  • If we analyze games and game communities which are mostly consumed by the young, we can get the meaningful analysis result of youth culture. The content analysis and the discourse analysis methods were used in this study since the relationship between media and culture was exquisitely reciprocal. The object of analysis is the domestic community of the simulation game, Sims 2, which reflects the identities of the game players. I was searching for the social and cultural meaning of the game activities, and could find the content's characteristics of 'Sims 2' players' discourses. The results showed that the game media has social and cultural significance by providing the players a self-realization, identity workshop, virtual identity that diverges from their own ones with an alternative sex, constructing a cultural property with the involved game players, and increasing their virtual consumption and self-examination of antisocial behaviors in the game.

  • The purpose of this study is to implement game content within the generative artificial intelligence module Chat-GPTs, grounded in the humanistic discourse of self-reflection. This content aims to empower the dignity of the silver generation, which has been marginalized by digital technology. Simultaneously, we intend to prototype a digital psychotherapeutic tool. The development of a flexible device that adapts to the silver generation's living environment and temporal constraints is also part of our plan. However, there are still few commercially available products, and digital therapeutics developed in the form of content are virtually nonexistent. The goal is to implement game content that allows the elderly, who have been marginalized by digital technology, to find their true dignity. Simultaneously, we plan to commercialize a prototype of digital psychotherapy that can flexibly adapt to the range of living environments and time constraints of the elderly. This study has been extended based on the game content 'Daily Run' created by Hyein Kwon, an undergraduate student at Kyungil University.

Rating system is critical apparatus of game policy because it works as a kind of counterweight between different actors. We analyse to apply the three form of governmentality by Faucault. Rating system can be commonly considered as security mechanism. Korean rating system has hoped to be so but its effect was not actually. We should see why that system evolve to disciplinary mechanism, not toward security mechanism. Sound governance shows to be ensure all actors to participate its procedures practically, through constituting more rich discourse.
