To develop a new ginseng varieties with good quality and high yielding, a lot of individual ginseng plants were selected in the farmer's fields in 1972. Among them, a promising line, 7259-3-1, has been developed through comparative cultivation of several lines selected with pure line separation of local races in Korea Ginseng '||'&'||' Tobacco Research Institute. Preliminary and advanced yield trials were performed for 8 years. It was then designated as "KG 101" and tested in the regional yield and adaptation trials for 10 years (1981-1990). KG101 has a green stem with light violet and orange-yellow fruit and flowers 3-7 days later than local race, Takyungjong. Taproot of KG101 was longer than local race Jakyungjong, and root yield of KG101 was 9% higher than local race Jakyungjong. In red ginseng quality, the rates of Chun-Jeesam (Chun and Jee means 1st and 2nd grade, respectively) were 22.3% and 9.4% for KG101 and Jakyungjong, respectively. In these results, it was clarified that KG101 was superior ginseng line with good quality.y.

The automation of production process is actively expanding for the purpose of the cost reduction and quality assurance. Among these, automatic tracking of the product along the whole process of the production is also important topic. Typically this is done by adopting OCR technology. Conventional OCR technology operates well on the rather good quality of the image like as printed characters on the paper. In industrial application, IDs are marked on the metal surface, and this cause the height difference between background material and character. Illumination systems that guarantee an image with good quality may be a solution, but it is rather difficult to design such an illumination system. This paper proposes an algorithm for the recognition of vehicle's ID characters using edge projection and PCA (Principal Component Analysis). Proposed algorithm robustly operates under illumination change using the same parameters. Experimental results show the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

Kano model has been widely used to identify and classify customer attributes of a product or a service. The first step of Kano model application is the derivation of customer attributes, and brainstorming has been used conventionally for the purpose. A typical advantage of brainstorming is to get many ideas in a relatively short period, but the practicability of the derived ideas are known to be not so good. The derivation of good and practical ideas is important for the successful use of Kano model. Wish list, bug list and forced connection method as well as brainstorming were applied to PMP(Portable Multimedia Player) in order to derive customer attributes. To compare the idea generation methods, the derived attributes are classified and compared using Kano model.

Coating immobilization is the process by which the wet coating applied to paper or paperboard reaches the final form. A coating immobilization point is defined as the solids content reached during drying where no further redistribution of coating materials occurs. Good control of coating immobilization is important in producing coated paper and paperboard with consistent high quality. This paper discusses the technical concepts of how coatings immobilize, and describes the importance of good immobilization control on coating holdout and coating structure. The use of soy protein polymers to modify the coating immobilization point is discussed. Soy proteins, because of their interaction with coating pigments, make a significant contribution to the immobilization characteristics of coastings. This technology gives the formulator options for changing the immobilization point to improve the performance of the coating. The importance of immobilization on casting uniformity, microporosity and sheet qualities is discussed, including binder migration, mottle, gluing, and print quality.

Soluble solids($^{\circ}$Brix), acid content and edible part ratio of Citrus unshiu collected at sorting Places in south Cheju area wee more lowered, and peel thickness was more thickened with increasing fruit size. Compared to early variety of Citurs unshiu(C. unshiu Miyakawa Mar), peel thickness of medium variety of Citurs unshiu(C. unshiu Hayashi Mar) was more thickened, and edible part ratio was more lowered with increasing fruit size. Soluble solids of medium variety of Citurs unshiu were lowered, and acid contents were increased compared to early variety. Processing properties for pressing concentrated juice was good for early variety of Citurs unshiu, especially on fruit diameter of 50-65mm. Soluble solids, acid contents and juice ratio were decreased with increasing peel thickness. The quality properties for fresh fruit with peel thickness had a good correlation on early variety of Citurs unshiu, and these data are supposed to be applied to the quality evaluation of Citurs unshiu produced in Cheju.

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the influence of relational penetration capability on salesperson performance and the influence of customer orientation, customer knowledge accessibility, and salesperson-customer relationship quality on the relational penetration capability of the insurance service industry in Central Java. Research design, data, and methodology: This explanatory research involved 211 respondents. Path analysis was used to analyze the primary data obtained. Results: The customer orientation positively influences relational penetration capability and customer knowledge accessibility which can improve salesperson performance. The salesperson-customer relationship quality shows a positive impact on the salesperson's relational penetration capability, salesperson performance, and relational penetration capability which will lead to an improved salesperson-customer relationship. Higher knowledge levels of customer necessity have important implications for a salesperson's capability of finding potential customers and of fulfilling customers' requirements through careful analysis of necessity. Conclusions: The salespeople should be capable of building and maintaining a good relationship with their customers as an indication that salespeople of Insurance Service Company Distribution in Central Java have good performance.

The quality of healthcare in Korea is very good, especially in life threatening disease. However, the level of healthcare research in Korea is not good relative to that of engineering. International university rankings also were showed that engineering was generally higher ranking than medicine. The reason of this phenomenon was deeply related to expenditure on research and development (R&D). Although Korea had a lot of gross domestic expenditure on R&D (GERD), 75% of GERD was from business enterprise that was related to engineering. Healthcare expenditure of R&D from business enterprise is small. Healthcare expenditure from government budget allocation on R&D (GBARD) was smaller than engineering. Higher education expenditure on R&D of GERD was also small and the quantity and quality of researcher in higher education was not enough. For Korea's healthcare to become the growth engine for future, GBARD should be invested heavily in the healthcare, a large part of the increased GBARD must be invested in higher education, and the higher education should invest to secure the higher quality researcher stably.

2000년 초에 PC간 인터넷을 통한 음성통화를 시작으로 최근에는 스마트폰의 전용 애플리케이션까지 VoIP 기반의 음성통화 서비스가 발전해왔다. 이에 따라, VoIP를 통한 외부 공격 및 침입에 대한 사례가 발생되고 이를 해결하기 위한 보안 소프트웨어들이 나오기 시작하였다. 일반적으로 VoIP기반의 소프트웨어에 대한 품질 기준은 사용자의 통화품질이 최우선 이었다. 하지만, GS시험.인증 과정을 통해 VoIP 보안 소프트웨어가 통화품질에는 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 않지만 전체 운영 시스템에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 시험 중 발생한 문제에 대한 해결 방안 제시를 통해 VoIP의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있었다.
