청소년이 지각한 부모 역할기대와 역할수행이 부모-자녀관계에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Adolescents' Parents' Role Expectation and Role Performance on Parents and Children's Relationship)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the variables on adolescents' perception of parents and children's relationship. Independent variables were the expectation of the parents' role, role performance by adolescents' perception and socio-demographic variables. In order to achieve this purpose, the survey was taken by 758 adolescents (middle & high school students) from Daegu. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, Factor Analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Multivariate Analysis of Variance, Scheffe test for post hoc, and Multiple Regression. The major findings were: 1) Role expectation had significant differences in the grade, gender, birth order, father's level of education, father's job, mother's age, and household economy of socio-demographic variables. Role performance showed significant differences in the grade, gender, father's age, parents' level of education, father's job, and household economy of socio-demographic variables. 2) Adolescents' perception of parents and children's relationship was affected by role expectation and role performance.

농촌관광 사업자의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Business Performance of Rural Tourism Operators)

  • The study aims to identify the factors affecting business performance of rural tourism operators. For this study, 1,004 questionnaires were collected by field survey of rural tourism operators. The linear multiple regression analysis were used to identify factors affecting performance of rural tourism business. The result indicate that the factors influencing the sales of rural tourism business were in order of owning sales facilities, perception of multi-functional value of agriculture and rural, group promotion, number of rooms, and gender. In the case of gender, it was found that females had a high probability of positively affecting sales. The factors influencing the satisfaction of the rural tourism business were in the order of management strategy, number of days of operation, perception of multi-functional value of agriculture and rural, and business career. In the case of management strategy, it was found that the differentiation strategy have a positively affecting the satisfaction of the rural tourism business. As for the business career, the shorter the career, the higher the probability of positively affecting the satisfaction of the rural tourism business. The results of this study would be useful for establishing strategies to improve the management performance of the rural tourism business.

소아용 균형 감각검사(PCTSIB)를 이용한 6세 및 7세 아동의 균형 수행력 비교 (A Comparative Study of Balance Performance in 6,7 years old by means of the Pediatric Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction for Balance)

  • The purpose of this study were to compare the balance performance with 44 children, who aged 6 and 7years old by means of the Pediatric Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction for Balance(PCTSIB), second is to determine whether age and gender-relatad difference were present, third is to found correlation of weight, height with duration of balance performance. All subjects were performed with different foot position that were feet-together, heel-toes. The starting position was that subject placed their hands on the hips. The results of each test were measured by stop watch. These collected data were analyzed by using oneway ANOVA, Sheffe test t-test and correlation. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. There were all significiant difference is all instances except condition 4 with heel-toes(p<0.05). The duration of balance performance of 7-year-olds group was more increased than 6-year-olds group. 2. There was statistically significiant difference in all instances by gender(p<0.05). 3. There was no correlation between weight or height duration of balance performance (p<0.05).

The Effect of Demographic Characteristics on Job Performance: An Empirical Study from Pakistan

  • This holistic research focused on the interactive relationship of different factors with a unique relationship with the dependent variable. The first research objective of the study was to identify the most significant factor that has an impact on Job performance while being mediated. The second objective was to see the moderating effect of gender on the relationship between transformation leadership and innovation on job performance. This research followed a purely quantitative research paradigm with a structured questionnaire to quantify the information collected from 96 respondents for the empirical analysis. For testing the research hypotheses, IBM SPSS version 24 and SmartPLS version 3.2.8 softwares were used to run the structural equation modeling to establish the causal relationship between the study variables. Most of the variables were found with a significant impact on job performance. Further, the hypotheses H3, H6, and H10 were rejected as these contributed insignificant towards the research model. This research was limited to specific educational institutions and businesses, and the timeframe was restrictive. The findings of this research can benefit policymakers and the operational side of various industries. Future research may consider the difference in gender in predicting employee engagement through leadership and innovation.

  • Corporate governance and innovation have been a hot topic in recent boardroom talks, whether in the trade or manufacturing industries. Governance innovations are highly significant for the survival of the motor vehicle industry like Honda, Nissan, New General Motors, and Toyota. The study chooses the motor vehicle industry which crosses the age of a century and sufficient corroborative support exists with the perspective of distinctive objectives. Using the population of all the automobile companies listed on the Pakistan stock exchange (PSX), we distill automobile companies to evaluate the firm performance using the panel data regression approach. The results show that there is a significant relationship between gender diversity, audit committees, and firm performance. Further, board size also has a positive impact on firm performance. We identify that the governance mechanism of firms found in default of the frequency of audit committee meetings. By considering results, only limited knowledge of finance directors and also very few numbers of female directors are on the board. Empirical findings of this work might be useful for policymakers in attempting to draft a corporate governance framework better able to monitor the financial performance of firms through female directors and also serve as a catalyst for the regulators of electric vehicles.

Using Semantic Knowledge in the Uyghur-Chinese Person Name Transliteration

  • In this paper, we propose a transliteration approach based on semantic information (i.e., language origin and gender) which are automatically learnt from the person name, aiming to transliterate the person name of Uyghur into Chinese. The proposed approach integrates semantic scores (i.e., performance on language origin and gender detection) with general transliteration model and generates the semantic knowledge-based model which can produce the best candidate transliteration results. In the experiment, we use the datasets which contain the person names of different language origins: Uyghur and Chinese. The results show that the proposed semantic transliteration model substantially outperforms the general transliteration model and greatly improves the mean reciprocal rank (MRR) performance on two datasets, as well as aids in developing more efficient transliteration for named entities.

Chinese Consumers' Intention to Use Re-Commerce Platforms - Perspective Based on the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) -

  • Contemporary consumers' acceptance of second-hand products has been increasingly improving worldwide, especially in China. Based on the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, we developed and empirically validated a research framework to predict consumers' motivation to use re-commerce platforms. We explored the diverse factors influencing mobile commerce usage through re-commerce platforms. Furthermore, this study investigated the role of gender differences as a factor moderating the association between several constructs and the intention to use re-commerce platforms. A total of 226 consumer responses were collected. The results indicated that hedonic motivation, performance expectancy, consumer habits, social influence, and price value affect consumers' attitudes toward re-commerce platforms. The effects of the attitude toward re-commerce platforms on the intention to use these platforms were also statistically significant. When effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and consumer habits in re-commerce platform usage increase, male consumers' attitude toward its usage, in particular, also increases. Meanwhile, when performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, and consumer habits in re-commerce platform usage increase, the attitude toward its usage increases among female consumers. Moreover, our results indicate that the two gender groups present different characteristics regarding re-commerce platform usage. Therefore, this study offers a theoretical basis for future analyses of second-hand trade.

혁신성이 SNS 사용 의도에 미치는 영향: UTAUT를 중심으로 (Influence of the Innovativeness on the Use Intention in SNS: Focused on UTAUT)

  • SNS는 인터넷 상에서 비슷한 관심을 가진 사람간에 관계를 형성하고 정보나 컨텐츠를 공유하거나 인맥 관리 등과 같은 다양한 활동을 지원하는 서비스이다. 본 연구는 UTAUT를 기반으로 하여 혁신성이 사용 의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 성과 기대, 예상 노력, 사회적 영향, 혁신성을 독립 변수로 하고, 성별과 혁신성을 조절 변수로 하여 연구 모델을 설정하였다. 403명의 대학생을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성과 기대, 예상 노력, 사회적 영향, 혁신성은 사용 의도에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 예상 노력이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별은 조절 효과가 있는 반면에, 혁신성은 조절 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 남성의 경우 성과 기대가 사용 의도에 미치는 영향이 강하게 나타났으며, 여성의 경우 사회적 영향이 사용 의도에 미치는 영향이 강하게 나타났다.

e-러닝 컨텐츠에서 문제풀이 정보의 제시유형에 따른 성과 차이 분석 (The effect of types of test information on learning performance in the e-Learning contents)

  • e-러닝으로 대변되는 교육의 변화는 교수중심 수업방식이 학습자 중심의 수업방식으로, 기존의 교과서 중심에서 벗어나 다양한 멀티미디어 매체를 이용한 수업환경으로 바뀌어가고 있다. 지금까지 e-러닝 성과를 높이기 위한 다양한 연구가 있어왔고, 많은 연구에서 컨텐츠 품질이 학습 성과에 영향을 미지는 중요한 요인 중의 하나로_ 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 목적은 e-러닝 컨텐츠에서 문제풀이 정보의 제시유형과 성별이 학습자의 e-러닝 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는 것이다. 분석 결과는 첫째, 학습 이해도에 있어서 제시 유형과 성별간의 상호작용 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 여성의 경우 문제풀이 정보를 제공하는 것이 높은 이해도를 보인 반면에 남성의 경우는 설명형으로 제공해야 높은 학습 이해도를 보였다. 둘째, 학습 이해도와 학습 만족도에 있어서 문제풀이 정보의 제시 유형간에 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났는데, 설명형이 가장 높은 학습 이해도와 만족도를 보였다. 마지막으로, 남성과 여성간의 성별 차이는 학습 이해도와 만족도에 아무런 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

내의 소재에 대한 재질선호 및 요구 성능에 대한 연구 (A study on the Preference of Material quality and the Demand Performance of Clothing for Underwear Materials)

  • This study has been made to examine the basic information, the preferences of material quality, and the demand performance of clothing for underwear materials between atopic patients and non-patients. The measurement tool was a questionnaire. For statistical analysis of data, crosstabs, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test and ANOVA through SPSS for Windows(version 14.0) were used. The results obtained are as follows. The degree of the basic knowledge about clothing materials indicated that women was higher than men. The material decision method and the most considering part in case of selecting underwear products showed difference between men and women. The preference factors for underwear material quality were drawn with the five factors of sense of weight/pliability, lustering/see-through, tactility, and sense of cold and warmth. The preferred underwear material showed difference according to gender, existence and nonexistence of atopic determatitis, and degree of strength of skin itching caused by clothing materials. The demand performances of clothing in case of selecting underwear were drawn with the four factors of hygiene/practicality, skin protection, quality of materials, and aesthetic attribute. The demand performance of underwear showed difference according to gender, existence and nonexistence of atopic determatitis, degree of strength of skin itching caused by clothing materials.
