The purposes of this study were to promote the consumer's recognition on the internet purchase of fashion products and to provide useful information which would help web-site plan design, product composition, and service of internet shopping mall. The subjects were consisted of 693 students who had experiences of the accesses to internet fashion shopping mills or experiences of purchasing through internet in Cheongju and Daejeon region. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, and LSD. The Results were as follows: 1. Merit factors of the internet shopping were found to be shopping convenience and pursuit of product information. Whereas, demerit factors of the internet shopping to be complexity of order, delivery, functional and economic riskiness, and services. 2. Gender was the only factor differentiating the level of recognition toward the internet fashion shopping mall. And the level of recognition also showed significant differences according to period, time, purpose of access, type of shopping mall, purchase experience, and average purchase price.

Objective: Final goal of nerve advancement therapy is to provide maximum ability to function independently in life to patients. This paper appraises and describes basic concepts of the virtual reality (VR) based exercise program to improve functional movement for neurologically impaired patients. Design: Review article. Methods: Stroke patients from the physical therapy department while wearing comfortable clothing receive therapy and also VR based motion therapy administered by the therapist in charge. After evaluation of stroke patients, therapy includes an exercise program that is suitable for use with stroke patients; stroke patients wear head-mounted display while in front of the computer, where the camera is located; they follow the action on the screen and the computer perceives the operation of the stroke patients according to subject accomplishment. Results: According to obstacle condition of stroke patients using the method, which is various environments after setting, in stroke patients, there is a possibility of presenting suitable therapeutic environments. The display presentation of the method, which is identical, causes difficulty for all stroke patients. According to subject accomplishment; stroke patients result in execution of repetition training and deepening study, which leads to mobility. Conclusions: The VR based rehabilitation training programs is a difference of the existing video training program, is immediate feedback and compensation method. It will provide rehabilitation training services for the family of the patient whose condition could be improved with rehabilitative therapy where it is a continuous circumstance as a matter of the social welfare facility therapy.

At the outset, surrealism starts from pure art, but surrealism has greatly influenced commercial art and fashion circles, more so than any other genre of art. The critical thinking methods of surrealism and its mode of expression continues to influence fashion theory extensively. Even now, surrealism may be found in the designs presented in fashion circles and is still expected for future lines. Surrealism in modern fashion has been reborn, newly integrated and transformed, based on the features of Surrealism paintings. The characteristics of its forms can be found in a combination of modern material, modern design and new skills and the classical items : bodyform molding context of architecture, experimental and sex-appealing of body. Expression was made by borrowing natural motives and recreating natural fabrics while the existing typical idea about clothes was destructed, with the boundary of patterns changed. Expression was also made by mixing items, uniting future images, and using up-to-date functional techniques. This study is significant that up-to-date technological culture expands cyber-space and increases surrealistic expressions by combined heterogeneous materials, thus arousing much interest. The purpose of this study is to determine interrelationship between how surrealism developed and what formative properties those clothes affected by surrealism obtained in the 1990s.

The aim of this research is to investigate the demographic characteristics of the purchase tendencies and shopping trends amongst female golfers and how these are influenced by their life style and to analyse their selection criteria for purchases of golf-related items. The research methodology was through the use of questionnaires, completed by female golfers in Gyeongnam. The results are as follows: life style trends of male golfers were analysed to be categorized into one of the following: the shopping-addicted, fashion-conscious, rationalist and family oriented spenders. The characteristics of these categories are described as one of the following: utilitarian-complacent, rationalist, self-worshipping, inconsiderate. The demographic characteristics showed notable variations only in age differences. The obtained results show that the influences of the variables are minimal and there was no notable correlation. Significant differences were observed from one life style group to another, in selection criteria for purchase, which mainly depended on style, design, colour, pattern, designer-label, co-ordinated looks, similarity, ease of maintenance and functionality. Comparisons were made between the previously categorized life-style-groups and notable differences were present in such characteristics as ostentatious, trendy, aesthetically pleasing and functional.

This study aims to pursue the multi-functional textile finishing method to detoxify chemical warfare agent by simply treating the well-known antimicrobial agent, chitosan, to cotton fabric. For this purpose, DFP(diisopropylfluorophosphate) was sele cted as a chemical warfare agent simulant and cotton fabric was treated with 0.5, 1.0, and 2wt% chitosan solution in 1wt% acetic acid. DFP decontamination properties of the chitosan treated cotton fabrics were evaluated and compared with the untreated cotton fabric. The chitosan treated cotton fabrics showed better DFP decontamination than the untreated cotton. Decontamination properties of the chitosan treated cotton fabrics improved with the increased chitosan solution used. Especially, the cotton fabrics treated with 2wt% chitosan solution showed 5 times more DFP decontamina tion than the untreated cotton fabrics. This suggested that the chitosan treated fabric has potential to be used as a material for protective clothing with chemical warfare agent detoxifying and antimicrobial properties.

The purpose of this study was to design functional clothing based on the physical characteristics of old women. The subjects of this experiment were 5 healthy old women and 5 college women. While the subjects were exposed to the circumstances of $28{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$ and local heating at 7 areas (chest, abdomen, back, loin, hand, thigh and instep), their skin temperature, physiological reaction and psychological reaction were determined. The conclusions about the effects of local heating are as follows : 1. Skin temperature before heating was in the order of head-neck> trunk> upper limbs> lower limbs (Group A: old subjects) and head-neck> trunk> lower limbs> upper limbs (Group B: young subjects). 2. The heating pad was attached and detached for 30 minutes each. The sharpest rise and fall were recorded at 5 minutes with the pad on and off. Both groups had great changes in the body parts near trunk. 3. With the pad on and off, both groups showed no change in body temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. 4. Concerning the pervasive effects of local heating on whole body skin temperature, loin heating greatly increased other body parts in Group A. In Group B, the effects were large in heating chest, abdomen, back, loin, and thigh. 5. The loin part of old women has the greatest pervasive effect of local body heating.

In this study, the dyeing properties and functionalities of Crataegi fructus extract were investigated for the purpose of application to new natural dye resources. The effects of dyeing conditions(concentration of dye, dye bath temperature, dyeing duration and dye bath pH) and mordanting on dye uptake and color changes were also examined. The study also estimated the colorfastness, antibacterial properties, and ultraviolet protection properties of the dyed and mordanted silk fabrics. The dye uptake increased in tandem with the dye concentration and dye bath temperature. The highest K/S values were obtained at the following conditions: a dye concentration of 100%(v/v), a dyeing period of 60 minutes, a dye bath temperature of $90^{\circ}C$, and a dyeing pH of 3. The colorfastness of the material when dry cleaned or rubbed ranged from good to excellent and fastness to light was rated at grade 2-3. The change in the color grade when exposed to washing was not good; however, the stain of washing fastness was good at a range of 4-5. In regards to the functional property aspects, the dyed and mordanted fabrics exhibited excellent results with a 99.9% reduction rate, and excellent ultraviolet protection factors.

In this study, octadecyldimethyl(3-triethoxy silylpropyl)ammonium chloride (ODDMAC) incorporated with Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fabrics with different environmental conditions such as various temperature and time intervals. First, ODDMAC (15 weight %) was dissolved in ethanol. Then PET fabrics immersed in the ODDMAC solution at 25 ℃ for 10 minutes and dried at 80 ℃ for 5 minutes. The dried PET/PDDMAC fabrics carried out for curing process out at 110 ℃ ~ 190 ℃. The treated PET/ODDMAC has examined the surface and side coating properties through SEM analysis and elemental analysis. PET/ODDMAC fabric washed with water up to 50 times and studied the durability of the materials. It was confirmed that the treated PET fabric also exhibited good water repellency. In addition, the antimicrobial activity against the gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli were studied by the disc diffusion method on the treated fabric.

The purpose of this study, the wearing conditions of functional pressure clothing applied with the thermotherapy device were determined by three types (NW, CW, TCW) and the difference in isokinetic strength, muscle activity around the forearm was investigated and the effects of products mixed with thermotherapy and pressure treatment were verified. Ten men in their 20s were selected as subjects, and all subjects were randomly assigned three wearing conditions, and wrist flexion/extension exercise was performed at 30° and 90° angular velocity in isokinetic equipment. Peak torque, average power, and EMG were measured during exercise in all conditions. For peak torque, CW was significantly highest at velocity of 30°/sec flexion. Average power showed no significant difference by condition. In the angular velocity of 90°/sec, flexion was significantly higher in CW and TCW than in NW. As a result, wearing clothes with pressure effect and heat effect can show high efficiency in high muscle strength development and fast contraction activity during low speed exercise, and it is thought that it can show improvement of exercise ability through efficient recruitment of motor unit.

This study examine closely conditions of costume between the Modernized period and Liberation with newspaper materials. Because newspaper generally appear society conditions in those days on rapid and across-the boad basis. The Modernized period is extremely change among history of costum (ordinance prohibiting top knots, allowance of foreign clothes putting on). Because this change have been spontaneously not by internal desired but Western input by the strong nation of imperialism to enclose Chosun, they was accepted by the general public later under the rule of Japaneses Imperialism. Consequently, study of costume play an important part periods between the Japanese annexation of Korea and Liberation. This study apply to newspaper characteric for costume, and closely examine an important costum condition of those days next time, and present costume material in those days that composed the account catalog appeared periods between the first publication(1920) of the Dong A II Bo, and in the year 1945, it is as follows. 1. Foreign clothes of men generally accept the general public on look at from form change, in the 1920's had come short Jackets and narrow throusers into fashion, in the 1930's had come trousers of generous waist band with broads shoulder and long Jackets. Catalog of Major clothes is as follows; Spring coat, Jacket, Vest, Shirt, etc. While pants had come trousers into fashion 2. Functional characteric of Foreign clothes was the possible acceptance of women's foreign clothes. Account of foreign clothes managemental ways appear in the 1920's, while those facts prove the point that appeared the account that always dealed with concrete content of foreign fashion in the 1930's.
