We present the optical design of Linear Astigmatism Free - Three Mirror System (LAF-TMS) D200 for UVO-Multiband Polarizing Imager System (UVOMPIS). LAF-TMS D200 is the off-axis wide-field telescope with EPD = 200 mm, F/2, and Field of View (FoV) = 2° × 4°. Its optical mirrors are optimized to freeform surfaces for high-quality optical performance over a wide FoV. The proposed mirror holder consists of four aluminum optomechanical modules that have applied for LAF-TMS D150 which is a prototype of the LAF-TMS system. It can accurately mount mirrors and also can sustain from vibration environments. As a feasibility study, quasi-static, modal, harmonic, and random vibration analyses have been performed to LAF-TMS D150 optomechanical structure under the qualification level of the Soyuz-2/Fregat launch system. We evaluate the vibration analysis results in terms of von Mises stress and Margin of Safety.
Sphene from the McDonald pegmatite near Bancroft, Ontario, Canada was analyzed using EPMA. It contains 4.3 to 6.3 weight percent of Nb2O5 with an average formula Ca1.02(Ti0.62Al0.22Nb0.07Fe0.06Ta0.01)Si0.99(O4.85F0.16). Three types of subtitutions are possible; 1)2Ti4+=(Nb, Ta)5+ + (Al, Fe3+), 2) Ti + O = (Al, Fe3+) + (F, OH), and 3) 2Ti + O = Fe2+ + (Nb, Ta)5+ + (F, OH). T재 different schemes of substitutions for balancing the analysis are considered when the iron is either all ferric or all ferrous. Assuming stoichiometry fo Ca and Si, a general formula derived from the two different schemes is Ca(Ti0.64Al0.22Fe3+0.06-X {{{{Fe_{x}^{2+} }} Nb0.01)Sio4.80-XF0.16(OH)0.04+x.

It has been reported that Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy(T & A) resulted in the change of voice by structural changes directly to the vocal track. We studied the effect of T & A on the voice of patients comparing the pre-operative to the post-operative voice. It was performed using a Computerized Speech Lab(CSL50) which is currently used as a method for voice analysis. Forty-five patients who had T&A, aging from 3 to 42 years old, took part in studies and wert evaluated for voice changes and the degree of formant changes of four basic vowels, /a/, /i/, /o/, and /u/. They were evaluated pre-operatively and post-operatively one month later using MDVP, CSL program of CSL50. The results obtained were as follows ; In using MDVP, there were some differences between pre-operative and post-operative shimmer measures within the normal range but other acoustic measures(Fo, jitter, NHR) show no significant differences(p>0.05). F3 of /a/ and /o/ were significantly decreased(p<0.05) and F2, F3 of /i/ were increased(p>0.05) in patients who only had Tonsillectomy in doing CSL spectrogram. For the patients who had T & A, Fl and F3 of /a/, F3 of /i/, Fl, F2 and F3 of /o/ were decreased with significant increase in F1 and F2 of /i/(p<0.05).
The purpose of this study was to fabricate a biocompatible fluoride varnish with sustained fluoride release, and to compare it with commercial fluoride varnishes. For the experimental fluoride varnish, bis-GMA (BG) or two types of rosin (KR-610: K0, KR-612: K2) were used as bases. Either ethyl acetate or ethanol was added as solvent and 5 wt% NaF was used. 5 mg of experimental F- varnishes and 2 commercial products, Cavity shield (CS) and Flor-opal (FO), were applied on a labial surface of bovine teeth ($10mm{\times}7mm$). The amount of fluoride release was measured at 1 hr, 2 hrs, 3 hrs, 4 hrs, 8 hrs, 12 hrs, 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, 20 days and 30 days. MTT test was done with diluted F- varnishes using ethanol. Statistical analysis was done with one-way ANOVA and Duncan multiple range test (${\alpha}=0.05$). BG showed the highest fluoride release at 1 hr (P<0.05), while that of K0 was highest at 2 hrs (P<0.05). From 1 day to 5 days, experimental fluoride varnishes showed higher fluoride release than the commercial products (P<0.05), and there were no significant differences after 5 days (P>0.05). For MTT test, K0 and FO showed higher cell viability than other experimental groups (P<0.05), with no significant differences with K2 (P>0.05). Considering the sustained fluoride release and cell viability of the experimental rosin-based fluoride varnishes compared with commercial products, it will be appropriate for clinical application.
Differences in fertilizer responses of Chinese cabbage to soil water status were investigated in a field experiment. The growth pattern, water use, nutrient uptake, apparent efficiency of fertilizer and yield were analyzed under the 4-different fertilizer levels (N-P-K rate, kg/10a: 0-0-0 Fo, 11.5-10-12.5 Fo.5, 23-30-25 F1.0, 34.5-30-37.5 F1.5 and under the 4-different soil water status levels (non irrigated plot Mo, -0.1 to -1.0 bars M1, -0.1 to -0.5 bars M2, -0.1 to -0.2 bars M3). The soil was Bonryang sandy loam in the experimental farm of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Suweon. The growth and yield responses to the fertilizer levels showed a large difference between F0 and F0.5 but little differences were recognized between F0.5, F1.0 and F1.5 when the soil water potentials at 20-cm soil depth were lower than -2.0 bar. Under the well irrigated soil conditions, M2, and M3, the growth and yield responses to the fertilizer levels were significantly increased and the nutrient requirements were increased as well. The total uptake of nutrients decreased as the fertilizer amounts increased when the soil water potentials were low, while the total uptake of nutrients increased when the soil water potentials were high. Therefore, in considering nutrient availability of the applied fertilizers, the soil water status should be taken into account.

In this study, a new LTCC material using $ZnWO_4$-LiF system was attempted with respect to use as a capacitor layer in Front-End Module. Pure $ZnWO_4$ must be sintered above $1050^{\circ}C$ in order to obtain up to 98% of full density. It's measured dielectric constant, quality factor, and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 15.5, 74380GHz, and $-70ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively. LiF addition resulted in an liquid phase formation at $810^{\circ}C$ due to interaction between $ZnWO_4$ and LiF. Therefore $ZnWO_4$ with 0.5~1.5wt% LiF could be densified at $850^{\circ}C$. Addition of LiF slightly lowered the dielectric constant from 15.5 to 14.2~15. In the given LiF addition range, the sintering shrinkage increased with increasing LiF content. $Q{\times}fo$ value, however, decreased with increasing LiF content(or increasing densification). This is originated from the interaction between the liquid phase and $ZnWO_4$ and inhomogeneity of grain morphology.
Microwave dielectric properties of $(Na_{1/2}{\;}La_{1/2})TiO_3$ (NLT) ceramics which is an A site complex perovskite structure are investigated. Dense sintered bodies are obtained when calcined at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 4h and then sintered in the temperature range between $1350^{\circ}{\;}and{\;}1450^{\circ}C$. NLT shows the bulk density of $4.95g/\textrm{cm}^3$, relative density of 96.4%, and a simple cubic structure with lattice constant(a) of 3.873$\AA$. Dielectric Constant(${\varepsilon}_r$) and quality factor Q increase as bulk density and average grain size increase respectively. NLT has the dielectric ${\varepsilon}_r=125$, Q=2842(fo=3 GHz), ${\tau}_f=465{\;}ppm/^{\circ}C$ when sintered at $1400^{\circ}C$ for 4h.
This paper proposes a 12-bit SAR A/D(Successive Approximation Register Analog-to-Digital) converter that operates at low power for bio-signal and sensor signal processing. The conventional SAR A/D converter utilized the reduction of the dynamic current, which resulted in reducing total power consumption. In order to solve the limitation of the sampling time due to charging/discharging of the capacitor for reducing dynamic current, the different sampling time on the C-DAC bit switch operation was applied to reduce the dynamic current. In addition, lowering the supply voltage of the digital block to 0.6V led to 70% reduction of the total power consumption of the proposed ADC. The proposed SAR A/D was implemented with CMOS 65nm process 1-poly 6-metal, operates with a supply voltage of 1.2V. The simulation results demonstrate that ENOB, DNL/INL, power consumption and FoM are 10.4 bits, ±0.5LSB./±1.2LSB, 31.2uW and 2.8fJ/step, respectively.
