  • In this paper, the fuzzy control with variable input gain is applied to maintain the consistent tension in the process of taking up and releasing texture. In the process of discharging web on one side rolling it on another, the take-up drum gets smaller on the release drum side as it gets bigger on the rolling side, thus it is necessary to change the balance of velocity between the sides. In order to solve the problem a tension controller is necessary. The PI control method has been employed to maintain the consistent tension, but the PI control method produces a problem which requires an experienced worker with the traits of the machine, in order to perform the fine adjustments according to the environment of the process. For solving the above problem, we apply fuzzy control to the tension system, in order to produce a uniform roll. For the performance test, the fuzzy controller does not need to revise the parameters. Therefore the fuzzy controller exhibits an excellent additivity for the tension system where the system is changed with time.

  • This Paper presents a speed controller based on the adaptive fuzzy tuning method for brushless DC(BLDC) motor drives under load variations. Generally, the speed tracking control systems use PI controller due to its simple structure and easy of design. PI controller, however, suffers from the electrical machine parameter variations and disturbances. In order to improve the tracking control performance under load variations, PI controller of which the parameters are modified during operation by adaptive fuzzy tuning method. This method based on optimal fuzzy logic system has simple structure and computational simplicity. It needs only sample data which is obtained by optimal controller off-line. As the sample data implemented in the adaptive fuzzy system can be modified or extended, a flexible control system can be obtained. Simulation results show the usefulness of the proposed controller.

  • 유도전동기의 벡터제어는 고성능 적용에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 드라이브 성능은 파라미터 변동에 의한 동조는 여전히 한계가 있다. 다양한 속도영역에서 운전하기 위하여 종래에는 PI과 같은 제어기를 보통 사용하였다. 이러한 제어기들은 이상적인 벡터제어 조건에서 광범위한 운전에 대하여 제한된 양호한 성능을 나타낸다. 본 논문은 다중 적응 제어기를 사용하여 유도전동기 드라이브의 고성능 제어를 제시한다. 이 제어기는 FAM(Fuzzy Adaptation Mechanism)에 의 해 속도제어, MFC(Model Reference Adaptive Fuzzy Control)에 의해 전류제어 그리고 ANN을 이용하여 속도추정을 수행한다. 제시한 제어 알고리즘은 FAD MFC및 ANN 제어기를 사용하여 유도전동기 드라이브 시스템에 적용한다. 제시한 제어기의 성능은 유도전동기의 파라미터를 사용하여 다양한 동작조건에서 해석으로 평가한다. 또한, 본 논문은 제어기의 효용성을 입증하기 위하여 해석결과를 제시한다.

  • The purpose for this paper is to obtain the ��$H_{\infty}$ LMI with fuzzy PI controller for induction motor which is nonlinear system. The controller type is PI and the control gains are obtained based on $H_{\infty}$ control problem. The PI controller is considered a part of a plant and the problem is changed to get controller with static gains. The nonlinear system is approximated as several linear systems and combined by using fuzzy technique.

  • This paper presents Hybrid PI(HBPI) controller of IPMSM drive using fuzzy adaptive mechanism control. In general, PI controller in computer numerically controlled machine process fixed gain. They may perform well under some operating conditions, but not all. To increase the robustness, fixed gain PI controller, HBPI controller proposes a new method based self tuning PI controller. HBPI controller is developed to minimize overshoot and settling time following sudden parameter changes such as speed, load torque, inertia, rotor resistance and self inductance. The results on a speed controller of IPMSM are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed gain tuner. And this controller is better than the fixed gains one in terms of robustness, even under great variations of operating conditions and load disturbance.

  • This paper describes the design and experimental verification of a hybrid fuzzy control system for a BLDC motor drive. The principle of the proposed control system is to use a PI controller which performs satisfactorily in most cases, while a fuzzy controller, which is ready to take over the PI controller. is used when severe perturbations occur. Thus. the PI and fuzzy controller can be managed to take advantage of their positive attributes.

  • A BLDC motor with higher number of phases has several advantages, compared to the conventional three-phase BLDC motors. It can reduce the commutation torque ripple and the iron loss without increasing the voltage per phase and increase the reliability and power density. Higher number of phases increase the torque-per-ampere ratio for the same machine volume and output power by widening the electrical conduction period. In this paper, the proposed seven-phase BLDC motor drive system is made into several functional modular blocks, so that it can be easily extended to other ac motor applications: back-EMF block, hysteresis current control block, pwm inverter block, phase current block, and speed/torque control block. Also in a system of BLDC motor drive, the PI controller has been widely used in the speed controller because of the simple implementation. To obtain a good speed response in a general drive system using the PI controller, the high bandwidth of a controller is established. therefore, in this paper, a Fuzzy controller is applied to the 7-phase BLDC motor drive system in order to improve the speed control performance. The Fuzzy controller is compared with a conventional PI controller through the experiment with respect to speed dynamic responses. These experimental results show that the Fuzzy controller of the 7-phase BLDC motor drive system is superior over the conventional PI controller. The algorithm using the Fuzzy controller can improve a comfortable ride in the field of high performance 7-phase BLDC motor drive applications.

  • A robust position control scheme for DC Motor is proposed based on Fuzzy Acceleration Control. Proposed control system has the similar structure that Y. Hori proposed. But the PI type acceleration controller of it is replaced by Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) which is known to be robust to the operating point and parameter variations. By the simulation study for a real DC Motor, we have slowed the superiority to the continuous PI acceleration controller in the view point of robustness to the operating point and parameter variations.

  • This paper is proposed a high Performance speed control of the synchronous reluctance motor through the SV-PWM(Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) of FAM-PI(Fuzzy Adaptive Mechanism-PI). SV-PWM is controlled using FAM-PI control. SV-PWM can be maximum used maximum do link voltage and is excellent control method due to characteristic to reducing harmonic more than others. Fuzzy control has a advantage which can be robustly controlled. FAM-PI controller is changed fixed gain of PI controller using fuzzy adaptive mechanism(FAM) to match operating condition. The results on a speed controller of IPMSM are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed gain tuner. And this controller is better than the fixed gains one in terms of robustness, even under great variations of operating conditions and load disturbance.
