야간 투시 영상시스템의 Green A에 적합한 작은 형태인자를 가진 LED에 관한 연구 (A Study on LED with Small Form Factor Suitable for Green A of Night Vision Imaging System)

  • In this study, we have successfully developed an unique NVIS Green A compatible LED by combining two technologies. One is white LED made with a black EMC (epoxy molding compound) lead frame. The other is NVIS Green A filter that shields the near infrared region made in the film method. The form factor of the developed NVIS Green A compatible LED was 2.0 × 2.0 × 0.95 mm. And it is possible to satisfy NVIS radiance and color limit specified in MIL-STD-3009 by controlling the concentration of Green A dye and the thickness of the NVIS filter as well as adjusting of color temperature of the white LED. From these results, we are expected that the developed NVIS Green A suitable LED is a promising solution for the weight reduction and the cost reduction of avionic applications.

  • Current seismic design provisions allow structures to deform into inelastic range during design level earthquakes since the chance to meet such event is quite rare. For this purpose, design base shear is defined in current seismic design provisions as the value of elastic seismic shear force divided by strength reduction factor, R (${\geq}1$). Strength reduction factor generally consists of four different factors, which can account for ductility capacity, overstrength, damping, and redundancy inherent in structures respectively. In this study, R factor is assumed to account for only the ductility rather than overstrength, damping, and redundancy. The R factor considering ductility is called "ductility factor" ($R_{\mu}$). This study proposes ductility factor with correction factor, C, which can account for dynamic P-${\Delta}$ effect. Correction factor, C is established as the functional form since it requires computational efforts and time for calculating this factor. From the statistical study using the results of nonlinear dynamic analysis for 40 earthquake ground motions (EQGM) it is shown that the dependence of C factor on structural period is weak, whereas C factor is strongly dependant on the change of ductility ratio and stability coefficient. To propose the functional form of C factor statistical study is carried out using 79,920 nonlinear dynamic analysis results for different combination of parameters and 40 EQGM.

Ag 입자의 형성에서 구동력 및 계면활성제의 효과 (Effects of Driving Force and Surfactant on the Formation of Ag Powders)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effects of the driving force for reduction and the surfactant (polyacrylic acid) on the size of Ag particles. As the driving force for reduction increases, the size of particles decreases due to a decrease of initial nuclei-size. Also, an increase of pH increases the amount of ionized surfactant, which leads to a decrease of particle size due to the prevention of particle growth. Both the driving force and the surfactant may affect the particle size, but the surfactant appeared to be a more dominant factor than reduction potential in terms of controlling the particle size. An increase of surfactant in the range of pH=3-4 decreases the size of Ag particles, although the reduction potential also decreases.

인장지배영역에서의 철근콘크리드 기둥의 연성에 관한 해석적 연구 (An Analytical Study on Ductility of Reinforced Concrete Columns under Tension Controlled Region)

  • Design strength of structural members could be determined by applying a strength reduction factor to nominal strength. At the beginning point of the transition region for the strength reduction factor, P=0.1$\sigma$$_{ck}A_g$, only sectional area and concrete strength are adopted as the variables of P=0.1$\sigma$$_{ck}A_g$. Therefore, P=0.1$\sigma$$_{ck}A_g$ is the empirically adopted which does not consider steel ratio, steel yielding stress, and steel arrangement. So, this research was perpormed the computer program for the analysis of axial force-moment-curvature relationship of reinforced concrete columns by sectional behaviour nonlinear analysis using a concrete compressive stress-strain curve, in order to investigate the ductility of reinforced concrete columns. As a result, ductility indicies of axial force, P=0.1$\sigma$$_{ck}A_g$, represented the lack of consistency of the indicies value for the various sections.

  • In this paper, contact between the coupler-roller and guide in elevator door mechanism is modeled and analyzed with DADS 3D program. The contact force of coupler-roller is an important factor for impact and noise reduction when doors of elevator are opened or closed. To minimize the maximum contact force, an optimal cam profile for the door guide is suggested. To find an optimal shape of the guide, several types of motion curve are tested with DADS contact module.

  • 현행 내진설계 규준에서 사용하고 있는 반응수정계수는 설계지진하중과 유사한 지진발생시 구조물이 비선형 거동을 하도록 탄성응답에서 요구되는 밑면전단력 값을 낮추는 계수라 할 수 있다. 따라서 반응수정계수는 하중저감계수(force reduction factor)라고 할 수 있으며, 이러한 값들은 경험적으로 결정된 것이어서 예상지진에 대하여 구조설계자가 설계한 건물이 어느정도의 비선형 거동을 할지는 예측하기가 힘들다. 본 연구에서는 목표가 되는 연성비(target ductility ratio)에 따라 요구되는 밑면전단력의 값을 구하고 이를 규준에서 요구하는 값과 비교할 것이다. 만약 요구되는 값이 규준 값 보다 크다면 이는 구조물이 가지는 부가강도(overstrength)나 잉여력(redundancy)이 담당해야 한다. 모멘트연성골조 건물을 설계한 후 이를 push-over 해석에 의하여 부가강도를 찾아 보아 요구강도와 비교할 것이다.

  • Developed the model equations which calculate roll force, roll power during hot rolling in real time. The variables which mainly effect on the roll force, roll power are shape factor, reduction, roll diameter, roll velocity, strip inlet temperature, carbon content of strip and strip-roll contact friction coefficient. Among these variables roll diameter, roll velocity, inlet temperature, carbon content and friction coefficient can be excluded in interpolated model equation by introducing equation of die force(F'), power(p') of the frictionless uniform plane strain compression which can be calculated without iteration. At the case of coulomb friction coefficient of 0.3, we evaluated coefficient of polynomial equations of {{{{ { F} over {F' } }}}}, {{{{ { Pf} over {Pd }, { Pd} over {P' } }}}} from the result of finite element analysis using interpolation. It was found that the change of values of {{{{ { F} over {F' }, { P} over {P' } }}}} with the friction coefficient tend to straight line which slope depend only on shape factor. With these properties, developed model equations could be extended to other values of coulomb friction coefficient. To verify developed roll force, roll power model equation we compared the results from these model equation with the results from these model equation with the results from finite element analysis in factory process condition.

항공전자 응용을 위한 NVIS (Night Vision Imaging System) Green A 호환 LED 개발 (Development of Night Vision Imaging System Green A Compatible LED for Avionic Applications)

  • By adapting black body leadflame and thin film type Green A filter, we successfully demonstrated night vision imaging system (NVIS) Green A compatible LED. Fabricated NVIS compatible LEDs show small form factor compared to that of commercialized NVIS compatible LED. Especially, NVIS radiance and chromaticity of MIL-STD-3009 specification can be satisfied simultaneously and easily by controlling the color temperature of the white LED as well as the concentration of the Green A dye and the thickness of the Green A filter. The optimal dye concentration of the NVIS Green A filter is expected to be about 1 wt%. The results of this study are expected to contribute to miniaturization, weight reduction and localization of avionic display and lighting devices.

감소계수 상호영향을 고려한 지오그리드의 장기성능 해석 (Analysis of Long-Term Performance of Geogrids by Considering Interaction among Reduction Factors)

  • 지오그리드의 장기허용강도를 산출할 때 사용되는 총 감소계수는 내시공성 감소계수($RF_{ID}$), 내화학성 감소계수($RF_D$), 크리프 감소계수($RF_{CR}$) 등이 적용된다. 지오그리드의 단기인장강도에 대한 감소계수를 고려한 허용인장강도 산출 모델의 경우 감소계수들 사이의 상호 작용력을 고려하지 않는 한계를 가지고 있다. 접점강도는 인장강도와 마찬가지로 시공 시 손상이나 화학적 분해에 의하여 감소하게 된다. 기존의 단일접점강도 시험 방법은 치수효과를 고려할 수 없기에 결과의 편차가 큰 시공 시 손상된 시험편의 접점강도를 측정하는데 적합하지 않다. 또한 시공 시 손상에 의한 전단강도 변화에 대한 연구도 전혀 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 조건을 고려하여 지오그리드의 장기성능에 영향을 미치는 감소계수들을 재평가하고 감소계수 사이의 상호 작용을 고려하여 정확한 장기허용강도를 구하려고 한다. 내시공성 시험과 내화학성 시험 후 크리프 시험결과 총 감소계수는 GRI GG-4 시험값보다 작게 나타났다. 내시공성 시험과 내화학성 시험 후 접점강도의 감소계수는 인장강도 감소계수보다 더 작게 나타났다. 내시공성 시험후 전단강도 차이가 나타나지 않거나 증가함을 나타내었다.

  • Roughness of a road is an important parameter which not only indicates vehicle's vibration and noise, but it is also related to the contact force of the tire which is induced by tire's deformation and vibration. Since tire noise indeed comes from this deformation and vibration, the estimation of the force is the key factor fur the reduction of tire noise. Because of the difficulty of directly measuring the contact force, the indirect estimation is enforced from the vibration signature measured on the tire support. This study suggests the "inverse filtering" technique well known in modern digital signal processing, so as to reform the tire contact force from monitored vibration signals.
