  • 인터넷과 정보통신기술의 급속적인 발전으로 수천 또는 수억에 달하는 방대하고 다양한 정보들이 웹상에서 존재하게 되었다. 웹상에서 획득가능한 학술정보가 증가함에 따라 다량의 정보를 효율적으로 수집하기 위하여 다양한 웹 로봇기반 수집에이전트를 활용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹에 산재되어 있는 해외학술정보를 체계적이고 주기적으로 수집, 분류하기 위하여 학술지목차DB(QTOC)를 활용한 해외학술정보 수집에이전트 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • This study investigates the population model of the spread of HIV/AIDS which the infection is generated by an infectious in dividual in a population of susceptibles. A mathematical model is presented for the transmission dynamics of HIV infection within the communities of homosexual males. The pattern on the epidemic character of HIV, the causative agent of AIDS, was analysed by the mathematical model of AIDS system which is derived according to the ecological relationship between five epidemilogic states of individuals. The computer simulation was performed using real data.

  • 2-Mercaptothiazoline is very sensitive reagent for silver, which have been used for highly selective amperometric determination of silver. A method is described for the determination of micro-quantity of silver by amperometric titration with 2-mercaptothiazoline in ammonical solution. Direct titration of milligram amount of silver (0.05∼1.00mg) is possible in the presence of a number of foreign ions in ammonical solution containing ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid as masking agent under atmosphere. The interfering elements are gold and platinum. The milligram amounts of silver can be determined by the proposed method within an error ${\pm}$5%.

  • A potentiometric titration method has been developed for the titration of copper with 2,5-dimercapo-1,3,4-thiadizole in aqueous solution using a silver electrode as an indicator electrode vs. the standard calomel electrode as a reference electrode. The 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole is very sensitive reagent for copper, which has been found to be highly selective for potentiometric determination of copper. Direct titration of trace amount of copper (0.02${\sim}$0.1 mg) is possible in the presence of a number of foreign ions in aqueous solution containing potassium hydrogen phthalate and sodium fluoride as masking agent under atmosphere.

  • 컴퓨터 네트웍 시스템에서 부각되고 있는 두 가지 중요한 추세는 아마도 ‘멀티미디어’와 ‘이동 컴퓨팅’일 것이다. 멀티캐스트는 멀티미디어 데이터가 차지하는 많은 네트웍 트래픽을 수신 컴퓨터들에게 효율적으로 분배함으로써 네트웍 트래픽을 줄일 수 있다. 그러나 이동 호스트를 지원하는 이동 네트웍에서의 멀티캐스팅은 빈번한 그룹 멤버쉽의 변화와 함께 그룹 멤버의 위치변화로 인해서 기존의 고정 호스트를 기본으로 설계된 멀티캐스트 프로토콜을 적용하는 것은 적합하지 못한다. 이런 점에서 Mobile IP를 기본 유니캐스팅 환경에서 채택하여 이동 호스트에게 멀티캐스트를 지원하기 위한 몇 가지 방법이 제시되었으나, 비최적 경로로의 데이터 전송, 비효율적인 데이터 중복 전송, 또는 빈번한 멀티캐스트 트리의 재구성으로 인한 오버헤드 등의 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 제안된 프로토콜에서는 이동 호스트에게 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공하는 FMA(Foreign Multicast Agent)를 유동적으로 선정하고 이동 호스트가 가지는 타임아웃 값을 이용하여 이동성으로 인해 발생하는 문제점들을 완화시킴으로써, Mobile IP를 이용하는 이동 호스트에게 IP멀티캐스팅을 효과적으로 제공한다.

  • 무선 LAN 환경의 증가로 인하여 Mobile IP를 기반으로 하는 이동 호스트의 핸드오프 횟수가 증가함에 따라 핸드오프 수행 시 발생하는 패킷 손실, 지연 시간, 오버헤드를 최소화하기 위하여 더 향상된 핸드오프 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 핸드오프 기법은 다음 셀 예측 (Next-Cell Prediction)기법으로 무선 LAN 기술을 이용하며, 현재 FA(Foreign Agent)가 아닌 이동 호스트가 방문할 FA에 패킷을 버퍼링 하고, 버퍼링 된 패킷의 포워딩 시간을 최소로 하며, 셀 사이를 이동할 때에 두 셀의 영역이 중첩되는 지점에서의 계층 이동 여부를 시그널의 세기를 측정하여 결정함으로써 성능 향상을 가져온다.

  • 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서, 하나의 셀 내의 여러 이동 호스트들이 제한된 무선 채널을 사용하여 서로 통신을 하게 된다. 따라서 채널을 요구하는 이동 호스트들에게 제한된 무선 채널을 효율적으로 할당하는 작업은, 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 상당히 중요한 일이라 할 수 있을 것이다. 이동 컴퓨팅 환경의 구성 요소 중에 무선 링크는 다른 요소들에 비해 사용이 제한되어 있는 자원이다. 본 논문에서는 Mobile IP를 사용하는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 하나의 FA에 등록하는 이동 호스트의 수를 효율적으로 관리하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 채널 할당 상태는 변경하지 않고 그대로 유지하면서 셀의 중복도를 이용해서 중복된 지역에 있는 이동 호스트들은 자동적으로 다른 셀의 FA(Foreign Agent)로 등록되게 하여 현재의 FA의 부하를 감소시키는 기법이다.

  • With the development of wireless networks and the use of mobile devices, mobile user's privacy issue is becoming more and more important. Privacy includes ID anonymity and unlinkability. Unlinkability requires that any two temporary IDs which have been used before should not be associated with each other. In other words, these temporary IDs should be generated in such a way that no direct relationship among them should be derived. The existing schemes only focus on ID anonymity of mobile users. In this paper, we proposed a scheme not only holding all the merits of previous works, but also achieving unlinkability which is guaranteed by using one-time-use temporary ID. And the mobile user can also updates its one-time-use temporary ID with the help of the visited foreign agent.

An Experimental Study on the Automobile Engine Room Fire Using the Extinguishing Agents (소화약제를 이용한 자동차 엔진룸 화재 실험에 관한 연구)

  • Several complex devices and equipments are installed in the car's engine room, including various kind of oils or other flammable materials. So re-ignition is very likely to take place in it. In addition, it is restrictive for the driver or the occupant to open the bonnet and to spray the fire extinguisher in the engine room due to the high possibility of explosion. Therefore, a fire extinguishing system, which can detect a fire and inject the fire extinguishing agent to extinguish it, and fire extinguishing agents including HFC-227ea, which can stand the high temperature within the engine room and hold the viscosity sufficient to keep it in the kind of foam, were developed and tested. And the suffocation effect and the cooling effect come from the fire extinguishing principle of the foam fire extinguishing agent and the inhibiter catalyst effect come from the one of HFC-227ea was led simultaneously, and fire extinguishing agents without the secondary damage caused by residuals after the fire extinguishment like a case of the powder fire extinguishing agent, were developed. And experiments using a vehicle collision after the discharge is complete, foreign material can be removed without extinguishing the advantage that experimental results obtained.

A Study on the Preventive Measures against Fall Injuries in Manufacturing Industry Focusing on the Portable Ladders (이동식 사다리를 중심으로 한 제조업에서의 추락재해 예방대책 연구)

  • The injuries as a result of fall accidents is the one of the most common kind of injuries in Korea, especially fall from height is the top most common kind for fatal injuries. Futhermore, the number of fall injuries in manufacturing industry has been steadily increasing from 2000 to 2007. In 2007 the number of fall fatal injuries increased 10.6 % in comparison with the number in 2006. These numbers are 6~17 times higher than those for foreign countries such as the U.K and the USA. So, it is needed to make a study to reduce these numbers for manufacturing industry. To get the goals, we did research as followings. First, this study analyzed statistics by industry, by fall height, by common agent and so on to gain an insight into real aspect of fall injuries. It showed that ladder is the commonly cited agent for manufacturing industry, and 3 risky activities ; the ladder work, the load/unload work, and the maintenance work. Secondly, this study made a survey of manufacturing workers for their understandings of the most 3 risky activities. It showed that 'tendency to work easily' and 'difficulty of applying measures due to inherent working conditions' are main reasons for workers not to implement the preventive measures against the fall accidents. Thirdly, this study tested the slip characteristics of ladder base and lungs. The tests were done based on ANSI standard and KS. In addition to the standard condition, this study performed slip tests in wet and sandy conditions and compared the results with the those of standard condition. It showed that friction coefficient is standard condition > wet condition > sandy condition, and the friction coefficient of ladder for sandy condition is measured to be reduced by 63.9% compared with that for standard condition. Finally, this study developed safety work models for using of portable ladders in consideration of the safety standards of foreign countries such as the U.K, the USA, and the Australia.
