  • Objectives: This study is designed to report the correlation between Body Mass Index(BMI), Heart Rate Variability(HRV), stess, drinking alcohol, coffee and smoking. Methods: From 1st January 2010 to 31st December 2012, We tested on 458 patients who hospitalized in Cheong Yeon Korean Medicine Hospital for reducing their weights, then we collected the statistical analysis with the result of their HRV and the special survey. Results: This experiment was studied on total 458 patients, 27 were men and 431 were women. The average of the age of men was $28.23{\pm}4.22$ and $24.31{\pm}385$ was women. There were significant differences in BMI, Low frequency(LF), High frequency(HF), stress score, frequency of drinking alcohol, smoking and drinking coffee followed by their ages. When we looked at the correlation between obesity with smoking and drinking coffee, we can see that the BMI increased, the frequency of drinking alcohol was decreased, however there were no statistic correlation in smoking and drinking coffee with BMI. Conclusions: With the result of HRV, we can suggest the BMI and stress score are correlated each other but we need further studies about passive stress relief by taking favourite food such as drinking alcohol, smoking, drinking coffee, etc.

  • Analyzing on-line consumer responses is directly related to the management performance of food companies. Therefore, this study collected and analyzed data from an on-line portal site created by consumers about food companies with issues and examined the relationships between the data and the management performance. Through this process, we identified consumers' awareness of these companies obtained from big data analysis and analyzed the relationship between the results and the sales and stock prices of the companies through a time-series graph and correlation analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the result of the text mining analysis suggests that consumers respond more sensitively to negative issues than to positive issues. Second, the emotional analysis showed that companies' ethics issues (Enterprise 3 and 4) have a higher level of emotional continuity than that of food safety issues. It can be interpreted that the problem of ethical management has great influence on consumers' purchasing behavior. Finally, In the case of all negative food issues, the number of word frequency and emotional scores showed opposite trends. As a result of the correlation analysis, there was a correlation between word frequency and stock price in the case of all negative food issues and also between emotional scores and stock price. Recently, studies using big data analytics have been conducted in various fields. Therefore, based on this research, it is expected that studies using big data analytics will be done in the agricultural field.

  • This study aims to present new frequency-related seismic intensity parameters (SIPs) based on the Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) analysis. The proposed procedure is utilized for the processing of several seismic accelerograms. Thus, the entire evaluated Hilbert Spectrum (HS) of each considered seismic velocity time-history is investigated first, and then, a delimited area of the same HS around a specific frequency is explored, for the proposition of new SIPs. A first application of the suggested new parameters is to reveal the interrelation between them and the structural damage of a reinforced concrete frame structure. The index of Park and Ang describes the structural damage. The fundamental frequency of the structure is considered as the mentioned specific frequency. Two statistical methods, namely correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, are used to identify the relationship between the considered SIPs and the corresponding structural damage. The results confirm that the new proposed HHT-based parameters are effective descriptors of the seismic damage potential and helpful tools for forecasting the seismic damages on buildings.

  • Large Eddy Simulation (LES) is used to explore the influence of vibration frequency and amplitude on the aerodynamic performance of a rectangular cylinder with an aspect ratio of B/D=5 (B: breadth; D: depth of cylinder) at a Reynolds number of 22,000 near resonance frequency. In smooth flow conditions, the research employs a sequence of three-dimensional simulations under forced vibration with diverse frequency ratios fe / fo = 0.8-1.2 (fe : oscillation frequency; fo : Strouhal frequency when the rectangular cylinder is stationary ) and oscillation amplitudes Ah/D = 0.05 - 0.3. The individual influences of fe / fo and Ah/D on the characteristics of integrated and distributed aerodynamic forces are the focal points of discussion. For the integrated aerodynamic force, particular emphasis is placed on the analysis of the dependence of velocity-proportional component C1 and displacement-proportional component C2 of unsteady aerodynamic force on amplitude and frequency ratio. Near the resonance frequency, the dependencies of C1 and C2 on amplitude are stronger than that of frequency ratio. For the distributed aerodynamic force, the increase in frequency and amplitude promotes the position of the main vortex core and reattachment to the leading edge in the streamwise direction. In the spanwise direction, vibration enhances the spanwise correlation of aerodynamic force to weaken the three-dimensional effect of the flow field, and a lower frequency ratio and larger amplitude amplify this effect.

  • Instrumentation and technologies are described for determining the vibration response characteristics of the pear with frequency range 5 to 320Hz. The computer program for controlling the vibration exciter and the function generator and for measuring the vibration response characteristics of the pear was developed. Mechanical properties such bioyield deformation, rupture deformation and apparent elastic modulus etc. were compared with the vibration response characteristics of the pear. The resonant frequency of the pear ranged from 53 to 102Hz and the amplitude at resonance was between 1.08 and 2.48g-rms. The resonant frequency and amplitude at resonance decreased with the increase of the sample mass, and they were slightly affected by mechanical properties such as bioyield deformation and rupture deformation. Regression analysis was performed among the relatively high correlated parameters from the results of correlation coefficient analysis.

  • Evoked otoacoustic emission (e-OAE) signals are measured from adult and analyzed by computer. Stimulation and detection are repeated and averaged 1000 times for noise cancellation. e-OAE signals are analyzed on frequency domain and time domain. The frequency domain analysis reveals that frequency of stimulus and emission has lineal relationship in 50 dB input sound amplitude. This result altos the cross correlation method to be applied for latency calculation. As the stimulus frequency grows higher, the latency tine is shorter and the gain or emission signal becomes greater. We introduced two mathmatical functions to identify these latecy and gain. These results can be utilized for cochlear modeling.

  • In order to derive reliable propagation models for future millimeter-wave frequency indoor pico-cellular communications systems, accurate reflectivity data of building materials is necessary. The broad variety of building materials and construction codes makes accurate attenuation prediction very difficult without the support of specific construction data or measurements. This paper derives a transmission and reflection coefficient based on 13 GHz to 28 GHz measurement data. Transmission and reflection is measured by applying change in the reception angle of each building material, such as plasterboard. The transmission and reflection coefficient derived shows a correlation between frequency dependence and angle. As a result, as the reception angle is reduced, the reflected angle from the transmitter that could be received increases, showing that there is a correlation. In addition, the fundamental investigations carried out lay the foundation for radio channel-related research, which is essential for the development of future millimeter-wave communications systems.

  • In this paper, the vibration of high speed trains and the irregularity of railway are examined using a wavelet-based frequency response function. To investigate their characteristics, non-stationary acceleration data are acquired and processed using the wavelet transform. Also, the railway irregularity is examined by acquiring the data from the on-board laser-based measurement system. The correlation between the train vibration and the railway irregularity has been investigated. From the analysis, the wavelet-based frequency response function is a promised method for the dynamic characteristics of high speed trains.
