The purpose of this study was to identify factor structure of consumption value, clothing attitudes and the effects of consumption value on clothing attitudes. Questionnaires were administered to 513 college students living in Deagu and Kyungbook province. Data were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, multiple regression, t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe-test. The findings are as follows. Consumption values were composed of five factors such as social value, differentiated individuality, material value, functional value, and circumstances value. Clothing attitudes were composed of five factors such as pursuit of individuality, fashion interests, utility pursuit, appearance conspicuousness, and social approval. The effects of consumption value on each of clothing attitude variables, pursuit of individuality, fashion interests, appearance conspicuousness, and social approval were explained by the factors such as social value, differentiated individuality, and functional value, utility pursuit by social value, functional value, and circumstances value.

In according to the rapid economic growth and strengthening of economic cooperation of Asian-Pacific countries, Pusan is capable of developing to the international trade center of Pan-Pacific Area. Therefore a lot of functional preparations are required for the international trade center. First the expansion and functional specialization of harbor which is a gateway of international physical distribution is required. Second, raising physical distribution inducement effect through establishment of free trade zone and producing financial and information service accompanied with trade activity through establishment of international financial center and teleport are necessary. And the research complex of high technology (sciencepark) which utilizes the industrial base of Pusan area is necessary for the development of Pusan toward the international trade city. And the establishment of marine sightseeing complex in Pusan utilizing the ocean natural resource is helpful for the growth of Pusan to the international trade center.

Do international economic factors affect the result of gubernatorial elections? This research aims to explain the reasons that local elections are not influenced by international economic factors such as US-China trade dispute. Although previous studies show the mixed results about the relationship between economic factors and gubernatorial electoral outcome, this research argues at least three explanations can be identified. First, there is a perceived gap between the candidates and local voters on the effect of trade disputes. Local voters do not consider the trade dispute as immediate threats, and candidates only use the trade dispute for attacking rivals. Where the functional responsibilities are unclear among elected officials between federal and local government, voters tend to cast votes based on their party identification. In the case of trade policy, functional responsibility is murky between the president and governor; voters may not judge the governor incumbent or candidates on state economic condition.

In order to overcome the urban heat island effect, highly functional paint is attracting attention as a promising means by shielding heat on the structure (building) surface. When a paint was prepared containing nano-sized silica particles, the heat-insulating performance was relatively higher than that of paints with other sizes. In addition, developed paints showed enhanced properties such as chemical resistance and abrasion resistance test because of the presence of nano-sized silica included in functional paint.

This study focuses on the preparation of acetaminophen (AP) imprinted functional biomaterials for a transdermal drug delivery using mung bean starch (MBS), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), sodium benzoate (S) as a crosslinking agent, glycerol (GL) as a plasticizer, and melanin (MEL) as a photothermal agent. The prepared AP imprinted biomaterials were characterized using FE-SEM and their physical properties were evaluated. The photothermal effect and AP release property for functional biomaterials were examined with the irradiation of near infrared (NIR) laser (1.5 W/cm²). When the NIR laser was irradiated on functional biomaterials with/without the addition of MEL, the temperature of MEL added biomaterial increased from 25 ℃ to 41 ℃, whereas the biomaterial without MEL increased from 25 ℃ to 28 ℃. Results indicate that there is the photothermal effect of prepared biomaterial with the addition of MEL. Based on the results, AP release properties were evaluated using standard buffer solutions and artificial skin. It was found that AP release rates of MEL added AP loaded biomaterials were 1.2 times faster than those of MEL non-added AP loaded biomaterials when irradiating with NIR laser. We envision that the developed functional biomaterials can be utilized for an acute pain-killing treatment.

This study is aimed to investigate the effects of perceived value of the users in the relationship between service qualities of the Pilates training centers, which has been recently increasing, and their reuse intention. A survey research was conducted with 487 users who used the Pilates training centers and collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. The analysis results are as follows. First, service qualities perceived by the Pilates users including external service, quality of trainers, training program, and tuition fee showed significant impact on reuse intention, positively. Second, service qualities perceived by the Pilates users including external service, quality of trainers, training program, and tuition fee showed significant impact on both functional and emotional values, positively. Third, functional and emotional values perceived by the Pilates users showed significant impact on reuse intention, positively. Fourth, significant mediating effect of functional value was found in the relationship between service qualities of the Pilates training centers, which were external service, quality of trainers, training program, and tuition fee, and reuse intention. Fifth, significant mediating effect of emotional value was found in the relationship between service qualities of the Pilates training centers including training program and tuition fee, and reuse intention.

In this study, a functional study was conducted to confirm the inhibitory effect of IL-6 and TFN-α, which are allergic inflammation inhibitory effects, using natural extracts 640 types of substances. Of the 640 types, 36 substances showed 100% cell viability, and among the extracts showing the IL-6 inhibitory effect, 8 substances showed an inhibitory effect similar to that of cyclosporin A, and 5 substances showed an inhibitory effect on TFN-α. In particular, two types of extracts showing a common inhibitory effect on IL-6 and TFN-α showed an anti-allergic anti-inflammatory effect and a strong anti-allergic anti-inflammatory effect in Hagocho and Snow lotus extract. It is thought that these contents can be used as a functional natural cosmetic material for allergy-inflammation suppression using natural extracts.
