The Effect of Stress on the Happiness Index of Nursing College Students : Focusing on Mediating Effects of Optimism (스트레스가 간호대학생의 행복지수에 미치는 영향 : 낙관성의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of optimism on stress on happiness index. The subjects were 3 and 4 grade students who had clinical practice experience among 3 nursing students at G university, and 362 questionnaires were used as research data. The data analysis used regression analysis, SPSS macro and bootstrapping methods to examine the mediating effects of optimism on college students' stress and happiness. The results showed that stress, happiness, and optimism were significantly correlated, and stress had a direct effect on college students' happiness. In other words, the higher the level of stress, the lower the happiness index of college students. The optimism was partially mediated between stress and college students' happiness index. Therefore, in order to increase the happiness index of college students, it is necessary to develop and implement a program for happiness enhancement as one of the program strategies that can enhance stress.

Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Imagery and Deep Learning UNet to Classification Upland Crop in Small Scale Agricultural Land (무인항공기와 딥러닝(UNet)을 이용한 소규모 농지의 밭작물 분류)

  • In order to increase the food self-sufficiency rate, monitoring and analysis of crop conditions in the cultivated area is important, and the existing measurement methods in which agricultural personnel perform measurement and sampling analysis in the field are time-consuming and labor-intensive for this reason inefficient. In order to overcome this limitation, it is necessary to develop an efficient method for monitoring crop information in a small area where many exist. In this study, RGB images acquired from unmanned aerial vehicles and vegetation index calculated using RGB image were applied as deep learning input data to classify complex upland crops in small farmland. As a result of each input data classification, the classification using RGB images showed an overall accuracy of 80.23% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.65, In the case of using the RGB image and vegetation index, the additional data of 3 vegetation indices (ExG, ExR, VDVI) were total accuracy 89.51%, Kappa coefficient was 0.80, and 6 vegetation indices (ExG, ExR, VDVI, RGRI, NRGDI, ExGR) showed 90.35% and Kappa coefficient of 0.82. As a result, the accuracy of the data to which the vegetation index was added was relatively high compared to the method using only RGB images, and the data to which the vegetation index was added showed a significant improvement in accuracy in classifying complex crops.

Evaluation for Rock Cleavage Using Distribution of Microcrack Spacings (II) (미세균열의 간격 분포를 이용한 결의 평가(II))

  • The characteristics of the rock cleavage in Jurassic granite from Geochang were analysed. The evaluation for the three directions of rock cleavages was performed using the parameters such as (1) frequency of microcrack spacing(N), (2) total spacing(${\leq}1mm$), (3) mean spacing($S_{mean}$), (4) difference value($S_{mean}-S_{median}$) between mean spacing($S_{mean}$) and median spacing($S_{median}$), (5) density of spacing(${\rho}$), (6) difference value between two exponents for the whole range of the diagrams(${\lambda}_H-{\lambda}_L$), (7) mean value of exponent(${\lambda}_M$), (8) mean value of exponential constant($a_M$), (9) difference value between two exponents for the section under the initial points of intersection(${\lambda}t_H-{\lambda}t_L$), (10) mean value of exponent(${\lambda}t_M$) and (11) mean value of exponential constant($at_M$). The results of correlation analysis between the values of parameters for three rock cleavages and those for three planes are as follows. The values of (I) parameters(1, 2, 7 and 8) and (II) parameters(3, 4 and 5) are in orders of (I) H(hardway, (H1 + H2)/2) < G(grain, (G1 + G2)/2) < R(rift, (R1 + R2)/2) and (II) R < G < H. On the contrary, the values of the above two groups(I~II) of parameters for three planes show reverse orders. Besides, the values of parameter $6({\lambda}_H-{\lambda}_L)$, parameter $9({\lambda}t_H-{\lambda}t_L)$, parameter $10({\lambda}t_M)$ and parameter $11(at_M)$ for three planes are in orders of R(rift plane, (G1 + H2)/2) < H(hardway plane, (R2 + G2)/2) < G(grain plane, (R1 + H2)/2), H < G < R, H < R < G and R < H < G, respectively. The values of the above four parameters for three rock cleavages show the various orders of R < H < G, R < H < G, H < G < R and H < G < R, respectively. Meanwhile, the spacing values equivalent to the initial points of contact and intersection between the two directions of diagrams were derived. The above spacing values for three rock cleavages are in order of rift(R1 and R2) < grain(G1 and G2) < hardway(H1 and H2). The spacing values for three planes are in order of rift plane(G1 and H1) < hardway plane(R2 and G2) < grain plane(R1 and H2). In particular, the intersection angles for three rock cleavages and three planes are in order of rift and rift plane < hardway and hardway plane < grain and grain plane. Consequently, the two diagrams of rift(R1 and R2) and rift plane(G1 and H1) show higher frequency of the point of contact and intersection. These characteristics of change were derived through the general chart for three planes and three rock cleavages. Lastly, the correlation analysis through the values of parameters along with the distribution pattern is useful for discriminating three quarrying planes.

  • Rheological properties of gelatinized potato starch were investigated with Brookfield wide-gap viscometer at various conditions. The gelatinized potato starch at 3-7% showed a pseudoplastic behavior with yield stress, and presented thixotropic properties with time-dependent structural decays. The consistency index and yield stress of gelatinized starch were proportional to starch concentration but inversely proportional to measurement temperature, and the flow behavior index did not show constant relationship. The consistency index and yield stress of the gelatinized starch on addition of phosphate decreased as the flow behavior index increased. The values of activation energy at initial and equilibrium were 1.52 kcal/g.mole and 127 kcal/g.mole, respectively.

  • 우리는 DSLR 카메라의 RGB 소자를 일종의 필터로 활용하여 성단의 H-R도를 얻었다. 일반적으로 성단의 H-R도는 U, B, V, R, I-대역 필터를 사용하여 얻는다. 필터가 장착된 CCD 카메라 장비는 고가이거나 교육적으로 활용하기에는 수월하지 않아서 학교 또는 국/공립/사립 천문대에서의 교육적 활용에 제한적인 측면이 있다. 이 연구에서 우리는 학생들이 사용하기 쉬운 DSLR 카메라로 성단의 H-R도를 구현하는 방법을 제시하여 천문학 교육에 활용하고자 한다. 우리는 DSLR 카메라의 RGB 소자를 사용하여 M45 성단의 B-G 색지수를 얻고, 이를 이미 알려진 M45의 구성원의 B-V 색지수와 비교하여 선형적인 관계를 알아내었다. 우리는 DSLR 카메라의 B-G 색지수로 H-R도를 성공적으로 작성할 수 있었다. 별의 색-온도 관계와 항성 진화 실험학습에 소형망원경과 DSLR 카메라가 천문학 교육에 활용되기를 기대한다.

  • The results of experimental culture for Koran mitten crab, Eriocheir japonicus at different outdoor culture methods such as rice field, pond, and vinyl house from July 21, 1994 to October 23, 1995 were summaried as fellows. 1. The water temperature was 2${\circ}C$~32${\circ}C$ during the culture periods from July 21, 1994 to October 23, 1995, and it ranged from 15${\circ}C$ to 30${\circ}C$ during the terms showing the intake habit of feed with these temperature maintained for 281 days of 460days of the total cultur periods. 2. The gain weight of Korean mitten crabs was 1,711.3g at the rice field, and 1,565.4g at the pond, and 1.220.0g at the vinyl house. The survial rate was 22.7% at the pond, and 18.7% at the rice field, and 18.3% at the vinyl house with the average survial rate of 19.9%. The daily growth rate of cauapace width was 0.64% at the rice field, and 0.61% at the pond, and 0.59% at the vinyl house. And the gain weight and the daily growth rate were the best at the rice field. 3. When the culture was finished, the frequency of carapace width of 4.0~4.9cm was 57.1% at the rice field, and 33.3% at the vinyl house. Therefore, culture at the rice field for the cultur of mitten card was considered to be the best outdoor culture method from the point of view in the fast growth and polyculture feasibility with paddy rice.

Effect of Pruning on the Yield and Fruit Quality of 'Godongsi' Persimmon (전정처리가 감나무 '고동시'의 수확량과 과실품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to obtain basic data on high-quality fruit production and efficient cultivation of persimmon cultivar "Godongsi". In the second year of pruning, the number of fruits per tree according to the number of fruit-bearing mother shoots (300, 400, 500, and 700 [control] treatments) was 676.3, 786.0, 866.7, and 1238.7, respectively. Persimmon cultivar "Godongsi" had a decrease in number of fruits per tree and increase in fruit weight as the pruning intensity increased. The average fruit weight in the 300 treatment group was 212.2 g, which was 1.5 times heavier than that in the control. For a high-quality dried persimmon processing, the rate of grade L fruits (170 g<x≤200 g) and over according to the number of fruit-bearing mother shoots was 86.9%, 48.6%, 33.5%, and 8.1%, respectively. The fruit grade of the pruned treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control. Based on the selling price of dried persimmon, the production amount was significantly higher in the 300 treatment than that in the control. When there were many fruits per tree, there was a decrease in quality and increase in cost of harvesting and processing. In conclusion, pruning is essential to increase the fruit quality (fruit weight and grade) of persimmon cultivar "Godongsi". Moreover, the suitable number of fruit-bearing mother shoots was 300.

  • Spectral gain variation characteristics of the silica-based erbium doped fiber amplifiers is investigated in the 1545-1557 nm wavelength region. For a given length of the erbium doped fiber, the gain($G_0$) with minimum spectral gain variation is uniquely determined. The spectral gain imbalance DG is nearly proportional to the difference between G0 and the operating gain(G) with the proportional constant of 0.1-0.2 dB/dB. For the gain flattened EDFA at the input power of -20 dBm/ch. and the gain of 21 dB, the output power and the optical signal to noise variations after 12 cascaded EDFAs were 5 dB and 3 dB, respectively.

  • Cultural conditions for the polysaccharide production by Pseudomonas elodea ATCC 31461, a thermogellable polysaccharide producer, were investigated. Optimum condition for polysaccharide production were: temperature; $30^{\circ}C$, pH; 6.5, glucose; 25 g/L. nitrogen source; peptone, C/N ratio; 5.0. Maximum production and yield at this condition were ca. 32 g/L and 128%, viscosity of 1% polysaccharide solution was 837 mPas at 35/sec.. Consistency index and flow behaviour index were 2570 mPas and 0.66

A Study to Improve the Classification Accuracy of Mosaic Image over Korean Peninsula: Using PCA and RGB Indices (한반도 모자이크 영상의 분류 정확도 향상 기법 연구: PCA 기법과 RGB 지수를 활용하여)

  • Korea Aerospace Research Institute produces mosaic images of the Korean Peninsula every year to promote the use of satellite images and provides them to users in the public sector. However, since the pan-sharpening and color balancing methodologies are applied during the mosaic image processing, the original spectral information is distorted. In addition, there is a limit to analyze using mosaic images as mosaic images provide only Red, Green and Blue bands excluding Near Infrared (NIR) band. Therefore, in order to compensate for these limitations, this study applied the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) technique and indices extracted from R, G, B bands together for image classification and compared the classification results. As a result of the analysis, the accuracy of the mosaic image classification result was about 67.51%, while the accuracy of the image classification result using both PCA and RGB indices was about 75.86%, confirming that the accuracy of the image classification result can be improved. As a result of comparing the PCA and the RGB indices, the accuracy of the image classification result was about 64.10% and 74.05% respectively. Through this, it was confirmed that the classification accuracy using the RGB indices was higher among the two techniques, and implications were derived that it was important to use high quality reference or supplementary data. In the future, additional indices and techniques are needed to improve the classification and analysis results of mosaic images, and related research is expected to increase the utilization of images that provide only R, G, B or limited spectral information.
