  • The variable-node solid element with rotational degrees of freedom has been developed far efficient connection of transition zones and far connection of different types of elements with rotational degrees of freedom. In applying this new element to engineering problems, it is necessary to fine the relations between tractions and equivalent nodal farces. In this case, the equivalent forces in solid element with rotational degrees of freedom and ratational forces are a bit different from that af conventional solid elements. Some typical examples are presented.

  • This paper describes the formulation of rectangular flat shell element that is modeled with the six degree of freedoms including a rotational degree of freedom. The rectangular finite element matrix with a rotational degree of freedom is developed using a beam stiffness matrix and compared with other methods. The outputs of the quantity of vertical deflection of cantilever beam show us the improving evidence of the Frame-Shell finite element matrix in a calculation of vertical deflections of cantilever beam.

  • Purpose: Misfit of implant components was very important in terms of prosthodontics. they has been linked to prosthetic complications such as screw loosening and fracture. Although there are many results about rotational freedom or machining tolerance between fixture and abutments, the data about domestic implant systems are lacking. The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the rotational freedom of domestic external and internal connection implant systems between their fixtures/anlaogs and abutments comparing imported systems. Materials and Methods: Rotational freedom between abutments and fixtures/analogs was investigated by using digitalized rotational angle measuring device. (1) 1 domestic external connection system(Neobiotec) and 2 imported external connection systems(Nobel Biocare, Anthorgyr), (2) 1 domestic internal connection system(Dentium) and 4 imported external connection systems(Nobel Biocare, Anthorgyr, Straumann, Frident Dentsply), and (3) 1 domestic zirconia external connection abutment(ZirAce) were evaluated. Each group has 3 samples. Mean values for each group were analyzed. Results: The differences relative to rotational freedom between domestic and imported implant systems were observed but domestic external connection implant system showed about 2.67 degrees(in case of fixture) and internal connection system showed about 4.3 degrees(in case of fixture). Domestic zirconia abutment showed less than 3 degrees of rotational freedom in a situation where the abutment was connected to an implant fixture egardless of domestic or imported systems. Conclusion: Newly developed digitalized rotational angle measuring device has high measuring resolution. The rotational freedom of domestic implant systems were similar to imported implant systems.

  • For a long time, the basis of Korea Broadcasting law and regulation system has been center around television, This is not much different from other countries. This study is based on research of Korea Broadcasting law and regulation system. It precludes all doubts that freedom of broadcasting is one of those fundamental human rights that constitute the comer stones of democracy, just as is the case with the press. The objective of this study is to explore the practical meaning and the structure of regulations on the freedom of broadcasting under the Constitutional of the Republic of Korea, From the viewpoint of freedom of expression. For these purposes, this study inqures into the meaning and legal characters of freedom of Korean Constitutional Law, and the structure restricting freedom of broadcasting on the ground of functions and role of broadcasting in our contemporary society, comparing with those of the Unites states of America and the Federal Republic of Germany.

  • The meaning of the amendment to the Media Arbitration Act in our society is not limited to media companies. And it's not just a problem for a specific group. It expresses public value because it is an issue that can affect members of society as a whole and furthermore, it becomes a bill that can infringe or strengthen individual freedom guaranteed by the Constitution, but makes different arguments. Freedom of speech is not achieved in a day and should not be easily lost by someone. Although it is not a frequent problem, fatal threats arising from wrong media reports take away an individual's present and future. It is because of this problem that the responsibility is important. Freedom of speech and control are heading in different directions, but they are the same as the front and back of the coin. The freedom pursued is different, but it consists of one body. If freedom and responsibility of speech made up of one body criticize or ignore each other, the results are scattered into a distorted On the other hand, the flexion of responsibility without freedom serves as a speaker that conveys the ideology of some classes or represents the interests of a particular group. The fact that the media should act as the air of society means that it should represent the interests of the majority, make them aware of the rights of unfair or marginalized members, and be their strength.

  • This study analyzes various recent aspects of intellectual freedom restrictions in the domestic libraries, identifies difficulties facing librarians in the field, and suggests countermeasures. Specifically, we conducted literature research, including the definition and declaration of library intellectual freedom in core documents by domestic and international expert groups, the background of selection of 'Nadaum Children's Book', which is at the center of controversy, and analysis of previous research. Next, we investigated the patterns of intellectual freedom restrictions committed in libraries, difficulties encountered in the field, and cases of response at the individual library level among librarians. In addition, we surveyed the level of perception in the field about countermeasures against intellectual freedom restrictions at the level of associations and expert groups and future plans to guarantee intellectual freedom. Finally, based on this, countermeasures against restrictions of intellectual freedom were proposed at the level of the National Library Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, associations and expert groups, and individual libraries.

  • In 3D graphics interface, 3D objects and virtual camera have many degrees of freedom. We interpret the control of 3D objects and virtual camera as a problem of kinematics and inverse kinematics. It is well known that extra degrees of freedom introduce various singularities in inverse kinematics. In this paper, we approach 3D graphics interface problems by reducing redundant degrees of freedom so that the control degrees of freedom matches with the degrees of freedom in the motions of 3D objects and virtual camera.

  • The Six Degree-of-Freedom manipulators are generally operated by linear actuators which are hydraulic cylinder, pneumatic cylinder, ball-screw. But these actuators are not adequate to have a wide work-space, and furthermore some of them have a self-locking property. Therfore, we have designed a new manipulator which fully overcomes these demerits. The new manipulating system consists of 6 DC-motors to generate operation forces and 6 position transducers to feedback displacement signals. This paper presents an overview of the design and characteristics of 6 Degree-of-Freedom force feedback manipulators for vitual reality implementation. we can operate Six Degree-of-Freedom manipulator with six motors and six potentiometers.

  • The infinite imagination and variety of material, and freedom of expression are fundamental elements of the comics. However, although the freedom of comics expression is linked with the liberty of speech and press, it's expression is constrained by a public authority and social pressure, self-regulation. This paper explains some problems and desirable freedom of expression thought researches on constraints of comics expression of Korea and Japan.

  • In this study, an improved 8-node flat shell element is presented for the analysis of shell structure, by combining 8-node membrane element with drilling degree-of-freedom and 8-node plate bending element based on the recently presented technique. Firstly, 8-node membrane element designated as CLM8 is presented in this paper. The element has drilling degree-of.freedom in addition to transitional degree-of-freedom. Therefore the element possesses 3 degrees-of-freedom per each node which as well as the improvement of the element behavior, permits an easy connection to other element with rotational degree-of -freedom. Secondly. 8-node flat shell element was composed by adding 8-node Mindlin plate bending element to the membrane element. The behavior of the introduced plate bending element is further improved by combined use of nonconforming displacement modes, selectively reduced integration scheme and assumed shear strain fields. The element passes in the patch test, doesn't show spurious mechanism and doesn't produce shear locking phenomena. Finally, Numerical examples are presented to show the performance of flat shell element developed in the present study.
