The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of combined use of several types of silicone polymers on the physical properties of the dental polyvinylsiloxane impression materials (PVS). Four types of silicone prepolymers having different molecular weight and vinyl group position, and two types of cross-linkers having differently located silyl hydride functional groups were used in various combinations for the formulation. The samples containing bimodal or trimodal prepolymers showed higher tensile strength, elongation at break, and elastic deformation than those containing only one type of prepolymer. The samples using CR210 cross-linker which has side- and terminal-silyl hydride groups showed higher elastic deformation and elongation at break than those using CR101 cross-liker which has side-only silyl hydride group. High vinyl content prepolymer having side vinyl group delayed setting even though it enhanced tensile strength. Further studies are needed to clarify the specific role of this component on setting time and to find appropriate controlling methods for making improved PVS with optimum workability.

Structured lipids(SLs) were synthesized by enzymatic interesterification with DHA-enriched fish oil(containing 27% docosahexaenoic acid) and soybean oil in the hatch-type reactor. The interesterification was performed for 24 hr at $55^{\circ}C$ and TLIM(immobilized lipase from Thermonyces lanuginosa, 10% by weight of total substrates) was mixed with 180 rpm of shaking. The fish oil and soybean oil were interesterifed with several weight ratio(fish oil : soybean oil, 2:8, 3:7, 4:6, 5:5, w:w), Reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography with an evaporative light-scattering detector separated the triglyceride species of SLs. The products contained the newly synthesized peaks. Especially, one of peaks was distinctively increased with the increasing weight ratio from 2:8 to 5:5 while the peak of trilinolein (LLL) decreased vice versa. The effect of antioxidants such as catechin, BHT(Butylated hydroxytoluene), and their combinations on the oxidative stability in SL were investigated. Oxidative stability was carried out under oven test at $60^{\circ}C$ over 72 hr thereafter SLs were analyzed for total fatty acid content, rancimat, peroxide value, electronic nose and TBARS value. Among all combinations of antioxidant, the highest stability was obtained from 200 ppm of catechin. Besides, total tocopherol ($\alpha$, $\gamma$, and $\delta$-tocopherol), iodine and saponification value were analyzed in which iodine and saponification value of SLs were 151.19 and 182.35.
The configuration of mandibular symphysis is likely to be dependent upon the genetic predeterminants and/or compensatory adjustments onto functional demands. The interrelation of morphological distinctives of symphysis in conjunction to the craniofacial skeleton had been scarcely anecdotal, therefore, the objective was to determine the correlation of morphological modifications between the mandibular symphysis and craniofacial complex. Lateral cephalometric headfilms of 212 subjects were employed for the conventional measurements. The proportion of chin height against chin depth length was referred as chin ratio, then, Low Symphysis (IS) and High Symphysis (HS) groups were turned out by means of the chin ratio. These samples yielded 35 in LS and 35 in HS groups. The data per capita were statistically analyzed and the following results were drawn ; 1. Overall characteristics of the craniofacial skeleton in HS group manifested hyperdivergence and LS group showed hypodivergence. 2. Gonial angle increased as chin ratio increased and was highly correlated to the chin ratio. 3. The chin ratio presented high correlation to the vertical face height, especially in terms of the chin height to anterior face height and the chin depth to posterior face height. 4. The morphological configuration of chin was hardly correlated with hyoid bone position.

A well-planned, precise occlusal adjustment of natural teeth has some distinct advantages over other forms of occlusal therapy. It should be emphasized, however, that an occlusal adjustment is an irreversible procedure and has definite contraindications in some mouths. Generally, the treatment methods for the patients that has open-bite will be following as below. : (1) Use of removable orthopedic repositioning appliance, (2) Orthodontics, (3) Full or partial reconstruction of the dentition, (4) Orthognathic surgical procedure, (5) Occlusal adjustment of the existing natural teeth, (6) Any combination of the above. Above all, the advantages of occlusal adjustment of natural teeth are : (1) the patient is more able to adapt to the changes in jaw position and posture; (2) the phonetic or speaking ability of the patient is not significantly changed and usually is improved; (3) the esthetics of the natural teeth is not altered and often is better; (4) the hygiene of the individual teeth is easily maintained; and (5) the functional usage of the teeth as cutting and chewing devices is markedly improved. The objective of an occlusal adjustment, as with any form of occlusal therapy, is to correct or remove the occlusal interferences, or premature contacts, on the occluding parts of the teeth which prevent a centric relation closure of the mandible. A systematic, disciplined approach can be followed in treatment, the objectives should be listed. They are : (1) Centric relation occlusion of the posterior teeth. (2) Proper "coupling" of the anterior teeth. (3) An acceptable disclusive angle of the anterior teeth in harmony with the condylar movement patterns. (4) Stability of the corrected occlusion. (5) Resolution of the related symptoms. For the patient with open-bite on anterior and posterior teeth, this case report shows the treatment methods in combination the fixed prosthesis with the selective cutting of the natural teeth. Occlusal adjustment is no longer an elective procedure but a mandatory one for patients requiring restorations and those in treatment for TMD dysfunctions or those whose dentitions show signs of occlusal trauma. Occlusal adjustment is essential for all who do not display the above lists.

In this study, we propose the design of optimized pRBFNNs-based face recognition system using two-dimensional Image and ASM algorithm. usually the existing 2 dimensional face recognition methods have the effects of the scale change of the image, position variation or the backgrounds of an image. In this paper, the face region information obtained from the detected face region is used for the compensation of these defects. In this paper, we use a CCD camera to obtain a picture frame directly. By using histogram equalization method, we can partially enhance the distorted image influenced by natural as well as artificial illumination. AdaBoost algorithm is used for the detection of face image between face and non-face image area. We can butt up personal profile by extracting the both face contour and shape using ASM(Active Shape Model) and then reduce dimension of image data using PCA. The proposed pRBFNNs consists of three functional modules such as the condition part, the conclusion part, and the inference part. In the condition part of fuzzy rules, input space is partitioned with Fuzzy C-Means clustering. In the conclusion part of rules, the connection weight of RBFNNs is represented as three kinds of polynomials such as constant, linear, and quadratic. The essential design parameters (including learning rate, momentum coefficient and fuzzification coefficient) of the networks are optimized by means of Differential Evolution. The proposed pRBFNNs are applied to real-time face image database and then demonstrated from viewpoint of the output performance and recognition rate.
The purpose of this study is to look for the basic formative elements of housekeeping space of our cultural life which are worthy to succeed and develop by revaluating in modern view and to reveal what we should maintain form the women's view of the housework in those days. In this study, out look on Chosun Dynasty housekeeping is based on the norm of the women in those days. The research on the housekeeping space for norm of the women in those days. the research on the housekeeping space for Chosun Dynasty upperclass is focused on the house built from early till late Chosun Dynasty, which is now a cultural asset. As a result, norm of Chosun Dynasty have created a social wide atmosphere for women to devote herselves to the housekeeping. Moreover the constructions of Chosun Dynasty's upperclass are affected by Korea's natural environment and socio-cultural environment. Primary factors for natural environment are building materials and the change of seasons. Because of changeable seasons, there were places for storing massive commodities. The other primary factors for socio-cultural environment affecting housekeeping space were social positions, and extended family system, worshipping the ancestors standard of living, the theory of“Poong Soo”(風水, a kind of geomancy) and thought of“Yin and Yang, Five Elements”(陰陽五行) and popular belief of that time. Affected by these two environments, the characteristics of housekeeping space for Chosun Dynasty are ; the main building of the house was used as a diverted area for women to work, and was reconstructed for household affairs. There were inefficient points in the housekeeping space of that time and the space remained stagnant because of the restricted sex and the social position of housekeeping doer. But you could find some points that are efficient and functional to adjust in those living conditions. The storehouse, storage barn, shed and soyjar terrace are the specialized storing place, according to the kinds and characteristics of the commodities. the kitchen, for example, is the combinations of many abilities. It is not only for cooking or heating the room, but also for storing drinking water. The hall which was the storing place, housekeeping place and also the place for family events are used as a diverted place. The linked arrangement of kitchen, store house, boudoir and the other rooms. In addition, we can see that the construction of the kitchen for more than tow people could work in.

The benefits of implant supported overdenture are readily apparent for the fully edentulous patients and have been well documented, however, there is deficiency of the studies regarding the combination of implants with removable partial dentures for partially edentulous patients. The purpose of this article is to review the literature concerning implants with removable partial dentures and evaluate the evidence for this clinical approach. Through many clinical case reports and studies we have searched from a broad variety of journals, we present the six considerations needed to contemplate respecting implants with removable partial denture in partially edentulous patients. First, the connection between abutment tooth and removable partial denture has to be rigid and the link between implant and removable partial denture should be hinged. Second, a mesial rest acts better in the point of force distribution for distal extension removable partial denture and splinting between implants is also a favorable choice. Third, T bar has an advantage for implants which are used as abutments in distal extension removable partial denture. Forth, as we all known functional impression is better way to reproduce movement for distal extension removable partial denture. Fifth, indirect retainer and guiding plane on the proximal surfaces of terminal abutment teeth are important in preventing denture base lifting. Sixth, implants in conjunction with removable partial denture is superior in the esthetic and phonetic as well as cost-effective point of view. We also suggest that which place we should install implants for force distribution and which diameter and length of implants should be used. in this review article, we recommend to locate the implant near of the abutment tooth for esthetics or near of first molar position for good stress distribution. The diameter and length of implant also influence to stress distribution. When we compare to conservative partial denture, patients go for removable partial denture using implants due to convenience, better support and retention according to several studies. But it is true that we need to study more on this subject and collect long term follow up cases before we discuss on it. So it is enough to bring this subject into the surface of prosthetic treatment by this article.

Each country has recently established and operated so called Aids to Navigation(AtoN) AIS system collecting and transferring information on the sea state and AtoN's position. Korea has also decided to introduce the system and been establishing it. And it has already installed and operated this system in Incheon and Daesan. For the purpose of giving the national standards of AtoN AIS, this paper is to investigate the present states of AtoN AIS systems in the above two area and to suggest the improvement to the operation of AtoN AIS system. To make it, the paper deals with the international regulations of related AtoN AIS and the cases of foreign's AtoN AIS system installed and also investigates the operation states of the system, in five modules such as system management, system composition, information, function and cooperation. The followings are concluded; improving the inconsistency of system management, reducing operator's confusion caused by excessive display of AtoN AIS system, improving the problem of receiving unnecessary information, improving the functional problems caused by AIS communication inability and improving AtoN AIS information which is presently not used on board.
The interior space in a passenger car is consisted with many partial elements, and the instrument panel is the most important part from all of them, which is designate the total image of the interior design and the space variation, drivability and safety of the interior space. ] The instrument panel of a passenger car in the early age had the concept of a wall between the engine room and the passenger cabin on which the instrument for the driver were fitted. Therefore the central mounting of the instruments was the typical feature regardless of the position of a driver seat. As the automobiles became more functional with many equipments, driver oriented instrument panel with energy absorbing materials had been developed, and that was the beginning of the various instrument panel design of these days. The recent instrument panels of passenger car have the tendency of going back to the central instrument mounting as it was at the past on a few cars for the strict safety regulation, a new production technology and for the enhanced drivability. It can be summarized into a few results as these with the analysis of a few recent instrument panels. -minimizing the total volume for the better frontal visibility. -energy absorbing and passive structures for the strict impact regulations. -revival of central instrument mounting for the convenience and safety through minimizing the difference of the focal length of a driver.
For the examination of nuclear medicine, myocardial scan is a good method to evaluate a hemodynamic importance of coronary heart disease. but, the automatized qualitative measurement is additionally necessary to improve the decoding efficiency. we suggests the creation of cardiac three-dimensional model and model of three-dimensional cardiac thickness as a new measurement. For the experiment, cardiac reduced cross section was obtained from SPECT. Next, the pre-process was performed and image segmentation was fulfilled by level set. for the modeling of left cardiac thickness, it was realized by applying difference equation of two-dimensional laplace equation. As the result of experiment, it was successful to measure internal wall and external wall and three-dimensional modeling was realized by coordinate. and, with laplace formula, it was successful to develop the thickness of cardiac wall. through the three-dimensional model, defects were observed easily and position of lesion was grasped rapidly by the revolution of model. The model which was developed as the support index of decoding will provide decoding information to doctor additionally and reduce the rate of false diagnosis as well as play a great role for diagnosing IHD early.
