AYM망에서 ABR 서비스의 공정 대역폭 할당을 위한 퍼지 전송률 제어 기법 (The fuzzy transmission rate control method for the fairness bandwidty allocation of ABR servce in ATM networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 ATM 네트워크에서의 접속된 ABR 서비스에 대해 공정한 대역폭을 할당하는 새로운 비율 기반 전송률 제어 알고려즘을 제안한다. 기존 ABR 서비스에서는 일정률로 전송률을 증가, 감소를 하면서 대역폭을 할당하나 제안된 알고리즘에서는 이용 가능한 대역폭을 퍼지 추론을 하여 접속된 호에 대해 전송률을 공평하게 분할하는 기법이다. 퍼지 추론은 입력 변수로 버퍼 상태, 버퍼 변화율을 사용하고 출력 변수로 전체 전송률을 사용한다. 이 추론된 결과값은 동작 중에 있는 ABR 서비스 호에 공평하게 분배되어 진다. 모의 실험 결과 기존의 E EPRCA 방식보다 제안된 방식이 링크 효율면에서 RIF, RDF가 1일 경우 0.17%, 1/4 경우 6%, 1/16 경우 38.6%, 1/32 경우 82.4%의 향상을 보였다.

  • 일반적으로 의사결정의 대상이 되는 현실 시스템은 매우 가변적 (variable)이며 때로는 많은 불확실성(uncertainty)이 포함된 상황에 놓일 수 있다. 이러한 문제의 처리를 위한 통계적 방법으로 유의수준이나 확신도, 민감도 분석 등이 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 근접관계 행렬에서 근접도를 구하는 방법으로 상대적 해밍거리와 max-min방법을 이용한 다음, 다중임계치를 사용하여 최적구간분할을 하는 방법을 제안한다. 결과적으로 max-min방법을 이용하여 다중임계치을 적용한 근접관계의 분류가 상대적 해밍거리로 근접도를 구하여 다중임계치를 구하는 방법보다 계산과정이 더 간단하고 명확하며 분할과정을 줄일 수 있고 최적의 의사결정에 효율적이라는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • This paper applies fuzzy self-tuning PID controller in DS/CDMA cellular system. Power control is essential in DS/CDMA to compensate for the differing received powers due to both the slowly varying long-term and fast varying short-term fading processes and co-channel interference. The controller proposed is adaptable for the variations of the system dynamics and especially for the variable time delay which exists in mobile radio systems. Accordingly the results is the smaller power control error, that is, the smaller average transmitting power of mobile compared with the conventional control schemes. Because interferences to the other mobiles are reduced, the capacity of CDMA can be increased.

  • The industrial structure comes to be complicated and for the production of the enterprise the rational and scientific forecast is necessary. The demand forecast has been widely used to linear regression, and up to now the linear regression was sharp the relationskp between then dependent variable and the independent variables. But, The real society demands accurate demand forecast from uncertain environment and subjective concept. This paper proposes the demand quantity forecast method to using of the fuzzy linear regression in uncertain and vague environment. Also, the optimum decision making of the demand quantity forecast uses integral calculus of the Sugeno to reflecting with the expert's (inventory manager) opinion.

  • Because of the convenience of variable speed control and proportion of input current and torque, DC servo motor has been used as an actuator. With increasing development speed of robot and factory automation machinery, the actuator of excellent control characteristics is demanded. In this paper, The control characteristics of DC servo motor is tested by Fuzzy control with microprocessor and DC servo motor controller is designed for drive of the cartesian coordinate type robot. The control characteristics experimentation is realized to one axis position, two axes coordinate and circular motion control by experimental equipments.

  • In variable structure control algorithms, The control law used to realized the desired sliding mode dynamics is discontinuous on the switching manifold. However, due to imperfections in switching, such as time delays, the system trajectory chatters instead of sliding along the switching manifold. This chattering is undesirable because it may excite unmodeled high frequency dynamics in the physical system. In this paper, to overcome this drawback a self-organizing fuzzy sliding mode control algorithm using gradient descent method is proposed. The proposed method has the characteristics which are viewed in conventional VSC, e.g. insensitivity to a class of disturbance, parameter variations and uncertainties ill the sliding mode. To demonstrate its performance, the proposed control algorithm is applied to an inverted pendulum system. The results show that both alleviation of chattering and performance are achieved.

추정된 절삭력 신호를 이용한 선삭력 제어

  • While a cutting tool is machining a workpiece at various cutting depth, the feedrate is usually selected based on the maximum depth of cut. Even if this selection can avoid power saturation or tool breakage, it is very conservative compared to the capacity of the machine tools and can reduce the productivity significantly. Many adaptive control techniques that can adjust the feedrate to maintain the constant cutting force have been reported. However, these controllers are not very widely used in manufacturing industry because of the limitations in measuring the cutting force signals. In this paper, turning force control systems based on the estimated cutting force signals are proposed. A synthesized cutting force monitor is introduced to estimate the cutting force as accurately as a dynamometer does. Three control strategies of PI, adaptive and fuzzy logic controllers are applied to investigate the feasibility of utilizing the estimated cutting force fur turning force control. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed systems can be easily realized in CNC lathe with requiring little additional hardware.

  • The basic requirements of distributed multimedia systems are intramedia synchronization which asks the strict delay and jitter for the check period of media buffer and the scaling duration with periodic continuous media such as audio and video media, and intermedia synchronization that needs the constraint for relative time relations among them when several media are presented in parallel. In this paper, a distributed intermedia synchronization algorithm that solves the intermedia synchronization problem by using variable service rates based on the fuzzy logic is designed and then the performance is evaluated through simulation.

  • A direct torque control(DTC) based sensorless speed control system which employs a new closed loop flux observer is proposed. The flux observer takes an adaptive scheduling gains where motet speed is used as the scheduling variable. Adaptive nature comes from the fact that the estimated values of stator resistance and speed are included as observer parameters. The parameters of the PI controllers adopted in the adaptive law for the estimation of stator resistance and motor speed are determined by simple genetic algorithm. Simulation results in low speed region are given for comparison between proposed and conventional flux estimate scheme.

  • In this paper, we study the idle speed control of the spark ignition engine. Engine idle speed control is a difficult problem because of troublesome characteristics such as severe process nonlinearities, variable time delays, time-varying dynamics and unobservable internal system states and disturbances. We investigate the intelligent control algorithms such as neural network controller and fuzzy controller for 4-cylinder 4-stroke engine.
