoting Greenness and the Target Levels of Greenness in Streetscape Suggested by Computer Simulation - The Case of Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest the planting methods and the reasonable target levels of IGS for promoting green streetscape in Seoul. Using the three dimensional computer simulations, various greening methods were applied to evaluate effectiveness of promoting green streetscape. The results of this study suggest that promoting tree planting on car lane is more effective than on pedestrian side walks. In wide streets, the height of tree has positive effects on promoting green streetscape. In both car lane and pedestrian side walks, the greening effects of tree planting both in zig-zag pattern and in parallel pattern were similarly most high. The width of strip in side strip planting has positive effect on promoting green streetscape. Promoting stratified planting is very effective. Promoting greening wall on pedestrian side walks is more effective than on car lane. Combined the results of IGS survey with the public officials and complex simulations, suggest that the optimal levels of IGS is ranging from 12.0% in alleys to 54.0% in car lanes among arterial roads.

평균값 모델을 활용한 WGT 디젤엔진의 과급압력 및 EGR율 보정 방법 개발 (Development of the Calibration Method for the Boost Pressure and EGR Rate of a WGT Diesel Engine Using Mean Value Model)

  • Globally, many researchers have been trying to improve the fuel economy of a vehicle for satisfying future $CO_2$ regulation and minimizing air pollution problem. For the same background, diesel engine and vehicle system optimization using simulation models have been key technologies for the improvement of vehicle system efficiency. Therefore, in this study, calibration method for the air breathing system of a WGT diesel engine using mean value model has been composed for efficient engine and vehicle optimization simulation researches. And virtual WGT performances have been calculated for a 2 cylinder downsized diesel engine system. From these researches, the calibration method for the boost pressure and EGR rate of a virtual diesel engine related with WGT performances could be composed and some of technical issue related with downsized diesel engine could be investigated.
