Microporous polymer lubricants(MPLs) are solid polymer materials containing micropores which are filled with liquid lubricants, and which are molded or formed to suit rolling bearings or other machine parts requiring lubrication. MPLs can be effectively applied to provide long-term, maintenance-free lubrication of a variety of machine elements without fully replacing of oils and greases. The application of rolling bearings packed fully with an MPL could reduce or eliminate the problems such as grease deterioration, leakage, under-lubrication caused by insertion of water or foreign matters under severe operation conditions. This paper discuss the application of MPLs for lubrication of rolling ball bearings. Two different MPLs were synthesized and the features of MPLs were tested. Characteristics of the bearings which are packed fully with synthesized MPLs were investigated using SEM, TG/DSC, extents of oil leakage, OIT, and life time test. After these preliminary tests twelve MPLs were synthesized and evaluated by measuring extents of oil leakage and OIT values. Then synthesis conditions for the optimum MPL were selected by SSRED(Six Sigma Robust Engineering Design) pro gram using extents of oil leakage and OIT values respectively. The optimum MPL by means of OIT value showed higher performance such as long life time and application at higher temperature of $140^{\circ}C$ than previous temperature of $100^{\circ}C$.

The purpose of this paper is to understand the influence of country personality dimensions and product involvement on European consumers purchase and visit intentions, considering the Portuguese context. The increasing economic globalisation has resulted in the reducing of trade barriers between nations and the availability of more foreign products and services across borders. Therefore, the place associations of these products and services might be regarded as a potential competitive differentiator in their respective markets. Despite the proliferation of literature devoted to assessing the effects of country-of-origin, the symbolic dimension of a country's image remains understudied. A questionnaire measuring country personality dimensions, product involvement, and consumer's purchase and visit intention was passed on a sample of 335 European consumers. Country personality indeed matters both positively and negatively. Findings show that while assiduousness positively influences consumer's visit intentions, wickedness has a negative influence on consumer's purchase intentions. Findings also reveal that product involvement has a positive significant influence on consumer's purchase and visit intentions. On developing marketing strategies, international marketers and governmental decision-makers should consider product involvement attributes and specific country personality traits to provide the country's products with a competitive edge, as well as to promote the country as a travelling destination.

Purpose: This paper examines the theoretical grounds for the disclosure of the Korea Fair Trade Commission. Three central measures of the disclosure are scrutinized: The interconnected status of affiliate companies, the important matters of private affiliates, and the large internal transactions. Contemplating on three measures, respectively, we review the rationale and derive policy implications. Research design, data, and methodology: Collecting the data of violation rates and remedial measures, we analyze the intensity of the disclosure enforcement. These statistics are critically reviewed by the economic literature of mandatory disclosure. Results: Statistics evince that the Korea Fair Trade Commission has enforced the regulatory disclosure quite successfully. Violation rates of the disclosure has declined from the outset. It demonstrates that the Korea Fair Trade Commission has enforced those measures satisfactorily for about a decade. But we cannot ascertain empirically whether the regulatory disclosures are socially and economically beneficial. To evaluate the effect of the regulatory disclosures precisely, we need a further empirical investigation. Conclusions: Despite the lack of policy evaluation, this study suggests complementary measures for current disclosures. First, disclosure of executive compensation in privately held subsidiaries must be introduced. Second, the controlling shareholder/manager should be responsible for information disclosure on foreign subsidiaries.

Mediation is one of several alternatives to litigation or arbitration. It is the most informal of the alternatives and the only one that gives the parties control over the outcome. The mediator in mediation is there to help the parties persuade each other that it is in their best interests to settle. As several advantages of mediation, it is considered as the fastest way to resolve a dispute because procedures associated with litigation are not imported into the process. In mediation, the client's resources are focused on resolving the dispute as opposed to building armaments of evidence to buttress legal and factual positions. The AAA commercial mediation rules and operations in the USA are very successful owing to professional training for mediators and simple procedures for mediation to the public. Comparison with USA mediation, KCAB mediation system has several weak points. KCAB mainly deals with administrative matters related to Foreign Trade Law. Therefore, it is necessary for KCAB to come up with more improved international commercial mediation. For example, mediation should be promoted to the public as who easily rely on litigation or arbitration. Second, Setting a rule for easy access to mediation is needed by bench marking AAA's mediation guidelines and operations. Third, professional mediators should be developed by establishing relevant ADR course in law schools. This article investigated some differences of mediation system between KCAB in Korea and AAA in USA, and present some suggestions in order to promote International commercial mediation in KCAB.

신문(新聞)은 정보원(情報源)으로서 이용도(利用度)가 높다. 각 신문사의 CTS의 도입으로 인하여 신문기사 데이터베이스화(化)가 촉진되어 상용(商用)으로 제공 서비스되는 신문기사의 데이터베이스도 많아졌다. 일본(日本)에서 이용되는 일본과 외국의 주된 신문기사 데이터베이스에 관하여 다음 사항(事項)을 해설하였다. 1) 수록기간, 갱신빈도, 타임 래그, 수록내용, 검색어, 출력 가능한 정보 등 데이터베이스의 특징, 2) 이용시(利用時)의 유의사항, 3) 기업조사, 업계 동향조사 등 조사 목적별의 이용 패턴 등이다. 이러한 데이터베이스는 전자정보의 형태로 이용이 가능하며, 장래에는 사내(社內)의 LAN과 결합하여 이용되리라고 예측된다.

경비업체는 다른 모든 기업조직과 마찬가지로 조직 구성원들의 잠재적 능력을 최대한 발휘하여 조직의 목표와 개인의 목표를 달성할 수 있도록 인적자원을 관리하고 있다. 특히 경비업은 고객의 생명 및 신체에 대한 위해, 재산에 대한 침해 등을 경계하고 방지하는 업무를 수행하기 때문에 그 업무를 담당하고 있는 경비요원의 능력과 자질이 무엇보다 중요하다. 따라서 민간경비 서비스를 제공하는 경비요원들이 어떤 교육을 받고 어떤 서비스를 제공하느냐는 바로 고객의 생명과 신체와 재산에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 경비원의 법정교육 등은 매우 중요하며 나아가 직 간접적으로 민간경비산업에 영향을 미치는 것이다. 이러한 문제의식 하에서 본 연구는 경비원 법정교육의 변천과정을 살펴보고 나아가 현행 경비원 법정교육제도를 분석하여 문제점을 도출한 후 이에 대한 발전방안을 제시하는 것이 목적이다.

In the case of a sea transport contract, the decision of the governing law, together with the choice of lex fori, shall be a legal issue in all legal disputes involving damage to the goods. In sea transport contracts, a paramount clause is often established in conjunction with the governing law clause, which can lead to conflict between these two clauses. Most B/L's back clauses contain a paramount clause that provides that the Hague Rules, Hague-Visby Rules, or foreign laws that prevail over other provisions of the terms. The Hague Rules and the Hague-Visby Rules, however, set different standards regarding the extent of the sea carrier's liability. Therefore, in the interpretation of ground conditions, it is an important question whether the Hague Rules or the Hague-Visby Rules are applied or whether each rule is applied as a law. For example, the paramount clause in the Superior Pescadores case was problematic in the interpretation of the term 'Hague Rules.' In this case, the English Court held that the expression 'Hague Rules' could be used to mean the Hague-Visby Rules, and not exclusively the Hague Rules. Therefore, the Hague-Visby Rules were applied in the judgment of this case, which suggests that this case can be a valuable precedent in future legal matters.

William Shakespeare's dirge, "The Phoenix and the Turtle," is still a crux in the Shakespearean canon and interpretation. The poem is still believed a dark allegory dealing with some arcane and obscure courtly matters and politics. However, we cannot recover its allegorical significance. This interpretive situation enforces us to read the poem as a self-conscious artwork in terms of its paradoxical language and meta-poetic metaphors. Paradox, as a subspecies of metaphor, challenges categorical and judgmental absolutes, and produces a sense of wonder in reconciling the logically contradictory opposites. In this poem the urn containing the ashes of the phoenix and the turtle is the icon of the mysterious unity of art, born of the wonderful marriage of male and female. Shakespeare's poem demonstrates in itself the magical power of poetic language in transforming an elegy into an epithalamion. The union of the phoenix and the turtle defies the singularity of their respective entity, and at the same time it retains their distinctive particularity of the two-ness. This neo-Platonic mystery of the "married chastity" is a paradox which confounds reason and verifies the poetic truth of imaginative intellect. The marriage of Christian perichoresis is crystallized in the artwork of the urn, which is admired at by posterity, though the marriage was issueless, due to its passing virtue. "The Phoenix and the Turtle" depicts the metaphor-making process and its effect, the poem.

This work shows dynamism of empathy which Thailand experienced while its monarchy was replaced by democracy with conflicts and harmony. In this work, two imaginary protagonists are put into the most important period in Thai history, from the political reform of the absolute monarchy in 1932 up to Black May in 1992, for 60 years. With the writer's imagination, they are actualized into the historically important situations with reality. One of them is Yeoy, a dissident and the other is a police officer, a concenter, who chases after him. In this dissertation, empathy is analyzed which the characters feel about real incidents in their country through trust and doubt, hope and anger. This research on emotional circumstance is all about figuring out the direction for harmony and coexistance. Thailand needs a powerful leader who deals with swiftly changing worldwide affairs and domestically economic matters. Even if their leader has the same destination to get to, their approach to it is different from each other. Therefore, conflicts come out and misunderstanding makes situation worse. Public sympathy among Thai is that Thailand contribute to global mutual prosperity, by which Thailand becomes a powerful and influential state in making the world harmonious and prosperous.

During the last ten years, there have been many studies related with settlement and reinvigoration of CM. These researches have shown that the application of CM has been not reinvigorated in Korean construction industry yet, because of some problems such as the insufficient application of the public sector, the policy matters and the CM fee estimates. But the present condition data of the Korean CM Market shown in these studies was insufficient for the standpoint of Market itself. Also, some of these studies compared the Korean CM Market with The America CM Market, to study the foreign CM markets. However, because the Korea CM Market only has the CM for Fee Market but the American CM Market has the CM for Fee and the CM at Risk, the Korea CM Market must be not only compared with the America CM Market but also compared with the America CM for Fee Market. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the present condition of the Korea CM Market through the compare and contrast of the Korean CM Market, American CM Market and American CM for Fee Market, by the Market Growth rate and Market Share. This study further aims to verify whether Korean CM market was implemented.
