Kinematic GPS Positioning with Baseline Length Constraint Using the Maximum Possibility Estimation Method

  • Based on the possibility theory and the fuzzy set, the Maximum Possibility Estimation method and its applications in kinematic GPS positioning are presented in this paper. Firstly, the principle and the optimal criterion of the Maximum Possibility Estimation method are explained. Secondly, the kinematic GPS positioning model of single epoch single frequency with baseline length constraint is developed. Then, the authors introduce the artificial immune algorithm and use this algorithm to search the global optimum of the Maximum Possibility Estimation model. The results of some examples show that the method is efficient for kinematic GPS positioning.

  • 본 논문에서는 문서 자동 인식 시스템에서 다중 카테고리로 모호하게 인식되어 질 수 있는 조합 심볼을 하나의 메타 심볼로 간주하고, 이 심볼을 fuzzy set theory에 기초를 두어 분석을 하였다. 분석 과정에서는 메타 심볼이 갖는 프리미티브들의 기울기와 길이, 프리미티브들간의 연결 및 프리미티브의 위치등의 어트리뷰트들을 이용하였다. 모호성을 내재하고 있는 메타 심볼들을 ACS(Ambiguous Category Set)의 원소로 간주하였으며, ACS의 원소들은 모호성의 원인을 제공하는 부분패턴들을 공동으로 포함하고 있다. 부분패턴을 구성하고 있는 프리미티브를 분리하여 어트리뷰트 값을 측정하고, 정의한 MF(Membership 함수)의 파라메터로 사용하였다. MF에서 얻어진 MFV(Membership Function Value)는 모호한 메타 심볼이 어떤 카테고리로 분류될 수 있는지를 나타내도록 하였다.

  • The fuzzy set theory has been wide used in clustering of machine learning with data mining since fuzzy theory has been introduced in 1960s. In particular, fuzzy C-means algorithm is a popular fuzzy clustering algorithm up to date. An element is assigned to any cluster with each membership value using fuzzy C-means algorithm. This algorithm is affected from the location of initial cluster center and the proper cluster size like a general clustering algorithm as K-means algorithm. This setting up for initial clustering is subjective. So, we get improper results according to circumstances. In this paper, we propose a cluster merging using enhanced density based fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm for solving this problem. Our algorithm determines initial cluster size and center using the properties of training data. Proposed algorithm uses grid for deciding initial cluster center and size. For experiments, objective machine learning data are used for performance comparison between our algorithm and others.

Runoff Forecasting Model by the Combination of Fuzzy Inference System and Neural Network (Fuzzy추론 시스템과 신경회로망을 결합한 하천유출량 예측)

  • This study is aimed at the development of a runoff forecasting model by using the Fuzzy inference system and Neural Network model to solve the uncertainties occurring in the process of rainfall-runoff modeling and improve the modeling accuracy of the stream runoff forecasting. The Neuro-Fuzzy (NF) model were used in this study. The NF model, recently received a great deal of attention, improve the existing Neural Networks by the aid of the Fuzzy theory applied to each node. The study area is the downstreams of Naeseung-chun. Therefore, time-dependent data was obtained from the Wolpo water level gauging station. 11 and 2 out of total 13 flood events were selected for the training and testing set of model respectively. The schematic diagram method and the statistical analysis are conducted to evaluate the feasibility of rainfall-runoff modeling. The model accuracy was rapidly decreased as the forecasting time became longer. The NF model can give accurate runoff forecasts up to 4 hours ahead in standard above the Determination coefficient $(R^2)$ 0.7. In the comparison of the runoff forecasting using the NF and TANK models, characteristics of peak runoff in the TANK model was higher than ones in the NF models, but peak values of hydrograph in the NF models were similar.

  • In this paper, it is presented a new technique to the design and real-time implementation of fuzzy control system based-on digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness for system of industrial robot. Fuzzy control has emerged as one of the most active and fruitful areas for research in the applications of fuzzy set theory, especially in the real of industrial processes. In this thesis, a self-organizing fuzzy controller for the industrial robot manipulator with a actuator located at the base is studied. A fuzzy logic composed of linguistic conditional statements is employed by defining the relations of input-output variable of the controller, In the synthesis of a FLC, one of the most difficult problems is the determination of linguistic control rules from the human operators. To overcome this difficult, SOFC is proposed fir a hierarchical control structure consisting of basic level and high level that modify control rules. The proposed SOFC scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Performance of the SOFC is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for robot with eight joints.

  • This study seeks a way a way of dealing with unformatted natural language considering fuzzy set theory. The goal of the study is to establish a framework of an effective language understanding system that is linked to language classification system This study has found that languate understanding is strongly influenced by the language classification. The understanding of language. This study shows that the precision of language classification depends upon the way of how the language is classified in advance. In this study, a fuzzy logic was used to improve the precision of language classification. It was considered that the fuzzy logic might be albe to distinctively classify nuatural language texts into pretinent homogenious groups where contents of the language were identical. Accordingly, in the study, it was expected that classification of language were precisely classified by the fuzzy logic. An experimentalsystems was designed to evaluate the performane of a natural language understanding system that was connected to a fuzzy language classification system. Finally, the experiment suggests that a successful language understanding should require an real time interaction between mem andmachine fuzzy provious language classification.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 G. Cantor 에 의하여 출발된 집합론을 보통집합 이론이라고 구별하여 부를 때, 보통 집합 이론이 그 바탕에 깔고 있는 논리적 제한 점들 곧, 배중률이라든지 모순의 법칙 등을 어떻게 보완할 수 있을 것인가\ulcorner 하는 점과 그러한 점을 보완하여야 할 필요성에 대하여도 생각하고자 한다. 그런 관점에서 보통집합 이론과 퍼지집합 이론의 기본개념을 상호 비교함으로써 앞서 제기한 문제의 보완 요소를 찾아보려고 한다. 실제에 있어 인간의 사고 가운데에서는 중간을 배제하는 일이 없음에도 불구하고 이를 수학적으로 접근하고 표현하는 수단이 부족함으로 인하여 부자연스러운 논리의 법칙을 받아들일 수밖에 없었던 것도 사실이다. 특히, 논리적 응용력이 부족한 중등과정의 학생들에게 있어서 수학이 전적으로 2가 논리에 의하여 지배되고 있다는 방식으로만 지도하는 것은 여러 가지 측면에서 그 내용의 보완이 요구된다. 보다 다양한 수학적 표현의 여지를 열어주는 지도법은 쉼없이 연구되어야 할 것이다. 무엇보다도 배우는 학생들이 보다 폭 넓은 사고의 영역을 소유하고, 그를 바탕으로 창의적이고 자유로운 발상이 이어 질 수 있도록 하기 위하여는 교사의 수학적 시야가 보다 넓고 유연해져야 한다함은 재론할 필요가 없을 것이다. 그런 의미에서 본 논문이 작은 역할을 할 수 있기를 바란다.

  • Molodtsov [D. Molodtsov, Soft set theory First results, Comput. Math. Appl. 37 (1999) 19-31] introduced the concept of soft set as a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainties that is free from the difficulties that have troubled the usual theoretical approaches. In this paper we apply the notion of soft sets by Molodtsov to the theory of BCC-algebras. The notion of (trivial, whole) soft BCC-algebras and soft BCC-subalgebras are introduced, and several examples are provided. Relations between a fuzzy subalgebra and a soft BCC-algebra are given, and the characterization of soft BCC-algebras is established.
