This thesis aims to investigate the characteristics of the civil costume in Netherlands women and the way how the civil culture was reflected on these by analyzing the women's costume depicted in the works of the Johannes Vermeer regarded as the representative painter of Netherlands in 17th century. The method of study was to select 24 pieces of Vermeer's works among the 30 pieces, and were analyzed in detail. These were approved to be common civil costumes by researching the works of other painters in that era on the other hand. The result shows that the civil costume of Netherlands women from 1653 until 1675 was in the simple form of two pieces dress, and minimal decorations with simple hair style and headdress would take the constitution of the frugality, chastity and practicality as the mainstream, along with using the red, yellow and blue as the primary three colors on to the costumes. These characteristics might be ascribed to the Netherlands civil culture influenced by the Calvinism that emphasized the frugality and chastity, denouncing the luxury with supporting the religion and morality. This trend was also noted in the men's costume, giving evidence of the intimate relationship between the costume, religion and civil culture. This thesis might be a help to elucidate the relationship between the costume and cultural society, and be a affordable tools to study the contemporary costume.

This study analyzes consumer education for consumption values in the elementary school textbooks to provide information useful in revising the curriculum in the future. The textbooks for the 4th, the 5th, and 6th curricula, which are 334 volumes in total, are analyzed by the context-analysis method. Context unit is used as the analysis unit and the number of pages is used as the system of enumeration. According to the analysis, the areas taught most frequently in current curriculum are \"frugality and reuse\" and \"the planned consumption\", while the areas taught least are \"impulsive and conformity consumption\" and \"the concept of consumer and the consumers role\". It was also found that current programs are not well organized in terms of continuity, sequence, and integration.

The purposes of this study were to classify adolescents by their lifestyles and to investigate the differences in clothing purchase behavior among lifestyle groups. The data were obtained from questionnaire completed 341 adolescents in Daegu area. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which included frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test. Lifestyles of adolescents were categorized into five factors such as clothing hedonic shopping orientation, positive activity, material orientation, frugality, digital orientation. Three clusters (achievement orientation group, ordinary group, economic orientation group) were developed by five factors of lifestyles. While the achievement orientation group had the highest purchase motives and used the most information sources, the economic orientation group had the lowest purchasing motives and used the least information sources. There were significant differences in clothing purchase frequency and average clothing expenditure among three clusters.

An electric vehicle uses the system to a power source whether it limps a high efficiency, without environmental pollution It coincides the best at the 21th century environmental regulation and energy frugality. The motor control system using DC-DC converter is carried out in this study. The Present control system is structured the better condition than that of the AC-DC converter with DC-AC inverter. Further, a vehicle dynamics analysis is peformed for the case of Mini-Baja it is found that the analysis dynamic system for the Mini-Baja gives a good design parameters.

In order to analyze voltage, current, electrical power, harmonics and so on of electrical load equipments, electrical power analysis by real measurement rather than mathematical modeling is necessary, and plan of countermeasure for efficient management, energy frugality and accident prevention of electrical equipments using it is possible. Especially, electrical power analysis by real measurement is indispensable in order to consider countermove of harmonic occurred by nonlinear load. So, in this paper, we developed DSP(Digital Signal Processor) based low price date aquisition system, and verified it's ability by performing measurement and analysis of electrical power and harmonic in the real power system.

The purpose of this study was to accept its contents as lessons for today and to search for the correct way to lead home economy of the future by way of retranslating home economic view in literatures and documents of Cho-sun Dynasty(1392-1910) Through studying Cho-sun's literatures and documents: 「Ne-hun」 by the queen So He 「Kyou-dyoung-yo-ram」by Lee Whang 「Kyung-mong-yo-kul」by Lee Yul 「Song-ho-sa-sul」by Lee IK 「Sa-so-jol」by Lee Duk Moo「Buk-hak-ee」 by Park Je Ka 「Mok-min-sim-su」 by Jung Yak Yong. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. The view of income: 1) Cut down on the too much greed of property (property income) 2) Work hard with diligence(earned income). 2. The view of expense : 1) Get food clothing and housing with frugality 2) Spend money for home rites and reception of guests with manner and truth without extravagnace. 3. The view of buying and selling: Buy and sell with credit. 4. The view of borrowing and lending: Borrow and lend money honestly,. 5. The view of home book-keeping : Keep home book-keeping every day. 6. The view of economic preparation : Save for a rainy day wisely.

Certosa, a representative Monastic Architecture of Renaissance era, has been well preserved. And it has worked as a symbol of the space form & style revealed by monad, sell, arcade and court, which are characteristic of a monastery. A court is divided into large court and small one, and it connects each units and each sells through the annex with clarifying each space identities. And arcade and pillar is not only to derive a unitary space from entire space, but also to try openness and extension applying a different height in spite of physical closure of style. Especially planned by monad and cell, the routine space of monks, a structure of rational space is a yardstick of moderation and frugality, showing affluent space which occupy essential areas without extra space. And the space appears self-sufficiency, honest poverty, and affluence with order and eternity based on elementary principles of the Cartusio order in composition and plan of the space. Keeping strong linking with entire sells in the monastery, Each sell symbolizes entire sells, and the inverse is the same. And it is the universe advocating eternity and it is also a small city which provides the monks with accurate modules and scales in the very recluse space.

전기부하설비의 전압, 전류, 전력, 고조파 등의 분석을 위해서는 수학적 모델링 보다는 실제 계측을 통한 전력분석이 필요하고 이를 통해 전기설비의 효율적인 관리, 에너지 절약 및 사고 예방에 필요한 대책을 수립할 수 있다. 특히 비선형 부하에 의해 발생되는 고조파의 대책수립을 위해 계측을 통한 전력분석이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전기부하설비에 공급되는 전력을 측정하고 분석할 수 있는 저가형 데이터 획득 시스템을 DSP 기반으로 개발하였고 이를 실제 전력계통에 설치하여 전력 및 고조파의 측정과 분석을 수행함으로써 그 성능을 입증하였다.

The development of information communication technology leads the growth of logistic industry including delivery service as well as electronic commerce. The researchers predict that it will be still improving for the next several years. The logistic information system of railroad courier has been growing for a long time with small-package delivery transportation which is similar to the land-road delivery system. Despite of the long-time growth, it is recently in pain of the great loss since the 1990's, due to the failure to satisfy the customer's need for door-to-door delivery service. But the logistic information system of railroad still has the great potential. There are so many benefits such as timeliness, Punctuality, speed, multi-node storage base, transportation efficiency, energy frugality, environmental sociability, and so on. If the railroad logistic system plays a role of a portion of the nation-wide logistic with other logistic system, the synergy through the balancing logistic will also get much of international competitive advantages. So the objective of this research is to design the model and prototype of the web-based logistic system from which railroad service provider(Korean National Railroad), delivery service providers, and the customers can share the best effective delivery information.

The purposes of this study were to identify clothing attitudes and purchasing motives according to consumption orientation of Chinese middle aged women. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Factors of shopping orientation were rich & fashion, economy & profit, traditional virtue & leisure utilizing, and frugality & pragmatism. Chinese middle aged women were classified into practicality pursuit group, material & fashion pursuit group, conservative leisure utilizing group, and negative stagnating group. 2. Factors of clothing attitudes were fashion, self-confidence & symbol, politeness, comfort, and luxury. Practicality pursuit group considered politeness of clothing more and did not purchase impulsively, but material & fashion pursuit considered many factors of clothing attitudes most. Conservative leisure utilizing group considered economy most, but negative stagnate group considered less. 3. Factors of clothing purchasing motives were fashion & conformity, fitness, impulse, and practical needs. Practicality pursuit group purchased clothing because of practical needs, but material & fashion pursuit group purchased of fashion & conformity, fitness, impulse, and practical needs.
