The digital electronic switching system has some problems, when this system processes OAM(Operation, Administration And Maintenance) messages about the fault, the traffic, the account, and the performance, etc. , at the present. Therefore, we studied on Methods that could process OAM messages out of all digital electronic switching systems and, first of all, developed the MGS (Message Gathering System) to be able to accept and process the fault message of OAM messages out of all digital electronic switching systems in real time.
In this study, an automatic system for improving the working environment and increasing production efficiency of a laver aquaculture industry in Korea was developed by combining a hydraulic control system and a load cell in a current landing work of the laver. The improved gathering laver system allowed the automatic gathering process of the laver in the sea with the hydraulic control system connected to a cutting machine of the laver on the operating ship, which has been used for gathering the laver semi-automatically in a form of the traditional farming method. The transporting process of the laver from an operating ship to the land was improved as follows. A frame installed on the operating ship and the bag nets were designed and made to hold about 1,000 kg of the laver inside. The bag nets contain the laver on the improved operating ship were tied in knots and hooked on a crane using a load cell. The weight is measured immediately by lifting the bag nets through the load cell system. Weight information is communicated to the fishermen and successful bidders through the application. The advantages of the improved system can help fishermen to fish by improving their working environment and increasing production efficiency. The field survey to improve the landing operation of the laver aquaculture was conducted in Gangjin, Goheung, Shinan, Wando, Jindo, and Haenam in South Jeonnam Province. A total of 10 sites including Gunsan in Jeonbuk Province, Daebu Island in Ansan City, Jebu Island in Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province, and Seocheon in Chungnam Province were searched to collect data. Prototypes of the system were tested at the auction house of laver located in Goheung, where laver collection using hydraulic control and landing using road cell could be improved.
In South Korea, the exporters of items related to nuclear power generation are diversified. Consequently, there is a risk of illegitimate export by companies failing to recognize the export control system because the awareness about this system for the strategic items among the subcontractors of nuclear power facilities is limited. To prevent illegitimate export of the strategic items, it is necessary to conduct outreach activities regarding the export control system for the related companies. Additionally, the exporters and export license examiners should consider whether an export target is on the Denial List, who may divert the strategic items to weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, the Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control developed two systems for controlling illegitimate export of the Trigger List items. The first system, Nuclear Industry Information Collection and Analysis System, can gather information about the key nuclear industries in Korea and analyze the dealing of strategic items. The second system, Denied Persons Information Gathering System, can regularly gather information about the denied persons and provide the updated data to the exporters and regulatory examiners. These two systems can be used for outreach activities and export license examination to prevent illegitimate export of the strategic items.
To maximize performance in a high-performance multicore processor system. it is essential to enable effective data communication between processing cores. Data communication between processor nodes can be broadly classified into collective and point-to-point communications. Collective communication comprises scattering and gathering. This paper presents a efficient message scattering and gathering based on processing node status. In the proposed algorithms, the transmission order is changed according to the data size of the pre-existing communication, to reduce the waiting time required until the collective communications begin. From the simulation, the performances of the proposed message scattering and gathering algorithms were improved by approximately 71.41% and 69.84%.
This paper presents a neural network model representing complex hydro-thermo-dynamic characteristics of a steam generator in nuclear power plants. The key modeling processes include training data gathering process, analysis of system dynamics and determining of the neural network structure, training process, and the final process for validation of the trained model. In this paper, we suggest a training data gathering method from an unstable steam generator so that the data sufficiently represent the dynamic characteristics of the plant over a wide operating range. In addition, we define the inputs and outputs of neural network model by analyzing the system dimension, relative degree, and inputs/outputs of the plant. Several types of neural networks are applied to the modeling and training process. The trained networks are verified by using a class of test data, and their performances are discussed.
The purpose of this study is to find the light intensity which induced maximum gathering rate and to observe the variation of the gathering rate both in daytime and at night by using rock trout, He.'~agrammos otakii (Jordan et starks). An experimental tank (360L x SOW x 55H cm) was set up in a dark room. An illumination system was attached to the end of one side of the tank to control horizontal light intensity. Six artificial light sources were prepared by combination of two light bulbs (5 W, 150 W) and seven filters. During the experiment water depth was maintained 50 em level in the tank. The tank was marked into six longitudinal sections each being 60 em long to observe the distribution of fish. The fish were acclimatized in dark condition for 50 minutes prior to the main experiment. Upon turning on the light, the number of fish in each section was counted 40 times every 30 seconds. and the gathering rate was obtained from the average number of fish in each section. The light intensity inducing maximum gathering rate was O. 7 lux (0. 5~1. 1 lux) in the daytime and 5. 2/ux (3.2-7.7 lux) at night. The variation of the gathering rate of fish in illumination time was sma II and showed the decreasing trend.
This thesis is to study the change in the information gathering system and the management of the technical cooperation. It is on urgent business for an enterprise or a preson to get proper information in modern information flood. Agriculture production is a critical human intensive task, which takes place in all regions of the world. The process to grow and harvest crops is labor intensive in many countries due to the lack of automation and advanced technology. Much of the difficult, dangerous and dirty labor of crop production can be automated with intelligent and robotic platforms. We propose an intelligent, agent-oriented robotic team, which can enable the process of harvesting, gathering and collecting crops and fruits, of many types, from agricultural fields. This paper describes a novel robotic organization enabling humans, robots and agents to work together for automation of gathering and collection functions. The focus of the research is a model, called HARMS, which can enable Humans, software Agents, Robots, Machines and Sensors to work together indistinguishably. With this model, any capability-based human-like organization can be conceived and modeled, such as in manufacturing or agriculture. In this research, we model, design and implement a technology application of knowledge-based robot-to-robot and human-to-robot collaboration for an agricultural gathering and collection function. The gathering and collection functions were chosen as they are some of the most labor intensive and least automated processes in the process acquisition of agricultural products. The use of robotic organizations can reduce human labor and increase efficiency allowing people to focus on higher level tasks and minimizing the backbreaking tasks of agricultural production in the future. In this work, the HARMS model was applied to three different robotic instances and an integrated test was completed with satisfactory results that show the basic promise of this research.
