중부산간 초지에서 초종 및 혼파조합이 목초 수량, 식생 구성 및 사료가치에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Species and Seed Mixture on Productivity, Botanical Composition and Forage Quality in Middle Mountainous Pasture)

  • 본 시험은 중부 산간지(충북 괴산, 해발 520 m)에서 초종 및 혼파조합에 따른 신규조성 초지의 생산성 변화를 평가하기 위하여 수행하였다. 총 7개의 처리(T1 : 오차드그라스, T2 : 티머시, T3 : 톨페스큐, T4 : 페레니얼라이그라스, T5 : 켄터키블루그라스, T6 : 티머시, 12 + 오차드그라스, 10 + 톨페스큐, 10 + 알팔파, 5, 및 T7 : 티머시, 15 + 오차드그라스, 12 + 켄터키블루그라스, 5 + 화이트클로버, 5)를 두고 2014년 가을에 조성하여 2015년 1년동안 수량 및 생육특성을 조사하였다. 초장은 오차드그라스와 페레니얼라이그라스에서 컸으며 건물함량은 켄터키블루그라스에서 높게 나타났다. 식생은 1차 수확시 잡관목의 비율이 높았으나 2차 및 3차에서는 목초의 비율이 높았다. 또한 페레니얼라이그라스는 2차 및 3차 수확시 잡초의 비율이 가장 높게 나타났다. 생초 및 건물수량은 오차드그라스와 페레니얼라이그라스 단파 초지에서 높게 나타났으며(p<0.05) 켄터키블루그라스에서 가장 낮았다. 혼파초지는 톨페스큐 위주 초지가 켄터키블루그라스 위주 혼파초지보다 더 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다(p<0.05). 조단백질 함량은 2차 및 3차 수확시는 16.91 및 14.79%로 높았으며, 2차 수확시 티머시, 톨페스큐, 페레니얼라이그라스는 17.46~18.81%의 높은 조단백질 함량을 보여주었다. 3차 수확시 켄터키블루그라스는 17.57%로 가장 높았다. In vitro 건물 소화율은 1차에서는 낮았으나 2차 및 3차에서는 비슷하게 높은 수준을 유지하였고 켄터키블루그라스는 매 수확시기에서 가장 낮은 IVDMD 함량을 보여주었다. TDN 함량은 3차 수확시 가장 높았으며 1차 수확에서 낮게 나타났다. 전체적으로 사료가치에 있어서 3차 수확시 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났으며 1차 수확시 가장 낮았다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 생산성 면에서는 오차드그라스 및 페레니얼라이그라스 단파 초지 그리고 T6 혼파조합이 우수하였고 사료가치적 측면에서는 티머시 및 페레니얼라이그라스 단파 그리고 T7 혼파조합이 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

논에서 적응성이 우수한 Forage Pea 품종 선발 (Selection of Promising Forage Pea Cultivars on Paddy Field)

  • 본 시험은 우리나라 논에서 적응성이 우수한 forage pea 품종을 선발코자 2004년부터 2006까지 전라남도농업기술원 답리작 포장에서 공시 초종은 자운영 1품종(중국 자생품종)과 forage pea 2품종(cv, 'Austrian Pea', 'Livioletta')이었고 파종량은 120kg/ha으로 수행하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 개화기는 Livioletta 품종이 5월 16일로 빠르고 Austrian Pea품종이 5월 18일로 2일정도 늦었고 월동율은 Austrian Pea 품종이 Livioletta 품종보다 떨어졌다. Austrian pea 품종의 건물률은 20.9% 보다 높았고 ha당 생초수장은 Austrian Pea 품종이 26,870kg으로 많았고 Livioletta 품종이 약 16,235kg/ha로 적었다. 그리고 건물수량에 있어서는 Austrian Pea 품종이 5,986kg/ha으로 Livioletta 품종의 3,652kg/ha보다 훨씬 많은 수량을 얻었고 조단백질 수량에 있어서도 Austrian Pea 품종이 861 kg/ha로 많이 생산되었다. Austrian Pea 품종의 조단백질 함량은 14.4%으로 Livioletta 품종의 15.5%보다 약간 낮았고 건물소화율은 Austrian Pea 품종의 74.3%이 Livioletta 품종의 61.3% 보다 높았다. 그리고 TDN 함량도 Austrian pea 품종의 70.4%이 Livioletta 품종의 62.6% 보다 높은 결과를 얻었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우리나라 논에서 적응성, 조단백질 함량과 건물 생산성 등을 고려한 결과 forage pea 초종이 조사료공급원 작물로 전망이 있고 품종도 Austrian Pea 품종이 우리나라 논에서 적응성이 우수한 품종으로 사료된다.

사초용 유채 생산성과 사료가치에 관한 연구 VI. 파종기별 예취시기가 수량 및 영양가치에 미치는 영향 (Studies on Productivity and Nutrient Quality of Forage Rape (Brassica napus Subsp. oleifera) VI. Influence of Sowing and Harvest Date on Yield and Nutritional Quality)

  • 본 시험은 남부지방에 적합한 사초용유채의 파종기별 예취시기가 수량 및 영양가치에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 Velox를 공시하여 실험하였던바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 경태를 제외한 초장, 분지수, 주경엽수의 형질들은 파종기와 예취시기가 늦을수록 우수하였다. 2. 생초수량은 9월 하순에 파종하여 개화기인 4월 하순에 예취한 구가 가장 높았으며, 건물수량은 파종기와 예취시기가 늦을수록 높아서 9월 하순에 파종하여 만개기인 5월 초순에 예취한 구가 가장 높았다. 3, 조단백질함량은 파종기가 늦을수록 높았고, 예취시기는 늦을수록 급격히 저하되었으며, 9월 하순에 파종하여 추태기인 4월 초순에 예취한 구가 가장 높았었다. 4. NDF, ADF, hemicellilose, cellulose 및 lignin 등의 조섬유함량은 파종기가 늦을수록 저하되었고, 예취시기가 늦을수록 높았었다. 5. IVDMD은 조섬유와 같은 경향이었고, 가소화건물수량은 9월 하순에 파종하여 개화기인 4월 하순에 예취한 구가 가장 높았었다.

호밀 사일리지에 있어서 밀기울 첨가 효과 (Effects of Wheat Bran Addition on the Quality of Rye Silage)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of wheat bran addition on the fermentative quality and dry matter digestibility(Dh4D) of rye silage. This hexbage was ensiled by the conventional methods in small glass silo of 0.82 liter with addition of wheat bran of 0%, 5%. 01%, and 15%. mpectivery.The samples of rye silage were determined the pH, lactic acid, acetic acid and butyric acid. The DMD was evaluated by pepsin-cellulase technique method. The energy values (total digestible nutrients. TDN : digestible energy, DE : metabolizable energy, ME) were calculated by DMD. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The pH and butyric acid of rye silage were reduced with increasing of wheat bran addition, but the contents of lactic acid and total acid were increased. 2. TDN, DE and ME were increased with high rate of wheat bran addition. 3. Regression equation and correlation coefficients between Flieg's score(X) and DMD(Y) of silage were Y =48.7+0.157X(r=0.917, p<0.01). 4. Regression equation and correlation coefficients between level of wheat bran(X) and Flieg's score(Y) of silage were Y= 18.3+5.56X(r=0.929, p<0.01).

전전환 논에서 우분시용이 토양화학성 및 Silage 옥수수의 수량과 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Cattle Manure Application on the Soil Properties , Yield Performance and Quality of Silage Corn Cultivated on Paddy land)

  • Silage wm(cv, Gwanganok) was cultivated during 1991-1994 on paddy land as a rotational cropping system of rice, to evaluate the effect of cattle manure application on the soil characteristics, yield performance and quality of com plant. The treatments used in this study were non-fertilizer, NPK standard in chemical fertilizer(N:$P_2O_5$ : $K_2O$= 200 : 150 : 150 kg/ha), cattle manure 20.40, 60 and 80 ton/ha Application of cattle manure improved soil pH, organic matter, available phosphate and exchangeable cations in the soils. During the experiment, soil pH was improved from 4.7 in the chemical fertilizer application(control) to 5.4-5.6 in the application of cattle manure, and available $P_2O_5$ wntent was increased from 72.2 ppm(contro1) to 340.2 ppm(cattle manure 80 ton/ha). Application of cattle manure increased plant growth, plant height and stalk diameter, and silage yields. Dry matter yields were produced 15.88 ton(chemical fertilizer), 20.11 ton(cattle manure 40 ton) and 21.22 ton/ha(cattle manure 80 ton/ha). However, no signicant yield differences were observed between cattle manure 40, 60 and 80 tonlha Productions of total digestible nutrients(TDN) and net energy for lactation(NEL) were also increased under cattle manure application. From the abobe results, the proper application amount of cattle manure was 40 tonha in this experiment.

  • alfalfa 단파초지(單播草地)에 있어서 최대총건물(最大總乾物) 생산(生産)과 질적(質的) 향상(向上)을 위한 예취적기(刈取適期)가 연구(硏究)되었다. 최대총생산수량(最大總生産收量)을 위한 예취기(刈取期) tc(장(張), 1971)가 alfalfa 초종(草種)의 영속성(永續性)과 동시에 CP 및 IVD의 높은 수준(水準)을 수분하는 최대건물생산수량(最大乾物生産收量)의 적기(適期)로 선택(選擇)되었다. 이와 동일(同一)한 이론적(理論的) 근거에 입각하여 극대(極大) LAI 및 25% 개화기(開花期)가 alfalfa 단파초지(單播草地)에서 가장 적합(適合)한 형태학적(形態學的) 예취기(刈取期)임이 판명(判明)되었다.

Evaluation of Fermentation Quality of a Tropical and Temperate Forage Crops Ensiled with Additives of Fermented Juice of Epiphytic Lactic Acid Bacteria (FJLB)

  • This study aimed to examine the fermentation quality of a tropical Elephant grass (Pennisetum purpuereum) and temperate Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum) forages ensiled additive of fermented juice of epiphytic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and to determine what factor affects the fermentation characteristics of the crops. In both species cell walls neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and acid detergent fiber (ADF) contents in silages were consistently decreased (p<0.05) with the addition of FJLB at ensiling more then Control treatment. The FJLB additive increased number of LAB (cfu) and lactate concentration in the silages in both species. The Control treatment without additive underwent a clostridial type of fermentation with traces of propionic, iso-butyric, n-butyric acids contents with higher (p<0.01) levels of volatile basic nitrogen (VBN %TN) and had appreciable decreased of nutrient in silages. FJLB treatment improved silage nutritive value with little contents of VBN %TN, ethanol and very small amount of dry matter (DM) and hemicellulose losses (p<0.05) between 2 to 5% and 7 to 3% respectively, in Elephant grass and Italian ryegrass species. The results in this study indicates that while among the factors affecting silage fermentation butyric type of fermentation was more pronounced in tropical elephant grass compared to the temperate Italian ryegrass, FJLB additive revealed a better silage fermentation products in both species.

배합사료를 혼합한 돼지감자 ( Helianthus tuberosus L. ) 사일리지 제조시험 (A Study on the Quality of Tuber silage of Jerusalem Artichoke ( Helianthus tuberosus L. ))

  • In order to utilize the tuber of Jerusalem artichoke (Jerusalem tuberosus L.) which has been considered one of the most economical resources for bioenergy, the tubers of the plant were processed into silage in 11 lab-silo with three levels of mixture of concentrates i.e. 10, 20, 30%. The silage was stored for 20 to 40 days before analyses. The quality of silage was compared with those of the tube-only silage without concentrates. Aproximate composition, pH, ammonium nitrogen, total nitrogen, and organic acids were analyzed. The results obtained are summarized ; 1. With the mixture of concentrates, the water content of the silage was able to be adjusted to 70 percent and NDF significantly increased (P<0.05) while ADF significantly decreased. 2. The content of water-soluble carbohydrate (WSC) was significantly decreased in silages of the mixture of concentrate and the tuber (P<0.05), while total nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen increased. 3. Tube-only silage gave satisfaction in fermentation, particularly organic-acid fermentation. As the storage period extended, Flieg's score of the silage was improved. Conclusively, the tuber of Jerusalem artichoke found to satisfy the requirements of good silage and to be recommended as a good resource for all-inane silage provided the tuber was ensilaged with 20 to 30 percent concentrate.

Silage의 품질과 호상적 변패에 대한 proponic acid 와 예건의 효과 I. Silage의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Quality and Aerobic Deterioration of Italian Ryegrass Silage Prepared with Propionic Acid and Wilting I. Fermentation chracteristics of the silage)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of propionic acid and wilting on fermentation quality of Italian ryegrass silage. Grass material was wilted for a day before ensiling and propionic acid(0. 0, 0. 2. 0. 5 and 0.8 7~ of fresh matter) was applicated at ensiling time. Chemical composition, fermentation acids, pH, microbial population and distribution of the nitrogen contents were evaluated. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The contents of dry matter and water soluble carbohydrate in the silage were increased by wilting, and crude fibre, NDF and ADF were decreased with increasing propionic acid levels. 2. The pH values of the silage increased by increasing DM content, but decreased with increasing propionic acid levels. Lactic acid content lowed in wilted silage, and acetic acid and butyric acid formation were decreased with increasing propionic acid levels. 3. Total nitrogen content in the silage was i n ~ r e a s e d ( ~ < . 05) by addition of propionic acid and wilting, and was the highest in the prewilting-0.8 Q propionic acid applicated silage. The production of NHBN was decreased with propionic acid and was the lowest in the 0.8 % treated silage. 4. The number of total bacteria and yeasts were estimated $10^6~10^7$, $10^2~10^3$ respectively. Moulds number were decreased with increasing propionic acid levels.

답리작 호맥재배시 가축분시용이 후작 벼의 생육 및 수량과 미질에 미치는 영향 (Growth , Yield and Quality of Rice Cultivated on paddy Soils as After Crop of Fodder Rye under Heavy Application of Animal Manures)

  • Fodder rye(cv. Coolgrazer) was cultivated on paddy soils under different application rates of animal manures (CM=cow manures mixed with sawdust, SM=swine manure mixed with sawdust) during 1994-1995. Rice crop (CV. Geumo) was transplanted in the same plots after fodder rye. The effects of cattle manure application on the yield performance of rye and their influence to growth, yields and quality of rice were evaluated. Fodder rye produced larger plant growth and higher silage yield in the cattle manure application than in the chemical feltilizer (CF). Dry matter yields of rye silage were 3.08 ton(CF), 4.23 ton(CM) and 6.03 ton/ha(SM), respedively. Under heavy application of cattle manures plant height, number of tillers and grains per panicle were increased, but 1,000 grains weight and total yields of rice were decreased. Yields of brown rice were 5.20 ton(CF), 5.15 ton (CM) and 4.95 ton/ha(SM), respectively. Higher concentration of amylose was found in the heavy application of cattle manures. Amylose contents of rice were 16.8%(CF), 19.1%(CM) and 19.4%(SM).
