다단 타설 긴장식 PSC 거더의 개발 (Development of Concrete Girders Placed and Prestressed in Multiple Stage)

  • A new design method for prestressed concrete girder is proposed in this study, which steps for manufacturing are; (1) the bottom part of concrete girder is placed and pretensioned by the first post-tensioning performed on the tendons located in the bottom part of concrete girder, and (2) the next step which consists of concrete placing and post-tensioning operation is followed by the previous step if required. This indicates that sufficient compressive stress can be effectively introduced at the bottom face in stepwise manner, when compared to conventional PSC girder. Two specimens are prepared and tested to investigate the short-term behavior of the PSC girders manufactured by the proposed method. Section Analysis results exhibit good agreements with the test results in terms of strain distribution across the girder section. In addition, flexural strength obtained from the tests is found to be similar to the expected based on Code(Korea). These demonstrate that the method proposed in this study is applicable to the design of PSC girders.

강거더교의 재하시험을 통한 내하력평가 (Rating of A Plate Girder Bridge through Load Test)

  • This paper presents the results of the load test performed on a steel plate girder bridge and suggests the procedure of bridge rating through the load test. In general the girder bridge resist the loads as a complex three-dimensional structural system. Therefore the test results are analyzed for the longitudinal and the transverse response characteristics. The bending moments based on the beam analysis are compared with the measured values for longitudinal response characteristics. The lateral load distribution characteristics are assessed based on the load test results for transverse response characteristics. Also the rating of the test bridge is performed by using the suggested rating procedure which considers the actual response characteristics of the bridge. The suggested procedure can be used for understanding of actual response characteristics and evaluating load carrying capacity of the steel plate girder bridge.

An assessment of the effect of hull girder vibration on the statistical characteristics of wave loads

  • For the assessment of statistical characteristics of wave loads in the real sea state, the probability distribution of wave loads are computed based on the sufficient duration of computations in irregular waves. First of all, the estimation of wave impact loads is well modified applying the displacement potential formulation, which was proposed by one of authors, for solving Wagner's flow model. Consequently, the present computation method is also modified. Prior to the computation in irregular waves, preliminary computation to determine the adequate number of realization of irregular waves is examined. The effect of hull girder vibration on the statistical characteristics is examined by means of the computation with/without hull girder vibration. It is found that hull girder vibration has a certain effect on the probability of occurrence of wave loads. Furthermore, computations taking account of the effect of operation, that is the effects of ship speed and course change, is conducted for the rational evaluation of the effects of hull girder vibration. It is clarified that the effect of operation on the statistical characteristics of wave loads is significant. It is verified that the evaluation without the effect of operation may overestimate the effect of hull girder vibration.

상판 조립식 교량 구조 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fabricated Concrete Deck Bridges)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a new structural system for precast deck plate bridge. In order to investigate load distribution and composite effects by connecting diaphragms and precast deck plate to main girder with shear keys, computer analysis with F.E.M S/W package program ADINA was carried out. As results of analysis, the following could be concluded : -The distance between diaphragms with6m is suficient for crossing load distribution effects. -The composite effects by connection deck plate to main girder with shear key is reasonable. -The gap between deck plate and main girder under given load is negligible.

연속 2-거더교에서 수평브레이싱이 하중 분배 및 비틂 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Lateral Bracing on the Load Distribution and Torsional Behaviors in Continuous Two-Girder Bridges)

  • 본 연구에서는 연속 2-거더교에서 하부 수평브레이싱의 유 무에 따른 하중분배효과를 파악하기 위하여 실제 교량으로부터 1/5 축소 제작된 모형 교량을 이용하여 재하 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과에 의하면 편재하된 하중에 대해 수평브레이싱이 설치되면 바닥판과 가로보의 구조적 기능이 향상되어 하중의 분배효과가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 해석모델을 사용하여 수평브레이싱 유 무에 따른 하중분배율을 정량적으로 평가해 본 결과, 수평브레이싱이 미설치된 경우는 대부분 바닥판에 의해 편재하 하중의 21% 정도가 반대측 거더로 전달되었고, 설치된 경우는 가로보와 브레이싱, 그리고 바닥판 모두 하중분배에 기여하여 하중분배효과가 1.7배 정도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 수평브레이싱이 설치로 인해 가로보와 바닥판, 그리고 수평브레이싱 부재가 유사폐합단면을 구성하여 시험체의 비틂 강성이 증가되기 때문으로 분석되었다.

  • Design live load and girder distribution factors play an important role in the current design procedures. The fraction of vehicle load effect transferred to a single member may be selected in accordance with current KBDC. However, the specified values, both design load and distribution factors involve considerable inaccuracies, These inaccuracies relate to the uncertainties of the structural analysis, especially any bias and scatter which drives from the use of simplified load distribution factors. In this study , based on several field measurement and finite element analysis, live load distribution effects of current KBDC are evaluated. The final values of the bias and coefficient of variation of "g"according to bridge type are determined. The bridge types are reinforced concrete slab, prestressed concrete girder and steel l-beam.el l-beam.

  • I 형 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 거더교에서 사용되는 활하중 분배계수는 대부분 외국의 설계기준이 반영된 것들이다. 따라서 교량단면과 부재의 설계 기준강도 등을 고려한 우리나라의 설계여건에 적합한 활하중 분배계수식의 개발이 필요하였다. 본 연구에서는 분배계수를 결정하는 주된 변수들을 선택하고 활하중 분배계수식을 개발하였다.

Loading capacity evaluation of composite box girder with corrugated webs and steel tube slab

  • This paper presents a type of composite box girder with corrugated webs and concrete filled steel tube slab to overcome cracking on the web and reduce self-weight. Utilizing corrugated steel web improves the efficiency of prestressing introduced into the top and bottom slabs due to the accordion effect. In order to understand the loading capacity of such new composite structure, experimental and numerical analyses were conducted. A full-scale model was loaded monotonically to investigate the deflection, strain distribution, loading capacity and stiffness during the whole process. The experimental results show that test specimen has enough loading capacity and ductility. Based on experimental works, a finite element (FE) model was established. The load-displacement curves and stress distribution predicted by FE model agree well with that obtained from experiments, which demonstrates the accuracy of proposed FE model. Moreover, simplified theoretical analysis was conducted depending on the assumptions which were confirmed by the experimental and numerical results. The simplified analysis results are identical with the tested and numerical results, which indicate that simplified analytical model can be used to predict the loading capacity of such composite girder accurately. All the findings of present study may provide reference for the application of such structure in bridge construction.

다단계 자중 프리플렉스 및 프리스트레싱 합성거더의 시공단계에 따른 휨성능 평가 (Flexural Performance of Multistage Prestressed and Self-weight Preflex Girder)

  • 이 논문은 거푸집의 설치없이 간편하게 합성단면을 형성하고 다단계의 자중 프리플렉스 및 프리스트레싱을 비교적 쉽게 구현할 수 있도록 고안된 합성거더 시스템의 휨성능에 관한 것이다. 시공단계를 고려한 3차원 유한요소해석모형을 수립하고 콘크리트 타설방법과 강연선 긴장방법을 변수로 지정하여 합성거더 단면에 작용하는 선응력 분포와 강연선에 의해 도입되는 긴장효과를 수치 해석적으로 분석하였다. 변수 해석 결과를 비교하여 응력분포가 가장 유리한 해석모델의 제작과정을 표준제작단계로 선정하여 비선형비탄성 해석을 통해 극한휨강도를 평가하였다. 이를 국내 설계기준에서 제시하는 기준강도와 비교 검토해보니, 적정 공칭내하력을 보유하는 것으로 확인되어 소요 안전율을 충분히 확보 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

PSC박스거더교 상부슬래브에서의 시간의존적 변형률 분포 (Distribution of Time-dependent Strains In the Top Slab of PSC Box Girder Bridge)

  • PSC(Prestressed Concrete) box girder bridges have been widely applied in Korea. A number of these bridges have been built by the segmental construction method in the longitudinal direction and(or) vertically along the cross-sectional depth with MSS(Moving Scaffolding System). An actual 2-span continuous PSC box girder bridge of Kyeongbu high speed railway was selected and instrumented with 96 vibrating wire embedded type strain gauges and 2 thermocouples. The long-term behavior of the bridge was monitored through two major points located at mid-span of the first span and at the internal support. Data collection started just after the casting of the first segment (U section). Concrete strain and temperature data were gathered regularly by a data logger (CR10) during 600 days under and after construction. According to this measurement, the parabolic longitudinal strain distribution in the top slab at mid-span is shown. And also, the same distribution at the interior support is shown. The compressive strains at the cantilever region are larger than at the web position and the internal part in the top slab. Strain difference largely happened during the early construction period.
