The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of advertising of health functional food. We utilize 1,716 cases which underwent a screening before advertising from January to December in 2008. The results show the following findings. There were statistically differences between printing and broadcasting. Vitamin 613 cases have received the most review in the functional food types. There were statistically differences between manufacturers and distribution companies. March was the most screening in months. The results show the following findings. There were statistically differences between domestics and import products. In this study, Manufacturers are better than distribution companies for undergoing a screening of the health functional food advertisement.

Objective: This study is to develop a design and evaluation guide to the ergonomic design of the farm working convenient equipments in order for the elderly to use them easily and safely. Background: The aging population has already increased in farm villages. But due to the usage of the farm working equipments that did not reflect the characteristics and functional changes of aging, accidents and patients with disease are increasing. Method: The study investigated the functional changes and physical, cognitive, and sensuous characteristics of the aged. By determining the criteria for classification of the convenient equipments by crop, and by finding out the items necessary for the ergonomic design, a guide to this study is proposed. Results: It is obvious that the physical, cognitive and sensuous functions change as the aging process continues. Therefore, for the design and evaluation of Control Panel, Control Lever, Frame Size, Shape, and Equipment Weight that are the necessary items for the ergonomic approach for the farm working equipments, such characteristics have to be reflected. Conclusion: Through this study, a guide to the design and evaluation of convenient equipments for the farm works that reflected the aging characteristics and functional changes has been proposed. Application: The result of this study is to expect not only designers but also related specialists to make the best use of it.

This study focuses on the medieval Mongol costume called YosunOja. This dress consists of a blouse and a skirt, and some lines on the waist part. The purpose of the study is to analyse the structural characteristics of this costume, especially on the medieval remains from the tomb Mingshui in the district of Neimenggu. It can be analysed that this costume has three structural characteristics, which are the functional structure, sumptuous one, and the idea of Buddhism. The functional structure consists of the style with a blouse and a skirt, which gives enough surplus for the movement, the back-slash for the ease of the riding, and the dart in the front line which eliminates unnecessary surplus. The sumptuous structure is the many lines of the waist which show the maximization of the decoration, the extraordinary long sleeves, and the use of the expensive gold brocade which shows the wealth of the dresser. And also, the cutting of the fabric into the numerous segment may mean the medieval Mongols believed in Buddhism.

Demand for organic agriculture has greatly increased in the past decade. The objective of this study was to evaluate quality the characteristics and antioxidant activities of organically and conventionally grown carrots. Organically and conventionally grown carrots were harvested in Jeju Island, Korea. Carrot extracts were investigated for their antioxidative components (total phenolic and flavonoid contents) and their antioxidant activities (DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities). The quality characteristics of carrots were estimated in terms of hardness, length, weight, moisture contents, and soluble solid content (SSC). Conventionally grown carrots showed higher values than organic carrot in terms of hardness (p<0.05), but there was no significant difference in moisture contents or SSC. In the case of antioxidant activity, organic carrots showed a higher value for DPPH radical scavenging activity (p<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in other antioxidants. Consequently, quality characteristics and antioxidant activities were different between organically and conventionally grown carrots.

This study verified the mediating effect of perceived value and the influence of kiosk device characteristics on relationship continuity intention to solve the difficult problems of hotel companies due to the development of current technology and hotel recruitment problems. Two hundred thirty-nine consumers who used kiosk devices in hotels were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and Smart PLS 4.0. As a result of analysis and verification, it was found that the kiosk characteristics (playfulness, convenience, reliability, usefulness) had a significant effect on all perceived values (emotional value, functional value), and the perceived value also had a significant effect on the relationship continuity intention. Appeared as a result of the influence. However, it was found that the mediating effect of functional value in the relationship between convenience and usefulness among kiosk characteristics was dismissed. These results support the previous studies on hotel kiosks and have academic implications, as well as practical implications for practitioners of hotel companies.

This study aims to develop workwear prototypes by applying a systematic approach considering the characteristics of workwear. A case study was conducted before this study to derive workwear's four characteristics: 'Ergonomic Pattern-Making, Certified Fabric, Specialized Color, and Customized Details.' a prior study proposed the integrated framework combining these characteristics with the FEA model. The new framework identified that these characteristics are considered in terms of functionality, expression, and aesthetics; it can increase workers' satisfaction and meet the market demand without concentrating on only particular aspects. Before prototype production, the requirements for each characteristic of workwear were analyzed through theoretical research of previously published related papers. The study primarily gathered workwear requirements data and sources from consumer satisfaction surveys and investigations into the wearing conditions of work clothes. When considering all aspects of pattern-making, fabric, color, and detail in functionality, 'comfort movement, body protection, improved work efficiency' were identified as necessary. Expressive requirements were fundamental, including 'reflecting the wearer's preferences, expressing a sense of belonging and identity. It was clear that incorporating design elements and applying current trends to the aesthetic requirements of work clothes was necessary. Four prototypes comprised two top and bottom sets and two overalls using these requirements. The framework was used throughout the entire process of planning, producing, and evaluating prototypes, and through this, the results fulfilled the requirements. This study is significant because it produced workwear prototypes using an integrated approach that considered functional, expressive, and aesthetic aspects.

Environment-friendly materials are increasingly used as building construction materials nowadays, and the market share of those is growing. Accordingly, the research and developments in terms of environmental value are progressing steadily now. The main characteristics of environmental products are far-infrared radiation, negative-ion emission, electromagnetic wave shielding, and antimicrobial property. These products are often used in mortar and as spray on the finishing material. Nevertheless, there are hardly any research on the functional properties of concrete, the main material in construction field. Thus, we evaluated such basic properties of concrete as slump, compressive strength and air content while using such functional materials as sericite, wood-pattern sandstone, carbon black and nano-metric silver solution to focus on their functional properties like far-infrared radiation, negative ion emission, electro magnetic wave shielding, and antimicrobial activity in this research. The results indicated that the most useful material in the functional materials was carbon black. Sericite and nano-metric silver solution had a little effect on the functional property. Moreover, although wood-pattern sandstone had very high functional property, it exhibited too low compressive strength to be applied, to concrete as a factory product. Antimicrobial property of nano-metric silver solution in the concrete was not clear demonstrated, but if these specimens were to be aged in $CO_2$ gas for a long time, it might be apparent.

본 연구는 신체적 특성과 기능적 움직임 검사(FMS)의 융합적 상관관계에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 연구대상자는 정상 성인으로 193명을 대상으로 단일측정하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 26.0 Ver 프로그램으로 T-검증을 실시하였고, 각 변수들 간 피어슨 상관계수로 분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 검사 방법 중 능동 뻗은 다리 올림 검사와 몸통 안정성 푸쉬업 검사 영역에서 성별 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다(P<.05). 어깨 가동성 검사와 능동 뻗은 다리 올림 검사 영역을 제외한 나머지 FMS의 검사에서 체지방률과 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 능동 뻗은 다리 올림에서 여성이 기능적 움직임의 질이 높았으며, 몸통 안정성 푸쉬업에서는 남성이 기능적 움직임의 질이 높았다. 그러므로 남성은 하지의 유연성을 보강해야하며, 여성은 상체 근력과 몸통의 안정성 운동을 적용해야 한다고 판단된다.

Graphene is a good candidate for the future nano-electronic materials because it has excellent conductivity, mobility, transparency, flexibility and others. Until now, most graphene researches are focused on the nano electronic device applications, however, biological application of graphene has been relatively less reported. We have fabricated a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) conjugated graphene field-effect transistor (FET) and measured the electrical transport characteristics. We have used graphene sheets grown on Ni substrates by chemical vapour deposition. The Raman spectra of graphene sheets indicate high quality and only a few number of layers. The synthesized graphene is transferred on top of the substrate with pre-patterned electrodes by the floating-and-scooping method [1]. Then we applied adhesive tapes on the surface of the graphene to define graphene flakes of a few micron sizes near the electrodes. The current-voltage characteristic of the graphene layer before stripping shows linear zero gate bias conductance and no gate operation. After stripping, the zero gate bias conductance of the device is reduced and clear gate operation is observed. The change of FET characteristics before and after stripping is due to the formation of a micron size graphene flake. After combined with 30 base pairs single-stranded poly(dT) DNA molecules, the conductance and gate operation of the graphene flake FETs become slightly smaller than that of the pristine ones. It is considered that DNA is to be stably binding to the graphene layer due to the ${\pi}-{\pi}$ stacking interaction between nucleic bases and the surface of graphene. And this binding can modulate the electrical transport properties of graphene FETs. We also calculate the field-effect mobility of pristine and DNA conjugated graphene FET devices.

The aim of this paper, investigated of weighted space which contained the unbounded functions which is to be approximated by linear operators in terms some Well-known approximation tools such as the modulus of smoothness and K-functional. The characteristics of the identical theorem between modulus of smoothness and K-functional are consider. In addition to the establish the direct, converse and identical theorem by using some linear operators in terms modulus Ditzian-Totik.
